Sorry if not) I had a dream about your au the other night, where y/n made a complicated rng/treasure hunt that had them all over the park trying to solve it, completing the game they got the messege "Will you marry me fr fr?" of course they said yes and they were all so happy, it was very cute.

And also SHARE YOU DREAMS WITH ME I BEG OF THEEEEE!!! I’d absolutely love to see my boys in person it would be a dream come true! Literally!!!

The dream sounds so sweet and fun the bois would have an absolute blast going along with this treasure hunt (I wonder if they would play fair or try to cheat having the Tiki’s help them but unbeknownst to them the Tiki’s are also in on this lil endeavor mwahahaha!) after finally solving it I imagine they would almost explode from shock and happiness to accept y/n’s fr fr proposal to them!

The bois proceed to go nuts for planning and prepping for the ceremony. If you can imagine how much work they would put into making the park and resort ready for this event, they would go all out! (Photos would be amazing haha) they’ve actually done wedding in Waterspark Bay before so this would be something especially grand for the very special occasion:D

Realised it’s @khoc-week so even though I don’t have the energy to do it daily have this I did a while ago but never posted.

Arxeht my beloved. They came to me in a dream where I was a replica (of multiple people but looked most like Vidar) made by apprentice Nort/Xemnas, who was the fifteenth member of the organisation and also had my knowledge of hit video games Kingdom Hearts and kept getting randomly thrown through space and time.

The thing about young Lottie and Misty in the wilderness is that for all the impromptu amputation and accidentally becoming a cult leader, the way they're treated by the group feels very true (at least to me) of the experience of neurodivergent alienation, especially at that age. Fundamentally, they're scared, unprepared teenagers same as everyone else, but because they don't react to their circumstances in the same way as the others, they're treated as if they're insulated from the trauma of the experience, and as a result are held up as key to the group's survival in a kind of dehumanizing way.

Lottie's untreated psychosis is interpreted as evidence that she has a special connection with the wilderness. She's made into a religious icon more or less against her will, a position that forces her to not only keep everyone calm but see herself and her mental illness used to justify the group's increasingly violent actions. And that perception of Lottie as something more than human extends to her physical limitations, too: they send her out in temperatures far below freezing with no weapons, expecting her to come home with food, and allow Shauna to beat her nearly to death because they see it as some sort of mystical ritual. She has the respect and affection of the group, but she has it as a conduit for the wilderness, not as Lottie, the scared teenager in a terrible situation.

Misty never gets the same reverence as Lottie, but she does get the expectations. She seems to experience (or at least express) emotions differently than the others: she's relatively unbothered by their circumstances at baseline, punctuated by moments of panic when members of the group in which she's found some tentative respect and companionship are in danger. The fact that she can react calmly in a crisis and has an unusual amount of medical knowledge makes her valuable to the group, but it's also used as evidence of her otherness: Mari and Gen admire how well she kept it together while Shauna was in labour, and then immediately switch to talking about how creepy they find her as a result — even though they were generally irritated and unsympathetic when she was initially panicking.

Someone sent me a message on Discord like "why is everyone obsessed with the Random Guy" in regards to the tags on my previous post. SO. I definitely rambled there but also I love this plot a whole lot and it's very dear to me so:

Tolliver is the "Just a Guy" who Kronos wants dead for stealing all of the Devil's focus. The thing is, Tolliver doesn't WANT the focus but not much he can do! He was born and his parents opted to sell /his/ soul to the succubi in exchange for wealth and fame. So while they retained souls (and then promptly died after ticking off the wrong people with their money and habits, coincidental deaths of course) he doesn't have that leniency. He can do whatever he wants and he'll still be dragged to Hell when he dies even if he's a saint. His soul is already waiting for him down there.

So the Devil is like "well, time to send low ranking demons after my living toy but I distinctly do not wish him dead yet" and that's not really a thing Tolliver knows. So he thinks if he doesn't really fight back he's just gonna die early and while he doesn't think it's nice on earth, he'd rather not start his eternal burning quite yet. So he uses a magic marker (literally) to ward off and banish the demons. That's why the Devil is invested in him - it's entertainment on earth with his future property!

Kronos going up to kill him and then failing and then becoming his roommate is actually the reason why other demons kinda track Tolliver. They're tracking Kronos. They need Kronos back in Hell come on stop loitering on earth buddy. (he continues to loiter on earth)

The siren is purely coincidental in that Tolliver sees her when it's cold and gives her his jacket completely unaware she isn't even human. Then we have one of the bad guys, The Boogeyman. He feeds off of nightmares and that means Tolliver is a delight since all he HAS is nightmares. Man's never had a good dream in his life. So it's a nice little "promised" meal but he ropes the Sandman into luring others to sleep for him to feed off of. Eventually Lady Luck gets involved with Boogie and she's a bit arrogant and childish (there's lore there) and then she sees Tolliver. Fighting against Boogie's grasp despite having nothing to fight for. And she decides he deserves one win in his life since it's clear that the hand he's been dealt sucks. And stops helping Boogie which ends up being his demise.

All the demons that directly interact with Tolliver aren't there for the random guy, honestly. They're there for Kronos. Who unfortunately is obsessed with Tolliver (and he's got such a weird gay crush on the guy and gets so emotionally distraught when Tolliver doesn't feel the same cause he doesn't feel anything for anyone because he doesn't have a soul and feels zero attachment.)
