I hate that asking for compliments is seen as "rude" or "self-centered". Sometimes people need compliments, and that's okay. The way I see it, asking for compliments is no different than asking for a hug; someone is feeling bad and they need a little pick-me-up. You are never a bad person for asking for compliments.

Aras started the kibble event and when I went to torment the diplos again I found another bear. This one wasn't a great level but those colors.

We got a super-late start because we severely underestimated how much work we had to do before we felt it was safe to leave. Everyone on the Center is packed up, we brought a bunch of tames back to the Island, and everyone there is either also packed up, or left with plenty of food in the troughs. Honestly most of the work was just making sure we had enough cryos (and running out to make more when we were short >.<).

No Ab pics yet but we found our base spot already and got a starter shack up, and we have a pair of bulbdogs, a raptor and moschops, and a pair of iguanodons. Gonna go look for a good stego first thing tomorrow, and there's a 90 doedic in our "yard" that we'll grab if she's still there, too. That should do us for gatherers and we can start building our real base. \o/

being on social media is like wandering through a convention artist alley looking at booths and sometimes i spot a friend and wave and we chat for a moment before going on to continue our individual roaming

being in a discord server is like being in a house party and everyone is talking at the same volume and i can't hear any of them over the music and i'm overstimulated and also at any given time a fight could break out between two people at the party and if i walk outside there's a high chance i'll just go home and forget the party is still going on

as expected, i'm having to add extra scenes to the orchid as i edit; the pacing in the second half is an absolute mess because i was just desperately trying to get the main plot out my brain, so i now have to fix that by adding random extra filler scenes so that nothing happens too quickly. this is taking time.

I am growing addicted to photo mode. XD

Aras started the Higher Max Level event so I went looking for yutis since raising ours has reminded me that they kinda stink. Found this 154 boy who tamed up with 41 health and 53 melee, so I think we're good now. >.>

Went running (well, flapping) through the swamp for a bit after and upgraded our deinosuchus, so we're gonna have to breed them all over again, oops. But we have colors now finally. XD

And I took another ocean trip and found TWO alpha mosas, so Megabyte got a major test. She killed them both no problem, so I think she's proven her worth now. \o/

The best normal mosa I could find was a 110 female, I went ahead and grabbed her but will keep looking for better. And I got her and the boys out at home for a pic, that's Moby with the saddle, Seadragon in the middle, and unnamed New Girl at the end.
