Hi guys!
Sorry I haven't posted in a while but don't worry Autumn has arrived and it is officially my favourite time of year! This month is my birthday and when I tell you I am a true autumnal girl, I mean it! When it comes to autumn makeup I'm way more into my golden eye looks paired with a red lip and today I wanted to revisit a favourite of mine!
If like me you grew up watching Zoella tutorials you will know all about the Rimmel London x Kate Moss 107 lipstick. This wine toned red was the lipstick that got me obsessed with a berry lip. Honestly the first time I saw this lipstick in a tutorial I felt like my eyes were gonna pop out my head, it was a stunning lipstick. Last month Zoe Sugg (Zoella) uploaded videos every day in august and in one she decided to put on makeup she was obsessed with years ago and the lipstick popped up!
This reminded me that I owned the lipstick myself and I had to try it on for old times sake. The moment I found it in my collection it felt like 2014 all over again, the lipstick even still smells the same which I didn't expect. Once I finished putting on the lipstick I felt like my younger self straight away, the lipstick itself is like a creamy matte so not the easiest to apply but my god did it make me happy.
I love when you find makeup products that take you back to a time or a memory so I would love to know what is your favourite throwback makeup product?
Lot's of love,
Bella x x

Kitze's Lippie Recs
🍭 . ⋆ ⋆· ˚ ༘ *
Kissable lips start here 💋*.✧: I collect so many lip products so I thought I should share my favorite ones!! So here's a list of lippies I'd recommend if you're looking to buy your first one or want to add another to your collection <3
︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿
1. DAISY DOLL - Watery Lip Tint
Tumblr media
⋆.˚ ᡣ𐭩 .𖥔˚ — I bought this when I went to Chinatown a while ago AND OMGGG ITS SO PRETTY!!! You don't even need a lot of the product for it to look amazing!! I got the lip tint in the shade PK-1 (the one being pictured). There are four other lip tints in the collection if you wanna check those out too ^^ I don't keep track of how long it stays for but you might need to reapply a few times throughout the day! I can't remember how much it was at the store I bought it from but on the official site for it, it's listed as £13.00 or around $16 USD!
2. NYX - Butter Gloss
Tumblr media
⋆.˚ ᡣ𐭩 .𖥔˚ — I recently bought this one when I went to Target and was like I need berry colored lippie!! It's the only non pink/red lip product I own and I love it sm!! I'd say the same thing as I did for Daisy Doll when talking about long lasting wear. There are literally hundreds of other color choices available like I honestly wanna go get more!! The price on the official NYX website is just $6 USD!!
3. COVERGIRL - Clean Fresh Tinted Lip Balm
Tumblr media
⋆.˚ ᡣ𐭩 .𖥔˚ — I bought this at Walmart!! It's such a good alternative if you don't like lipglosses or anything like that! Its just a tinted lip balm and it didn't dry my lips out! Sadly I lost this in school before I got to finish it 😭 I had the shade called Bliss You Berry and it was only $5.88 USD!
4. ROM&ND - Juicy Lasting Tint
Tumblr media
⋆.˚ ᡣ𐭩 .𖥔˚ — I also bought this in Chinatown long before I bought the Daisy Doll one! It lasts pretty well, maybe just a reapply or two depending on your preference! I bought the one in the shade Cherry Bomb and it has a nice cherry scent to it!! I want to buy more from Romand since they have so many different shades ^^ On the Romand website it's listed as $17.90 USD!
︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿
QOTD: What's your favorite lip product(s)?

Mini makeup review, so I checked out Judydoll and I really like how their gel eyeliner and liquid liner goes on, it’s very smooth and incredibly thin. For someone who has somewhat hooded eyes like I do having more real estate for eyeshadow is a real game changer. I don’t know yet if it’s as durable as my old makeup (Urban Decay pencil with Nekoyanin liquid eyeliner) was but I’m willing to give up some long lasting wear for a cleaner and crisper application. I do think I prefer my cheap ass Essence mascara to Judydoll’s mascara but it is less clumpy I think so application is nice but it’s not as striking of a difference. Is that a big deal though? No, not really, when I want a big lash look I wear my Glamnetic fake lashes, I’ll have to try the Judydoll liners with my fake lashes to see the true glam results but I don’t really feel inspired enough to do it atm, maybe at a later date. Over all thoughts great product at a very reasonable price, I am a fan of Asian beauty brands and glad I gave Judydoll a try, I would buy from them again. Thanks for coming to my makeup review. ✌🏻
PS sorry for my hair looking crappy I just finished drying it lol also apologies for the general bad pics I’m not a photogenic dinosaur but I do look good for 40!
PSS the shimmer on my eyelids is a Japanese brand jill leen and they did a collab with Cinnamoroll and being a responsible adult with a proxy address in Japan I had to buy it. I believe it’s intended to be used on your lower lash line but I never mess with my lower lash line so I use it as an eye shadow stand in.

