y’all don’t understand, I’ve had the theory that the Empire took the Clone kids off Kamino to use for experimentation purposes for YEARS. this is pre season 2 I’m talking about here. I’ve literally been planning on implementing it into MLWTBB for a LONG time now. I can’t believe it’s legit \o/

I got over 1100 words written in this chapter so far, and y'all I gotta say, I was cookin' tonight. gave myself chills honestly. kinda sad this thing won't be read for several months lolololol

pretty much everyone agrees that in a modern AU, most of the Clones wouldn't have the names they have in SW (save for ones like Cody, Rex, and Hunter). I personally like to think that their SW names are nicknames, like maybe it's what they were known as in the military or something like that. which at that point, you could give them any name you wanted for a modern setting. however I think it's funny to have them have names that are similar to their SW names to help add to the irony.

so like, in my modern AU, Hunter is the only one who has the same name, while the others have names similar to their "nicknames". Omega is Megan, Wrecker is Richter, Tech is Teague, Crosshair is Christopher, and Echo is Eric. it makes the nicknames more ironic imo haha

since I've finally been writing again thanks to season 3, I actually have something to share 😁 this is from the next upcoming chapter of MLWTBB, in the story based off the season 1 finale, "This Isn't Goodbye".

Hunter: hey I'm home

Hannah: OMG IT'S BEEN FIVE MONTHS WTF WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN WHAT'S GOING ON WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL ME YOU SMELL LIKE HOT GARBAGE AND LOOK LIKE IT TOO YOU BETTER START TALKING MISTER

Hunter: *realizing he is in DEEP trouble* .........I brought you a gift

Hannah: ohhhhhh no, that's not gonna work on me this time, don't even try it--

Hunter: *drags Mox, Deke, and Stak into the room* found these guys on an abandoned planet

Hannah: ........................................OMG YOU POOR BABIES WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU COME HERE I AM YOUR MOTHER NOW

Hunter: *deep exhale* works every time✨

I don't talk enough about my MLWTBB OCs and I think that's a shame

in the first story, we have a Twilek Mom™ and her sassy Zabrak bestie who both work as sexy waitresses in a high-end restaurant. we have the restaurant's owner, who is literally just bedazzled Castor from Tron Legacy, and his trusty assistant who is the Chiss version of Severus Snape. there's also the villain, a corrupt but smooth Devaronian businessman obsessed with getting what he wants by any means necessary (he may or may not be faceclaimed as Tom Hiddleston, that's all I'm saying 👀). oh, and did I mention he's Roland Durand's uncle?? 🤭

then we have the Ord Mantell characters, who are seen throughout the rest of the series. there's a quirky Cathar who owns a pawn shop, likes shiny things, and has no regard for personal space. there's a grumpy architect droid who seems to only care about his work (despite that obviously not being the case 😜), and his friendly little BD droid assistant. he also has a rivalry with Tech and refers to him as his nemesis LOL. there's also a Godfather-like Besalisk who lives in the mountains and is an intimidating presence to everyone he meets... unless you're willing to play cards with him 😆. he also owns a giant mouse droid who does all his bidding; no one knows how it's able to do the things that it does because it's always done out of sight. there's even a smug, self-centered half-Mirialan who is constantly trying to woo my character, even after she's CLEARLY been taken. oh and I can't forget the sweet old lady who runs a fruit stand and is always being nosey about my character's relationship with Hunter ROFL

some other characters in the story are a rich, stuck-up businesswoman from Hosnian Prime, and her two bumbling assistants, who are responsible for finally getting Hunter and my character together (no joke). and I can't forget my character's reprogrammed OOM Battle Droid who is super sweet but quite ditzy and frequently gets into scraps with Echo haha

and there will be more to come in the future... 😌

I wrote almost seven pages of my Plan 99 fix-it, over 2500 words already. and I’ve barely scratched the surface of the ideas I’ve come up with ehehehe 😁

literally spent an entire shower just thinking of future scenarios for MLWTBB (mainly ones involving Crosshair 😁) and it made me come to a conclusion

I think it’s finally time for me to accept the fact that it’s ok for me to change canon events for my story. I’ve technically already been doing that, and I’ll be doing it in a radical way with Tech for my Plan 99 story. and seeing people’s theories about season 3 things along with what we know will happen from the trailer (*cough*Pabu being invaded*cough*), I need to let go of the idea of sticking so hard to canon. I don’t want to have to fit my story into someone else’s anymore. I can continue to implement similar things (like I’ll be doing with Plan 99 👀), but ultimately, I want this story to be my own. and if that means taking canon and reforming it to fit my desires, then that’s what I’m going to do 😌

my spite towards my writer’s block has resulted in me actually writing in MLWTBB again, which I am thrilled about

but it’s been so long that I’ve psyched myself out about certain things

like this scene I’m writing where all the Clones are leaving individually and I thought I was forgetting someone and had to double check that I had accounted for everyone, then realized I had in fact accounted for everyone, I just assumed I hadn’t because I forgot that Crosshair isn’t a part of the story yet 💀

I'm reading through one of my wips for this summary and I just gotta say, I truly do think you can get away with anything in SW. I've legit made the excuse that my self-insert uses irl modern lingo because "that's how they talk on my planet" ROFL
