Additional Characters: May and Gwen (Mentioned)
WC: 4,211
Warnings: Angst to fluff, shy Reader, awkwardness, anxiety, fighting (verbal, nothing bad), crying, Gwen's death mentioned, awkward tension, Peter needs a hug, and fluff
Letting out a breath, you tried to shudder the anxiety away as you entered the library of your college campus. Spotting the person you had been looking for, you nervously wandered over. Stopping at his table where he was studying, you gazed over his appearance, taking in the blue shirt, dark green jacket, and dark blue jeans; everything about him screamed nerd.
His name was Peter Parker, and you had a massive crush on him since high school. You didn't think he would remember you, but it took almost four months for you to get the courage to even speak to him. You needed help with Biology, you were failing and you needed his help. You knew Peter was smart, he was practically a genius.
Clearing your throat softly, Peter looked up, making your breath hitch slightly as you gave him a small shy smile. "Uh, hi, uh may I sit?" You asked, gesturing to the chair in front of you and across from him.
Peter looked at you for a quick moment before giving you a polite smile and nodding. "Yeah, sure. Go ahead." He spoke quietly, before getting back to his work.
You slid the chair out, sitting down before him as you sat your bag on the table. You glanced at him briefly, pulling out a notebook from your bag to make it seem like you were going to work on something and weren't just there to sit there and watch him like a creep. You grabbed a red pen, opened your notebook, and wrote down gibberish and random drawings before you glanced up at him again, taking in the way his soft brown hair fell into his eyes. You swallowed thickly, averting your gaze as a flush covered your cheeks. Your heart pounded painfully in your chest. He was so handsome, even when concentrating on his studies. "Um, so, I, uh... I don't think you remember me... But I used to go to high school with you." You began, gaining the young man's attention as he looked at you curiously. "We had Mrs. Webbers and Mr. French's class together."
Peter pursed his lips in thought, tilting his head slightly, "Webber... Webber..." He muttered, thinking, "Webber... Oh. Y/N?" He asked and you nodded rapidly.
"Uh, yeah. That's me. I, uh, was wondering if you could help tutor me in Biology. I, heh, I'm failing and I don't want to drop the class. And you're smart so I was wondering if you could help me?" You asked, only to get no response, worrying you. "Uh, I can pay you for your time. I just need a little bit of help with some of the coursework and homework. I promise I'll pay you for your time and stuff like that." You ranted, glancing up at him with flushed cheeks as you regretfully continued, "I mean... You don't have to if you don't want to-"
"I'll do it." Peter interrupted you, making your eyes widen slightly.
"What?" You asked softly, "Really?"
Peter nodded, shutting his textbook. "Yeah, I'll tutor you. It's not like it's a big deal."
Your eyes lit up, "Oh, thank you!" You exclaimed, getting a harsh shush from the librarian as you ducked your head down in embarrassment before you continued, "Thank you, Peter. Uh, when are you free?"
Peter smiled softly, "I'm free after school on Fridays. Is that good for you?" He asked and you quickly nodded.
"Yeah, Friday's work for me. Where would you like to meet up?" You asked as you began to write down your number on a page from your notebook.
"Is my apartment alright? We can go to yours if not." He spoke and you nodded again.
"Yeah, your apartment works." You answered, ripping the page from the notebook and sliding it across the table. "Here's my number. Thank you again, Peter." You spoke, before grabbing your bag and rushing out of the library.
Peter grabbed the paper, smiling slightly at the small drawings and random song lyrics you had drawn and written on the page along with your number. He folded the paper and quickly pocketed it, before going back to his work. Peter remembered you from high school, remembering you to be pretty kind. He remembered that you were in a couple of clubs, even his photography club. He could even clearly remember your backpack, Y/F/C with black stripes. Peter felt pretty awkward, not knowing much about you apart from your name. Peter actually hoped that this tutoring would go by swiftly, honestly, he did not mind helping you with Biology but he felt awkward.
~~~
You climbed up the stairs of Peter's apartment building, your backpack weighing heavily on your back and shoulders as you climbed up and up. It was Friday, a little bit after school, only an hour, and the first day of tutoring. You were beyond nervous. Thinking about how you were going to be in a room with Peter and Peter alone, made you anxious. The butterflies in your stomach wouldn’t calm themselves, and it seemed they never would stop fluttering. You kicked yourself mentally, trying to calm yourself down and tell yourself how dumb it was crushing on a guy who'd never like you back.
You adjusted your bag and let out a breath before you knocked on the apartment door, standing there awkwardly as you heard footsteps on the other side. Opening the door, an older woman stood there, a small sweet yet confused smile on her face.
"May I help you, dear?" She asked as you nodded, returning the smile.
"Yes, uh, Peter's tutoring me today." You answered and the woman's eyes widened in realization before she nodded and opened the door wider, letting you in.
"Of course, I remember now, Peter told me. Come on in, dear." She spoke, shutting the door behind you, "I’m Peter’s Aunt, you can call me May." She spoke, offering you her hand to shake.
"I'm Y/N, it's nice to meet you, May." You shook her hand softly, as May's smile widened.
"Well, Peter's in his room. That boy's got to remember his manners and guests sometimes." She chuckled lightly. You said nothing as she led you to Peter's room, knocking on the door. The door opened and Peter's eyes widened when he met yours. "Peter, you forgot about your tutoring session already?" May lightly scolded, making Peter cast his gaze down sheepishly as he shrugged one shoulder.
"Sorry, May." He spoke softly as she just sighed, turning to you.
"Let me know if you need anything, dear." She spoke before she left down the hall leaving you to stand at Peter's bedroom door.
Peter cleared his throat before opening his door wider, allowing you to enter. "Sorry about the mess." He spoke up, "I, uh, forgot you were coming over." He explained, watching him as he scooted a few piles of books out of the way.
You looked around the room in awe, looking at the various posters on the wall and the polaroids on his corkboard, "It's fine. Honestly." You spoke up, "I understand."
Peter pushed more stuff off of his bed, before stuffing his hands into his sweater pockets. "Well, uh, do you want to sit at my desk or the bed?"
You glanced at each spot, biting your lip briefly, "I- I'm fine with either."
Peter nodded and sat down on his bed, and you turned to sit at his desk, setting your bag on the floor at your feet. It was silent for a moment before Peter spoke up. "So, let's do this then. What are you having trouble with?" He asked and you unzipped your bag, taking out your Biology notebook and textbook.
"Well, I am having trouble with Charles Darwin's theory of evolution." You admitted, flipping through the pages of your book until you reached the chapter you wanted.
Peter nodded slowly, leaning forward to grab the textbook you had brought out of your bag. For the next hour or so, Peter helped explain everything you had a problem with, answering your questions perfectly before even giving you a few notes of his own from the course. Tension was still high in the air, but it was a little bit easier to breathe, both of you seeming to get comfortable around one another after a while.
You slowly found yourself staring at Peter, noticing how his eyelashes flickered against his cheekbones every once in a while. Your fingers twitched ever so slightly, as though wanting to reach out and touch him, but you refrained. His eyes flickered as he looked at his textbook before he raised his head to look at you. He tilted his head, noticing your staring as you blinked your eyes and quickly looked away.
Peter pursed his lips, looking at you for a moment before looking back down at his textbook. He hadn't been dreaming, you had been staring at him, and he did catch you. Why were you staring at him? He thought to himself, furrowing his brows as he tried to figure out why you were staring at him. Did he have something on his face?
~~~
For the next month or two, you went over to Peter's apartment, learning more and more about Biology that you were almost not failing at anymore. You had grown closer to the young man, enough that you would sometimes joke around with him and have conversations outside of evolution. You felt at ease with Peter, but you could see that Peter was still acting weird around you. He'd joke around with you and laugh with you one minute but then he'd get all distant and tense a minute later. Sadly, he never got out of that... Tension until after you’d leave. You were confused. Was he alright? Have you done something wrong? Said something wrong? You'd try to bring it up sometimes but Peter would always change the subject.
You would get some clarity the next tutoring session, sitting side-by-side on Peter's bed, textbooks in your laps. The room was quiet except for Peter lecturing you about something, but you hadn't been fully paying attention. Your eyes were on him, watching as he moved his mouth and the words came out. He looked cute, really cute. You could've watched him talk forever. But you snapped out of it when he called your name.
"Y/N. Have you been listening at all?" He asked with a deep sigh and you sat up abruptly, feeling your face flush as you bit your lip.
"I- I'm sorry. I was a bit distracted." You spoke sheepishly, as Peter raised an eyebrow.
"Distracted by what? Me?" He asked, and you rapidly shook your head with wide eyes.
"No! You are just in the way while I was daydreaming. My eyes were just there." You tried to make up an excuse as Peter slightly narrowed his eyes.
"Well, would you please stop? You asked me to help you, so can you please just try and pay attention?" He snapped, causing you to frown in pain.
"Okay, okay. Sorry." You whispered, dropping your gaze to the ground and biting your lip. Silence filled the room again as you sat in silence before Peter just sighed again and snapped his textbook closed, startling you slightly.
"I think we should stop for today." He spoke and you turned to look at him.
"Wait, please, no, I'll pay attention." You pleaded as Peter shook his head.
"No, Y/N. What's the point in helping you if you won't pay attention?" Peter argued.
"But-"
"Look, I think you should just go." He cut you off.
You swallowed thickly as you opened your mouth to speak, thinking maybe you could convince him, but you shut your mouth, clenching your jaw as you nodded. Getting up, you shoved your stuff in your bag and quickly left the room, feeling tears of frustration towards yourself well up in your eyes.
Peter let out a deep sigh, falling back on his bed as he rubbed his eyes. Peter knew he wasn't being fair. He didn't mean to snap at you like that, he truly regretted it and hoped you didn't take it too hard. He knew he shouldn't have gotten so angry; you didn't deserve it. He just couldn't help it.
After Gwen's death... Peter had gotten so bitter. He wasn't sure when the anger had started, only that it had. He had spent months locked up, trying to escape from his thoughts and memories of her that haunted him day and night. He fell into a depression, barely eating, hardly sleeping. He couldn't even be the Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman. There was no Spiderman without Gwen Stacy. There was no Peter Parker without Gwen Stacy.
But when Peter started tutoring you, getting to know you more than the girl who he just shared classes with in high school, Peter felt himself coming to like you. Like you, he liked Gwen. And Peter hated himself for that. Soon all he could think about was you. If you were having a good day, or what you were eating for dinner. He felt better than he had in a long, long time, but then Peter would feel as if he was abandoning Gwen. The guilt that weighed on him was horrible, and the constant feeling of grief made him feel sick.