fashionably late review — merit beauty 🖋
signature lipstick — matte + satin
power (matte)[blue based red] - comfortable, powdery finish and feel, very slightly dry in the same way putting powder on your lips is dry, does not feel like a traditional crusty matte lipstick at all, flattering color mix, sheer application feels like nothing while the opaque application feels like powder. smells like nothing at all. packaging feels nice and unique but not hindering. packaging is a smokey black.
l’avenue (satin)[brown berry] + millennial (satin)[nude pink] - comfortable, balmy lipstick feel, smells like lipstick with no added scents, true to swatch color application, comfortable wear, even wear down, does not get everywhere during eating, the packaging is a bronzy brown.
cheek flush balm —
rouge (true neutral red) + stockholm (baby pink) - balmy but not waxy feeling, melts onto the cheeks and face and stays balmy on the lips, blends into bare skin naturally, lightweight, leaves a natural sheen when blended in but not true dewy, lightweight packaging, no breakouts or clogged pores with proper cleansing from this product, a little product goes a long way in terms of pigment. i am always afraid i’m going to crush the dome with the lid.
so far this line feels amazing. i like that the color shades with their respective formulas do not demand a full face of makeup; i can wear a lipstick on its own or blush on its own and i don’t look imbalanced on the face. i think my favorite product is definitely the cheek flush in rouge; red is my natural color of flush and this blends to naturally into my skintone. i have a neutral leaning olive undertone but i’m also quite pale so i flush a very true red when i do and this looks the most natural on me.
i think this line will be great for most people but especially people who just want a couple pieces of makeup to wear to work or to feel a little more pulled together and the formulas deliver on that. if my mother was still wearing makeup, she would have loved this for work. aside from that area, i am a makeup lover but i also don’t wear full glam, like, ever, so this works great for my more natural makeup to no makeup-makeup looks. and you know, when you are running to the store but want red lipstick on.
this line is meant to be very minimal and minimal products typically have to live up to being good quality, having longevity, and actually fitting into routines, and i think merit achieves that with this line.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i plan on doing more of these, so if you enjoyed, consider following me. or don’t. i’m not in charge of you.

Dior Lip Oil Thoughts
Okay, I bought the lip Dior lip glow cherry lip oil in Pink a few weeks ago. I am sometimes (correction: always) easily influenced by beauty trends on tik tok, and I have officially finished the little vial.
Pros: it is very moisturizing! My lips felt smoother and well nourished while using. The doe foot applicator is oversized and well flocked so application felt very smooth. I also felt so fancy whipping this out to use! A little silly, but the psychological gratification is there if you are a person who enjoys luxury brands.
Neutral: it is not a oil, but also not a lip gloss as I hear so often claimed. It feels like a plush gel texture on the lips with an oily slip leftover on the lips after it wore off. On days my lips were cracked and chapped I loved the feel, but days they were more normal, I didn’t like or hate the texture. It is a typical level of shine or juicy appearance on the lips, nothing specials the tint is barely noticeable on bare lips, especially if your lips are more on the pigmented side. Like a whisper of color is what it translates as.
Cons: I hate to say this but OMG THE SMELLL!!!! It was horrendous! Now the lip oil is advertised as having cherry oil in the formulation, and it’s supposed to aid with hydration, conditioning, etc of your lips. I could not smell any actual real cherry scent at any point. When I first bought it I got a light whiff of a synthetic cherry which I didn’t mind as I loved lip smackers as a little girl. But as the days rolled on and I kept applying I noticed like a sickly sweet rotten odor always around me, that honestly made me feel sick to my stomach at times 🤢
I cleaned and zero odor sprayed everything within a couple of feet of me, to no avail! The rotten sweet smell kept taunting me! I could not figure out what the culprit was until my lovely wife leaned in to kiss me a few days in and said “oh you’re wearing that Dior aren’t you?” And I answered yes and asked why and she said “that stuff smells” before opting to kiss my cheek instead. Understandably devastated I grabbed my vial and took a deep whiff sniff test and just smelled the synthetic cherry again, but then lurking underneath was the sickly sweet rotten smell I had been plagued by! So I am assuming after opening the smell broke down after being exposed to air and my lips as I used it. Bad smells are a major deal breaker for me.
Verdict: I would not ever repurchase this. It’s nothing really special anyhow, and the gross smell did me in. Luckily I didn’t not spend all of my own money, on the lip oil, thanks to cashing in my Ulta points. I would have been way more angry had I shelled out $40 out of my own dollars completely.
I did hate finish the vial picture below:

