What is an aspect of your muse that you’ve wanted to explore the most? [[ Jerry, Ania, Carrion ]]

I'd like to explore his personal growth and growing confidence after all these seasons. But I still haven't really caught up on Season 7 yet tbh, so I am a bit hesitant about growth and general plot topics as long as I haven't seen these episodes. But adventures and challenges outside the family are always a potential aspect I'd like to explore too.

Honestly, it's very difficult for me here to confidently say which aspect I would like to explore most on her because I haven't really written her actively since she had her own blog. Most of all, I would just like the opportunity to actually flesh out her story and personality more through different interactions, really. But also, her explorer aspect is probably what's easiest to delve into for starters?

Well, I would love to explore the post-game scenario in depth with Carrion escaping the laboratory in the appearance of a human scientist and unleashing its hunger on the world. And I'm not just talking about îts hunger for food, but also knowledge. Now that it is no longer just a primitive red blob and actually in possession of knowledge from the lab, it would be interesting to see where it decides to go while maybe searching for a purpose for itself.

Name one idea for a plot you’ve had but never gotten around to writing.

Pointing at my reply on Carrion, I guess? I have had so many different ideas and I sent so many things around in the past when I still had single muse blogs, but nothing went anywhere ever. And now I am just hesitant about thinking actively of any specific plots I wanna do, because eh. I immediately think 'it's probably shit no one wanna do anyway'. Nowadays I'm also just so empty-headed about plots and plotting.

I really love watching Jerry on talk shows. He seemed to thrive in environments where his intelligence and intellectualism could be shown. I'm thinking specifically of his appearance on the Dick Cavett Show in 1973. Of course he still goofs around and makes jokes, but you can tell how much he genuinely loves his craft and what he does. He's also very clearly proud of the class on directing he taught at USC. It's easy to tell that general audiences didn't take him seriously because they viewed him as nothing other than a clown. For instance, when he appeared on Johnny Carson in 1984, he makes a passing remark that people weren't happy he mostly played it straight the previous time he was on.

Again on the Cavett show, he talks about how he doesn't like when people invite him to parties because they expect him to perform and be a jester. Rather, he wants to be invited because he's a man, a peer, and an equal. I think it really speaks to how much the general public reduces stars to one-dimensional caricatures (particularly when it comes to comedians whom have reached Jerry's level of fame). His filmography is worthy of serious artistic appreciation. Not solely because of the humor, but because they serve as a testament to an auteur who took pride in directing, writing, producing, and starring in his films. "The total filmmaker" is the perfect descriptor for him.

“This trip was my first time meeting them. My best friend in high school was in a band and they practiced at NAF [warehouse]. Doc [Dean Hoffner] asked him if he knew anyone who had a truck who would be willing to haul their camping gear, and it turns out that I was the lucky one! I loved their music, so I wasn’t about to turn it down. Anyways, this trip was with two of my friends, one who left before the pictures were taken. Jerry, Layne, Demri and Doc were there. Mike and Sean never showed up. I have more pictures that I still have to find, but these are what I have at the moment.

I only have the one of Jerry because he didn’t want his picture taken. Jerry played guitar and sang Brother and Right Turn from SAP before it was recorded and released. I feel blessed to have had that experience!

To be honest, for meeting her [Demri] for the first time, she made me feel like I’ve known her forever! She wasn’t shy, and was super cool! Her and Layne both. You could tell they were in love and were super happy! Jerry was cool as well, but didn’t really talk to us as much as Layne and Demri. Those two actually took an interest in me and my friends: where are you from, what do you do, etc. Jerry was more reserved, and I was surprised that he would play and sing around the campfire.”

As troublesome as Gotham can be, Pauli's is one of those places that rarely gets hit. It's open 24/7 and offers good food to all regardless of who they are and Pauli isn't afraid to hire former criminals like Jerry who used to be muscle for Scarface. Petty thugs who threaten the place for cash are just as likely to receive backlash from their fellow crooks as they would from law-abiding citizens because where else are you going to get a decent meal at 4am?

Anxiety is your middle name. You need to check in with other people or beliefs when you take a step because the world is dark and you are so small, so fragile, and you've been hurt so many times before. You were bullied or hurt before, by people you trusted or people you loved, and despite all that you find yourself stumbling into other people, into bandaged trust because all you want is to be secure, loved, safe, supported. But maybe instead you long to be loved, long to find solace in the arms of someone else but can't bare to draw near enough to anyone long enough to feel safe and ache, ache, ache for company. The world is dark and you're so lonely it hurts sharper than any wound. How can you trust when it's all be shattered so many times before? How do you trust yourself when you've let so many in? You are a thousand contradictions, a thousand bits and pieces picked up along the way and maybe even this doesn't sound right, maybe nothing sounds right. You are so lonely and so afraid and you just want to be safe. Secure. Loved. You're so tired of being afraid.

JERRY is standing in his kitchen, holding a tube of pink lip gloss. He is peering at himself in his reflection on the refrigerator door, attempting to apply it.

KRAMER bursts into the apartment, slamming the door open and startling JERRY.]