So he was pushing you away because he feared that if he let you in, he'd lose what he had left with Gwen. Even when you were in his room with him, when he looked at you, he'd see Gwen. She was haunting him, his mind morphing your face into hers, his heart breaking all over again. So he pushed you away. As he stared at the ceiling above him, he felt his chest tighten in regret. He was such a coward. A selfish idiot.
He tried to forget the hurt he saw in your eyes, but it always crept up on him like a thief. He wished there was some way to take those feelings away, but there wasn't. Every time he closed his eyes, all he saw was you. He missed Gwen. He missed her so much. Her laugh and smile, her soft voice, her warm hugs and kisses, her loving words. Everything. Everything reminded him of Gwen, every small thing. He knew deep down Gwen would've wanted him to move on, to get over her death and stop wallowing in sorrow; to be Spider-Man again and fall in love again. But Peter was stubborn. He was a stubborn and selfish idiot. How could he let himself fall in love again?
~~~
You tried your best to avoid Peter as much as you could, even in Biology. You used to sit right at the front near Peter, but you opted to sit in the back. The rest of the school week went on without any further incidents between the two of you until the weekend finally arrived. Friday morning, you woke up early, got ready for classes, and made sure to find some food for breakfast. You went from class to class, taking a lunch break at the nearby Taco Time, before going back to your last few classes. After you got home from school, you grabbed a snack from the kitchen, grabbed your laptop from your bedroom, and settled on the couch for a little movie binge while you ate. You were halfway through your third rice krispie treat when there was a light knock at your door.
You paused, mid-crunch on your sweet treat as you heard someone knock again. You groaned softly, getting up from the couch. Walking up to the door, you looked through the peephole and sighed. You knew that slightly unkempt brown hair anywhere. Unlocking the door, you opened it slightly, looking up at Peter with a frown. He mirrored that frown, but his eyes held some sort of urgency. Why was he here?
"What are you doing here, Peter?" You asked and you guess your tone was a bit harsh because he took a step back, holding his hands up defensively.
"I need to talk to you. Can I come in?" He asked and you bit your lip before slowly stepping aside, nodding. He walked in, standing awkwardly as you closed the door behind him. "Y/N, I..." He trailed off, running a hand through his hair as he stared at the floor. You waited for him to continue, but he stayed silent. It seemed like hours passed but it was only seconded. Finally, you gave in.
"Spit it out, Peter." You said sternly, passing him to sit back down on the couch.
"I'm sorry, for snapping at you. It was... Stupid of me to get so frustrated at you." He said, glancing at you, "Can you forgive me?" He added quietly and your heart twisted at the sight of Peter looking so dejected. You were tempted to tell him that yes, of course, you forgave him, but you hesitated, biting your lip.
"I don't know, Peter..." You began, "I would like an explanation."
Peter took his chance to take a seat on the couch beside you, giving you enough room so you were comfortable. He sat there, fiddling with his hands in his lap as he stared down at your carpet.
"It's complicated." He began, "I don't really know where to start." He stated, avoiding eye contact. You frowned deeply. "I, uh, kind of... Like you." He finally admitted, glancing up at you nervously as you looked up at him.
"Oh, um," You replied lamely and suddenly you felt a lot less confident, "Like, like how, exactly?" You questioned, feeling awkward and shy, as Peter glanced at you once more.
"You're just... Really pretty." He muttered with a small anxious smile. You blushed heavily and ducked your head, looking away.
"You too, but," You began, glancing up at him confused, "What's that got to do with anything?" You asked with a hint of exasperation.
"Nothing... Uh, yeah nothing." Peter quickly stuttered out, and you raised an eyebrow, even more so confused now than ever.
"Then... Why would you bring that up at all then?" You asked and Peter pursed his lips, mentally hitting himself. "If it doesn't have to do with why you were so..." You trailed off, trying to think of the right word, "Harsh?"
Peter let out a shaky breath, staring intently at his fingers as he twitched and flexed them repeatedly.
"Well, it is complicated." He mumbled once more.
"So explain it to me, then!" You exclaimed, annoyed, and Peter looked at you with wide eyes, "If you want to tell me, tell me. But please don't go around the mulberry bush and just cut to the chase, please." You felt your eyes well up with frustrated tears.
"I shouldn't like you." Peter suddenly spoke, confusing the heck out of you.
You furrowed your eyebrows, your brain feeling like it was overheating as you tried to think, "Shouldn't like me? Why?"
Peter just whispered, "It's not fair to her."
"Her? Who?" You asked, as a million questions ran through your mind.
"... Gwen..." Peter answered simply, still not making direct eye contact with you.
You raked through your brain, repeating the name softly as you did so, "Gwen... Gwen..." And then... It came to you. And you frowned deeply. "Oh."
You knew Gwen briefly in high school. You knew Peter and Gwen were friends or a couple at one point, but you hadn't thought about her in years. You remembered her to be a sweet and nice girl, even though she was popular, she wasn't mean to anyone, which was nice. You shared Math with her. You remembered when you heard that she died, it was heartbreaking, someone so young losing the rest of their life. She didn't deserve to die.
"I loved her," Peter spoke up, looking at you almost pleadingly. You blinked, surprised by his admission. "She meant everything to me. Everything." You didn't speak, knowing he needed to let it all out. "I feel guilty, Y/N. Guilty that I couldn't save her." Peter said in a broken tone and you reached forward, grasping one of his hands and squeezing it gently, trying to offer some comfort. He squeezed back, his grip tightening on your hand. "She was my first kiss, my first girlfriend. My first love." He continued, "And I feel guilty for liking you the way I do. I feel like I am abandoning her." He finished, letting go of your hand and burying his face in his hands.
You pushed your excitement to the back of your mind before you spoke, "That's not true," You murmured softly, rubbing circles on his back, trying to calm him down, "I think Gwen would want you to be happy."
Peter pursed his lips, before looking up at you, tears in his eyes, "I miss her so much," He confessed, "I can't stop thinking about her."
"I'm sorry, Peter," You began, "I wish there was something I could do."
Peter bit his bottom lip, glancing at you, "Could you... Could you hold me?" He asked, "Please."
You nodded, pulling Peter into your arms as he wrapped his own around your torso, hiding his face in the crook of your neck. Peter gripped the back of your shirt tightly, clinging to you as if his life depended on it. You let him cry for as long as he needed to. Your heart broke for him. You had never seen him look so vulnerable and hopeless, he was practically sobbing, his breaths ragged. You rubbed comforting circles on his back as he let out the emotions he had bottled up inside. You wished you could do something for him, you wished you could take away his pain. And the thought of Peter having feelings for you made your heart skip, but you wouldn't push Peter. You loved Peter very much, but you respected him too much to make any moves without him being ready. Besides, you wanted to give him time to heal from his loss. You were content just being Peter's friend, him being in your life in general was already more than enough.
As Peter pulled away, you wiped away the tears on his cheeks with the soft pads of your thumbs, Peter's hands wrapping gently around your wrists, holding your hands there. He shut his eyes, taking in deep breaths as he steadied himself. Once he seemed composed again, you smiled softly at him, offering him a reassuring grin.
"There we go." You said softly, stroking his cheek. He smiled weakly at you, looking down.
"Thank you." He said.
"Of course." You replied simply and he moved to sit beside you on the couch, turning to look at you. You followed suit and turned your body to face him.
"Y/N..." He began, clearing his throat, "I'd like to... To take you out sometime. On a date." He continued to confess and you smiled up at him sadly.
"Peter, I'd love to, but I don't want to push or rush you. If you want to wait to see if you'll ever be ready or not-"
"No, I'd also like to apologize for being a real jerk to you," Peter told you and you sighed.
"I won't pressure you into doing anything you aren't ready for." You assured him, "You don't have to take me out on a date to apologize. It's okay."
"No, no, it isn't," He insisted, "I want to ask you. I do. So if you don't want to go, you don't have to. But... I wanna take you on a date. I really, really like you, Y/N."
You felt your lips curl upwards slightly, your cheeks warming at the confession. You weren't sure what to say; this was the most genuine, honest, heartfelt thing Peter has ever said to you. You wanted to say yes.
"How about this," You spoke up, taking his large hands in yours, "We continue the tutoring until I am passing, and at the end of the semester, you can ask me again. How does that sound?"
He smiled widely, relief filling his features. "That sounds amazing," He replied, squeezing your hands.
"Cool." You replied, smiling.
"Cool." He mimicked making you laugh lightly
"So," You began, feeling your face flush, "Since you're already here, and it's Friday... Do you want to help me study?"
Peter let out a small chuckle, running his fingers through his hair, "Uh, I didn't bring my backpack."
You waved a hand dismissively, "It's fine, I was going to binge something anyway. Want to join me for a movie then? I make the best popcorn." You offered.
Peter just simply nodded, watching you fondly as you gave him a smile and did a fist-pump, before hopping off the other couch and moving to the kitchen. Peter sat back on the couch, feeling a bit better. He wasn't entirely over Gwen yet, and he didn't think he ever would be, but with you there beside him, he wasn't alone anymore. He could finally let himself be happy, it's what Gwen would've wanted. And with that thought, he smiled warmly.
Yeah, maybe things will get better.
Peter Parker how he'd react when you say your Ace
Tumblr media
author note: yes this is a headcanon, is this projecting maybe. but it makes me happy.
he would be confused at first cause this nerd would take the term "asexual" literally cause biology and stuff
after explaining "no not like starfish or other animals" and how it's a sexuality he'd understand
"thank you for trusting me" he'd say this regardless if you two are dating or not
if you are dating he'd never pressure you to do anything, you'd make the calls on physical stuff
would ask questions to make sure not to overstep any boundaries
if you felt worried he'd leave you he would consistently tell you how he love's you for your personality
he would do his own research to understand more about you and ask questions about where you are on the spectrum on asexuality
he'd ask permission to do things like hold your hand or kiss you (would do this before even finding out your ace)
Ava Parker - Spider-Man
Ava Parker is my own version of Peter Parker because I love girls and I think they make every media better. She's tall with short, curly brown hair that's put into two low pigtails. She's around 16/17 when she gains her abilities. I've also decided that she's more obviously Jewish rather than ambiguously like the comics; i.e she actively celebrates and participates in holidays and religious practices, I myself am not Jewish but I think it adds depth to her character <3.
She's just as much of a nerd and genius in this world as any other Peter Parker, her area of expertise lies in biology and bioengineering with of course a hefty amount of attention paid to physics and other kinds of science too. In this world, she takes after Raimi's Spider-Man in that she has more natural spider abilities beyond classic strength, speed, and instinct. I've decided to also give her natural webs as well as fangs that produce a natural sedative. This is because I think fangs are hot. I'm also drawing inspiration from Miles Morales as well because I love the look of casual clothes over top of the suit. I also like the practicality of it because New York gets fucking cold and spiders can't thermoregulate because they're cold-blooded. Additionally, I'm stealing Gwen's death from the Andrew Garfield film and I'm not really taking much from the Holland movies because the MCU is my enemy.
