SO charmed by the little throwaway about ✨dragon lord consort esteemed diplomat revaan✨#who picks the vegetables out of his food and hides them under the tablecloth #everything i learn about this man makes me like him more. he was SO dumb.#now we know where malleus gets it from i guess #also unrelated but once again the fact that i named my mc tamago has had unintentional consequences #tamago take the tamago and tamago tamagao tamago #frikkin love that when yuu gives the egg back you can just be like 'i love him. this is my baby now.' 100% accurate.#also yuu continually referring to malleus as tsunotarou even to the senate = amazing. yuu really has NO self-preservation or awareness.#they fit right in with everyone else #<- see what did i tell you. huge rambling mess.#and i haven't even BEGUN to talk about MELEANOR -- (is dragged offstage by a hook)

I’ve been meaning to do redraws from this great post for ages with some of the TWST boys. Doing these reminded me how goofy House of Mouse was in hindsight and true lightning in a bottle

I didn’t draw all of them in the post because I ain’t got time for it sadly. Be glad I didn’t curse y’all with Bald Idia (Baldia? Bidia?), but you do get Jamil’s Funky Dance Moves, what is probably Idia’s worst nightmare and Dire Crowley getting a well deserved slap for…being himself.

I haven't finished listening to the chapters but this family is so damn tragic holy shit.

Malenoire and Levan falling in love and eventually having an egg. Levan having to leave his wife and unhatched child because he was a believer of diplomacy and wanted peace with the other kingdom, but never returning even after years. His wife still believes, no matter how unlikely it is, that he will return, so Lilia tries hard to search for him so Malenoire wouldn't be sad anymore.

But then Malenoire eventually meets her untimely demise and leaves the unfortunate egg behind. This egg would then continue unhatched for hundreds of years, because there isn't any parent who could nurture it with love. Take note that a dragon egg only takes 2-3 years to hatch with constant love, but in Malleus' case he remains dormant for much, much longer.

He's literally been unloved even before he first lived.

It then occured to me, why couldn't have Maleficia helped Malleus hatch faster? She's still a parent, even if she didn't give birth to him herself. But then I realized... Maleficia lost her only daughter. She was probably incapable of showing unconditional love then. Nobody could blame her.

Which leads us to the biggest question in the story. Who was is that gave the egg unconditional parental love and finally helped it hatch?

This rough guy, whom both Malenoire and Levan trusted with all they were.
