Fallen London Travel Guide:
Cottage by the Observatory
The blind men at the Observatory sell these, to people who don't mind occasionally being assaulted by predatory fungus in the middle of the night.

Super Blue Moon behind the big dome of the Lick Observatory by Peter Thoeny - Quality HDR Photography
Via Flickr:
Tomorrow is Super Blue Moon, tonight it is 98.8% full moon. The day before full moon is better for photography because you get the ambient sunset light, so I decided to take the moon shot tonight. The historical Lick Observatory is located high above San Jose, California, and lends itself as the foreground for a full moon shot. I manually calculated the exact position where to put my tripod – 10 miles (16 km) away from the observatory, so that I could get the full moon dead center behind the big dome of the observatory. We currently have a spare the air alert in the Silicon Valley, so the air is hazy, and has a brown-orange hue. I processed a balanced and a photographic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments. Thank you for visiting - ♡ with gratitude!
