Lazy innkeepers’ mornings 🏴☠️
If you have any fluff ideas, you can text me and I’ll try to sketch it! I need to practice and sometimes I don’t have any thoughts.

Stede lying on deck remembering the “fine things” moment as the goddamn OPENING OF THE EPISODE.
He KNEW. He knew there was something there and he regrets not taking that step and GAWD.

If you were in OFMD who do you all think you'd be. No main characters, I'm talking the background characters. I'd be the guy at Spanish Jackie'z in s1e3 who after Stede says "the drinks are on us" and someone throws their drink on Lucius shouts "the drinks be on ye now!"

s1 was stede's journey, s2 was ed's journey. s3 would have been a journey for the both of them together and navigating their lives as a unit. i will forever be angry

thinking about Taika and Rhys hanging out watching the olympics on mute in Taika's on-set tent during filming of season 1 and coming up with the idea to prank people into believing they were drinking alcohol at work by walking around set drinking non-alcoholic whiskey pretending it's actual whiskey. they really couldn't have found anyone more perfect for the roles of Ed and Stede like that is absolutely something they would do

Hello detectives! 🔎
Do you love:
Mystery fiction, especially paired with a comedic tone, like Knives Out, Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, or Only Murders in the Building?
Sherlock & Co, and want another, different take on the Holmes canon to add to your rotation of shows?
Irreverent historical comedies with surprising heart and messages about the people who often get left in the margins of history like Operation Mincemeat and Our Flag Means Death?
Re: Dracula, and other audio dramas that present unique takes on classic literature?
British audio comedy like Wooden Overcoats, Cabin Pressure, and Bleak Expectations?
The original ACD Sherlock Holmes stories but wish there was explicit, textual representation of gay, lesbian, and ace identities that are celebrated and centered within the actual text?
Adorable senior cat mascots?
May we present ourselves, Fawx & Stallion, a mystery-comedy podcast about the best detective team on Baker Street! (Not that one.) Our full first season is available now, and we are currently crowdfunding for Season 2! If a queer, Victorian mystery-comedy set in the world of Sherlock Holmes sounds like it might be up your alley, please consider giving us a listen, and if you're able, supporting our crowdfund so that our indie team can bring another mystery to life!

Stede: He probably thinks I'm a fool, Blackbeard. I'm a terrible pirate.
Ed: Ah, c'mon. Y'know most of the pirates I know? They're dead. So you're doing a hell of a lot better than them.
I love that Stede has been struggling with being a "good pirate" for weeks and Ed's measure of a good pirate is "still alive."
And y'know what? He's right.
