Proof that Huskerdust have feelings for each other
• In 1x04 Throughout the entirety of the song Loser, Baby Husk becomes consensual , gentle, and chivalrous with Angel (who pretty much joined in after being accepted for who he is with a “Baby, that’s fine by me”
youtube
<> Husk protectively told Angel to “stay down” (very boyfriend-coded if you ask me 😏) and then seconds later became awestruck by the fact that he could defend himself (whilst showing his true colours)
<> However at the end of the episode the tension of sexual attraction between them is definitely there
Tumblr media
• In 1x05 it’s a little bit harder to tell since the episode “Dad Beat Dad” was mainly focused on Lucifer’s father/daughter and Charlie’s relationship.
But we do see two snippets of Angel and Husk on the sidelines comically eating popcorn as Alastor defended the hotel later on (after Lucifer caused it) and another scene where Lucifer and Charlie are arguing.
Tumblr media
<> Husk makes a pre-drink for Angel without being asked whilst he talks to Mimzy (which I thought was actually really cute ☺️)
• In 1x06 When at the club Consent first off Angel listened to Husk’s advice after Cherri suggested they get “fucked up” by doing drugs
<> After Niffty gets drunk Huskerdust literally become her parents 😂 (also Husk praised Angel for standing up to Valentino before placing his paw on back)
Tumblr media
• In 1x07 Again, similar to “Dad Beat Dad” there’s a brief Huskerdust moment where two things happen; 1. Angel wraps his arm around Husk. 2. Husk frowns shortly at Vaggie before it changed to a smile and his eyes dilated (slightly) after Angel embraced him
Tumblr media
• In 1x08 Before the war with the angels (Exorcists) Angel decided to spend his last night at the hotel with Husk who had flirtatiously acknowledged that he had really changed
Tumblr media
Bonus:
You can also hear the instrumentals of Loser, Baby in the background!!! (Like… come on you cannot tell me THIS isn’t a romantic atmosphere. The Husk’s tone of “you really have changed” that’s held with so much sexual tension! Their song — literally — playing in the background?! Angel’s Anthony’s soft and hesitant “Hey…”)
<> During the amidst of the war Husk makes a social faux pas about “too many fucking angels coming” only be teased by Angel in response (which come on, let’s face it, they definitely were flirting 🤭)
Tumblr media
<> The minute Angel got knocked down by one of the exorcist (after selflessly saving Frank one of the Egg Boiz) Husk looked feral at the person who had harmed the latter ~ like were talking “you just hit my boyfriend , how dare you.” level of protectiveness
Tumblr media
References:
There are hundreds of meanings of the word “Likes” in this list down below (just to show evidence that it can mean “find attractive” etc as well)

Sydney's mental health
Tumblr media
I’ve read plenty of theories about Sydney’s potential health issues, particularly whether she might have lupus, but I think the show could take a different approach. There are various clues throughout the two seasons pointing at mental health issues for Sydney, which I think these point towards things potentially getting worse for Sydney as she puts too much pressure on herself - or perhaps hints of a backstory for Sydney, but the clues are definitely there.
We’ve seen general hints about Sydney having anxiety, e.g. struggling to sleep, haunted by memories of catering, and the stomach problems she has, likely due to stress. We also know that she is closed off emotionally, to the extent that she arguably even hides the truth about her mother’s death. Although we haven’t seen it officially yet, her “c’est pas grave” tattoo feels like something someone with anxiety would say to themselves as a kind of motto.
Specific things I’ve noticed while rewatching that support this include:
Sydney talking to Carmy (1x05) about the collapse of her business “My whole shit got rocked. And there’s not a night I don’t stay up just thinking about what I could’ve done different.” Sydney refers to her shit getting rocked separately to her credit getting fucked. Notably, when talking with Marcus about the same thing (the collapse of her business) in 1x08 is how this affected her finances - her negative credit score and moving back in with her dad, so she must be thinking of something else here. (I also think this is a sign of Sydney/Carmy > Sydney/Marcus; she’s more open with Carmy when they barely know each other than she is with Marcus when they’re hanging out outside of work as friends.)
