The National Armed Forces received two new aircraft shortly before the national holiday. The new aircraft are manufactured right here in Latvia. The planes are very manoeuvrable, can reach speeds of up to 350 kilometers per hour and consume a relatively small amount of fuel(..)  [Aircraft manufactured in Latvia are the fastest aircraft of this type in the world. This is the company's first experience in cooperation with the military sphere, which turned out to be very successful. Airplanes for private individuals have been produced so far.]

The small, light aircraft will be used for pilot and crew training, as well as for maintaining qualifications and ensuring operational tasks.

The Tarragon is a two-seater plane with a top speed of 370 kilometers per hour, a range of 1,300 km and a ceiling of 3,500 meters. It can operate from very small airstrips with a landing distance on asphalt surface of just 150 meters, and a minimum take-off distance of 225 meters. Both wingspan and plane length ae comfortably under 8 meters(..).

Year of construction: 10.2018.;  Engine: UL-Power 390i, 140 hp @ 3300 rpm / 130 hp @ 2800 rpm. Propeller: FP Propeller 2 Blade, In-flight Variable Pitch Propeller, Spinner and backplate- Carbon Fiber.