Personality-wise, Ava's a little rougher and tougher. She's more easily angered and less likely to pull her punches to start with especially less so after Gwen's death. She's just like me fr bc emotions are hard. She's non-lethal, for the most part, and still goes by the moniker of Spider-Man. With her friends and as a civilian, she's quiet but sweet for the most part but once she's comfortable she can get loud and hyper. Mary Jane is her guy in the chair.
When Worlds Collide
A/N : well I’m back in my andrew phase. Hope you like this. Let me know what you think.
Summary : your best friend mysteriously goes missing and when he returns you’re met with the shocking truth of him being spiderman adding to that you learn that the cause of his disappearance was him being transported to another dimension.
Pairing : Andrew! Peter Parker x Reader
Warnings : NWH spoilers, best friends -> lovers
Tumblr media
One day. It has been one whole day and you have no idea where your best friend was. You were supposed to be working on your research project today but then he didn’t show up during the morning class— which wasn’t unusual for him because he had a habit of disappearing now and then but it was only for a short time. And this time it has been way too long which had you visibly worried.
You’ve been trying his cell phone for hours but every time it said it was unreachable. You even considered calling aunt may but then gave up on the idea not wanting to get her stressed more than she was already about her nephew.
You wouldn’t have been this desperate if it wasn’t important. After months of pondering you had finally decided to tell him that knowingly or unknowingly you had fallen in love with him and now he goes missing. How convenient of you Parker?
You met Peter in the first year of your undergrads. He was your assigned lab partner. Lean, tall figure, thick rimmed glasses set on the bridge of his nose and messy brown hair. You haven’t seen a nerd so effortlessly good looking. He was funny and a genius. You loved when he did that cute awkward thing while talking. Not to mention he can skateboard as well as is into photography and with all this how can you expect someone not to fall in love with that dork.
He did tell you about his girlfriend in high school and her tragic demise, since then he never let himself feel anything for anyone again. Another reason that stopped you from telling him the truth but lately your secret crush on him has grown into something intense and it feels like if you don’t tell him it would drive you to the brink of insanity.
At night you were on the terrace of your apartment building. You and Peter often used to hang out here talking about life and other stuff. The air felt chilly and you decided to go back to your apartment but then froze noticing a golden glow and then saw Peter materialize out of thin air in the spiderman suit.
“What the—” you gasped in shock and Peter looked at you with the same horror on his face.
“Hey it's just me Peter. No need to freak out.” he said, closing the distance between you.
“Oh my god, Peter. You're spiderman?!” your voice came out way higher than intended.
“Umm yeah as you can see but can you keep it down. Don’t want the whole neighborhood to know now.”
“You know I had something to say to you…then you didn’t show up in class and after as well… I was so worried.” you rambled.
“I know, I know.” he pulled you in his embrace.
“And what happened to your face?” you gently brushed your fingers on his bruises and he winced.
“Long story.” he sighed.
“We need to clean those wounds before they get infected.”
“No need for that, trust me I’m fine.”
“No, I'm not listening to anything. You’re coming with me right now.” despite his several protests you brought him back to your apartment and cleaned his wounds.
“Where were you the whole day? And how did you materialize out of thin air?” you asked while applying the antiseptic cream on the scars.
“Well I just returned from another universe.” he said vaguely.
“What?” You looked at him skeptically and sniffed him. “Are you drunk?”
“It's kind of complicated. I'll tell you tomorrow after class. I promise.” saying so he swung out of your window as you sat on your bed trying to wrap your head around everything that happened in the last one hour.
Next day Peter found you in the breakroom after classes.
“Hey.” he said as soon as he walked in.
“You liar!” you charged at him and started hitting him with the thick biology book you had in your hand on his back.
“Ow, ow, ow that hurts.” he cried out.
You stopped your little assault remembering the bruises he had last night. “Oh I’m so sorry I completely forgot. Where did it hurt?” you asked with concern.
“It's all healed up, don't worry.” he flashed you a grin. You frowned, inhaling sharply and began to hit him again on his arm.
“I’m sorry Y/N. Stop it now it hurts.” he said with a pained expression.
“You deserve this and I know you don't feel a thing cause you are—” you cut yourself off noticing more people have gathered inside the breakroom. Wordlessly you grabbed his arm and dragged him across the hallways out to the campus field where the varsity football team were busy practicing.
“Now why didn’t you tell me that you are spiderman?” you said as both of you sat down at the farthest corner of the empty bleachers. “The reason better be good Parker.”
“Well kinda beats the whole idea of being the masked vigilante if I go around telling people I'm spiderman.” he shrugged.
“Don't try to act smart. And I'm not just any other person, I'm your best friend!” you retorted.
“I'm sorry but it's for your own safety. I’ve already lost the people i loved and I don't want anyone else to get hurt because of me.”
You figured he was talking about Gwen. “Hmm I understand.”
“But I’m sorry I hid it from you.” he said apologetically.
“I can’t believe I was thirsting on spiderman in front of you and now I get to know it was you all along. God it’s so embarrassing.” you hid your face behind your palms. It was true you used to openly talk about the huge crush you had on Spiderman to him of how it would feel to run your hands across his lean muscular body even going as far as to talk about how good his ass looks in that tight suit.
“Don’t worry your secret is safe with me.” he grinned.
You rolled your eyes. “So the thing you were talking about last night getting back from another universe.”
“What if I said string theory, multidimensional reality and matter displacement, these are all real?” he asked.
“NO WAY!” you gasped, eyes going wide in disbelief and shock.
“You gotta believe me Y/N. Two days ago I was just swinging across the neighborhood and suddenly it felt like I was still in New York but on a different reality and then this portal opened—”
You cut him off. “And you just walked right inside it?”
“Yeah why not?” he said coolly.
“Peter! It could have been dangerous!”
“I'm used to danger” he shrugged smugly. You rolled your eyes as he continued with his story.
“So as I walked in there were these two kids, a boy his name was Ned and the girl was MJ. Then there was Ned's lola who made me clean the cobwebs on their ceiling.” you started laughing and he grimaced. “Don't laugh.”
You snorted. “Serves you right.”
“Ok so then I got to know that they were looking for Peter Parker and accidentally opened up a portal to me.”
“But you're Peter Parker.” you said in confusion.
“That is the thing I met two different variants of me” he said. “One was an older dude and the other one was the kid whose identity got revealed in his world and he wanted to make everyone forget about it but then he messed up the spell of the wizard and caused a rift in the multiverse.”
“Wait now there are wizards? You're not making this shit up right?” you eyed him down skeptically.
“No, trust me! He was literally a guy with a goatee and a flying cloak.”
“I’m really having a hard time believing all this right now but you’re spiderman so anything is possible. Carry on.”
“Guess who was there as well? Dr. Connors and Max.” he was dropping surprises after surprises and all you could do was just sit there gaping at him with complete shock.
“But Dr. Connors is in jail and Max is dead right?”
“Well they got transported just before the time I defeated them along with an octopus guy, a sand man and a green elf who was a complete maniac.”
“You mean Harry Osborn? The green goblin?”
“No, it was his dad Norman from the older Peter’s universe and he killed Aunt May in that world.” he said with remorse.
“Oh god that poor kid. I can't imagine what he had to go through.” you sympathize.
“Yeah he was devastated and I know what it feels like to lose the person you love. You blame yourself for not trying your best to keep them safe.” he said “but it was nice to see friends having his back. Like you had mine all these years.” you smiled as he carried on. “You know Norman tried to throw MJ down a building just like Harry did.”
“What?” your voice quavered. All these years you’ve seen him live with the pain of losing Gwen and another repetition of the event is not what he requires in life.
“Yeah all of a sudden it was a deja vu for me but Y/N this time I saved her. I couldn't save my Gwen but I did save his gwen.” he said with tears streaming down his eyes.
You fought back your own tears as your hands reached out to his face wiping his tears. “It wasn't your fault Peter. If Gwen would have been here she would have told the same.” he nodded in understanding.
“So what happened to Max and Connors and the other guys? Did they die?” you asked.
“No, we cured them” he said. “The tech is quite advanced in that universe. That kid had a nanotech suit, can you believe it?”
“Wow, that's cool.” you arched your brows amused.
“Although the other Peter had natural web fluid coming out of his wrists.”
“Ewww.” you scrunched your nose “What is it like snot coming out of your nose? And does it only come out of his wrist or….”
“Well he said it’s only the wrists.” he shrugged.
“I think I have heard enough of your bizarre interdimensional experience.” you shook your head and he chuckled.
“But are you ok Peter?”
“Never been better.” he said with a long sigh. “I mean I have two brothers now whom I won't meet again but hey let's just hope another rift happens. You know they fought aliens. God I want to fight an alien so badly too.”
“No you absolutely don’t. This interdimensional travel is enough for now.” you stated firmly.
“Ok ma’am.” he laughed lightly. “So what did you have to say to me?”
“What?”
“You only said last night that you were looking for me.”
Dammit, why does he have such a good memory?
A day ago you were confident enough to tell him about your feelings but that moment has passed. And now with this added knowledge of him being spiderman you really don’t know if it’s appropriate to tell him.
“Oh it's nothing” you shrugged.
“No, tell me if it's important.” he encouraged.
“It's just… I don't know, it's silly.. nevermind leave it.” you waved your hand in dismissal.
“Hey it's just me you can tell me anything you know that right.”
“Yeah I know but I just don't know…” you paused to think for a moment and decided on telling him or else you’ll lose your mind thinking about it later. You took a deep breath. “Okay so here is it. Peter, I really like you.”
“Y/N I…” Peter hadn’t expected you to say this as he stared at you open mouthed.
“Don’t worry I don’t expect you to say it back.” you added quickly. “I just had to get this off my chest, that's all.”
When he still didn’t say a word you assumed you had screwed things up between you two. “Oh god I just made things awkward didn’t I? Just- just forget I said anything like that” you stood up hurriedly not wanting to face him anymore. “I-I should go back to the lab.”
“No, no wait, don't go.” he grabbed your hand and pulled you down to sit.
“It’s ok Peter I know you love Gwen and no one can take her place. You don’t have to worry about me, I know it’s hard to move on.”
“It’s nothing like that Y/N” he said. “I mean it's true I loved Gwen and a part of her will always be there with me. But I don’t think I can deny the feelings I have for you anymore.”
“You had feelings for me?” your brows drew in confusion.