In the shots of Sydney's bedroom (also in 1x05) the choices of posters could mean something more. There are 2 film posters that we see clearly in Sydney's room: (1) Jumping' Jack Flash, a film named after a Rolling Stones song, which recounts stories of intense suffering only to come out stronger, and (2) Speed, a film about a bus that has been rigged to explode if its speed drops below 50mph. This also made me of all the references to Sydney driving and how this is a metaphor for her ambition and work ethic (see here) - could it be a reference to this drive also being a weakness?
Sydney talking to Marcus (1x08), after he compliments her for not taking a day off and getting right back to cooking: “I’m just the type, like, as soon as I stop I just *mimics falling apart*". Clearly, she’s experienced this falling apart before, but this is something we haven't seen on screen. We don’t know the timelines of Sydney’s business and exactly when it fell apart, but could it be that the collapse of Sheridan Road drove her to also collapse? (This is also the conversation where she explicitly says to Marcus "It would be weird to work in a restaurant and not completely lose your mind," but I think this is something different to her references to losing her mind when she's not working.)
Sydney talking with her dad (2x02), she differentiates The Bear from her previous business, saying: “I’m in a much better place than last time.” I found this choice of words interesting - separately, she mentions that she’s learned lots of lessons, and has a partner now, but the reference to a “better place” is distinct. What kind of “place” she was in when she started and closed Sheridan Road? It sounds like whatever her emotional and mental state was, it was at least a factor in her failure there. It’s also interesting that she didn’t mention this as one of the reasons for leaving catering when she discussed it with Carmy in 1x05: she didn’t refer to any personal factors, focusing instead on the logistical challenges (on her business getting too big too fast, and the difficulties of running it out of her garage).
Emmanuel to Sydney (2x09): “I know you can put a lot of pressure on yourself”; Sydney responds: “why can’t we put everything that we have into everything that we can?” And then, “I don’t know if I could do another one.” This exchange isn't subtle at all, because Emmanuel is a great dad and cares about his daughter, but I find it interesting how much he is focused on the pressure Sydney puts herself under; he's no longer focusing on the risky nature of the industry or her change in plan as he was in 2x02, he’s only concerned about her wellbeing here. We know how much pressure she is in fact putting on herself (to get a star, and to generally be the best) so could she end up pushing herself too far again?
Sydney talking to Carmy (2x09) in the infamous table scene: “What if I just, like, completely melt? Like I just, fuck up and fail?” Now, at this point, we haven’t actually seen Sydney completely melt. In 1x05 and 1x06 she handles crises at the restaurant like a boss and saves the day with her quick thinking, and even with the to-go crisis in 1x08, her initial response is to try to help - what makes her throw in the towel is Carmy’s attitude towards her. She could also be referring to the final pasta dish she did for Sheridan Road, but this also didn't sound like "completely melting" to me. I think she’s remembering another time here, a different memory that we haven't seen yet - or perhaps foreshadowing melting in the future.
I’m also interested in how the writers have made Sydney so similar to both Carmy and Mikey, two characters who we know have struggled with extremely poor mental health.
Now, Sydney and Carmy's clothes (think matching jumpers, uniforms, the Thom Browne connection - see post here), language (see this post), and even their names (see here) show how similar they are. This post, however, made me realise how much the writers have also made Sydney mirror Mikey. Maybe the writers are hinting at a similar spiral (although I couldn't imagine this involving drugs specifically, which is something we've never seen referred to in the context of Sydney).
When Mikey was spiralling, Carmy was away - he didn’t even know Mikey was using drugs, and he didn't go home in the immediate aftermath. Likewise, in 2x10, Carmy is (for all intents and purposes) away and unable to help Sydney when she begins to lose control of the situation. Just as with Mikey, Richie is the one who is available - and, this time, he’s able to save the day.
