This is for the Pirate AU made by me and my best friend @moondawolf

I’m mostly doing character design before sharing actual plot. Once everything is fleshed out i think we can start sharing storylines.

And then some close ups and a initial sketch.

((Apparently I never posted the reference sheet for Civil Unrest here on Tumblr, so if you were confused about this new character I had never mentioned before, that's why.))

Civil Unrest is Necromancer who wants to use her powers to improve the country she lives in, (even though since The One World Government has taken over all countries borders are completely open and all actual sense of patriotism or pride in where your from seems to be less and less of a normal thing. *She's not a nationalist.* Civil Unrest does know that yes America isn't perfect, and that it can do better in so many ways, but she believes in the promise of what I could have stood for. Civil Unrest believes in not just equality, but universal equity, where everyone's situations and circumstances are taken into account to find fair solutions for everyone. As a necromancer, she is often seen as a PR nightmare, and people will avoid her because they find the practice disturbing. Civil Unrest can even return the souls of some small animals to them. She has a reanimated dog named Roadie. at home she kept after she saw a boy crying over his dog who was hit by a car and tried to make things better with her power. ((It did not, and the family filed a restraining order, and yes, she named him after how he died)). Most people actually don't like her and are unsure of why she is even trying to be a hero. Most people see her powers as just a curse and that maybe she shouldn't even need them. Civil Unrest's father was a US Marine and helped her make her scythe before he passed away of old age. He told her to make him and America proud. Civil Unrest wants nothing more than to be accepted as the hero she wants to be so she trys her best to handle situations using more practical skills like parkour and her scythe, before having to resort to undead, and thinks if she can catch a Villian herself maybe she can prove to the people of the simulation that's she isn't as "problematic" as everyone says and truly just want to be good, do good, and help people. Oftentimes you can even hear her trying to convince people she is not a necromancer and that her powers are healing abilities similar to that of Ambulance Chaser's, no one buys it though. Civil Unrest never graduated high school or attended college and honestly doesn't really know how to critically think of with the future in mind, so she acts on instincts, tuition, and guts, which unfortunately means she isnt the hardest to outsmart. She let plenty of villains get away by accident but knows she'll catch one and be seen as a true hero any day now...
