NCIS: Los Angeles S11E22 - Code of Conduct
In the 22nd and final episode of the 11th season of NCIS: Los Angeles, the team  investigate an extremely sensitive case when two navy seals reveal their chief officer has committed war crimes.
Although this wasn’t the original intended finale for the season, this was definitely a great ending and was no doubt one of the most intense episodes I’ve ever seen. This episode was in full on serious mode as team took this as one of their most important, intense and personal cases yet, especially for our dear, Sam Hanna. Being a former navy seal himself, Sam took it more personally than anyone else on the team and pretty much lead the entire investigation. This case was no laughing matter as two navy seals have come forward to reveal their chief is not the hero everyone believes him to be, revealing how he killed an unarmed prisoner and has even killed innocent civilians. Sam and Callen along with Devin Roundtree traveled to Afghanistan to talk with the rest of their team while Kensi and Deeks remained behind and worked together with Sarah MacKenzie to get the full details from the navy seals. However, the investigation had its difficulties in the form of higher ups and other politicians who wanted to end the investigation before it even started. What’s worse, Sam, Callen, Roundtree and Wallace were quickly captured thanks to Roundtree. Man, first he almost gets himself blown up and now this.
This episode had no easy moments as pretty much throughout the whole hour had me on the edge of my seat, almost since the very start and the episode only grew more intense. The most intense moment of the entire episode is when the team learned exactly the whole story regarding Argento’s actions and we see it all through flashbacks and it was quite gruesome. I really feel for those seals who came forward. They were scared and feared for their lives, knowing what Argento was capable of, but were still so brave and couldn’t remain silent any longer and in the end they simply had to do what was right. I also loved the moments with Kensi, Deeks and Mac. They were all great together and it’s nice we finally got to see Deeks and Kensi working together again. Although I love Fatima and her friendship with Kensi, I will always prefer the partnership between our dear Densi. Anyway, the situation looked even worse when Agrento managed to track down Callen, Sam and the others and was willing to even kill Sam to ensure his silence. Thankfully, the rest of the navy seals followed their comrades lead and finally stood up and stopped Argento and witnessed his arrest. My favourite moment was watching all the seals as their signed their statement and said their oaths. It was a wonderful sight. Justice Has Once Again Been Served. Plus even better, Sam and Callen have officially made an offer for Devin Roundtree to become an official member of the NCIS LA team. I knew it was going to happen sooner or later and though he needs more time to think about, I think it’s a pretty safe bet we know who will be Fatima’s partner when the show returns for season 12.
Overall, this was a great season finale for NCIS: Los Angeles 11th season and as of today all of the NCIS shows have officially ended their current seasons. I can’t to see them all return and I’m looking forward to seeing all the action, excitement, drama, humour and heart continue in season 12 and with so much more still yet to come. Nell’s return, Roundtree’s decision, Kayta’s return, Densi get pregnant and more moments for Callanna and Sam and Katherine. Looking forward to season 12.

NCISLA: S11 NERIC/ERIC BEALE RELATED SPOILER
NCIS: LA S11 ERIC BEALE/BARRET FOA RELATED CASTING/STORY ARC (STORYLINE) SPOILER
SPOILERS AHEAD, BEWARE!
                   ----------------------------------------------------------------
Barrett Foa taking temporary leave of absence — Find out what this means for Eric Beale
NCIS: Los Angeles is sending Eric on a high-risk adventure in order to accommodate portrayer Barrett Foa‘s temporary exit. The CBS procedural is writing Foa out of five of Season 11’s first six episodes to allow the actor to pursue another professional opportunity. (Foa is set to star in a production of Angels in America at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis this fall.)
A CBS rep confirms Foa’s five-episode leave of absence, and teases that Eric’s mysterious whereabouts will be woven into the Season 11 narrative. Specifically, viewers will learn that Hetty (Linda Hunt) has assigned Eric to work a clandestine case with an outside company. When Eric resurfaces on screen later this fall, the veiled specifics of his mission will come to light. And — as per NCIS: LA tradition — the situation will take a dangerous turn and Eric will need to rely on the team to survive.
At the end of Season 10, Foa’s Eric fled to San Francisco to be by the side of girlfriend Nell (Renée Felice Smith), who was tending to her ailing mother.
NCIS: LA returns with its 11th season on Sunday, Sept. 29th on CBS.
                      -------------------------------------------------------
My comment. I was “afraid” of something like this when he (Barrett) posted about being cast in this (his dream) play. Yet I am glad that we know about the story arc and the length of it beforehand. This is a similar situation to what they did with Dani...both times she was on maternity leave, and in a few other cases. Send the character on some secret mission...to explain their absence...to accommodate the actors unavailability.

