Angel sitting on Overlord Husk‘s knee as a joke and to get a rise out of him, but Husk just grabs him by the hip and keeps talking to the demon he‘s been conversing with, curling his tail around Angel‘s ankle.

Do y’all know what we’re missing in the Overlord Husk AU genre?

A fic (or fics ; 3 ) where Angel goes to Overlord Husk himself to get free from Valentino.

Imagine: Angel is fed up with Valentino, the studio, the clients, the whole Valentino & Vox thing, the entirety of the Vee’s operation.

So one day, after he gets off work, Angel disguises himself, expertly swipes a pack of cards from Husk’s casino as he walks in, sweet talks his way into learning what room Husker’s in, sneaks his way into a meeting with Husker.

He takes off bits of his disguise, You know who I am?

Doesn’t everyone, kid? Your face is plastered everywhere.

Angel grins, Most everyone, but never hurts to ask.

Angel starts shuffling the deck and Husk thinks Angel wants to play a round, but Angel’s playing an entirely different game.

He tells Husker what he knows about him, his casino, how he plays in soul contracts. Doesn’t bother with his sob story, Husker knows who he is, he can put the pieces together himself. Angel pulls out the King of Hearts from the deck.

You’re the King of Souls, baby.

And what? You’re trying to become my Queen? Because I’m not interested-

No, don’t be silly, Sweetheart, I wanna be your ace.

Husk raises an eyebrow, mildly interested.

Angel starts dealing out cards for a round of poker.

Do you realize how many people can’t shut up after a night with me? It’s like their brain turns to mush or something and they can’t remember why they shouldn’t be talking ‘bout certain stuff. I know things about Overlords and their operations and their right hands and their subordinates, etc etc that no one else does.

Husker stares at Angel. He’s considering everything he’s heard.

Husk flips over his cards, he has a pair of Kings.

I can get you any information you seek, help you with expansion, provided additional in-house appeal. I can make you so much money, bring in so much business, make sure you always have the right cards to play, all you have to do…

Angel flips over his hand to show a pair of aces.

Husker grins at him, thrilled by the game and intrigued by the proposal.

Angel grins back.

Do we have a deal?

And then later they fall in love, he frees Angel, and they become THE power couple of hell 💋

HuskerDust fanart based on the fanfiction, Mia Famiglia by Wiolli  In this AU, both Angel Dust and Husk are Overlords, with Angel being Overlord in his own right. This is rare to see as in most fanfictions, Angel's Overlord status is either built up by Husk or attained following the death of Valentino.

Speedpaint process:

This scene took place in Chapter 5 where both attend the Overlord meeting hosted by Carmilla.  ---

Angel gently nudged Husk as Carmilla spoke, leaning close to the cat’s ear. The gambling overlord didn’t move away from the closeness, only glancing at Angel briefly before returning his attention to the tall woman at the front.

“Those two should just fuck already.”, Angel whispered, gesturing to the TV and Radio demons.

Much to his surprise (and absolute delight), Husk geniuenly snorted at his words, playing the amused noise off as a cough. He gave Angel a good glare, yet the smirk on his lips gave the cat demon away. --- Tools: pencil, M&G gel pen and Leningrad watercolor.

So I adore the Huskerdust overlord au with all my heart but now all I can think about is Husk singing smooth Jazz as a once a month deal at his casino.

Of course the show is a sold out affair each time. Because Husk rarely indulges the crowd with his singing voice. He would sing about five songs before he leaves and the regular performance acts resumed.

When Angel sees his boss performance for the first time. It's like an outer body experience.

The spotlight on Husk seems brighter and the crowd melts away until it feels like he is only singing for his Angel.

Time slows down when Husk is singing sweet love songs the whisky in his clawed hand is swirled gently as he all but croons out the classics. Angel's cheeks are rosy but not from drink. The warmth in his stomach seems to wash through his whole body.

When Husk gets to the last song he locks eyes with Angel and sings 'My funny valentine' which has the spider swooning for the Overlord more than ever.

When Husk is finished with his set he thanks the audience and then sets off to his office. Angel watches him go, wanting nothing more than to follow him but he thinks better of it.

Y'all don't understand how this stupid Italian spider has infected my brain, I'm having so much fun drawing him and writing him, the irony of an asexual lesbian woman writing a hyper sexual gay man is not lost on me I find it very funny! I unfortunately got a medical diagnosis that requires me to kind a rewire my schedule so I've had less time to draw but I'm still doing my best and I've got some redesigns + some Dragons rising stuff in the works (for the ppl who follow me for that) and it's definitely a shift but I'm getting used to it!

Holy fuck. probably after Valentino made Angel responsible for his bad fucking mood again. Looking straight at him while he lets Angel nuzzle at his neck and slides his hand right between those long, long legs.

'Cause it's no fucking rocket science to see that Val is so *idiotically* jealous of what Angel got, even though Val himself doesn't realize it (he's an idiot).

It's two birds with one stone, really... Angel going like putty in his lap and him just slowly feeling him up and tickling his claws across those lovely little holes he got – and Val almost choking on his own tongue with rage.