This whole interdimensional travel proved to be an emotional catharsis for Peter. He no more feels held down by the past and wants to finally move on. And the first step to it is to admit his feelings for you that he has been harboring for a long time.
“How can I not? After I lost Gwen I was in a dark place.” he took your hand in his “but then I met you. You were like a ray of light that I was desperately searching for. You brought me out of that darker place Y/N, giving me the strength to keep going. And I really don’t wanna lose you too.”
“Peter, I'll always be there for you no matter what.” you said cradling his face.
“Y/N, I think I’m ready to start over and try to become the Peter Parker Gwen wanted me to be. For you.”
“This will be more than enough for me Peter.” you pressed your forehead against his.
“But you’ve to be patient with me.” he smiled.
“I’m ready to wait for you all my life.” you said looping your arm in his and rested your head on his shoulder. You stayed like that for a while reveling upon the fact that the person you secretly loved all this while loves you back.
Peter noticed the slight crease on your forehead.
“What are you thinking now?” he asked, tapping your head.
“Thinking about what my other variants would be like?”
“I’m sure they would be less bossy and violent than you.” he chuckled.
“Haha, very funny.” you scowled but Peter couldn’t stop smiling because he did come across your variant in the other dimension and you were so alike in every possible way.
Opposites Attract
Pairing: MJ x Reader
Synopsis: MJ is skeptical when the cheer captain shows an interest in her
Masterlist
Tumblr media
“Why did you losers drag me here?” MJ whined as she sat beside Peter and Ned on the bleachers.
“Because this is what normal high schoolers do.” Ned said. “They go to football games.”
“Normal is boring.” MJ rolled her eyes.
“The frigid winds of teen angst will still be blowing tomorrow.” Peter patted her back. “You can rage against the machine another day. Today, we’re normal high schoolers.”
“Okay nerd.” She scoffed. “I’m bored.”
“It hasn’t started yet.” Ned pointed out.
“Screw this, Im reading.” MJ sighed and pulled a book out of her back pack. She became so invested in her story that she didn’t hear Peter the first two times he said the game was over.
“MJ? Did you hear me?” He nudged her again. “We won. Your torture is over.”
MJ shut her book and looked up to see all the players walking off the field. The cheerleaders ran off to hug their boyfriends on the team while the ones without boyfriends loudly cheered on their friends to tease them. MJ, Ned and Peter walked down the steps of the bleachers right as you ran up to them. Your hair was in pigtails, tied up with ribbons that matched your cheerleading uniform. You had blue and yellow dots on your cheeks and Pom Poms still in hand as you stopped them.
“Hi!” You waved your Pom Poms at the three of them. “Were you reading during the game?”
“Uh...yes?” MJ said sheepishly, worried she might have offended you.
“That’s so funny.” You smiled, much to her surprise. “Honestly, I find the games boring too. I wish I could just sit and read. But I’m a little busy b-e-ing aggressive.” You said sarcastically as you waved your pom pom.
“I saw. Frankly, I find the entire idea of cheerleading to be sexist and outdated.” MJ began, making Ned and Peter exchange a glance. “Why do the women have to cheer while the men reap all the glory?”
“I know what you mean. But I’ve always loved gymnastics and this is the only way I can still do that.” You explained. “And it comes with a lot of benefits. I’ve already been scouted by a few colleges for a cheerleading scholarship.”
“Oh. That’s pretty cool actually.” MJ said sincerely.
“I’m Ned.” Ned cut in, still shocked that you were talking to them.
“Hi Ned. I’m-“
“Y/n L/n. Cheer captain. I know who you are.” Ned finished your sentence for you.
“Oh.” You laughed awkwardly and turned back to MJ. “What’s your name?”
“MJ.”
“Does that stand for something?” You asked.
“Yes.” She said simply. You waited for her to say more, but she said nothing.
“Oh, okay. And you are?” You looked at Peter.
“Peter. Parker.” Peter stammered. “We’re in fifth period-“
“Biology.” You realized. “You’re the one who always has his hand up. Did you do the homework for Monday?
“Knowing Peter, he probably did the homework for next week last week.” MJ taunted.
“Well I still haven’t done the homework from last week.” You laughed. “So you’re doing better than me.”
“I could send it to you.” Peter offered.
“Okay. Here. You can put your number in my phone.” You handed Peter your phone, but never took your eyes off MJ. “MJ, you should probably take my number too.”
“Why?” She wondered. “I’m not in that class.”
“I know.” You said as you took her hand and wrote your number down on it. “But you’ll need my number to text me.”
“Why would I text you?” She furrowed her eyebrows.
“Because I want you to text me.” You winked at her. “Thanks Peter Parker. Bye guys!”
You ran back towards your squad, leaving Peter, Ned and MJ with dropped jaws.
“What just happened?” MJ asked.
“Gay?” Ned looked at his friends.
“No.” MJ said quickly. “Theres no way.”
“No. I call gay.” Peter nodded. “That was definitely fruity.”
“Shes the cheer captain.” MJ reminded them. “Theres no way shes gay.”
“MJ, she was staring at you the whole time. And she gave you her number unprompted.” Ned pointed to the number on MJ’s hand. “Girls that hot do not give anyone their number unprompted.”
“So what? Maybe she just wants to be friends.” MJ tried not to get her hopes up as she stared at your number.
“I don’t think so.” Ned shook his head. “I think she was looking for some lady loving”.
“You should text her.” Peter suggested. “Tell her she did a good job cheering.”
“I’m not the compliment type.” MJ said as she entered your number into her phone.
“Dude, she likes you.” Peter insisted. “You have to show some interest.”
“You guys are ridiculous.” MJ shrugged. “She’s not gay. She’s basically a celebrity at this school. We would know if she was gay.”
“Not necessarily.” Peter said. “Maybe she’s scared to come out. And she’s never had a boyfriend.”
“That we know of.” MJ pointed out.
“Just text her.” Peter whined. “Do it for me and Ned, who would kill to have her interested in us.”
“I’m not gonna text her. She’s not into me and she’s definitely not gay.” MJ decided.
The next Monday at school, MJ was reading in the cafeteria when she saw two perfectly polished pink fingernails tilt her book down. She looked up and saw you staring at her with a smile.
“You didn’t text me.” You said pointedly.
“Yeah. I’m not really into texting.” MJ admitted as she closed her book.
“Do you prefer phone calls?” You asked.
“I’m old fashioned.” MJ shrugged. “I prefer long hand written letters. It’s more sentimental that way.”
“Y/n! Over here.” One of the jocks called from your usual table. You looked back at MJ and frowned, not wanting to leave her so soon.
“I have to go.” You sighed. “But you should reconsider. Texting me, I mean.”
“I still don’t know why.” MJ said as you walked away.
“Text me to find out.” You called back with a smile.
The next day, Peter was walking past a janitors closet when he was yanked inside. You held a hand over his mouth so he wouldn’t scream and motioned for him to relax.
“Peter, I need you.” You said desperately.
“I mean, I’ve dreamt of this exact situation happening, but I have an algebra test.” He sighed. “We cannot have sex in this janitors closet right now.”
“What? I didn’t pull you in here for sex.” You whispered harshly. “I pulled you in here because you’re MJs friends and I need advice.”
“Oh. I misread the situation.”
He cleared his throat. “That’s on me. What’s wrong?”
“Is she gay?” You asked. “Or is she just an ally. I need to know for confidential reasons.”
“Oh. She is gay.” Peter confirmed, making you smile. “Why do you want to know?”
“I already told you it’s confidential.” You waved your hand. “Is she dating anyone?”
“No.” Peter told you. “Why?”
“Use your big boy brain and figure out why.” You rolled your eyes. “Thanks for the help. Bye!”
You dashed out of the closet, leaving Peter with several questions, but several answers.
Just when MJ thought she had seen the last of you, you came up to her a few days later. She was sitting in detention for the hell of it when you walked by. You backtracked when you saw her and went into the room to take a seat beside her.
“What are you doing?” You whispered so the teacher wouldn’t notice you.
“Just some sketching.”
“Can I see?” You asked, and she felt her face flush.
“I guess.” MJ shyly passed her sketch book to you and watched your face light up. You flipped through the pages of her drawings and gasped slightly with each one.
“Wow. I know all these people.” You whispered excitedly. “These are really good.”
MJ smiled it response, but noticed the way your face saddened when you got to the end.
“What?” She wondered.
“You don’t have any of me.” You laughed sadly as you passed her book back.
“Oh, um...” MJ gulped.
“Y/n, are you supposed to be in here?” The teacher asked when he noticed you.
“No. Sorry sir.” You grabbed your bag and stood up. “I’ll see you around, MJ.”
MJ watched you curiously as you left, wondering what you could possibly want from her. She couldn’t understand why the most popular girl in school was so interested in someone who purposefully made themselves out to be an outcast. She shook her head and went back to her sketch, but the thought of you never left his mind.
The following week, MJ found a letter from you in her mailbox. It had a stamp and everything, including hearts over the “i” in her name. She stuck it in her backpack and marched to school, soon finding you in the library.
“You wrote me a letter.” MJ said as she slammed the letter down in front of you.
“You said that’s what you prefer.” You said innocently. “Did you smell it? I sprayed it with my perfume. I looked it up and that’s what they used to do in the old days.”
“Why did you mail it to me?” She folded her arms. “You could’ve put it in my locker.”
“You said you liked old fashioned.” You said a little sadly. “I’m sorry if you didn’t like it. I was just trying to make a grand gesture.”
“Why are you doing this? What’s your angle here?” She asked you as she took a seat across from you. You looked down at your lap and began to nervously pick at your pink nail polish.
“I knew your name already.” You said quietly. “When I asked you at the game, I already knew it. And I know you like reading and politics and history. I just don’t know why you won’t text me.”
“Why do you want me to text you so badly?” She asked in exasperation. You looked up at her and blinked a few times before looking away.
“Because you can overhear a conversation but you can’t overhear a text.” You said, trying to hint at what you were trying to say.
“What don’t you want people overhearing?”
“Did you read the letter?” You flipped the envelope over to see that it had never been opened.
“No, I came straight to you. What did you...” MJ shook her head and decided to just see for herself. She tore the pink envelope open and took out a piece of personalized stationery. It didn’t take her long to realize the point of the letter, and suddenly, everything made sense.
“You... you’re asking me out on a date?” She looked up at you in disbelief.
“Only if you want to.” You said quickly as you searched her face for an answer.
“Are you...” MJ’s eyebrows knit together as Peter and Ned’s predictions came true.
“Yes.” You nodded. “But no one knows.”
“So why are you telling me?” She wondered. “I’m a stranger.”
