Post Muchimido Ending Au headcanons pt. 5

-One day, Midori and Muchisute chatted about the other freaks and what they think they could be up to these days. Muchisute said Kanabun probably became a male stripper to support himself.

-Hoichi and the human worm were brought up, and Midori asked about their whereabouts and if they left with Akaza and Benietsu, to which Muchisute responded that he didn't see them leave the circus with them. -She also loves to run up to him to give him kisses when they're done eating, only for him to be weirded out.

-She also likes to run up to him to give him hugs. Depending on his mood, he either pushes her away or lets her hold on.

-One time, she booped his nose and he kicked her in the chest in return.

-She forgives him every time be poor girl thinks he really loves her:(

-Showering her with kisses after she lets him do her in, the stuff he says to her is even better /s; "You've been such a good girl, Midori.", “Such a good little girl", "You're mine"

-Muchisute has made her walk around topless or bottomless a few times.

-Ok but Post Stockholm syndrome Middy does about anything to try and sexually satisfy Muchisute. In bed, she'll press her coochie against his leg, lick his nips, grab the sides of his waist, she also tries to give him hickies herself and she leaves the smallest bite marks ever.

-Muchisute barely feels anything when she bites him, like, it actually tickles him lol. He laughs and tells her she’s so pathetic.

-Around Christmas time, Midori asks Muchisute what they’re going to do and he’s like, “um, we don’t have that kind of money.”. Midori goes 🙁. So for Christmas, Midori just purchases sweets for both herself and him, “I got dango and taiyaki ^_^”. Muchi doesn’t really care for sweets but eats a few anyways cuz why not, it’s food.

-Muchisute kinda finds Post-SS Midori annoying so he’s physically abusive to her every now and then to put her in her place.

middy here usually rambles about her daily going ons now on twitter but since i'm back on tumblr rq i figured i'd ramble here too! theyr'e about the same as on twitter if you find me tho so <3 I've recently finished up Even if Tempest: Dawning Connections and firstly let me say i LOVE LOVE love Love the way this whole cast is Together. Usually I haven't seen many good interactions between the LIs without the MC being there but the chemistry and backstory relationships between these four LIs really got my heart going. And also my writing hands going b/c lemme tell you I fell IN LOVE with the bar trio of Crius/Tyril/Zenn . [below line contains spoilers for EiT and it's FD]

Firstly the fact that in the very Very beginning of EiT you get this inkling that Zenn knows of Tyril based on how they interacted within that castle scene? Then after Anastasia's first Fatal Rewind you go on to find out that Zenn changed from government to a local town detective ? Did you know there was an official little short story posted up on the japanese product page for EiT that was basically a miniature 'what-if' scenario if Anastasia had never used her fatal rewind and just died there?? For Zenn's, he still ends up establishing something of a friendship with Crius and Tyril, but because the truth of 'what' he is never gets fully discussed he ends up leaving them- though the memories are something he remembers fondly/holds close. 10 years later (TEN years..) he accidentally runs into Crius and Tyril again in a different country- and they greet him warmly (as warmly as you can imagine Tyril), because maybe all along they actually Knew about Zenn's immortality... but Zenn panics and runs away again. Only later on does he pull it together and realize that they must've already known, and they might have even come out that far to search for him. Just when he's steeled his resolve to go back to Hystorica to meet them... He finds out they both died. One from illness, and the other from a bite wound. GOD. THAT STORY MAKES ME INSANE YKNOW.

It's also the fact the lovely writer Ushio Ayane-san themselves have posted up all these delightful little tidbits across their social medias like who's the worst to handle when drunk, how are they when they get sick, what's their usual morning/night routine?

Anyways back to the ot3- while obviously I get the ideals that it's the MC who was able to affect all these changes within each diff LI, I am personally convinced that the relationships they shared helped them as well. Crius and Tyril took it personally upon themselves to go hunt down Zenn when he tried to disappear from their lives even without Anastasia's prompting!