Experience Vacay Vibes with OUAI's St. Barts Body Cleanser | Review
I am a huge fan of OUAI – all my haircare is from them due to their premium quality and consistently great results! I even have a few of their shampoos and creams – which is what made me stumble upon their limited edition collection and discover their St. Barts scent, and boy did I fall in love instantly. The OUAI cleansers are thick, lathering formulas which ensure it cleanses away all of the…

Hi guys,
Today I am VERY excited to write this blog post because we have a brand new product from Charlotte Tilbury! If you don't use the brand Charlotte Tilbury is famous for very glowy, old Hollywood style makeup and her new product promises to bring the glow! Let me introduce you to the new Charlotte Tilbury Unreal Skin Foundation Stick, £35.00.
This is Charlotte's first ever foundation stick and this product is being labelled the perfect no makeup, makeup product! The new range has 20 flexible shades, for obvious reasons I bought Shade 1 which is the same shade in the other foundations too. Charlotte describes the new product as "a hydrating foundation stick that blurs and smooths for a ring light-effect! It's the ultimate no-foundation foundation!". Like the light wonder wonder foundation it has a super-natural, sheer-to-light, buildable coverage, glide on the Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E infused formula to unlock the look of an instantly smoothed, snatched, blurred, soft-focus skin glow!
A lot of people have compared the glowy finish to the Hollywood Flawless Filter but unlike that product, this one is actually called a foundation and blurs the skin which the filter does not. Normally I'm a satin finish girly but I loved how lightweight the stick felt on my face and the flawless finish it gave my skin. I wasn't expecting my skin to look so smooth and the foundation wear so well considering it's a glowy based product. Since I am oily combo I did powder down the foundation at first and then during the day let the glow show through which I would do with any other foundation too.
I've only been using this product for a week or 2 but so far I am so impressed with this new product and it's making me love a glowy face base which like I said isn't my usual go to. If you want to shop the range on Charlotte's site, she has added a shade matching tool to help you find the perfect foundation! As always all products mentioned are linked above.
Lot's of love,
Bella x x

Okkuuur, here's what else I'm getting rid of-both of these get a 1/5 stars tbh. The multiface stick (which I bought mostly cause it was popular :I), wasn't really that good. I used it as an eyeshadow, but it would crease like a mf, then I tried using it as a highlighter, but it wouldn't blend well and always came out streaky. So yeah, getting rid of it (but I might try using it as a lipstick, last resort, so don't be shocked if you see it again).
The real star-the Clinique 'Take the Day Off' makeup remover. (Also bought cause it was popular) It worked fine, but after a bit I realized it was just micellar water. A few ingredients are different, but that's essentially what it was. I panned it, but I ain't rebuying. With a small being $15/50ml, and micellar water bring $4/100ml, it's 7.5x the price. There's the real girl math for ya, IG.

i absolutely love lip products like i have like 19 of them so im gonna rate most of em hehe ✧・゚:*
-𝙧𝙤𝙢&𝙣𝙙 𝙟𝙪𝙞𝙘𝙮 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙩 (#6 figfig) : 10/10
the absolute best tint ever istg romand outdid themselves with this one. its super pigmented and literally lasts forever, like i finished a three course meal and i still have the pigment on my lips. the packaging is ok but it makes up for it with the absolute amazing formula inside of it
-𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖 𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙩 (#28 mauveful nude): 8/10
ok so the pigment is definitely there + the color is super cute butttttt the formula is kinda drying so points off because it definitely doesnt keep ur lips moisturized at all but it hides like those lip cracks so extra points hehe (a bit pricey tho)
-𝙗𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙨 𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙩 (#1 paradise found and #4 never settle): 6/10
first of all the packaging is super cute and its pretty cheap compared to most lip tints so props to barenbliss for that BUT. the tint goes away pretty fast and doesn't stay as long so i definitely wouldn't recommend it to people who take makeup seriously but for beginners and daily use, this should be your go to lip tint + the smell is incredible
-𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙥 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙮 𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 (#2 night milk): 6/10
i think this is a Chinese brand idk but anyways this is a pretty good gloss imo but it doesn't stay on for long but it's pretty affordable and the packaging is sooooo cute
-𝙮.𝙤.𝙪 𝙨𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙥 (#4 high five): 5/10
ok so price really tells for this one uhh its super affordable but like the formula is drying and if you have like cracked lips it will show so this really is just a beginner product imo
-𝙗𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙨 𝙠𝙞𝙬𝙞 𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙩 (#3 reddy ready): 5/10
my opinion on this one is the same as the other bnb product but it has one less point because i do not like the scent at all but its super travel friendly (it can literally become a keychain)
-𝙗𝙡𝙥 𝙡𝙞𝙥 𝙘𝙤𝙖𝙩 (#bloody mary): 7/10
this is actually pretty good, hides the lip cracks pretty well but its not transferproof (idk if its supposed to be) its super cute but more pricey than like other local brands like y.o.u and emina
-𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖 𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙡𝙞𝙥 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙪𝙢 (#2 mist): 5/10
emina is a beginner brand so thats explainable (super affordable tho)
ok thats enough ill like make a part two one day