NCIS: Los Angeles S11E20 - Knock Down
In the 20th episode of the 11th season of NCIS: Los Angeles, the team investigate an arson case at an FBI safe house.
This was an enjoyable episode and as the NCIS LA team took names and kicked ass, but things were a little different than they normally were. First off was the absence of Nell. Since her decision to take a break from the team to figure out what she wants to do with her life, Deeks took it upon himself to try and get Eric to open about how he feels since he was benched due to a toe injury, courtesy of his wife. Surprisingly, Eric didn’t seem that upset or bothered by Nell’s decision and was rather unnerved and a little annoyed by Deeks trying to get him to open up. Eventually though, Deeks did managed to through to Eric and they shared a sweet bro-hug moment at the end of the episode. I swear, they have the weirdest and funniest friendship on the show. Plus, I can’t believe Beale is friends with Kevin Systrom. Aside from Deeks and Beale, Callen and Sam were also having some communication issues as Callen tried to up open about his staycation with Anna and surprisingly, Sam wasn’t that interested. However, it turns out, Sam isn’t interested because he has other things on his mind... Katherine. She’s back and she and Sam have become a LOT closer. I really like these two together. Sam is finally finding love again and that makes me happy for him.
In regards to the case of the week, it was a very exciting, but also a little confusing case where the team were, by orders of the DOJ, assisting the FBI when two of their safe houses were attacked, one by fire and another by brute force as they were protecting an activist seeking asylum. I gotta say the funniest moments were with Agent Rush. I really enjoyed her character and her interactions with Kensi and Fatima were really funny as they were a little uneasy as they watched her new life as a mother, specifically her pumping moment. Plus I LOVED that moment where they watched as she was being chewed out by her jerk of a boss. They just couldn’t look away and Fatima even wanted popcorn. However, I really liked that one special moment when Kensi and Agent Rush about motherhood since Kensi definitely wants to become a mother herself and finally get pregnant. Sadly that’s a story for another day. By the end of the case however, turns out the mysterious fires had nothing to do with the FBI or activist and were simply that of an arson while the bad guys were caught and ass was kicked.
Overall, this was a good episode. It had a lot of laughs, action, mystery and some sweet moments. Now we are down to the final countdown as there are only two remaining episodes left of the season. I wonder what they will be like?

“The Big Bang Theory,” “Elementary,” “Fam,” “Happy Together,” “Life in Pieces,” “Murphy Brown,” “Salvation”
Returning Series:
NCIS, s17, NCIS: LA, s11, and NCIS: NOLA, s6
Criminal Minds, s15 and final
Blue Bloods, s10
Hawaii Five-O, s10, and MacGyver, s4
Mom, s7
Madam Secretary, s6 and final (with 10 episodes)
Bull, s4
Man with a Plan, s4
Young Sheldon, s3
SEAL Team and S.W.A.T., s3
sophomores: FBI, Magnum P.I., God Friended Me, and The Neighborhood
Cancelled:
The Big Bang Theory is finishing it’s run as planned after 12 seasons, and the same for Elementary after 7 seasons
Life in Pieces after four seasons
Freshmeat: Fam, Happy Together, Murphy Brown (sorta)
???
The Code started late, but is likely in the freshmeat category
Ransom- this one is on the Canadian producers- if they keep making it, CBS will likely keep airing it on Saturdays, with no effect on the rest of the schedule
Instinct, which hasn’t yet aired its second season, seems relegated to the spring at this point
Here are Primetimer’s upfront preview and fantasy schedule
first off, CBS’ rejections this seasons are the ones I was most disappointed by- Republic of Sarah and Under the Bridge both appealed personally, as did comedy To Whom It May Concern... alas, they didn’t go to series, but I am really looking forward to All Rise and Tommy
Primetimer recommended airing All Rise and Bull back-to-back, but that seems a bit too much courtroom drama for our taste, so how about FBI on Mondays at 10, with FBI: Most Wanted on Tuesdays at 9 followed by Bull at 10?
Evil will definitely need a 10 o’clock timeslot, and to share slots with Criminal Minds, which veers into its own sort of horror, definitely makes sense
Thursdays and Fridays seem perfect, but for Sunday, we’d say NCIS: New Orleans before NCIS: Los Angeles for a more gradual tone shift (and it moves from east to west: NYC, NOLA, LA)
Madam Secretary and Tommy together in the spring for Sundays is an ideal match- which makes it all the more shame that neither Republic of Sarah or Under the Bridge got picked up to go with them
Man with a Plan and The Unicorn would also go well together, and could be interchanged with the Neighborhood and Bob <3 Abishola pairing recommended

NCIS: Los Angeles S11E16 - Alsiyadun
In the 16th episode of the 11th season of NCIS: Los Angeles, the team works desperately to find and rescue Fatima after she is captured during a mission gone wrong.