Plus the implied fact that Crius + Tyril + Zenn are almost always at the bar at night together to drink + feed misinformation to their newest scheme's enemies ?? That Zenn, even through all his grousing and curses at Crius for abandoning him, would still take the drunken Tyril home without fail AND ensure he drinks water/doesn't try to drown in the bathtub?

If anything little tidbits I wish I'd gotten were more details on the background between those three aside from the whole 'taking Conrad's org down', how Zenn fares in fights, how they asked 'impossible' things of Zenn throughout this time.. Gosh. I love this game.

Is it actually a problem?

When we don't look at our problems with intentional thoughts we let our mind get to work on buffering and avoiding the real problem. This is where mental spin and confusion and feeling helpless come into play.

We run from our problems.

Why is it a problem?

Break your problem down to the very core of the issue. Why is your problem a problem?

You have to process your thoughts on the problem.

If you don't you will all or dirty painful thoughts to get in

Dirty is resisting the emotion

Make your thoughts about the problems as clean as possible

Define the problem as positively as possible and in as simple terms as possible

Breaking a problem down like this you are taking control of your thoughts, and control of the problem too.

Resolving the problem

After you have processed your thoughts then you can start resolving your problems

Take Full responsibility for your part of the scenario.

Make a plan

Take action on the plan

The Real Problem

Resisting the opportunity to grow

If you do not break your thoughts about the problem down you will allow more problems and more thoughts about the problem and this will muddy the process.

Your mind wants it middy that way you stay safe and where your mind feels comfortable.

You will be tempted to blame

You will feel more frustration

are we thinking the problem is a problem or are we looking at it as an opportunity? Which one is more troublesome?

Many times we make problems out of things that actually aren't problems.

This is why the model is so handy. We can see our thoughts and adjust them.

Endwalker thoughts as well as some quite personal feelings about it under the cut. Do not read if you don’t want spoilers about the main scenario! It’s a wall of text too :’D

First off, what an expansion. Wauw. Slower start compared to ShB and some pacing hiccups here and there, but damn what a spectacle it was towards the end. Very different overall feeling from ShB too, instead of feeling like a very personal story of strife and triumph, Endwalker was about things much larger than you(the WoL). Very philosophical as well, especially from Elpis and onward. I feel like anyone who has ever experienced deep depression is going to get absolutely sliced and diced by many of the moments, lines and characters. Part of me thinks that the writer(s) have either experienced depression themselves or through someone close, or they’ve really done a deep dive into understanding how it feels. Now I’m not kidding when i say that most of the time I was doing msq I was crying, either because things were so sweet and wholesome, so fucking cool and/or nostalgic from earlier FF’s, or just cut so deep with the overall theme. Also I’ve discovered that I am just a big ol’ crybaby so it really doesn’t take much to get my eyes leaky.

I’m going to list things that got me the most, in no particular order:

- That scene with Urianger & Moenbryda’s parents.(as well as Urianger’s character development in general) Holy shit. I wasn’t expecting it to go the way it did, and when it did...I’m about to cry just thinking about it again. There’s a big personal factor about parental relationships for me there as well.

- Vrtra. Another thing I did not except was that he would be so different from the other middy kiddys we’ve met so far. So caring, calm, even sensitive in many ways. He also had a much larger role in the story than what I anticipated, and I really loved it! (fucking wept like an infant when they showed his bloodied sides from giving away so many scales) Also I love that he wasn’t modeled in a conventional way to represent his personality. It mad it feel that much more real with his worries about the people accepting him.

