Also I stole this ask just so I can post this fuggin weirdo I made smhh (I raise from the dead just to post an oc again LMAOAOAOAO)
Hopefully this will be my last one in a long while I can live with 7 fuggin wh characters HHFHFUDJSNKSSJ- well- technically 8 if you include Betsy-
But to keep it (somewhat) short and sweet- my loser- a ye ol Milkman- Zachary Milksop (chronically lactose intolerant) and Betsy (a lil mascot moo sentient puppet)
Another character made almost spur in the moment again (like Mari) though thankfully not another bUG, but just some average human smhh. He’s a really simple guy, a loser, is as interesting as normal milk— he’s just the ye ol milkman who delivers you that gud shid smhh— enjoyer of the finer things in life (lunchables). A lil flirty and charming (in possibly the cringiest way possible) however he doesn’t really seem to pick up anyone besides the local cows that constantly harass him (and eats his pants). He enjoys watching them though, from v e r y m u c h afar——
hes just kinda, “that guy”
Also Betsy- a very sweet woman! She always greets everyone and has the friendliest extroverted personality ever! Always the type to bring (albeit tiny) gifts for her favorite neighbors and always leads when talking to anyone. Not like she would allow Zach to say anything anyway, she hates his polyester guts (and only him smhh)

As someone that had never heard about The Crow in any capacity before this year, I saw the new movie yesterday and it was pretty good!
It was a nice amount of edginess that was endearing and genuine. There’s a difference between being edgy for shock value and ego stroking (Jared Leto’s Joker) vs edginess that’s produced from the story the creatives want to tell and are just passionate about. This movie definitely fit the latter rather than the former.
Bill “Scream King” Skarsgård is obviously a great actor and FKA Twigs did really good for only her 2nd leading role!
The two had good chemistry, and it felt realistic that he did falter in “your love must always remain pure” before diving all in and sacrificing his soul. It is hard to remain 100% pure all of the time, humans are fickle souls are not, so him choosing a deal that is set in stone from the get go was a natural and damning next step.
I also wonder if they’ve left the door open for a sequel given Shelly remembers everything, the guy from that purgatory world (who Google says was Kronos) is in the human world, and Eric said he wasn’t satisfied because he wants to be with her. A sequel could be cool.
Something that caught my attention was how Bill portrayed Eric. Going into the movie, I thought he was going to be an arrogant smartass or asshole. But he wasn’t. Normal!Eric tries to follow rules (most times), he was shy in the beginning stages of his and Shelly’s relationship, and death horribly freaked him out both before he died and when he becomes the “pre-Crow” phase (??? If I understood right, he didn’t actually become The Crow until the third act, and that what he was beforehand was like a middle ground?)
Like, Eric was just a decent guy who wanted very badly to be happy, and found that happiness with Shelly. Which makes it tragic when he discards the final remnants of his humanity and starts killing left & right and let’s vengeance consume him. The development of him initially freaking out whenever he got hurt vs him getting brutalized later on, still feeling every wound, but just no longer caring because he’s doomed anyway was *chefs kiss*
Overall I enjoyed it. Sadly I think it’s getting review bombed by fans of the 1994 adaptation. I hope that somehow its able to garner enough support to have a sequel, and despite how the ‘94 fans seem to be acting, Bill’s Crow has made me curious on the original movie so I’ll probably be watching that soon too 🐦⬛

i'm not gonna say any names but you guys do know that when you're boycotting something you're also not supposed to be talking about it online, right ? yes, stop using that product and pirate that movie, you're doing great. but talking about it on the internet, even in a negative way, counts as advertisement. if you don't use censors or code-words to refer to them then that company you are trying to boycott is still getting attention. even if it's not positive, it is still attention.
companies rely on being relevant, not just getting money. they are constantly grasping at the tiniest bits of attention they can get. companies that have been known to never make advertisements are now suddenly all over public bus ads, metro stations, billboards etc. they have gone from making 10 posts a year to at least 20 each month on their social media accounts. don't give them any reactions, don't engage with their posts, don't make them think you still have their attention. we are making amazing progress, but we will only truly win against them if we completely ignore them and let them crumble.