“Because I saw the lesbian flag pin on your backpack. And I think you’re really pretty. And I want to take you on a date.” You smiled shyly.
“I do have some of you.” MJ blurted.
“What?”
“Drawings, I mean.” She cleared her throat. “You said I didn’t have any of you in my sketch book. I do have drawings of you, but I hung them up in my room.”
“Why?”
“I think they’re my best work.” She smiled sheepishly. You smiled back and sat back in your chair, pleased with how the conversation had gone.
“And I think you’re really pretty too.” MJ said quickly, making you laugh.
“I’m going to ask you to see my game this Friday.” You said. “And you can read and hate it the whole time, but you are going to come. And afterwards, I’m gonna take you out for ice cream. Is that okay?”
“That’s okay.” MJ nodded eagerly. You smiled at her and picked up your bag, making sure to squeeze her hand as you stood up.
“Then I’ll see Friday.” You winked at her before walking away.
After your game on Friday, you sat outside an ice cream shop with MJ. You can a vanilla ice cream cone with rainbow sprinkles, and she had a cup of chocolate ice cream with chocolate sprinkles. You giggled like a child when you got your ice creams, insisted that they were a perfect representation of your personalities. To MJ’s surprise, you hit it off despite your very different personalities. The date went as well as either of you could have hoped, both of you laughing and cuddling by the end of it.
“Hold on.” MJ put her spoon down and looked at you. “You got a little on your lip.”
“Did I get it?” You asked as you rubbed your mouth.
“No. It’s on the other side.” She pointed with her finger.
“Is it gone?” You tried again and wiped the other side of your mouth, but the ice cream was still there.
“No. It’s...”
MJ put her hands on your face and brought you closer before kissing you on the lips. She could taste the vanilla ice cream and smiled against your lips. When she pulled away, you touched your lips and smiled.
“Did you get it?” You giggled.
“I got it.” She nodded before leaning in for another kiss.
A month later, MJ was attending your cheer practices regularly. You saw her in the bleachers from the top of the pyramid and blew her a kiss.
“Ready? Okay!” You clapped your hands. “Let’s go tigers! The mighty, mighty tigers. Let’s go tigers! Woo!”
Once practice ended, you ran towards MJ and threw your arms around her.
“You did great out there.” She congratulated you as she spun you around. “I bet people come to the games just to see you.”
“Well I am sparkly and fun to look at.” You laughed. “Guess what?”
“What?” MJ asked as she held you by the waist.
“I told the girls about us.” You grinned. “They’re all super supportive. And then Gwen came out as bi and Alyson came out as asexual and we all hugged. Yay!”
“That’s amazing. I’m so proud of you.” MJ smiled before kissing you passionately.
“Thank you.” You beamed and kissed her face on both sides. “Thanks for giving me the courage to do it.”
“GET IT GIRL.” Gwen called from behind you.
“Woo! There we go!” The other cheerleaders joined in and cheered you on. You giggled in excitement and hugged MJ tightly, feeling the love all around you.
“Sorry. I know you don’t like attention. They’re just excited for me.” You laughed as you looked back at your team.
“Don’t be sorry.” She shook her head. “I’m happy when you’re happy.”
“If it’s okay with you, I want to start telling more people.” You told her. “I want to hold my girlfriends hand in the hallway like everyone else. And when my games end, I want to run off and kiss my girlfriend like the football players get to do. I’m tired of hiding.”
“Okay.” She smiled proudly. “So we’ll tell people.”
“Really?” You asked hopefully.
“Really.” She confirmed. “I’m tired of hiding too.”
“Ah! Yay.” You bounced up and down in excitement. “And if anyone’s homophobic to us, I can beat them with my twirling baton.”
“I would honestly love to see that.” She laughed before kissing you again. She pulled you into a tight hug afterwards, no longer feeling like she was on the outside.
A month later, you and MJ were out to the school and were proudly sitting together at lunch. Now that your two world had combined, Peter and Ned sat at your table between a couple of jocks and cheerleaders.
“Hi Y/n. I like your scarf.” Peter nodded towards MJ as he sat down. MJ’s arms were wrapped around you as her head rested on your shoulder. You had your pom poms resting on a couple of her books, a perfect representation of your relationship.
“Thank you. I like her too.” You chuckled and patted her hand.
“Shut up.” She pouted. “You losers sat with us so you have to deal with the PDA.”
“I just never knew you were this clingy.” Ned snickered.
“Oh my God. She’s so clingy.” You laughed and looked at her. “When we hang out, she wraps her entire body around me. She’s like my little baby sloth.”
“I’m not clingy.” She whined in your ear. “I just like to cuddle.”
“I never thought I’d hear those words out of your mouth. What have you done to her, Y/n?” Peter pretended to gasp.
“I put a little pep in her step.” You clapped your hands. “I put some pride in her stride. I put that-“
“Enough. No more cheers.” She shut you up by kissing you.
“This is what happens when you date the cheer captain. You have to deal with my aggressive positivity.” You said once she pulled away.
“It’s a nuisance I’ll willing to put up with.” She smiled as she put her head back down on your shoulder. “You don’t think I’m too clingy though, right?”
“I think you’re the perfect amount.” You told her before kissing her forehead.
“I will never understand how you two got together.” Peter shook his head. “You’re total opposites.”
“Opposites attract.” You insisted. “You should know that, Mr. Biology.”
“Oooo. Mr. Biology. She got you there.” Ned nudged him.
“Y/n! Come over here!” A cheerleader called from the other side of the room. “We need to go over the stunts we just learned.”
“Duty calls.” You sighed and grabbed your pom poms. “I’ll see you later, alligator.”
“Bye, princess.” MJ kissed you sweetly before you left. Once you were gone, Peter and Ned exchanged a knowing look. MJ had never been this happen, and it was evident on her face.
“So.” Peter smirked at MJ. “What were you saying about her not being gay?”
Study Kisses
Y/N Stark let out a big sigh, "Peter, I'm never going to get this..." she whined.
Peter gave her a sympathetic smile, "C'mon I'll help you study," he sing-songed, wiggling his eyebrows up and down. Y/N collapsed in giggles, as he finished stripping off his spider suit in the ensuite bathroom. He came back out gray sweatpants, low on his hips, and a tight white tee-shirt stretched across his chest. He grabbed her AP Biology review out of her hands as he sat in the rolling chair next to her bed. She sighed and shifted to sit criss-cross on her comforter. Sighing as Peter began asking questions, she got the first three wrong, distracted by her maybe-boyfriend, was he her boyfriend, but then finally she got one right.
"What is the process of intracellular water diffusion called?" Peter asked.
"Osmosis!" Y/N exclaimed, Peter chuckled at her enthusiasm leaning forward and pressing a kiss on her forehead.
"Good job, baby." He mumbled against her skin, his breath ticking the hair above her forehead. He leaned back and asked another. Which each question she got right, Peter's kisses got closer and closer to her lips, finally it was the last question.
"Will you be my girlfriend, Y/N?" Peter asked.
"I don't know, let me think about it?" she joked, but Peter's face went stark white, and his lower lip began to tremble. "Oh, babe, I'm just kidding, of course I want to be your girlfriend!" She cooed, leaning forward to swipe her thumb across his bottom lip, as he breathed a sigh of relief. He leaned forward to kiss her, she was just expecting a peck, as was his usual for of affection. But the kiss was slow and sweet, sensual even. As they separated their foreheads leaned on one another, breath mingling.
"Y/N" Her fathers voice boomed through the house, as her and Peter jumped apart to their previous positions. Tony Stark barged through her door, "Oh, hello Parker."
"Hey Mr.Stark, just helping Y/N on her AP Bio exam."
"Well, I'll leave you two nerds to it." Tony left the room shutting the door behind him.
The two teens let out a sigh of relief before giving each other shy smiles, a blush heating up both of their faces.
I'm in school, love math, physics, chemistry and biologi (I'm a nerd I know).
But I'm even a bigger marvel nerd.
I love being physically active, baking cakes and drawing.
I listen to music 24/7 cause it helps me relax.
cec this one goes without saying...
Peter Parker!
Tumblr media
• known as the two nerds of midtown
• but honestly you two could care less, because at least you have eachother.
• plus ned
• you two would most likely have math, physics, chemistry, and bio together
• you'd constantly be flirting in those classes
• which pisses the teachers off but, who cares
• comics
• you two would go comic book shopping on a day to day bases.
• and if not shopping
• you two would have a reading date.
• the two of you would most likely go on morning runs together
• you would obviously know he's spiderman
• so he'd swing you around the city as a form of "workout"
• birthday cakes are your specialty.
• you made Peter's 18th birthday cake and from then on he'd ask you to bake him a cake all the time.
• you probably have a million drawings of Peter just scattered around your room.
• "Baby, can you draw me again?"
• "Peter, I already have a gazillion drawings of you"
• you'd end up giving In and doing it anyways.
• you two would probably have the same music taste.
• or you'd introduce each other to new music.
• the two of you would definitely have a song.
• something meaningful and sweet.
• something you could slow dance to.
• you and peter would make the perfect couple :)
Venom - Ryuk / Eddie - Light?
I guess its the same as the previous ask, huh? *facepalm*
Well I wrote for it a few months ago but never got around to posting it but always meant to go back and edit but, ahhhh I'm sorry!
Here is the mostly unedited brain vomit from November 2020:
I'm sorry, I guess I don't understand the ask.
Were you asking me to compare the characters, compare the ships or shipping them all together?
I guess I'll just ramble for a bit about my two main hyperfixations...
I've long seen parallels between Light Yagami and Eddie Brock, especially comics!Eddie in terms of the flavor of their characters, their moral codes and character flaws (arrogance, conniving, opportunistic), power from monster partner, and (for comics!eddie) their relations to their narrative foils.
Also I see parallels between comics Eddie and Mello but I feel that's more terms of aesthetic/superficial. Blonde, catholic, like leather, motorcycles, chocolate and revenge. But I digress...
Comics Eddie and Venom initially during the original villain run I believe was meant to be a kind of narrative foil for Peter Parker, a kind of what if Peter went evil, Spiderman with murder.
And Light's character also reminds me a lot of Peter Parker, especially in the beginning of the series--both in character design and the lying, sneaking, hacking, and ha-ha I'm so clever... but instead of like leaping off buildings his secret is murder.
Light and comics!Eddie are both obsessed with their narrative foils/nemesis/equal and-opposite but for different reasons and with different outcomes.
L-Embarrassed Light and threatened to have him caught and killed him.
Develop a "friendship" to try and murder each other. Kills L and later regrets it, or at the very least seems sad he's no longer around.
