it's weird. maybe it's because i've never seen total drama promo before but the voiceover is so weird. it's definitely cool to get more of an insight into the characters tho! like the scene with priya was interesting because from her design you wouldn't think she'd be so assertive. idk if assertive is the word. but u kno what i mean

scary girl was about as i expected. i'm curious to see how they'll make her different to izzy though because she's coming across as quite izzy atm, just less hyperactive

unexpectedly im shipping julia and nichelle now. i never had any thoughts about a dynamic between them, unlike the rest of the fandom lmao, but im now imagining julia constantly trying to befriend nichelle and nichelle slowly warming up to her over the course of the show. probably wont happen tho :/

still reeling over finding out that the death in dimensional doors wasn't planned. like in general we were aware of 100dmv using bullshit deaths as a chance to drop lore tidbits, but. we'd always assumed that the death in dimdoors specifically was pre-planned -- that situation should have been literally impossible on so many different levels because of the way the mod is supposed to function

Hi! how did you make that Reisen art doll? it looks so good! what paint did you use for their face and did you use some kindof sealant to protect the paint?

I can give you a quick rundown of how I made her if u want!

So she's a hybrid of 2 dolls: Ever After High for the body, and I think a Disney Decendants head. First i carved away the face and put a slab of apoxie sculpt on top to make a cute smooth anime face (I sculpted the nose as well) Then I simply matched her skin tone and painted her with acrylics :-) As for sealant, I used watered down mod podge 👍 For her hair I made yarn wefts, using a few different methods from different youtubers to make her have long hair. The clothes are hand sewn/glued, they're just made from whatever fabric I had on hand and I bought some cheap ones as well. Her tail is just a little piece of faux fabric I rolled into a ball lol. There's also wire in her ears to make them poseable, and her buttons + moon were made from sculpy clay.

As for sealants, I wouldn't really recommend my method 😅 the mod podge sometimes ends up looking glossy and I'm not a fan, a few of my other dolls have zero sealant on their faces (which I do not recommend either! Wadda has a chip on her face 😭) But for the most part I just leave them on my shelf so they don't really get messed with all that often.
