Nicki dated Lestat for years as a human! Imagine dating Lestat (the most annoying man in the world) in a world without ibuprofen? With no vampire wealth or vampire mystique/bond or addiction to his blood to cushion the blow. And all he's bringing to the table is boundless optimism, the bravado of having killed wolves with a sword, subpart dick & ass, and terminal mommy and daddy issues that would frighten Freud. I don’t know about y’all but he is EXACTLY how I imagined Nicholas. He has a kind of cynical air about him that I always associated Nikki with, but also a sweet disposition. I’m just- ugh I’m obsessed.

So I met Joseph last night!

God I love living in London! I got cheap last minute tickets to a one-off charity performance he and other young actors were doing in Marylebone.

Here's my report:

He's adorable! His hair is so thick and curly it kept falling in his eyes and he kept having to brush it back. He was wearing the earring and a loose black shirt over a white vest.

Fantastic energy on stage. Such an expressive face and a real sense of vibrant emotion buzzing beneath the surface. We couldn't take our eyes off him!

When we met him outside the theatre afterwards he turned out to be an absolute DARLING! He was so shocked we were IWTV fans - He was NOT expexting that!!! He kept giving us happy hugs 🥲

When we asked for an autograph he was so surprised! I asked him to sign my book that's also signed by Anne Rice and he said "Oh NO WAY!!!" when he saw her signature. He was so shocked we were interested in him 🥺

I told him of the outpouring of love and welcoming sentiment for him amongst fans and he was so surprised and touched.

All in all, he seems like such a sweet guy. I'm so happy for him and this new adventure he's embarking on in his career with the show. 🤞🏻 Hoping and praying for season 3!

You know both Lestat and Louis have such a type. Lestat goes from his melancholic unstable Nicholas to depressed self-destructive Louis. And Louis leaves unhinged needs to be the center of attention bastard Lestat to run right into the arms of Armand who is an amped up version with significantly less human life experience and 50 times the trauma. Congratulations, you both learned nothing.

It’s the funniest thing when I’m looking at fanart and it’s a pic of Lestat and a sad but beautiful dark haired man and you have no way of knowing if it’s Louis or Nicholas because Lestat just so aggressively has A Type.
