MARIE TAKAHASHI AND JD ZAZIE PLAY DUO AT PAS

2022/05/22 KARM NIKI MATITA MARIE TAKAHASHI / JD ZAZIE Petersburg Art Space Berlin - DE

On Sunday 22nd May Marie Takahashi and JD Zazie will play duo for the first time. They will play at PAS sharing the bill with Niki Matita and with Karm.

The Czech-German duo Karm, Michal Wróblewski (alto sax & clarinet) from Prague and Berlin-based Torsten Papenheim (acoustic guitar & objects), will start its tour at PAS and then it will continue it in Germany, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Sound artist, record entertainer and curator Niki Matita will present her special solo set using modular synths and obsolete devices. Also performing that night is a wonderful duo featuring Marie Takahashi and JD Zazie.

Concerts start at 20 ! Petersburg Art Space Kaiserin Augusta-Allee 101 Courtyard, Aufgang II, 1.OG.

En internasjonal kvartett på Pøkk denne gangen, og uvanlig elektrisk til denne scena å være. De minna meg faktisk litt om min aller første Pøkk-opplevelse – den første releasekonserten med Krokofant. Der Krokofant lener seg mot rocken og drivende rytmikk heller KIAP mer mot jazzmåten å gjøre ting på. Litt mer utfordrende, og mindre “radiovennlig” om det går an å si det sånn.