This was a good episode and a great way to officially include Fatima into the main cast. I’ve always liked Fatima and I’m excited to finally see that as of this episode she is now an official member of the NCIS LA team. This episode really showed how much Fatima has grown on everyone and how much they care about her, seeing all the lengths they went to find and rescue her. Fatima herself impressed me even more in this episode. Despite all the difficult situation she was in, she never stopped being the badass character that she is. With every episode she appears, I like her more and more. I also enjoyed getting to see more of Hetty in this episode. The amount of screen time she had in this episode really reminded me of the good old days during the shows past seasons. I hope as of this episode, Hetty is finally back for good and will continue making more and more appearances cause I really have missed seeing her. Aside from Hetty, as always it was great to see Sabatino again and I loved how he kept making jokes about Callen and Sam trying to kill him and referring Densi to Lady and the Tramp. He is now the second person to call them that, the first person being Sam himself I think just shortly before they officially became a couple during the 6th season. I always enjoy watching the team working with Sabatino since he is more funny and lighthearted compared to Callen’s ex, Joelle. However, I’m surprised that he didn’t give info regarding his wedding ring that I think it’s safe to say we ALL NOTICED. I bet he’s still pouting about not being invited to Deeks and Kensi’s wedding last year.
Speaking of Densi, I enjoyed all the moments Deeks and Kensi had in this episode and my favourite moment of all was their discussion about their own future children and particularly what careers they will choose in the future. I think it’s safe to say that everyone got a good amount of equal screen time in this episode which is exactly what I want. I also really liked Qadri. Although I wish we could have seen more of him. The way this episode promoted him, it seemed like he was going to have a much bigger role, but he was still fun to watch. I also enjoyed how he kinda got under Sam and Callen’s skin, but that’s the CIA for you, they always find ways to surprise us. I liked how we got to meet Fatima’s parents too. It was a nice and I thought it was really sweet of Deeks to reassure her parents and expressed how Fatima is greatly loved and cared for by the rest of the team. Deeks is sweet as always. In the end, thanks to Qadri and teamwork, Fatima was rescued and she got the chance to call her parents and let them know she is alright. I will admit though I was a little surprised by the ending. I kinda expected Callen and Sam to return to LA with Fatima and reunite with the rest of the team and Hetty would formally ask her to join the team. Although it didn’t happened the way I imagined, it was still a good ending nonetheless.
Overall, this was a good episode and a great way to officially make Fatima the newest main cast member. No doubt she will make us proud. I’m going to enjoy seeing more of her to come and I can’t wait to see if the next episode will include an updated intro. Plus I can’t wait to see the return of Lance Hamiliton and see Kensi’s new hairdo. I get the feeling we are in for an exciting episode next week.

NCIS: Los Angeles S11E15 - The Circle
In the 15th episode of the 11th season of NCIS: Los Angeles, Callen finds himself at long last reunited with Anna Kolcheck, but not under the best circumstances when he learns his life maybe in danger from the last surviving member of the infamous Comescu family.
This was a great episode, mainly because of the return of 2 of my favourite characters, Hetty Lange and Anna Kolcheck and of course the focus on Callen and Anna’s relationship. There isn’t a doubt in my mind that this was definitely one of the best episodes of the 11th season as this episode provided us with history into Callen’s past, closure on his romance with Anna and an insight on the team’s future. First, Callen and Sam are starting to look for potential agents to recruit, wanting to make the team better than ever before as they previously discussed in the winter finale last year. The only problem though... they can’t agree on the agents.  The discussion continues at the Squid and Dagger and I have to say I’m actually really glad that business at Deeks’ bar is doing well. They even have a manager, but seriously though where did they come up with that name?! Anyway, Callen discusses with Kensi and Deeks about his and Sam’s plan to recruit new agents as well as when he will officially take over Hetty’s job, but also... Anna’s whereabouts. Densi have finally been included on Callen’s mission to find her when Deeks let’s it slip. Sadly, Callen has run out of leads and has had no luck in finding her.