Spiderman-embarrassed Eddie while he was already having the worst day of his life, getting him fired AND he hurt Venom. Tries to kill Spiderman but doesn't succeed but they think they did for a while and are happy about it. There's no angst because from their perspective they had rid the world of an evil, the man that hurt them both.
When they think they succeed at killing Spiderman, the man who hurt them, that everyone lauds as a hero is dead.. Eddie and Venom are  just happily living on an island together, deciding to stay together even though the revenge that brought them together was over and just living, free of burden of hating Spiderman knowing he got his revenge... then spidey shows up alive and that's the end if that.
Later after Spiderman saves Anne, Eddie realizes he wasn't the evil he thought he was. So they move away, and tries to let it go of their obsession, even though Spiderman hurt them (and continues to do so), focusing on themselves instead and protecting a homeless community.
Of course its easier to try to seek redemption when you're bulletproof.
Venom's character has changed and grown since the initial villain days, (well depending on the writer) and the Venom symbiote has become a character with autonomy and not just a costume/plot device/metaphor for drug addiction--again Venom stories can be very different depending on the writer. Being a long-time fan my perceptions of Venom are shaped by comic canon but for the most part we'll focus here on Eddie and Venom as a loving couple.
In a way Movie!Venom feels like a fanfic version, a soft boy!Eddie, but in a good way--it's fun. Eddie gets to learn and grow from his mistakes and the movie ends with Eddie and Venom as a hero...
A hero who eats people--a situation that cannot be sustained. Much like wanting to solve all the world's problems with a murder notebook--barring some comic book miracle this can only end badly.
First impulse upon encountering a problem is kill it.
But this manifests in different ways.
If you've pissed off...
Light- he will find your name and your death will be carefully planned down to the minute.
Venom-Your death will be immediate, swift, and messy.
---
Even though I use the venom movie as a basis for headcanons here. I feel we can pick and choose from the often contradictory comic canon (the way these characters are written varies wildly depending on the author) which canon parts we like.
Comic!Eddie is more like Light than movie!Eddie in their character flaws.
Conniving, opportunistic...
They have a similar moral code.
Black and white morality
In the comics they have another thing in common-a nemesis to obsess over.
In philosophy...
Kill the guilty, save the innocent.
Comic!Eddie develops a God/messiah complex at one point though it's a temporary thing.
Movie!eddie is just he starting on his venom journey but has notably less compunction than comic!eddie about eating people.
---
Eddie and Light
I'm not shipping them romantically in my current found family au Stray. But I could see the potential there to ship--Venom has scores of different canons to pick and choose from, not just the movie. So you could have an au with College!Eddie meeting college!Light so they are closer in age.
How Light and Eddie would interact depends entirely on how they meet. For instance in the comics Venom is ride or die with friends who are also "protectors of the innocent" like Morbius the living vampire. But has animosity with the Punisher who also has a very similar outlook on life. It all depends on how they meet whether they are allies or they might try to destroy each other.
Kira
In canon Kira sees himself as a God beyond reproach and anyone else doing what he does as a murderer deserving of death. He might be allies for a time with other killers like Misa and Mikami but ultimately sees them as scum and will kill them the moment they are no longer useful.
Of course this is fanfiction and canon has no power here.
Canon was dark enough, so if I want Light to grow as a person, make friends and be happy, he will--canon be damned, lol.
Eddie = writing nerd
Peter = science nerd
Light and L = total nerds
Ryuk likes soap operas, sitcoms
Venom likes medical dramas
Ryuk and Venom = soft goth monsterboys or NBs who love snacks, tv, and one (1) justice-driven human.
---
Tropes VenomxEddie Symbrock/veddie and Ryght/Terraito/Deathgods have in common
Beauty and the beast-- "but I would never call you beast." You've got you're ruthless human and cinnamon roll monster that just wants snacks and cuddles
Living in close proximity
Secret boyfriend/partner
Vigilante justice
Deep voice
Sharp teeth
Long tongue
Alien biology
Optional body alteration
Optional--tension with rival/Narrative foil
Angst tropes-- the threat of being imprisoned, institutionalized, or subjected to unethical experiments
Daddy issues
Praise kink
Stars
Tumblr media
Word count: 1.9K
Summary: Best friends Peter and Y/N loved to watch the stars together. They’d climb onto the roof every Friday night and stay there until the sun comes up. One day Peter finally plucks up the courage to ask her out on a date
Climbing onto the roof of her apartment shouldn’t have been such a big deal. She’d done it so many times before, but she’d always had Spider-Man, fucking Spider-Man!, by her side. It didn’t help that she had to sneak her way up with a backpack full of picnic food, but having Peter there made it less daunting.
Of course, this had to be the one time Peter was actually interning under Tony Stark. He wasn’t swinging around the city; he was making coffees and organising paperwork. Sucks to be him, she thought with a smile. But he promised he would be there and Y/N knew he would.
Since they were fourteen, Y/N and Peter made their way onto the roof of their apartment complex to watch the stars. They were kind of hard to see, blocked out by the light pollution. So, when Y/N was fifteen, she bought him a telescope. She’d saved up for weeks and done countless shifts at the little pizza place where she worked. But it was all worth it, just for the smile that came with it.
They’d both agreed, once they’d got their licences, that the two of them would take a trip out of Queens. Leave everything behind, their worries and responsibilities, and go stargazing in the middle of butt fuck nowhere. They’d bring a telescope, a few blankets and a change of clothes. All they needed was each other and the stars.
Y/N was setting up the blankets and setting out the food when the red figure swung into view. The expensive telescope was precariously under his arm (it was a wonder he hadn’t broken it yet). “You need to be careful with that thing,” Y/N warned in way of greeting. “I’m not buying you another one if you break it.”
Rolling his eyes, Peter pulled off the mask. But he grinned once he saw their usual set up. Cushions, blankets and a bowl of crisps, he didn’t know how Y/N managed to carry it all up here. “You ready to gaze at some stars?”
And so, Peter set about setting up the telescope as Y/N began eating the food. She already had a blanket wrapped around her shoulders and the temperature outside had yet to drop. Or maybe Peter's superhuman body just ran a little hotter than everybody else’s. He was content to stay in the spider suit while she hogged the blankets.
And so, they watched the stars, taking turns with the telescope. Peter had actually taken the time out of his studies and the internship to research constellations and became quite the astrology nerd. He searched for the constellations in the telescope and then pointed them out to Y/N.
The two sat on the roof for hours, talking, looking at the stars, bitching about Y/N’s least favourite teacher and so on. They stayed until the sun rose and the sky was painted orange.
Peter stood and began to stretch. “I better go before May starts to panic,” he said and gathered up the telescope.
“Hold your horses, Pete.” Y/N still had a blanket around her shoulders and had a cushion tucked under her arm. She was in the process of gathering up everything, but things kept falling out of her arms. “You’re not going to leave me here with all of this, are you?”
He only smiled, pulled the mask back over his face and leapt off the side of the building. That fucker, she thought and continued gathering up her stuff.
***
Y/N couldn’t quite understand it when Peter had called an emergency stargaze on a Monday. Ste had a tonne of homework as well as a lack of sleep to make up for.
She trudged up the fire escape, rather unenthusiastically, only for Peter to not be there. Instead, blankets were spread out in their usual spot and pillows surrounded them. But the telescope wasn’t there. Instead there was a note taped to one of the cushions.
Please don’t leave! I’ll be back soon, I promise. The answers the the algebra and biology homework are on the back - Pete
It wasn’t like Peter to just give out answers. He was always pushing Y/N to do her best, to try and work out the answers on her own before he swooped in and saved her ass from detention. Y/N wasn’t going to pass up this rare opportunity.
She watched the sunset alone, snapping a quick picture when the sky turned pink. Her homework took hours, even when she was copying Peters (slightly confusing) answers. By the time she was done she was using her phone as a torch and her hand was cramping.
A sudden woosh! filled the air and someone landed on the roof beside her. The person stumbled ever so slightly, but quickly regained his balance, somehow keeping hold of the boxes in his hands. “Did somebody order pizza?”
“Peter Parker you’re a lifesaver!” Y/N called as he sat beside her and opened the first box. She stole a slice and quickly ate it. “And thanks for the answers. God knows I wouldn’t be graduating without you.”
They made light work of the pizza, sitting silently as they ate. Y/N had had head on Peter's shoulder as she stuffed her face. A little bit of cheese had stuck to her face, but neither of them had noticed it yet.
“So,” Y/N started after wiping the sauce (and cheese) away from her face. “Why did you call me up here? What’s going on?”
Peter suddenly panicked. He had been going over this in his head since he first picked up the pizza. And ate the first two boxes because of nerves alone. It was why he had left her up here for so long. Being in love with your best friend was never easy.
“I just…” He struggled to find the words, wringing his hands together to try and somewhat calm his nerves. “Today was tough and I thought we could use it,” he said quietly, looking at his feet. He blew it. He totally blew it.
“You’re the best, Parker!” She grinned and leaned her entire body against him. Without the blanket around her shoulders she was shivering in the cold night. Peter wrapped his arms around her and looked out across Queens.
***
There was a lot Peter wanted to say to Y/N, he just didn’t know how to do it. Every time he tried his words would get jumbled or he’d chicken out.
“What do you actually like about her?” MJ asked as they waited for Y/N and Ned in the cafeteria.
Peter considered her words. He’d never really thought about it that far, he knew he liked Y/N (knew he liked her a lot) but he’d never tried to put those feelings into words. “She’s my best friend, right?” He started, still trying to find the words. “She knows everything about me, everything I like and don’t like, and for some reason she still chooses to be around me. I don’t have to hide any part of myself around her! She makes me feel comfortable to be me where I’ve always been made to feel like I have to be more than I am. When I’m with her I don’t want to swing off and disappear until she leaves. And she’s just incredible.”
Peter fell silent as Ned and Y/N approached the table. They slid themselves into their seats and instantly dominated the conversation. They spoke about Star Wars or the Hobbit or whatever they were into that week.
A note was suddenly placed in front of Peter. Tell her everything you just told me. He snatched it up before anyone could see and hit it in his pocket, his cheeks pinks. “You feeling alright, Parker?”
“Yep,” he choked out and cleared his throat. “Everything’s fine.”
But Y/N wasn’t convinced. “As long as you’re sure,” she mumbled and eyed him suspiciously. Ned quickly pulled her back into the conversation and Peter silently thanked him.
***
It was their usual Friday when Y/N took a trip up to the roof. He had been quiet and distant all week; she wasn’t sure if he was going to show or not.
When she got there, with a blanket stuffed into her bag and a pillow under her arm, she gasped.
There was Peter Parker, looking dapper in a tattered suit. His arms were braced against the railing that went around the roof and looked down at the bustling street below. He knew she was there, but chose to let her come to him.