- The entire Elpis gang. Venat, Hythlo, Emet, Hermes, Meteion... Where to even begin. The moment we step out of the room into the Elpis map, I started crying. I did not expect to go there at all, even less so where it took the story. Venat, Hythlo and Emet I enjoy for obvious reasons, but Hermes really pulled the carpet under my feet, oof. I had difficulty understanding Meteion’s meaning and part in the story at first, but after googling terms new to me; like entelechy and dynamis, etc. things clicked into place. (more on this later)

- Hydaelyn’s send-off. Beautifully portrayed. I am so glad we got to know Venat so much better before the trial. The gravity and repercussions of her choice becoming hydaelyn told, finally showing the other side of the coin to the deity we knew mostly as “good” or “selfless”. ShB opened that a lot but Endwalker really told us things as they were and that was super satisfying. Also after all this time, they STILL managed to make ‘Answers’ give us more feels than it already did.

- Ultima Thule in it’s entirety. Again, did not expect us to go there at all. The entities we encountered and the way it was progressed through... Too many feels were had. I have always been curious about middy’s homeplanet and what happened there, so that one especially was a treaaaaat!

- How well they portrayed the feelings of hopelessness, fear, grief and overall what I would call deep depression. The portrayal of being emphathetic to all life and how much anguish it can bring. The feeling of not having any hope in your future, or the entire world’s future for that matter. Striving for perfection and realising that in the end, it has no meaning. Everything becomes meaningless, and the only wish that remains to you is that it would all just end. You lose your sense of self and become your dark thoughts. Not trying to be dramatic or to make anyone worry, but that’s all things I’ve felt and known having severe depression, and I still do. And I think most who have been in a dark place like that in their life felt it during Endwalker. Some lines in dialogues really cut deep.

- Character growth. Be it the Scions or other characters, there was a lot of it in Endwalker. Even Forchenault, who I absolutely despised for being such a stubborn piece of shit putting up a cold front for his goddamn kids. They really know how to make it and break it with characters. Even our boy Zenos finally got his first ounce of character growth, lol! (i don’t believe us rid of him yet, for better or worse) I really loved the (much needed) little breaks like having takeaway dinner with your friends in your dorm room. Getting to see the more vulnerable side of people. Getting to see the real dynamic between Emet and Hythlodaeus. (can’t wait for Pandaemonium and Lahabread lore!) And then for my biggest pet peeve about the expansion: Why was Anima just a dungeon boss ;_; The potential for a trial fight... (i guess they would’ve not shown it beforehand if it was a trial, but still!) I found the anima boss fight more interesting than the zodiark trial tbh, but I might be anima... -biased.

Overall I felt like they could’ve not given us a better conclusion to the story. If I was a little worried about how interested I would be in whatever comes next, now the curiosity has overthrown the worry. It’ll likely be another buildup to another grand storyline, but will they brave another 10-year long arc? I’d be quite alright with that, but not sure if it’s a smart business choice :’D

You know that one ask where anon asks what if a slightly older Middy got pregnant from Muchisute? How would he treat her throughout her pregnancy? Would he act the same or treat her even harsher? Or would he be all fucking weird about it since he fucked her so much he knocked her up? Why couldn’t he just stomp on Middy’s belly until she miscarries?

I see two scenarios.

One: Muchisute won’t want kids and will kick out Midori for being pregnant :(

Two: He might keep Midori around in hopes that he can raise this baby to be his new sex slave🤢.

And you bet your buns he’s not going to give an ounce of support to her. He would treat her a lot harsher bc she’s constantly in pain and can’t do much, like damn bro.

I feel like he would still force her to do chores if, for say, it’s something like there’s dust on the furniture or sink is piled with dishes. He probably still forces her to perform sex acts on him like sucking his dick or jerking him off.

Dragon Dad and the WoL

OK but seriously, you ever think about how since 2.5 the Warrior of Light has had an ancient immortal dragon sharing their headspace, attached to their aether perhaps permanently, because Midgardsormr made a deal with Mama Crystal, and now has to observe Her champion through all of Heavensward, and into the Stormblood patches, AND according to Hraesvelgr, still seems perfectly capable of communicating with his kids even while taking an enforced nap (thanks, Omega)? Midgardsormr is aware, and watching, because that’s his job.