Generally, Sydney appears relatively stable on the surface, particularly when we compare her to some of the Berzatto family - but I think this is at least partly a case of her being a character who doesn't let her emotions show as much. My own theory for S3 is that the above is either hinting at a larger spiral for Sydney, or is some heavy hinting for Sydney's backstory, which I hope to God we get to see more of.

(yes this is me begging you to beg me to write it)

House of the Dragon 1x08 Saison 1 Episode 8 streaming Série tv français 2022 Complet VF
House of the Dragon 1x08 Saison 1 Episode 8 Regarder Série tv - https://hotd-1x08-vf.blogspot.com/

Debris: speculation and what we know so far about...
Bryan
The character is from Texas, has no siblings, and his parents are both alive.
He served in MARSOC (Marine Special Forces) in Afghanistan, where he was in a military prison in some capacity (officer or detainee unclear, but an alternate reality he's called a war criminal, so he's likely detained).
FWIW, I'm a little surprised that in an alternative reality Bryan wasn't a part of Influx. He shares a similar kind of backstory with Anson Ash.
He carries a baseball on the plane like a momento stress ball (1x03).
He eats...a lot, literally thinks with his stomach, seemingly indiscriminately (#you could just pull up a chair to the buffet). Stale Peeps, weeks old sandwiches, rewarmed burritos, anything from the minibar, etc. Maybe he was a smoker in the time before and it killed his sense of taste. Or he just has an iron stomach from his time on active duty. In any case, food seems to be his unconditional OTP. I request a GIF supercut.
He seems to know a bunch of field operatives (Lester, Sharon, John the ME, Muntz, Beck from containment) from various Orbital teams, perhaps even worked cases with a few, along with everyone in Maddox's office. He's very cordial so presumably he likes them, but in stark contrast at least half seem to decidedly dislike him with baiting antagonism, some openly hostile. Sharon: "why are you smirking at me Bryan?" Muntz, the Laghari lab tech: "I've come across plenty like you...men who play by their own rules." Beck: "They only send in the A-team when they want the agents to survive...easy for you to say, I'm the one who had to tell his wife". No wonder he feels a bit ostracized. Perhaps his reputation (impulsive?) proceeds him or perhaps he's been labeled an "unlucky" partner that misfortune follows so he gets kept at a distance?
The exception to the above seems to be Gary Garcia, the former scientist that helps hide George. May be former partners if the audio during credit rolls is any indication, and knows about Bryan's health / injections. They appear close. Perhaps because they share a mentality: both presumably injured in their line of work at Orbital, and they know what it means to have to rely on yourself.
When we meet Finola and Bryan, it seems like they've been working together for a few weeks, stateside at least (Finola's quote 1x02: Been here 3 weeks, feels like 3 years) and that he's had at least two Orbital partners prior, one (Julian / Jules) that died on duty, and the other creepy Dutch guy still living, Niels. How many more partners has he been through? Is it protocol that they get reassigned/shuffled so often to follow the debris, or so as not to form attachments "This job is about being alone, it's supposed to be...we're a blip in other people's lives", or does his personality not play well with others, like from the pilot when he tells Finola "it's been a long time since I've worked with somebody who's looked at me like another human being."
Also in 1x01 when Bryan says, "So are we now saying the debris pulled [Kieran] from the ground and added meat to his bones" and Finola says no, he was cremated, Bryan looks almost disappointed like he was momentarily more hopeful than pragmatic. At first I thought this was just a lead up to introducing the fact that George Jones was alive, but maybe another plot point is that Bryan has lost someone in duty he wants back.