Y/N set down her bag and her pillow and slowly approached him. “What’s going on, Parker?” Her voice was quiet as she reached for the railing and stood beside him. Last time this had happened, he’d just come from his Uncle Ben's funeral. The two had spent that night crying and reminiscing.
He turned to her, a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. You took Liz Allen to homecoming and her dad was one of the bad guys, you can do this. He was still nervous, but he had to do this. It was now or never.
“I’ve loved you since we were kids.”
“I love you too, Pete. What’s going on?” She urged.
So, Peter tried again. “Y/N.” He reached into his pocket and pulled out a piece of paper. “You’re someone who makes me feel comfortable being myself. You know every part of me and there’s nothing I have to hide from you. When I’m with you, I don’t have to be anymore than I am and-” the paper slipped from between his fingers, pulled away by the wind. “Shit,” he mumbled, trying to reach for it. It tumbled through the air, out of his grasp.
Y/N was silent. Peter had half a mind to get on his knees and beg for her to say something, anything.
“I think I get what you’re trying to say,” she said at last and stepped closer. Peter sucked in a breath, his chest tight. “Can we start this night over? This time, I’ll do the talking.” Peter rapidly nodded his head and Y/N took his hand.
They pulled the blanket from Y/N’s bag and sat on it. She took a minute to gather her words before finally speaking. “Hey Peter, I’m in love with you and I have been for the last year. I think we should go on a date,” she said, words filled with confidence. “This Friday, before we come up here for stargazing.” Y/N was looking at him, eyes filled with hope.
“I’ll pick you up at six.” Peter grinned and leaned back, opening his arms for her.
“You better bring flowers for my mum. It’s not a real date without them.”
“What do you take me for? Cheap?”
heyy! i was wondering if i couldrequest a ship with any of the marvel characters? i have no preferences when it comes to gender and i use she/her pronouns. im interested in biology and chemistry, REALLY opinionated, charismatic although im pretty socially awkward/ anxious, i sing and sometimes play guitar, i write and draw sometimes and im an estj 8w7- if it helps in any way. i **love** your writing and hope you have a wonderful day! :D
Hello my dear and thanks for requesting a ship💜 I ship you with Peter Parker
Tumblr media
Couple of cute science nerds!!
He gets so excited to show you his latest suit ideas and he even asks for your advice on how he can improve it.
He always does the 👀 when you start off on something you have a strong opinion on because he knows its gonna be epic.
He loves listening to you sing and play guitar, and he's always asking if you'll learn his favourite songs.
He's definitely one of those guys who puts the torch on on his phone and waves it around like he's at a concert.
He also loves watching you draw and thinks you should design the look for his next suit.
All about big dreams and big ideas. You guys have serious plans.
When Peter is out on Spiderman duty you're usually back in "the Spiderman control room" with Ned making sure that Peter doesn't get in over his head.
If he's planning some crazy adventure he usually comes to you to talk through it because he knows you'll come up with the most logical plan and won't let him do something totally stupid that could get him killed. Although half the time he ends up almost getting himself killed anyway much to your dismay.
You swear he's gonna give you a stress ulcer but you love him anyway and wouldn't change him.
Hope you like it 💕
Spidey Senses (pt. 1)
Peter Parker x reader
Summary: You have a big secret about your life, and so might your crush.
Word Count: 2253
Chapter 2
Tumblr media
You woke up, looking around at the apartment to yourself, and got ready for school. You made yourself some scrambled eggs; they were quick enough to make. You ate and cleaned up, not that anyone was expecting you to. You went to the bathroom, looking at yourself one last time. You frowned, but smoothened out your shirt.
Peter liked this shirt. He once told you that at lunch, when you brought him cookies made cookies for him and Ned. It was a Bowsette shirt, and this time instead of wearing it lose you tucked it in. Maybe he'd like that? Not that it was doing much for your body. You did read somewhere that having confident vibes was attractive, so maybe you just needed to act confident, and he'd notice that you wore the shirt he likes? It was stupid, but you were doing it anyways.
You locked up your apartment and walked to Peter's nicer apartment complex, where you sat down on the untagged steps outside. A few minutes later Peter came rushing out with a piece of toast in his mouth. You turned and smiled, perking up.
"Morning Peter." You chirped. No matter how bad you could feel sometimes, you couldn't help but have the best of attitudes around Peter.
"Morning." He said, voice muffled. He took a bite and ripped off a piece of toast, silently giving it to you. You took it and ate with him. "So I just got a text from Ned, and we have to pair up in biology for a project on the genetics of different forms of life."
He sounded pepped up, and so were you. You loved doing projects. It was a stress reliever from working at nights, and you got to spend some time after school with Peter. To you, projects were amazing. "So, who're you gonna pick for your partner?" You teased.
"Of course only the one person I know who can keep up with me." He nudged you, and you giggled. "I wish Liz was in that class. She's really smart."
Then there was that. Peter's crush on Liz. Though it made you feel terrible about yourself, you couldn't help but constantly compare yourself to Liz. She was so much prettier than you, smarter, actually popular. Not that you really cared about popularity, but it seemed like everyone adored her, Peter included. You didn't dislike her, you just wished you could be more like her. But if she's what makes Peter happy, then you would try to be the most supportive friend you could be.
"I bet you do." You did your best to smile. "Are we still on for joining the Mathletes?"
"I don't know. What if I get too nervous around Liz and start messing everything up? Then I'll look like an idiot."
"First of all, never call yourself an idiot. You're a genius, own it. Second, me and Ned are gonna join with you. We'll have your back Peter. We'll all have some fun, and you'll get to spend more time with her. We'll be in the back for support if you need us."
He nodded and put an arm around you, squeezing your shoulders as he side hugged you. "Thanks y/n. I can always count on you and Ned to be really awesome friends."
Though it took a blow to your feelings and self esteem, all you responded with was "Of course." as you walked into school and met up with Ned.
Sometimes, keeping things to yourself was just the better option. There were two things you kept from Peter. One, you were completely and undoubtedly in love with him. Only Ned knew about this, since he's just as close to you as Peter is. Two, the day you went to the Stark museum field trip and got bit by that spider changed your life forever.
As the day went on, so did your anxiousness. It was good this time; you didn't have work today at Delmar's Deli-Grocery, meaning it was time to suit up. Queens always needed help, and you were happy to do it. So was this other guy with similar abilities, but you never met him, so you didn't worry about it.
Mathletes went pretty much as expected. Peter was adorably awkward around Liz, but a genius none the less. You actually had some fun with Ned, goofing off as well as being able to get some work done. Peter would come back to you two every now and then to give updates. "You okay?" Ned quietly asked.
"Yeah, I'm good." You rested your chin on your hand and leaned over. "What about you? Like anybody right now?"
He gave you a goofy smile. "Nobody specific, but I'm hoping being in the Mathletes will show girls how smart I am."
You gave him a toothy grin in return. "I'm sure they will. Girls who are worth your time are suckers for nerds." Ned nodded his head eagerly in response.
Peter caught a glimpse of your conversation with Ned about girls liking nerds, and it sounded like a really tempting topic to over and listen about, but he had to focus on Liz. Giving her his main attention will show her that this is just as important to him as it is to her.
When Mathletes was over, Peter went over to you and an excited Ned, trying to ignore that nagging left out feeling he was having. "What'd I miss?"
"Y/n's gonna paint the Millennium Falcon and Death Star on my walls!" Ned said excitedly.
"Woah, really?"
You shrugged and smiled. "Yeah, it's not a big deal. I like painting, and it's not like my landlord would let me do it on my own walls. His parents are gonna take me to buy the paints and pay me for doing it too, so it's really just me getting all the benefits."
"It's gonna happen next week, so we should have a marathon over the weekend." Ned proposed.
"I love that idea!" Peter said, getting pumped up and excited in a very cute way he does. "We should do it at your house!" He said to you.
"I'm so down!" You excitedly said. "But right now I have homework to do, so let's walk home."
Ned said his goodbyes as he got picked up. You and Peter walked home together talking about Star Wars and how he would love it if you painted for him sometime. You promised him you would and said your goodbyes, watching him walk up his apartment complex steps and disappearing. You then quickly ran home to put on your super suit and head out.
Meanwhile, Peter came home to see Mr. Tony Stark in his very own living room. "Aunt May, I'm ho–"
The two heads turned to see the suddenly out of breath teen. "Oh, hey! Mr. Stark was just telling me how you got accepted." Aunt May smiled.
"W...wha–how–um, hi." He breathed out.
Tony smiled effortlessly as he got up. "I was just talking to your Aunt May over here about your acceptance for your application into the Stark internship." He winked. "Can we talk privately in your room?"
"Ye...uh, sure. Course." They both went into his room and Tony closed the door, looking around the room.
"So your aunt seems nice." Tony said nonchalantly. "Really doesn't look like an aunt."
"Um, why are you here Mr. Stark? I never filled out an–"
"She's cute." He picked up a framed picture of you and Peter, you hugging him while you both smiled. Tony instantly recognized you as the other person he was going to recruit.
"Y–uh, I guess." The question was very flustering for Peter.
"Is she your girlfriend?"
"Woah! No, we're just friends. There's actually this other girl–"
Tony set the picture down and went on to his phone. "Okay, I'm bored with this story now." He then pulled up a video of a disguised man stop a car from crashing into a bus. "This you?"
"No! I don't know who that is."
"Yeah?" He looked up and got the broom that was against the wall, pushing one of the air vents out of the way and watching Peter's suit fall while tied to a rope. "Tell anybody about your powers?"
"No! Not even Aunt May, I promise. It's been a secret since I got them."
Tony nodded. "I'll cut to the point. I need you to come with me to Berlin. There's something you can help me with. Think of it as a mission. Are you up for it?" Peter only nodded his head. "Good, we got one more stop to make."
You got home to your apartment after stopping a robbery at a fast food restaurant. You took a shower and finished your homework fairly quickly. After backing some double brownie cookies for the weekend, you started pencil drawing to pass the time. That's when you heard a knock at the door. Your hair was still a bit damp as you curiously got up and answered the door. In front of your very eyes was the infamous Tony Stark.
"Woah." Was the first thing to drop out of your mouth. You wanted to slap yourself. You quietly said, "Hello."
You stuck out your hand for a hand shake, trying to make it as firm as you could while feeling nervous around the celebrity. As he shook it, you swallowed your nervousness down and remembered that everyone has flaws and he's just a regular person.
"Hi, can I come in?" You forced a smile and nodded, stepping aside as he came in and walked around your house. In all honesty, it was kind of making you uncomfortable how much observing he was doing. He noticed the same picture Peter had was hanged up on your wall. "Is this your boyfriend?"