Sure, he mostly manifests and talks to the WoL face to face, but there are one or two scenes where we just hear his voice...somewhere, around/in the WoL’s head.

Now consider all the shenanigans the WoL gets up to. I don’t just mean the canonical stuff (what does Middy think of Hildibrand, anyway?) but also all the silly fanon and roleplay scenarios. Like all those WoLs banging each other and/or their NPC faves. While connected to a grumpy old man who Just Wants To Nap but has been asked to Observe.

See, I maybe have a scene idea for a WoL and their chosen NPC crush like, sparring or something, things get a little steamy, there’s awkwardness and walking away (cuz I play the slowburn game), which leads to, in my mind, a sudden certain deep growly voice going full teasing Dad Mode on the WoL. Especially when we know he’s much nicer in the original Japanese.

Just think about your WoL banging their fave, knowing Midgardsormr--who knows full well about privacy, but does he care if there’s more important matters hells no--is always potentially there, in the background.

Also the if/when the WoL’s paramour finds out about said connection with the Father of Dragons.

All I’m saying is there is a lot of potential for awkward hilarity not being taken advantage of nearly often enough.

Maybe some angst, too, when one thinks about the implications of being bound to an immortal aether guardian.

middy, tell us what's clark's favorite secret hobbies (and why they're secret)

Okay, so Clark doesn’t really have secret hobbies because he’s a bad liar, but he at least tried to hide them. Most of these hobbies were performed in high school/university years.

There are canon versions Clark was a very shy boy and not popular among his classmates, however my version of Clark used to be very popular due to his incredible performances in football, baseball and basketball. At first, Pa Kent wouldn’t say anything, but as soon as he realized Clark was getting cocky due to his abilities, they had a conversation.

Pa Kent explained Clark he couldn’t use his powers to show superiority to anybody because it wasn’t fair, and they were all equal. Clark understood, of course, but it took time for him to get rid of his cockiness – even during his university years, he would try to show off. Because of the convo, Clark suddenly decided to leave the sports teams (people actually believed he would try out for pro teams after high school, and got really shocked at his own decisions). Everyone would ask why he left, and he had to lie, saying he wasn’t feeling well physically and mentally for them. It was a HARD time for Clark since he LOVED playing games. So, one of his secret hobbies was actually playing football/baseball/basketball alone. He used his super speed to get to play all the positions. Sometimes, Krypto would join him. To be fair, this was a point in his life that made Clark get even more lonely – he believed he couldn’t play with anyone or else he would be cheating.

So high school was over, and Clark had to decide what to do with his life. Another hobby he loved was write, so he got to journalism classes.

To suppress his depressing feelings, during his college years, Clark would make secret trips around the world. He would keep his mind occupied with writing as well, and his stories were always reflections of his own life, but with no powers – detective stories, adventure stories, even love stories. These stories are kept in secret into a locker – only his parents read them. Clark doesn’t even have the guts to show them to Lois. He still writes them nowadays, recreating a scenario where he doesn’t have superpowers. Only a story was made for the public: Under a Yellow Sun, his second novel.

College Football 2020 Season Week 8 TV Watch Em Ups: this is entirely too much football

Welcome back to football, B1G. Now go away and leave us all to relive old sports moments, we’re all full up on new ones.

Well maybe not that, exactly, but there’s a damn pandemic on and it’s ramping up like crazy right now. Why is any of this shit worth it? And why can’t I look away? Life is one long cycle of sticking your mouth to the millstone and grinding your teeth and jaw and skull and all the rest of your bones into dust with only little bits of respite here and there to make you feel like it’s all worthwhile. And maybe it is. Maybe watching people maimed for enjoyment is that bit of respite. If you’re lucky you can win a couple of dollars for your watching skills. I’d still prefer to propose that instead of wasting away waiting for rewards in another lifetime that we fight for a better existence on this plane but, you know, I don’t like fighting all that much.