He carries a picture in his front pocket of a woman with some Persian/ Farsi(?) or Urdu(?) written on the back. It's hard to tell by the script, it could be neither. When confronted by that, his clone says "I can't let it go." Old flame that was lost? Or a partner of a fallen service member killed in action —I've lost brothers— that he couldn't save (is that part of Bryan's dark guilt / grief)? Civilian casualty of a Marine mission? In the pilot when he tells Isla "you have to tell her how much you need her, I know from experience...You will not be able to forgive yourself if you don't" is Bryan thinking of this woman?
EDIT: considering the next episode is called "Asalah," which could be a woman's name, maybe that's part of the text on the back of the photo. Pure speculation.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He counts on himself to be level and composed when it comes to his emotions and apologizes when he isn't. He loses that composure in the pilot when Isla talks about family therapy and fighting with her mother after Kieran's death: "I knew someone like her once." Was Bryan referring to himself, has he been through post-service therapy? Perhaps he developed a rift with his family or left home at an early age like she did?
Bryan would be great at pub trivia night. He always seems to have an odd fact ready about NASA tech, native legends, an article about a historical building that he read, Fleetwood PA, etc. He doesn't seem the type to keep facts on standby to impress, so perhaps he's a secret bibliophile even though Finola hassles him for not reading case files.
"Fin: Maybe we should run some more tests before we continue/ Bryan: I will cut bait if you want to / Fin; let's just look out for each other" 1x02 Bryan seems more cautious than impulsive, he does a good job of listening to Finola's concerns. Is that from experience? Did he get overconfident, mishandle debris, and get permanently injured, hence the frequent blood work and injections?
"This man saved my life." Why does Bryan trust Maddox implicitly? And when Maddox says in 1x07 "Investigate quietly. I want to keep the lights off. I don't want to lose anymore lives, Bryan, okay?" is that a word of warning specially for him? Does he have a body count? (see afforementioned question of frequent work partners turnover and having an unlucky reputation)
Bryan in protective of Finola when the CIA taps her apartment. It's the straw that turns his allegiance from his agency to his partner.
I still can't place why Bryan carries a baseball — it seems like it could be a red herring, but I can't get over the visual of Maddox playing catch with Dario and reading into it as some sort of surrogate bond — or why he has a chain around his neck (1x05). It's not service tags and probably not a ring, it's some kind of pendant: a large loop encircling a dull, perhaps tarnished, gray metallic disc. A patron saint? A piece of shrapnel? A piece of debris? Unclear, but it definitely has texture or an etching.
Top Bryan Quotes
"That's the job. Impossible." 1x01 Pilot
"We are supposed to be blips in these people's lives, not memories." 1x04 In Universe
"It's been a long time since I've worked with somebody who's looked at me like another human being." 1x01
"Zippo lighters, Pyrex glassware, Crayola crayons, and of course Peeps. Insane for peeps, cracklike...we owe the people of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania a great deal of gratitude and I am not afraid to say it." 1x02 You Are Not Alone
"I've been thinking, [about] Finola.. if MI6 knew her father was still alive they would take her out of here. We need to get home before this becomes an issue...this is going to affect her." 1x03 Solar Winds, when he's not sure how her father will affect her empathetic-based decision-making
Craig: "You hated the creepy Dutch guy." / Bryan: "He was adorable."
"Well, one of my tips for survival, Muntz, is always let the other guy touch the debris first." 1x03 So is that what happened to Garcia?
To Finola "I realize I tend to forget that there's still magic to discover in the world. But not you." 1x03
"There are things that you understand about life that I don't, and I respect that. But there are things that I know that you will not find very palatable...I am going to focus on the people that we're saving and not the ones that we can't." 1x04
"If we don't act, we might not be able to stop the terraforming. There's no way we're going to be able to win all these, and I know that every cell in your body right now is screaming for you to do what you think is right. I need you to go against that. I need you to trust me." 1x04
"Finola's capable. I trust her instincts." 1x08 Spaceman
"I'm running on sugar and coffee for the rest of the day" 1x07 You Can Call Her Caroline, but really isn't that Bryan everyday?
