Dragon Dan

Dragon Dan is a cut gameplay mechanic from MediEvil. After drinking the Dragon Potion power-up, Sir Dan would transform into a red dragon. He was repurposed into the Dragon Armour due to taking up too much space in memory. This was because of his unique model, animations and code. And it was the second worst day in his life. (the worst day of his life was also his last) A series of warm-ups that got a little carried away. I uh...haven't drawn comics in like ten years so this was just a fun experiment all around. There's way too many good interpretations of how Sir Daniel Fortesque looked when he wasn't dead already floating about on the Internet but I'm still throwing my hat into the ring! I don't think I've fully "nailed" the design down yet but I'm definitely keeping the terrible facial hair (that he tries to maintain, but poorly) and the "hair that looked like raven's wings (he hasn't brushed in his life)". Don't worry, he gets better at handling a sword in about 100 years.

As someone whose taken quite a few college art history courses, Sir Daniel’s situation in MediEvil 2 is so fascinating to me. He has his own wing in the London Museum including a pedestal displaying his remains and a book recounting the tale of a knight that would rise once more to save the land from evil, so now I gotta wonder...

Just how big of a folklore figure is Sir Daniel Fortesque in this world.

Is Sir Daniel considered a Saint. Was he posthumously made a martyr by the Church. Do oil paintings from the Renaissance and Baroque period represent him with specific types of iconography, the kinds of things that people write entire books about, postulating that “Sir Daniel is commonly depicted with an arrow through the left eye in artwork of the 15th century to represent the perseverance of the holy spirit in the face of Evil” or something. Did he replace Saint George in this world and become a figurehead of Christian mythology. Did Shakespeare write a play about the Ballad of Gallowmere. Was Donatello commissioned to create a marble sculpture of Sir Daniel in Florence. Is the knight in shining armor trope in English literature now based off of the idealized version of Daniel.

...did Disney make a Sir Daniel movie in the 1950′s that later became a backbone of their brand? Could Sir Daniel Fortesque in the modern day (which he does visit in the comics) buy a stuffed animal of a Disney-styled version of himself right before he does that interview with that London historian?

Cassie the rude, nasty, spoilt, greedy, selfish, arrogant, self-absorbed, narcissistic, scheming, cunning, whiny, avaricious, short-tempered, manipulative and loud-mouthed Pink Dragoness from the desolate planetoid Medievilonia 😈 is one of Kairh's most trusted servants and Kudmilla's loyal assistant. She will stop at nothing (not even mud in The Pig's Pen) to locate then obtain most of the remaining Dragons Gold from the basement of The Castle if Heaven aka The Heavenly Castle. She hates Jodie the giant 40 foot Pink Heavenly Whippet due to her being Queen after obtaining most of The Dragon's Treasure, despises Georgette thanks to her successful Ice Cream and Yoghurt business and loathes Queen Kong because of her being much stronger than her. In addition, Cassie is also quite envious of Leila the Big Boar mostly due to her having all the warmth, comfort and the love of her life (Papa Bear) that she will never have. She plots to steal The Dragons Gold, The Heavenly Castle, Georgette's Ice Cream and Yoghurt Co, Queen Kong's massive strength and Papa Bear all for herself usually with the alliance if The Wolf, Coyote, Ferret, Weasel and Raccoon Bandits, Seiya the Dragoness Witch, Spyra the spiteful Purple Dragon, Cyndra the Black Dragoness, her master Kudmilla or sometimes by herself. But her plans almost always backfire due to her own ignorance, often always gets chased away by angry Cows, Pigs, Sheep and Goats before being thrown into a mud pit of The Pig's Pen (much to her disgust) as humiliation then being hurled over one hundred yards away by being butt-bumped by Queen Kong, Georgette, Jodie or Leila into the distance. However, even after every defeat, Cassie is still determined to get what she wants🐻🐮🐷🐕🐲🦝🐗🐶🐄🦍🦆🐘