My summer makeup – what I use and why.
My summer makeup routine is quite simple, mainly because I live in the humidity equivalent of a rice cooker. I deal with high humidity and high temperatures all summer long and most of the time, the makeup is just there to make me feel a little more pulled together. So here’s what I use.
Matte concealer – NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Concealer
Depending on the day, I will or won’t let this concealer with a powder. Some days I don’t and the concealer sets on it’s own beautifully, and some days I do since it’s so moist outside that if I don’t it will just come off my face. A matte concealer works to counteract the sweating and humidity that I deal with. If you are looking to emulate this, I would definitely suggest a thin, matte concealer, that way when you do sweat and if the makeup gets broken up, it’s not in thick layers on your skin. The name of the game is thin layers that don’t weigh down your skin.
Highlight – Tower 28 Beauty SuperDew No Shimmer Highlight
I am not a massive fan of powder highlight unless I’m going to be photographed, so I like having a “wet” highlight. This one doesn’t clog my pores or irritate my skin, so that’s why I pick this one. If I get sweaty, the highlight pulls together the (un)intentional dewy look. You’ve just gotta work with the sweat if you live where I do. This highlight looks the most natural on me while still being noticeable. The name of the game with wet highlights is not being able to feel them once they’re applied.
Mascara – elf cosmetics lash ‘n’ roll mascara
Mascara pulls my looks together for me; if I only want to wear one bit of makeup, it’ll usually be mascara. This one is affordable for me, doesn’t irritate my eyes, and wears well. I haven’t had issues with humidity effecting the mascara beyond drooping the eyelashes. I personally go for a more natural lash look without clumping and with tapered length effects on the lashes.
Shimmer eyeshadow – colourpop shadow palettes
I just like shimmer eyeshadow. I go for chunky almost glittery eyeshadows, which make an illusion of moisturized skin from a distance. This is a way to get a ‘wet’ look without actually having sticky eyelids. I like colourpop (eye)shadow a lot, it’s never irritated my eyes or skin, and it’s affordable for me. I reach for Deja Brew in the summer a lot and Petals en Pointe in the winter. I really like one color all over the lid and blended out and these are good for me to do that. You can use literally any eyeshadow though. I would stress having one that you know doesn’t irritate your eyes so that if any sweat gets into your eyes, you can naturally cry/rinse it out with limited irritation.
Matte Lipstick – merit signature lipstick
Soft matte lips are low maintenance and flattering. I personally don’t wear nude lips or natural-coloured lipsticks since I find my lips to be pigmented enough as they are. I’ll normally wear coloured lips if it’s something like a red. The right soft matte lip will feel like nothing on the lips and wear down better than a balmy formula. It also eliminates any stickiness on your lips that may cling to hair or add more weight to your face when your sweating. The soft matte lip isn’t the 2016 caked on matte lipstick, instead it’s a thin layer of matte lipstick or a thin layer of blotted off satin lipstick. This leaves a barely-there feeling while having pigment on your lips.
Lip Oil / Balm – Merit Shade Slick lip oil / Merit flush balm
If you do want that extra slip on your lips, I would still suggest wearing something lighter than a lip gloss. You totally can if that’s what you’re used to, but I find that lip oils and balms tend to be lighter and less sticky. Shade Slick has no fragrance and very flattering shades while the Flush Balm also has no fragrance and has a comfortable balm slip to it. It’s just whichever you prefer. It totally does not have to be these lips that I mentioned; Burts Bees has a really nice tinted lip balm, the drug store has some great lip oils now, and you can even just get a matte lipstick and layer on a little balm on top for the same look.
Overall, this look is just meant to be a little bit more than nothing. It’s for the days where you do want to wear something, but you don’t want to have to lock it down like drag makeup to keep it in place. An aspect of this routine is that it will wear off, just evenly wearing off. Feel free to take this routine and make it your own with what you prefer/what works best for you, and let me know if there are any summer products you swear by.
Happy travels – Annie, the crosseyed cricket.
