SOOO.. I literally drew this at random last night while I was working. Thank goodness for 2 computers and working from home. I just thought that it would be a cute idea to have Usopp brushing Jimbei’s hair. Its a good way to show gratitude and care for a person. I’ve been in situations where I was sad, lonely, down or just recovering from a surgery/trauma and I’ve had people, those who I never thought would just randomly, brush my hair, get it out of my face. It was helpful and very important that someone was kind enough to do so. I imagine that the Straw Hats do similar with each other. 

I wanted to make a little story to go with this image. My thought behind this was a few ideas:

  - Jimbei and Usopp woke up before the rest of the crew and Usopp noticed how messy Jimbei’s hair was - bed head was a serious issue and Usopp offers to fix it. 

  - The crew is waking up for the day and Jimbei’s hair ribbon is torn and snaps when he tried to put it up and Usopp gives him his own hair tie and helps

  - Usopp and Jimbei bump into each other while their eyes are covered from their hair, laugh, and than Usopp offers to fix it. (I tried to draw them both moving the hair out of their own faces and smiling but I had a hard time and made this instead LOL)

The writing will go with the second option I think so ENJOY, PSA: I’m not a writer in the slightest so forgive me if its crap!

    The Sun shined and casts its warm glow over the Thousand Sunny. The crew still fast asleep; only a few waking up to the mornings greeting. Jimbei had opened the door to the men’s quarters and stretched as he had walked out, waving to Robin who was sitting on the bench of the mast, a book in her hand and a smile on her face. She enjoyed her turn on the night watch more than the others thought.

      The fish man had sat down on the grass and pulled a ribbon from his sleeve, his curly hair piled over his face and sticking up in odd places. Shaking out his hair he had pulled it back tightly, using his ribbon to wrap around the thick hair, the ribbon had snapped giving away to its consistent use. 

Jimbei: “Oh! That was my last one..”

Robin: “Oh my; well I can see if Nami has any extra ones.”

Jimbei: “That wo-”

Usopp: “I’ve got it!”

A big smile was over the snipers face as him and Sanji walked out of the mens quarters; Sanji heading to the kitchen and Usopp had his small box of bathroom products to get ready for the day. Usopp had grabbed a hair clip was that stuck on the sleeve of the dress shirt he wore. Pinning part of his hair back to be able to see. He grabbed a small box and put it behind Jimbei to stand on. Ruffling the Fishman’s hair he held the hair tie in his teeth and proceeded to brush and pull it back. 

Jimbei: “Usopp, you don’t have to, you can just give me the hair tie.”

Usopp: “Nonsense! We are nakama, Jimbei. Oi, I thought my curls were messy.”

Jimbei had nodded as they had idling chatted as Usopp brushed and tied up his hair.

Alright so it was really short, oh well. I may do more stuff like this in the future, I dont know >> plus I love Usopp wearing Sanji’s shirt
