—The Disappearance of Asha Degree
On 2000 Valentine's day, 9 years old Asha walked out of her house willingly during a massive storm in the middle of the night. She was sighted many times walking down an extremely desolate and agrestic highway in the pouring rain. Afterward, she ran into the woods and was never seen again.
FBI reports claimed that there were no signs or indications of forced entry about where she went. After a year her book bag was discovered a miles away buried in a litter bag. Why a 9-year-old girl was convinced to leave her home alone in the middle of a stormy night? How has there been no substantial evidence at all? Till now, this is a mysterious & unexplained scenario.
__The Shocking Mystery of the Mary Celeste
On December 4, 1872, a British-American ship known as the “Mary Celeste” was found drifting and empty in the Atlantic City. According to Smithsonian Mag, the cargo of the ship was still undamaged, the belongings of the travelers were safe and the food was present on board. The ship’s bottom was accumulated with water and was still seaworthy. The lifeboat was the only missing thing in the ship, which it seemed had been embarked in an orderly way. This is one of the major strange unexplained mysteries of all time and no one got the answer to what incident happened to the people that forced them to leave the ship.
__The Dog’s Suicide Bridge
The Overtoun Bridge in Scotland is also called “Dog Suicide Bridge”. According to the report from VICE, 600 dogs have jumped off this 50-foot bridge yet survived, while 50 have perished since 1950. The survivors returned and tried to jump again. There are several scientific and paranormal theories as to what forces the dog to do this. Some state the bridge is hunted, while others believe that there may be a specific scent that attracts the dogs over the edge.
___Unresolvable Victim of Oklahoma City Bombing
In 1990, after the bombing in Oklahoma City, they found an extra leg in the wreckage. DNA reports claimed that it belonged to a victim who had been buried already but apparently with the left leg. The wrong leg was already buried therefore they didn't get its DNA but it turns out that the state did have its genetic record after all. All additional legs were matched to their victims, and they found no reported missing body parts or anything except that leg. So, who did that leg belong to? Still account for unexplained mysteries.
__ Who Were the Green Children?
The occurrence of green children in Woolpit is the most interesting, mysterious unexplained phenomenon of the 12th century. Reportedly, two kids with green appearance were found in Wolprit (a village in Suffolk) England. They had green skin, spoke an unknown language, and eat raw broad beans. Afterward, they began eating other foods and lost their green color but the boy got sick and died. The girl survived and learned English speaking. Later on, she explained that she and her brother belonged to a land where the sun never rose. According to some claims, everything was green there, while others called it Saint Martin's Land.

I saw a post once talking about a bingqiu scott pilgrim au where LBH had to fight all of SQQ's suitors, which is a cool concept and all, but have you considered the comedic potential and insanity of a bingyuan Scott pilgrim au where SY has to defeat LITERALLY HUNDREDS of bingge's exes??

I like hotels, I like how fucked up most of them are. There isn’t a single hotel I’ve been in that doesn’t have something Wrong(tm) with them - whether it’s the shower head suddenly falling off while you’re having a bath, or mysterious stairs that lead to nowhere, or the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night for five seconds, or an unexplained door in your room that seems to lead to another room that noone occupies… there’s always something.
You’d think chain hotels have their eldritch nature better under control than small ones but no: some are worse, some of them have floors that are abandoned for whatever reason long forgotten because the staff doesn’t stay on long enough for anyone to remember
Anyways the hotel I’m in has three whole floors that are inaccessible (I tried using the stairs to see if there was any entrance but no) and I wanna know why

The Eerie Disappearance of Frederick Valentich
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On October 21st, 1978, a 20-year-old Australian pilot named Frederick Valentich made his last contact with air traffic control before disappearing from the earth without a trace. At the time, he was flying a light aircraft 125 miles over Bass Strait; a passage of water which separates the island state Tasmania from the Australian mainland.
Almost fifty years have since passed and there is still no certain explanation of what happened to Frederick. This case is considered one of the most eerie unsolved disappearances due to Frederick's bizarre last known moments. During his flight, he made contact with air traffic control and reported that he was being followed by an unknown aircraft, which was flying approximately 1,000 feet above him. He described the object as being shiny with green lights and long-shaped, then shortly afterwards reported that his engine was malfunctioning. His final transmission was a cryptic and chilling message: "It's not an aircraft."
Communication was lost and neither Frederick Valentich nor his small aircraft were ever found. Extra-terrestrial activity has often been discussed as the cause of his disappearance, although the Department of Transport has maintained a sceptical view when it comes to UFO theories. They instead suggested that Valentich must have become disorientated and began flying upside down, and what he actually saw was his own aircraft lights reflected in the water below.

Strange Animal-Human Hybrids
1. Human-Chimpanzee Hybrids ("Humanzees"): There exist rumors and urban legends of supposed human/chimpanzee hybrids. Although humans and chimpanzees share a significant amount of genetic material, no evidence of such a hybrid exists, and scientists doubt it is possible.
2. Mysterious Pregnant Stingray: There was a case of a mysteriously pregnant stingray named Charlotte, who lived at an aquarium in Hendersonville, North Carolina. She was found to be carrying up to four pups, despite not sharing her enclosure with any other ray. Instead, Charlotte was accompanied by two male sharks, prompting speculation about possible shark-stingray hybrid babies. However, scientists say a shark couldn't breed with a stingray—their anatomies are completely different. In the case of Charlotte, her pregnancy can most likely be explained by parthenogenesis, a type of asexual reproduction akin to cloning that's performed by some fish, reptiles, and birds.
3. **Narlugas**: An Inuit subsistence hunter captured a strange-looking whale in Greenland in the 1980s. The puzzling bone didn’t precisely resemble any known cetacean—its teeth were spiraling in odd directions, and along its top jaw were tiny “tusks” that stuck out almost horizontally. This creature, along with two others that looked like it, with solid gray skin, narwhal-like tails, and beluga-like flippers, were killed. This creature is believed to be a cross between a narwhal and a beluga whale.
It's important to note that while these cases are intriguing, they are often based on speculation and lack concrete scientific evidence. The creation of animal-human hybrids in a lab setting is a complex process subject to strict ethical guidelines¹.
