Okay, so! I’m having thoughts about formatting.

At the moment, all of Mirabelle’s dialogue is in quotation marks. However, reading the Script Project, it looks like that’s not the case in the original game. So—I’m presented with a choice to make.

One, I can keep doing what I’m doing.

Two, I can only do the quotation marks for dialogue choices.

Three, I just never do quotation marks?

Would love some feedback on this, because I don’t like making decisions on my own 👍

Something I think about a lot is the filming order of the Bizzyboy Instructional Tapes.

I think the contender for earliest filmed tape is 'A Bedtime Tail'. A lot of the dialog refers to 'thirty years' as the time between rift openings, but Hauzer says thrice a century, and inspekta says thirty-three years? So it seems like it's 33.3 years apart? I don't know. If i'm right about it being 33 years between openings, that would mean this was filmed 3 years before the events of the game. Either way, that's likely to be the first one filmed out of all of them - it seems the most 'normal', for lack of a better term. Second most recent filmed would likely be 'The Rift and You'. They'd have to have waited for the rift to start opening to get those shots. Unclear how long it takes for the rift to start doin' it's thang (professional term), but I imagine it's a month+ in advance of the Festival of the Rift. Once again, seems like a very normal video. There's a bit of Spek worship in it, but it doesn't read as sinister, more like the Bizzies being terrible at video editing. If I had to guess, this was filmed before King got elected. The most recent would be the God Awards. Pure propaganda hitpiece video. No defending it. I wonder what Patty and the others thought about it while working on it... It was probably really weird to make! It's now time to discuss Cooking with the Capo. In the speedrunning discord (come speedrun the game btw it's fun) we've begun theorizing that the video we see in the Bizzybodega is NOT what was originally on that tape, because if it is, that means someone had to sit down and edit footage of Capochin cutting out his organs, and I just can't see it. The idea we've been tossing around is that due to Buzzhuzz's nature as the home of History and Invention, the tape has changed to show us something we had to see. So, uh, no clue on when the original video would have been filmed.
