7 December 1941. The Imperial Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and other US military installations was considered a "Success" by many in Tokyo despite the fact that the main targets of the carriers and fuel depot escaped unscathed. In reality it amounted to an act of suicide on the part of the Imperial Japanese, they managed to piss off every American about the same thing at the same time.
