Unique Magic - "Endless Bodywork" - She can multiply any of her body parts for what seems like endlessly but most seen is like 10 arms and such. Her extra parts can appear on her body,other's bodies,and surfaces so long as she can see them. Usually can see her using extra arms to do tasks/work faster. Personality - She is very calm to the point it's eerie to some. Lacks showing fear even when she should her face stays stone faced. So focused on history she doesn't get most modern things like jokes or slang go over her head and frustrate her sometimes til she figures it out. Has a habit of saying/thinking of the worst possible outcome of a situation without knowing how disturbed others are from what she said. Can talk for hours about history as it's her passion but that may annoy you if only trying to rizz her up which she has no clue about much as only history lovers tend to stay near her.

Bio - The voluptuous calm history lady as some call her. Has a knack for knowing how the world works from all her research on its history. She almost always knows the history of any object,animal,or person by memory and if not will get to work learning it. Loves her job as it helps her learn new things she wouldn't study otherwise. Not shy to speak what's on her mind and uses her UM in front of others without warning so seeing her with extra limbs is a normal thing to those that pay attention.

It was an invitation that should have been seen by Elk Bentham’s eyes; not those of their Dorm’s head. Yet here the pair stood on the Rosenfluch doorstep, knocking on the door. This was far worse than when they’d brought Jamil. 

“Adam, you invited Malleus? I’m relieved you two are finally friends,” Elk said, demonstrating that clearly something went wrong with Adam sending mail by post instead of making the hike across campus. In that moment he could at least understand why most opted for personal phones and text messages. 

Spending a week with Malleus in his home sounded like a nightmare. But Adam also felt a strange swell of pride for his real friend being proud of him; he knew they’d be equally disappointed if he just rejected that fae outright. He ought to try to formulate a way to let him down easily. “Well, I hadn’t anticipated it, honestly. It was more of an open invitation to you, Draconia could come as well. Though I’m sure he has much more important duties to attend to in Briar Valley.”

The fae grinned in a disgustingly smug manner. Adam desperately wished he had a broom near the door just so he could swat the princeling away. “I should have no such engagements, Dorenglas.”

“Ah. Great.”

The housewarden of Rosenfluch envisioned being able to bury his fellow housewarden in the rose garden and leave him there for the following week. But frankly, it’d probably be useless considering his magic. Maybe Adam himself could let a bookshelf fall on him in the dorm library and claim full-time recovery at home, though he did still wish he could bring Elk along. “You’re frowning again, Adam. It’s your head bothering you?”

Despite being unquestionably the smallest person at the entrance, they reached up and patted his head. The relief was instant, albeit not an actually curse related headache. Fae-related, though, that was another story… “I’m alright.” He gave them a smile, though it felt forced through a sieve of annoyance. 

It would have been nice to show one of his first genuine friends his hometown on their own! Especially considering how lonesome they felt after that recent school trip, showing them that family could be more than who one was related to would have been nice. But now he has to cater to a big, stupid magic lizard too. “Don’t grind your teeth, that’s no good for them.”

“Sorry.” Unclenching his jaw felt  like a monumentous task, though. 

“…was I not intentionally invited?” The fae finally seemed to have gotten the hint. If he uninvited himself, it’d kill two birds with one stone. 

But in that moment he realized it wasn’t just the fae who was distressed in that moment. His friend’s sadness matched their housewarden’s, and that’s when he finally realized the pair hadn’t just arrived on his doorstep, but had done so hand-in-hand. How could he forget the numerous times Elk had gushed about how cute and charming they found their housewarden? How they wanted to get closer to him, but they were never sure of how welcome they were with all his associates around? That at times they felt the same as any other member of their house, unable to approach the fae’s rising star?

Yet now they were finally a little closer. And if they went on a trip with Adam, surely they could close the gap between them. 

Damn his romantic heart. 

“It was an open invitation. You’re as welcome to come as Elk is.” Even as he said it, he felt like his tongue was going to dive down his own throat and choke him. His friend had the worst taste in men, himself included. 

The princeling’s face morphed into a look of shock, then glee. He even (though unconsciously, perhaps) squeezed Elk’s hand. “Wonderful. Then I shall pack for this upcoming trek.”

His friend owed him and then some. Perhaps he could privately request them to come along on some weekends. Even if in this moment he was quite sure he’d be seeing much more Malleus Draconia.

I WAS UNWANTED — that's all I have ever known since I was born to this world of cruelty and evil; tranquility serving as a veil of illusion that everything was under control in this land of blood and chaos.

My name is Avalon LeFay Peregrine — the very daughter of the youngest and most gifted ymbryne of the peculiardom; Miss Alma LeFay Peregrine — I am only sixteen years of age inside the loop, but when I step out of its protection, I am decades older than my physical appearance.

