This is random but what kind of music do you think Roman Sionis and Oswald Cobblepot listen to?

I think about this a lot and I’m really never 100 sure, like I’ll listen to songs that make me think ‘this reminds me of [character], but I don’t think they’d ever listen to it’.

They both often run/own clubs/entertainment venues, but I don’t think either of them have a huge hand in picking the music. Like, they’ll pick a vibe and hire a DJ that fits.

But I will give you my best estimations below:

I think his tastes would vary a lot between portrayals, with some minor crossover.

BTAs: Classical, maybe even operatic/musical, classic English/euro rock, swing, maybe even a bit of jazz.

Queen, Dean Martin, W.S Gilbert

Arkham: 100% 70/80s British punk, and again with swing and jazz.

Buzzcocks, Peggy Lee, Chet Baker

Gotham: Also punk, but probably more underground, American punk. I also think he's listen to a lot of ballet/classical, things that remind him of this mother.

Rancid, The Killing Tree, Tchaikovsky

2022: 100% A rat pack fan, swing, jazz, R&B, crooner. Things that are smooth listening.

Roman:

I don't think his taste would vary as much between portrayals. I can kind of imagine him overhearing like modern techno, drum and bassy/rave music at one of his clubs, and enjoying them, probably has some faves, but he's not deliberately seeking that kind of music out.

I think he's also a ratpack kind of guy, he likes a jazz and and a bit of swing, but otherwise not he's not too into the oldies. I think maybe alternative rock, maybe some industrial style, dare I say a pinch of dad rock perhaps.

I'm not saying the examples are 100% what they listen too, but they kind of encapsulate the vibe.

So first things first, I uploaded some new color actions and finally updated my color palette (it'll be the above one), you can find these actions from my Pillowfort in the top of the Color Actions Masterlist

That reminded me that I never talked about the fact that since I moved Naberius into custom bin from blonde I've been custom binning it so it should behave like normal hairs in terms of inheritance (as in, if your sim has Naberius hair and has child with another sim with different hair color they should/could get a child with any other Naberius-custom binned hair not just the exact same hair like happens with fully custom hairs) I did the same with Ryuu when I added it and now Rosa too and the bins I've been using are:

Naberius - 000D1611-4000-0000-0000-000000000000 Ryuu - 000D1612-4000-0000-0000-000000000000 Rosa - 000D1613-4000-0000-0000-000000000000 (in hair tone xml & property sets changed family and hairtone lines to those, same for both lines)

Due this change I updated the two hairs recolored in Rosa before this to follow this new binning and thus if you'd like to have Peggy Mh071101 and Nozomu Gilbert with custom binned Rosa you can grab those from the above links. I haven't updated the original uploads of them so let those overwrite the existing colors (unless of course you prefer having one extra red in the red bin, I won't judge)

I don't think anybody uses those colors aside of me but if you do it would be really cool if you added them to their custom bins but no pressure if you don't want to. 😅

Hey everybody, I’m back on my bullshit.

So remember about that Laurette post?  I want to show you another ship that happens in this scene. 

Please, I beg all of you to re-watch this scene : when we hear the borning flame of passion between Angelica and Hamilton, there’s Lafayette and Peggy too.  For the context, Lafayette was trying to dance with Angelica (and he seems to have a little crush on her, since in “Schuyler Sisters”, he was trying to take the Angelica’s pamphlet from Burr, Burr who was trying to taunt him with that)  And then it happens : LAFAYETTE FUCKING JUMP AT THE SIGH OF PEGGY.  I mean, the subtext is JUST THERE.  But let’s focus a bit more on Lafayette in this scene : 

For all the “satisfied” song we dont see him dancing with ANYONE, it’s canon that Lafayette (the historical figure) was really bad at dancing, so it might explain his behavior, trying to dodge any invitation (Like he’s talking with some women and flee after like a fucking butterfly)  Then, we have the laurette bromance scene. 

And Laurens is dancing with Peggy (yes I know, Ramos and Jazzy was a thing back then, so there’s strong chances that Lin let them have a little choregraphy together as a treat). 

Does this love triangle end there ? Not really since at the wedding...

(what the fuck are you telling her Laf ????) And the look Peggy sends to Laurens who’s just next to her. 

What does it mean Crys ? I dont have a fucking clue, but fortunately we have headcanons, fanfictions and fanarts for that.