However, like the old saying goes, speak of the devil and she shall appear as later at the bar, Callen is finally reunited with Anna when she reveals herself before him, only to tell him his life maybe in danger. They immediately get down to business and soon Callen learns the cases he’s been following to locate Anna have a startling connection to someone he never thought he would see again... Darius Reznikov Comescu, aka the last surviving member of the criminal family who killed Callen’s mother. It was tough to see Callen in such a state as only god knows what must have been going through his mind. First he deals with the return of his ex for which he wants to make things right, but also learns Darius is alive and might be trying to finish what his family started. Callen sure has a lot on his plate. However, as the episode progressed turns out things aren’t always as they seem as while Darius did kill those people, he was doing so to track down his lost love, Mina who was kidnapped in a sex tracking ring, leading to the group’s main case of the week. Thankfully, Mina and all the girls were saved and Darius was reunited with his loved one and now has the chance to live a normal life. Aside from the case, it was great to see Anna again and I loved her reunions with everyone on the team. I felt bad that things were a little icy between her and Callen, but I’m glad they patched things and best of all, Callen and Anna’s relationship is back on track as they are FINALLY Back Together. It’s About Time. Although they maybe back together, things are still gonna be tricky since Anna is still a wanted fugitive in the US, but knowing the team, there’s always a way.
As for the other NCIS LA romances, Deeks and Kensi didn’t really have many moments in the episode since the main focus of course was on Callen and Anna, but we still got a lot of sweet moments, the first being a mention of Densi’s Wedding. Anna felt bad she missed the wedding, thankfully she isn’t alone as several other recurring characters also missed it including, Talia Del Campo and Sabatino. Aside from the wedding mention, towards the end of the episode when Kensi found herself nearly caught in fire while rescuing a young girl it really reminded of what happened between her and Deeks in Mother last year. Finally, last but certainly not least, Kensi was seen wearing both her Wedding & Engagement Ring. It’s honestly a real pleasure getting to see her wearing the rings as we only get to see it very rarely. Sadly though, the same thing can’t for be said for her husband as we didn’t get to see Deeks flash his ring. Still though, I really enjoyed the Densi moments this week, but aside from our main couple, Sam is also doing well in the romance department as he had another dinner with our dear, Katherine Casillas.
Overall, this was a great episode where the blood feud between Callen and the Comescu’s is finally over once and for all and love prevailed not only for Callen and Anna, but even his foe, Darius and Mina. All’s well that ends well and now we can all look forward to seeing the team rescuing our dear Fatima and watch as she officially becomes the newest member of the OSP Team next week as she joins the main cast.

NCIS: Los Angeles S11E19 - Fortune Favors the Brave
In the 19th episode of the 11th season of NCIS: Los Angeles, the team work with Agent Devin Roundtree for a day when he considers joining NCIS while Nell makes a life changing decision about her future.
This was quite the episode and even after watching the sneak peeks I still wasn’t quite prepared for what this episode had in store for us, specially regarding our dear, Nell Jones. It’s hard to imagine the NCIS LA office without her in it. For a long time now we all knew Nell has been having a rough time I’d say ever since she found out her mom with sick last season. However, slowly yet surely, things with Nell have been slowly getting worse as the season progressed, we just didn’t realise how bad until this episode where Nell basically declares she has finally burned out. For a long time we have all been worried that a cast member maybe leaving, the prime suspects being Densi or Hetty, but instead this maybe the last we see of Penelope Jones. The scenes with Nell confiding in Kensi and Hetty were so emotional and soooo Sad. Kensi was really sad to hear how Nell has been struggling and is trying to reassure her as best she can. I love seeing Kensi in big sister mode. Hetty was as understanding as always and the moment between her and Nell also in a way served as a reconciliation of sorts between these two since their relationship has been rather strained since Eric’s secret mission from last year. I’m glad they have finally and truly mended fences and Hetty offers to give Nell time off before she makes a final decision. I still can believe it though that Nell might actually be leaving for good. Hopefully though it might be just the writers toying with us, but in the end no matter what Nell decides, she will always be a beloved and important member of the team just as Hetty said.
In the meantime, Callen was mostly absent in this episode since he was on vacation with Anna. Again I Am SOO Happy Callanna Are Back Together. They are my second favourite couple on NCIS LA after Densi. Speaking of which, we didn’t get many moments between them aside from a little encouragement scene. I was hoping for a more worried Kensi, considering the fact she almost lost her husband in a bomb from last year. Aside from Callanna and Densi, I think I spy a new potential couple in the future... Fatima and Devin. I can already see the spark between these two and they already look so cute together. I would love to see more of Agent Roundtree and I hope he becomes a main cast member and joins the team. He is already a good fit. Plus that scene with him and Sam was epic. I loved it. Plus I enjoyed Deeks and Devin’s scenes together and I feel bad for Deeks. It wasn’t his fault for what happened. In the end it was nice to see everyone together, hanging at the Squid and Dagger. I’m looking forward to seeing this new team dynamic in the future.
Overall, this was a great episode, but we must prepare and brace ourselves, not only could this be one of Nell’s last appearances, but the season will be ending sooner due to the early wrap because of the coronavirus, so enjoy these last episodes while we have them.