Misunderstanding is what sets people on fire, but fear not, there would be not a trace of flame of misunderstanding in what I'm about to say — My mother loves me with all her heart, all of my flaws, all of the things I wish I did not have; even though sometimes, she trembled intensely while crying her heart out; holding back sobs as she apologized why she couldn't look at me for so long.

She wasn't disgusted. She wasn't ungrateful. There was not a trace of hatred in her voice as she apologized and held me in her motherly arms in search for comfort — she was drowning in a cesspool of guilt, because she could not bear to look at her only biological child even if she forces herself to focus her eyes on me. The reason was understandable, I bring back the storm of memories she wanted to vanish to oblivion.

She loved me, and told me I was her everything.

The reason I knew I was unwanted is from the fact I am the product of a forced, incestuous process — created in such a horrifying way that left my mother scars of trauma and nightmares; not only in her physique, but were engraved in her brain.

My father is Caul Bentham; a deranged man, so insane to the point that he could not care and would not care to distinguish the right and wrong — he even raped his own younger sister for his own pleasure.

I am a peculiar, they say, because I was able to live in a loop for such a long time; but if you ask me, the manifestation of my peculiarity seems to be delayed.

On one tragic night, my father bomboarded into our household — while Jacob and Emma were fighting that hollow he sent — and took Mom, Miss Avocet and myself.

But I was separated from them, and instead I was kept in a location I had no idea of — but I could describe the eerie smiles the wights gave me that made the atmosphere more deadly and absurd. I was an experiment — they pierced holes through my wrists to inject the souls of a peculiar.

As my father said I was to be some kind of a living weapon equipped with several peculiarities — but that was the last time I ever saw him; knowing that we were going to war with hollowgasts against the peculiar kind. I was alone in that hell hole of a house — cold, horrifying, depressing; just the epitome of a living hell.

Until the day came, Jacob Portman along with Mom barging through that door — I knew I was saved; because they saved me. I was only saved from that hell house, but not from the essentials coursing through my veins.

i havent finished the show yet (but im spoiled for like. everything already lmao) so i dont know if it exists already but, ive thought of something i dubbed the doki doki fruit. basically would let the user manipulate the adrenaline in their own and other peoples bodies. i just think itd be neat! and you wouldnt have to fight. just set enemies to zero and run

Ooo okay, I have way too many favs to list, but my top five are Luffy, Nami, Ace, Marco, and Zoro (but Rayleigh, Jinbe, Kin’emon, Sabo, Vivi, Robin, Franky, Bentham, Shanks, Whitebeard, Izou, Kuzan, and Buggy are some honourable mentions). My fav antagonists are Crocodile, Katakuri, Enel, Doflamingo and Rob Lucci.

Honestly, when I made a One Piece OC many years ago, I didn’t even think of giving her a Devil Fruit ability because I didn’t want her to drown every time she went near sea water 😭😂 I was 11 when I made her so forgive the kind of OP-ness/stupidity of it, but Kalix (OC version) could ask the sea to aid her, like she couldn’t control it exactly because the point was you had to be respectful enough to ask, but it made her pretty powerful lol.

That sounds super cool though, and the idea of just booking it after draining all your opponents energy is such a mood lol! I would love that Devil Fruit ability (and I can confirm that so far, there’s no fruit exactly like that, although there is a hormone fruit that does have the ability to boost adrenaline levels among other things (but it has pretty nasty side effects), but none that can drain it).

4. sol at luna - in which aruna's feelings for her best friend maria bubble up and spill over after years of simmering.

5. matchstick lover - (mphfpc) emma bloom is stuck in devil's acre, hands itching to break out of there and join the rest of miss p's wards on their escapades. however one day she comes across a fellow peculiar, in bed, inside one of bentham's house's many rooms. han min-jun calls themself a matchstick, just as they call emma.

6. the price of change - one ship carrying four fates, all at the hands of the captain and previously owned by a so-called local lunatic who haunts his daughter's dreams. this leaves her no choice but to track her mystery boy down. she ends up with more than she anticipated for—possibly a crew?

CODENAME: SILAS

LEGAL NAME: Leland Bishop ROLE: Leader. But if need fancy titles: Chief Executive, Head of Procurement, and Head of R&D. BACKGROUND: [Classified] [some known to Fowler] Aspirations since M.E.C.H. discovered Cybertronians living on Earth? Newer World Order (Strategic directives issued by shadow partner): Threaten chaos by widely publicizing the existence of giant, destructive autonomous robots. Acts of terror will inspire the need for high-tech solutions (capable of withstanding and even defeating said living robots). Then citizens of Earth will declare support for M.E.C.H. and its owners. PATH INTO M.E.C.H.: He's the founder! But since another party is a major financier to M.E.C.H. operations, that makes Leland Bishop just a co-owner, not a full owner of the org. "It's time for this world to change again."