"When I tell you that I understand, it's not empty...I lost brothers. It destroys families. There are people who can help you with what you're going through right now...There is a way to get back from this pain. I was where you were, and the darkness almost ended me. And somebody put out his hand... I want to be there for you." 1x07
"I'm trying to get back to someone. It's very important to me." 1x09 Do You Know Icarus?

A/N: Yet another story based on that gunshot in the trailer for episode 1x08.
The title means "don't die before your time". It's from Zaz's song lyrics "La lessive"
Also on AO3
-----
The noise of the weapon discharging six feet from them reverberates inside Paul’s skull for several moments. He gasps, blinks rapidly, ringing in his ears deafening and only regains his composure a terrifyingly long blink-of-an-eye later, when TK staggers back and collides with him.
Paul immediately realizes what happened.
“TK, you hit?” he screams at the top of his lungs, scrambling to catch a falling colleague. The shooter is still right there, in front of them, but Paul’s attention is solely on TK now. Like in slow motion, TK falls to the floor and Paul tries to hold his head, to break the inevitable impact. TK falls slowly, but Paul’s hands are slower, clumsy, unable to keep up with the synapses firing inside his brain, screaming at him to Do Something!
People around them move, scream, yell, there’s another gunshot, there’s a sound of a body being tackled to the floor and Paul rips open TK’s uniform. There’s a bright red flower blooming up on the left side of TK’s undershirt.
Paul rips that open too. Marjan is right next to him, gauze ready to staunch the bleeding and she lifts TK to take a look at his back.
“It’s through-and-through.” Good, that, at least is a relief. Also, the location of the entry wound gives hope that no major organs were hit.
The only distressing thing is the fact that TK is completely unresponsive. Paul looks at his face, at his wide-open unseeing eyes and presses two fingers to his neck and feels the warm skin jump up and down, rhythmically.
“Pulse is rapid, but steady,” he utters.
Michelle’s already there and she urges him to step aside, let her work. Nancy and Tim also move around TK with skilled proficiency and it doesn’t take more than a minute from the moment the shot sounded, to the moment TK is loaded up on a stretcher and wheeled away.
Paul exhales from the deepest bottom of his guts. Marjan’s hand is on his bicep and he can feel it tremble.
“He’s gonna be okay,” she whispers.
“Michelle, wait!” Owen rushes past them, frantic and clearly upset, but he returns a moment later, stays to supervise them clearing the scene, competent and focused, as always.
-----
They arrive at the hospital less than half-an-hour later. Owen requested 126 be taken off the rooster, because one of their own has been injured and they gather in the lobby. Michelle’s there and she smiles when she sees them.
“He’s alright,” she tells Owen and they can all see the way he visibly uncoils. He sits down, elbows on his knees and wipes his face. Then he looks up at Michelle. “What did they tell you?”
“Not much. Just that it was a clean through-and-through, no organs or major arteries were damaged, he didn’t even lose too much blood. They’re stitching him up. I guess you can go and see him.”
Owen’s back on his feet in an instant.
“The kid’s lucky,” Judd utters after the Cap has gone through the glass door. They can all hear how much his voice is shaking. He’s kept it together, for the Cap’s sake, but now, all of a sudden, Paul and Marjan and Mateo have a two-hundred-pounds of a sobbing fireman on their hands. “I’m sorry,” he tries, as Marjan leads him to a chair, but they all tell him it’s nonsense to apologize and they hug him and Paul feels the stress of that call leave him a shaking mess just the same.
They are relieved for all of two minutes.
Owen comes back much sooner than they expected, his face grim and worried.
“What’s wrong, Cap?” Mateo is first on his feet.
“Owen?” Michelle’s also right at his side.
“They wouldn’t let me in,” Owen gripes, wriggling his hands. “They’re waiting for a consult.”
“Did they explain why?” Michelle asks and Paul can see she’s ready to go in there and drill into someone on Owen’s behalf, if what he says doesn’t measure up to her expectation.
