Leon: Quietly closes the door and stands guard outside so no one else disturbs them. If he has to leave he puts up a sigh saying "Poetry in session - Do not disturb"

Percival: Quickly backs out of the room apologising the entire time

Gwaine: Asks to join, gets something thrown at him, threatens Arthur to treat Merlin right, and finally leaves while talking about all the people who owe him money thanks to this

Elyan: Calls out "THEY'RE KISSING" while running away from the room

Lancelot: Quietly closes the door and slowly backs away down the hall. As soon as he's too far away for them to hear he's running to find Gwen and tell her everything

If Arthur didn't see Merlin like this he died too soon. I'm pretty sure the pretty boy king would have drooled, gotten a nose bleed, or passed out.

When Kilgharrah said two sides of the same coin he actually meant that there would be one brain cell shared between the two of them.

Cue in Arthur, who goes feral over his attempt to find out who left Merlin a hickey!!!

Had the idea that when visiting nobles meet Merlin for the first time they assume Merlin is the court jester. They hear this little peasent boy call the Prince/King "a useless clotpole with a waist bigger than his brain" and when no one does anything for the treason they just assume he's their buffoon.

You're threatened with a flirt, you doofus. Look carefully at how Arthur turns the spoon with his fingers in the later moment, it's playful... while he started with a hostile movement (back&forth like a knife stab) it all ends as subtext micro-movement.

Arthur pulls Merlin aside.

Arthur: *takes a deep breath* Merlin...

Merlin: *confused* No, I’m not.

Arthur: Are you going to buy me a bottle of champagne?

Merlin: *Extremely confused* I don’t intend to.

Arthur: Are you planning to take me out to dinner?

Merlin: No, why?

Arthur: Because you’re trying to fuck me, Merlin! What’s your damn problem? What kind of idiot declares himself a sorcerer in front of the damn king! *smacks Merlin on the head*