EXPERTISE: Military training and decision-making. Been on the field, eventually discharged, but retains skills and know-how. Highly interested in research and experimentation of technology for military purposes. FACE CLAIM: Liam Cunningham, but with dark eyes and more of jaw/chin. 2022 Edit: Lee Reherman, mostly as per his portrayal in Leverage S1E02. (Okay, the show already has his general description, but having a face claim is handy for when I’m about to draw him) QUIRKS: Ruthless, unsympathetic. Sees foot soldiers as disposable, and civilian participants as acceptable losses. In darkest moments, more self-preserving than dedicated to a cause. TECH ATTITUDE: To the best of his own ability, he keeps up with the most sophisticated war-tech developments. In terms of general technology use, he more often relies on outsourced computer experts.

CODENAME: ECLIPSE

LEGAL NAME: Erik Tam Wan Shen ROLE: Fund Manager. Obtains new financing, makes investments, and ensures that M.E.C.H. have the (difficult-to-trace) slush funds ready for use at any time. BACKGROUND: Grew up in Hong Kong, sent to the United Kingdom for higher education. Attained Best Student award every year. Fast-tracked finance career, jet set around the world, bored, wished there was more to just making money for corporations and helping them evade taxes by setting up shell subsidiaries in the Cayman Islands. Then he heard about the underground money world. International financiers like Damien Moreau (years before TFP and Leverage canon). Inspired not necessarily by whom Damien funds or makes deals with, but the idea of stealing from large existing corporations and using them for a cause that Erik identifies with. PATH INTO M.E.C.H.: While on a legitimate job-hop, encountered the owner of a multinational holding company. Said owner is the co-founder of M.E.C.H., and has several politicians of major powers in their pocket. During Erik's probation in fund manager position, the owner heard rumors of Erik's personal projects. Erik tried to hide it at first, but the owner - promising this is not a trap - gave Erik disclosure on M.E.C.H. activities. They could use a fund manager like him. "You don't want to know what I do with this money."

EXPERTISE: More than tax evasion and opportunistic speculative investments. Under M.E.C.H., typical method of obtaining new financing is to approach wealthy/powerful people and corporations, promising to hide their money (from tax collectors and activists alike) - as long as Eclipse’s organization (M.E.C.H.) receives a weekly nominal fee in a specific checking account. FACE CLAIM: James Wan, but more corporate, plain/unobtrusive. Also wears wire-rimmed glasses. QUIRKS: Can unintentionally appear creepy. His aesthetic is gender-neutral. Has elementary melee combat skills, but an excellent marksman. TECH ATTITUDE: Highly receptive to advancements, including cryptocurrency. At his core, believes in making use of technology rather than being controlled by it. Takes maximum possible precaution involving cybersecurity - for work and personal uses. Acknowledges that an expert like Twelve is highly beneficial to the group.

CODENAME: ROMAIN

LEGAL NAME: Víóletta Hrólfsdóttir ROLE: Human Resources Manager. Oversees recruitment of operations personnel (foot soldiers) as well as specialists (R&D testers and documenters, medics, etc). BACKGROUND: Born and educated in Reykjavík, Iceland. Started off working in insurance, moved on to pension funds.Technically not in banking, but still part of the finance sector; also hit hard by the late 2000's Icelandic financial crisis. After Víóletta got retrenched, she emigrated to the U.S. and worked at a position she is overqualified for: just above entry-level human resource management. PATH INTO M.E.C.H.: Found herself transferred to a private military company. Aside from her routine HR work, she kept getting assignments in which she reports to Silas. She paid no regard to whether or not the activities that required recruitment were illegal or dangerous; she's just doing the multiple requirements that her job entails, so she might as well get paid for her efforts. "Poor or rich, everyone wants fair compensation for their work - or for their family member's sacrifice."

EXPERTISE: Conventionally good at her finance-related jobs. Minimize insurance payout, maximize pension fund returns. As of HR work, good at listening to people complain and sounding like she cared. In her work for M.E.C.H., takes on duty of finding the most capable people to do work for the lowest cost possible. Previously also in charge of finding and obtaining empty and abandoned places for M.E.C.H. to freely operate in, but now relies on Twelve to make the process smoother and faster, with less external red tape involved. FACE CLAIM: María Ellingsen, but colder and soulless. Corporate, like Eclipse. QUIRKS: Has inferiority complex, envy towards people with exceptional skill, especially savants like Eclipse and Twelve. Reads murder mysteries and follows true crime as catharsis for when real humans are overly annoying. TECH ATTITUDE: Indifferent. Welcomes the convenience. Doesn’t have enough of a life to post on social media. Honestly interested in M.E.C.H.’s ongoing and future destructive experiments. Can survive off the grid well enough.