Owen looks at her and Paul had never, ever seen his Captain this helpless.
He shrugs. “They say he’s still unresponsive.”
-----
Several hours later they know there’s nothing physically wrong with TK. He’s stitched up and his gunshot wound is already healing. Blood loss wasn’t significant enough to cause brain damage, CT scan and MRI don’t show any traumatic injury. His eyes are open, though appear unseeing; yet he reacts to light. He gives no verbal response whatsoever and withdraws from pain. It doesn’t seem neurological, but the doctors ordered more neurological tests, which he mostly passes, one by one.
He doesn’t speak, doesn’t seem to acknowledge anyone’s presence in his room, doesn’t make a move. The doctor says it’s probably so-called shell-shock. Not in the medical sense, like when a body loses too much blood, but psychological. A shutdown. Then he asks to speak privately with Owen and they leave. Owen is gone for almost an hour.
The team is encouraged to stay with TK, though, to talk to him, one at the time. When it’s Paul’s turn – again – and he passes Mateo in the door, the kid’s cheeks are stained with tears.
“I don’t know if I can keep doing this,” Mateo tells him. “Why won’t he wake up?”
Paul wishes he had an answer.
While he seats at TK’s bedside, holding TK’s limp hand in his, Carlos comes in.
“I just heard,” he breathes out. “How bad is it?”
“Physically,” Paul sighs, “he should be home already. But mentally? He shut down, like--" a thought occurs in Paul’s head and he knows himself enough to realize this is the kind of thought he can’t keep to himself, no matter how much he doesn’t want to say it out loud. “It’s like he expected to die from that shot and his brain can’t catch up to the reality that he’s alive.”
What Carlos says then, fills in the gaps in Paul’s perception of TK.
“You think he wanted to die?”
Yes, he did. Paul looks at TK and he knows this is the correct answer.
Carlos slumps to the seat on the other side of TK’s bed and grabs his other hand, careful about the IV and at the monitor attached to it. He brushes his lips against TK’s knuckles.
“You don’t get to die, Tiger,” he whispers. “Not yet, you can’t. I know it’s hard, I know everything is so overwhelming, but you will get through this and it will get better, I promise.”
Paul stays quiet, but inside, he smacks himself upside the head. How could he not have seen this? True, TK never complained, kept up the game, but underneath that upbeat exterior, he suffered. His father was sick, TK must have worried, even if he never showed it. He helped the Old Man keep it a secret for months. Before that, there was that bad breakup in New York no one knew anything about. Keeping it all in – that must have cost him a great deal. Paul has always prided himself on noticing things and patterns everyone else missed, but here – he missed all the clues just like the rest of them.
Neither of them thought to ask how he was doing, even after the Captain had told them he was sick.
“I’m right here, TK,” Carlos keeps talking. “I’m right here with you and if you let me, I will help you see the good things, the things that make life worth living. I know right now it’s hard to believe there’s anything in this world for you. I know you’re hurting. I know you feel completely alone, or that you don’t deserve good things, but TK, believe me, this is only your brain lying to you. You deserve everything that’s good. And you have friends. See, there’s Paul, right here. Your other friends are just out the door, Marjan, Mateo. Even Judd, I know you like him even if you won’t admit it. I am here.” The rhythm of TK’s heart picks up and Paul tears his gaze away from Carlos’s anguished face just in time to see TK close his eyes. A tear escapes down the side of his face. His breath hitches a little. “You can hear me.” Carlos kisses his knuckles again. “You are here. And you will fight. And I will fight right along with you.”
He stands up, pulls away the cables attached to TK and leans over his face. He places his hand on TK’s cheek in a soft caress, then leans closer and gently kisses the side of his forehead.
TK’s hand, the one Carlos held earlier, lifts searching for an anchor. Finds Carlos’s side. TK lets out a quiet breath, almost like he wants to say something.
There is a long road ahead of him. No easy fix to such deep mental wounds, but Paul knows he is going to heal.