CODENAME: BENTHAM

LEGAL NAME: Gerard Osman ROLE: Public Relations Manager BACKGROUND: Grew up in Cape Town, South Africa. Received tertiary education in Bloemfontein. Early in career, worked with local community newspaper outlets back in Cape Town. Wanted to get into a major English language paper, but at some point, grew jaded with journalism in general. So Gerard explored the very idea of spectacle. What kinds of drama that get people's attention, get them heated up. He also got fascinated with secrets, and how much certain people would pay in order to keep secrets from surfacing. He had many hobbies and aspirations, but would need more resources to see his personal society-shaking projects come true. PATH INTO M.E.C.H.: Once, while on leisure time in Cape Point, he saw an alien-looking spaceship land on top of Table Mountain. An equally alien-looking metallic person stepped out and seemed to receive some transmission; it then returned to the ship and took off eastward. [That was Manticore arriving on Earth.] Gerard secured his copies of the photographs before posting them online. Within minutes, the photos were taken down (by the U.S. military; Special Agent Fowler wanted a closer look, and he consulted Optimus on who that bot was). In one week since the disappointing takedown, Silas met up and explained that he saw the photos and traced the posting to Gerard. "You stumbled upon something that made the United States military quake in their boots." Over a series of meetings, Gerard found that his interests and Silas's ideals aligned. Gerard begins working for M.E.C.H. in full capacity. Since then, he maintains public cover as 'freelance journalist', while also running a few conspiracy theory blogs. "Media, politics, society - with humans, it's an eternally-repeating circus. Once you've seen it somewhere, you've seen it everywhere."

EXPERTISE: Excellent grifter who can plant or erase reports/materials in media rooms. Can influence certain editors and columnists, make them write what he wants to write. In Bentham's present work for M.E.C.H., he helps justify U.S. military R&D spending in news columns... so that M.E.C.H. can steal the fruits of said research. But in the age of online media (though he hates to admit it), he needs help. He's in charge of content, and hacking is outside his main skill scope. FACE CLAIM: Maps Maponyane, but not as richly-dressed. QUIRKS: Generally healthy, but not himself a fighter. In spite of his manipulations and getting other people to fight in his stead, he sees himself as a decent person. Likes stationery and calligraphy. Well-read. TECH ATTITUDE: Personally a traditionalist at heart, but learns to accept advancements and speed of change. Wholeheartedly understands the human fear of being at the business end of high-tech weapons. Used to post a lot on personal social media, but deactivated to focus on own sites and projects. Perceptive, questions what happens behind the scenes.

CODENAME: TWELVE

LEGAL NAME: K. Meena Rajikumar ROLE: Information Officer. Well, Pre-emptive and on-demand hacker to be exact. BACKGROUND: Unemployed IT graduate turning 23 in the year 2011. Fourth child of six siblings. Rich parents, even richer uncle, K. Jishnu Samudrala (who happens to be one of Eclipse's earliest financiers). Regarded as too boyish, even among upper-class and Western-educated Indian women that her mother and sisters spent time with. Lacks fashion sense; dubbed by older people as an adrenaline junkie with a 'bad attitude'. Not much regard for authority, but kind toward retail, cleaning, and other service workers. PATH INTO M.E.C.H.: During an extended family gathering, Uncle Jishnu expressed concern for Meena's unemployed status (but really, he's just getting to know if Meena can handle working for M.E.C.H.). He may have an opportunity, but the choice is all up to Meena. The pay is more than decent, and it definitely involves hacking (to hell with legal guidelines). It is definitely not a boring, routine office position; the work will be project-based. She may even have to do hacking from the back of a fast car, or the passenger seat of a helicopter. It sounded like everything Meena dreamed about. Her parents ask if she's sure, because this opportunity sounds too good to be true. Uncle Jishnu says the opportunity is very real. He will soon contact Eclipse, and ask if Silas and Romain can set up a job interview for a new, dedicated hacker. "Do I get a cool codename, too?"

EXPERTISE: "Dabbles" in hacking; knows of Alec Hardison and some of his exploits. Operates faster, and is normally less traceable than usual M.E.C.H. hackers. Helps Romain in acquiring and emptying out bases, even falsifying documentation and ownership trails. FACE CLAIM: Keerthy Suresh, with a punk look. Hair dyed bright cyan, short and spiked. QUIRKS: Has traveled overseas with family often. Likes Starbucks coffee. TECH ATTITUDE: Absolute nerd, always on the cutting-edge of cybersecurity technology. Cautious about military weapons, though.