You nervously laughed at the thought of that fantasy. "I wish." You blurted out. He raised his eyebrows and looked at you, feeling that this was going to be fun to tease about over this mission. "But I've been friend zoned, so yeah." You quickly said. "Anyways, would you like something to eat or drink?"
"Got any sweets or something? I am kind of hungry." He didn't look at you and kept wandering around your apartment. You silently nodded and took out the container of cookies you just put in the cupboard. You made those for the Star Wars binge, but if you had to sacrifice some for Tony Stark, so be it. You opened it from the kitchen counter, and he took one while inspecting your kitchen. "Oh wow. These are good. Make them yourself?"
"Yeah actually. Thanks." He opened your finance drawer with your bills, newspaper coupons and food stamps. You quickly closed it. "Um, please don't look at that!"
He looked you in the eye for a second before nodding and looking at another picture of Peter and you, this time with you trying to cover your face from the selfie. "So, I've read your personal file."
He was so straight forward that you didn't know how to react. "Oh. Are you even allowed to do that?"
"I'm allowed to bend the rules a bit sometimes." You huffed in response. Rich people. "Emancipated at 15. That's a lot."
"Yeah, I guess. I'd like to think I've adjusted well." You put on a smile again.
He leaned against the kitchen counter. "You miss your mom?"
"Um, she needed to learn how to take care of herself before she could take care of anybody else. I'm okay with that." You rocked on your heals.
"That's very mature of you, but you didn't answer my question."
You really didn't know why you felt so open with him. Maybe it was all that internet stalking. Damn. But you weren't about to spill out your life to this man and scare him off. No matter how well you felt like you kind of knew him. "Mm, it's complicated."
"And what about your dad?"
You truthfully never really think about him. "What about him?"
"You don't want to meet him? Know anything about him?"
You let out a laugh. "The only thing I want to know about him is his address, so I could file for some child support."
Tony smirked, deciding that he liked you. "Can you even file for yourself."
You sighed. "Probably not. Sometimes the government can suck."
He nodded his head, his eyes averting to your room. Shit. "What're those?"
"Oh, um, you don't need to see that!" He walked a lot faster than you and went into your room. You silently cursed your small legs. "Wow. These are a lot of drawings. And there's a lot of Thor. Do we have a little crush on a certain God?"
"Maybe!" You blurted out, much to Tony's amusement.
There was a small desk over a bulletin board full of your drawings. You got the desk when you saw pieces of wood being thrown out of a Home Depot because of chips and scratches, and you volunteered to take it off their hands. You built it yourself, wobbly and uneven, and painted some of it with the paints Aunt May got you. It made you look like the help, but it was nothing compared to the drawings you had of the superheroes.
"So what if I do? I know a ton of people who have fake crushes on you!"
"And you're not one of them?" He raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "Should I be offended?"
You smiled, genuinely smiled, and shook your head. "People have fake crushes on unrealistically perfect people. Thor, Thor is unrealistically perfect. You have a ton of flaws but are essentially a good person at heart... With all respect."
"What makes you think I'm not just perfect?" He was truthfully interested in hearing your take on this.
"Because it takes a person with anxiety to know a person with anxiety." Tony uncomfortably shifted his weight onto his other foot.
"I've seen some bad stuff too, not as bad as you, but I know that memories creep up when things get too much to handle. You have a ton of things to handle. I've seen some interviews that get to you. Some things that people say. The rude reporters. Even though a lot of people say bad things about you, your company, and even your family, you still have it in you to fight for everyone. That's amazing. You're not unrealistically perfect, but you are realistically perfect to me."
He paused for a moment, absorbing what was said. "If you're not in love with me, then why do you take the time to know so much about me?"
"Because, while I don't think of you as the fake love of my life, I see you as someone I look up to."
"Believe me kid, you should look up to someone else." He tried to joke it off.
You shrugged. "I don't have anyone else." You felt embarrassed suddenly, looking down at your desk. You then smiled again and searched through your drawings, picking up one of Tony smiling. "Just think of me as your number one fan. You can have that."
"Huh." Was all he said as he looked at it.
"What? Not used to seeing yourself smile?" You giggled. "Anyways, why are you here?"
"Oh, right." He took out his phone, showing you a video of you suited up, stopping a moving car full of robbers until the police showed up.
You sighed. "Okay, you found me. What now?"
"You're not going to try and lie for your secret identity?" Tony smiled again.
"To Ironman?" You giggled again. "No."
"Well, there's a mission in Berlin I need you and the Spiderman's assistance for."
"Is that what he calls himself?"
"Yeah. You met him?" You shook your head, and Tony knew he was going to enjoy this. "Well, you're about to. Ready Spidergirl?"
"Um, shouldn't I pack or something?"
"No need. I got you provisions and clothes for a few days. Especially considering that's probably the only kind of things you have."
You clutched your baggy shirt. "Rude, but true."
"Okay then, stay here." He then left the apartment for a bit and came back with a nice looking shirt and ripped jeans. "I don't want people thinking I found a homeless girl off the side of the street."
"You're so mean." You breathed out a laugh. "Thank you though. I'll be out in a bit." You stepped out a minute later uncomfortably. "Ready?"
"Look at you, looking like a girl." He teased.
You laughed. "Who'd have known? Let's go."
"You ready to meet the Spiderman?" Tony asked as you both stepped down from the apartment complex.
"Should I be? I don't even know who that is." He winked at you before opening the door for you. You slid in the back seat and looked at a surprised Peter dead in the eye. "Holy shit!"
Peter Parker x Bestfriend!Reader Headcanon | Choose Your Ending
Tumblr media
Summary: you are the shy kid and have trouble making friends. Peter befriends you but shit happens, depending on your choice. (A/N; it got angsty at the end, my bad 😳)
Meeting in Biology class in 10th grade
Your teacher assigned a Lab experiment
You knew no one there
Peter didn't have friends in the class and saw you cluelessly standing while looking around
So he walked up to you and asked you to be partners
Becoming really good friends after that as he kept trying to make you break out of your shell
He would always hold at least one conversation with you everyday
You'd warm up to him and he was so happy once you started cracking jokes
Confiding in each other about everything
And I mean everything
Playing video games together
Peter helping you with classes you struggle in
Unable to go a day with no contact with each other
Him trying to always be available in case you need someone
You doing the same thing
Aunt May always giving small winks and tries to get you alone with Peter but you never notice
Ned lowkey hoping you two get together
Peter might have developed feelings for you
Him always glancing at you in class and making promises to Ned that he will say something but never goes through with it
Ned gets frustrated and tells you himself
If you reciprocate
Tumblr media
You confront peter about it
He tries to dismiss it but gives up and just tells you
"I like you....a lot.....and I completely understand if you do-"
You cut him off by kissing him
He becomes the happiest guy on earth
Never going without at least some form of physical contact
Always hanging out at a park
Him constantly trying to make sure you are comfortable
A lot of fear going when he tries to get closer to you and deeper into the relationship
You having to take the lead sometimes
He gets insecure at times but you always reassure him
"Parker, you idiot. You are the best thing that could have ever happened to me."
Cuddling when you both fall asleep in each other's arms
Aunt may feels happy but scared to leave you two alone
Less than other parents would
Because realistically, you two wouldn't really do anything but be nerds
But there is still a risk
Ned would plan your wedding in the background
Until he becomes the third wheel so you two set out to find someone for him
Ned calls off the search as he saw how hard you two worked
You and Peter decided to treat yourself to a little walk in a trail at night
Walking off the trail once it ended and find a little hill
Staring up the sky and seeing the stars for the first time
"You ever notice the stars before"
"Nuh uh"
That spot turns into your special spot
The special spot where you have dates
Where you hang out when one of you needs a break from reality
Where you resolve your really bad arguments
Where he eventually proposes to you
You don't reciprocate
Tumblr media
You get uncomfortable and try to avoid the topic, still talking to Peter and hope he doesn't bring it up
You don't really know how to handle the situation without everything going to shit
Peter doesn't notice
But then Ned tells him and Peter feels awful
He tries to look for you
You almost run when he sees you but you use all your strength to stay in place
You just wanted a good friend, not a whole mess like this
"I know what Ned said...and I am sorry if it makes you feel weird. It's just that... We have been so close and I just need you in my life. Please don't go just because I like you. You are my best friend."
You start to feel shy again and just say okay
Peter feels bad as you don't even look at him
Rethinking everything he has ever done for you
You both distance yourself from each other
Eventually Ned tries to bring you back
"Can you please talk to Peter? He misses you. He literally cried into the phone last night about you."
Slowly going back into Peter's life but getting really shy too
Peter feels a sting when he sees the setback is grateful but is okay with it
Because honestly he feels better having you inch your way in instead of out
Starting all over again
Ned still has issues with you but tries to be civil for the most part
he just can't believe that you did that
"I am sorry"
"Are you really?"
Getting into a fight about it and Peter is just watching, feeling awkward and a huge amount of weight forming on his chest
You don't hangout when Ned is there anymore
Peter keeps trying to fix it because he hates the situation
But as long as you are finally back, he is okay again
Tony had almost all of his other classes with Peter. And Peter seemed to excel in all of them. How was that possible? No one was that good at everything. No one but Tony. And he didn't like being second best. Or even tied. So he would have to fix that.
Peter seemed a little disappointed when Tony started ignoring him in their other classes. The other boy didn't sit next to him like he had in first block. And he was ignored whenever he tried to talk to him. He didn't know what he had done wrong.
So he just focused on the school work instead of making friends. It was what he was good at, after all.
Then it clicked. That was what was wrong.
Tony Stark was someone who had never been told no. He was always the first for everything. He was a literal genius. And now he was being bested by a nobody from nowhere.
So with that in mind, Peter decided that he would just have to be the best. Not that he had planned on slipping up at all.
***
The first week went...smoothly. Peter and Tony seemed to have gotten themselves into a sort of war, though. In every class they were competing to answer every question first, not even giving anyone else a chance.
They aced the first tests they got, each earning a respective 100 percent. But it wasn't good enough.
Not for Tony at least. So he started doing more. He had never cared to do his homework before- "it's just pointless busy work!"- but he completed every page he was given just to keep his grade even with Peter's.
And, sure, maybe Peter answered more in-class questions than Tony, but it was just because he had faster reflexes. That was it. Because Tony still knew all the answers.
He refused to think that Peter was better. It wasn't happening.
***
Week two of their sophomore year. Everything was still going well. Pretty perfect, in fact.
Others had found out about the apparent rivalry and loved to watch. Some had even gone as far as to place bets on who they thought would slip up first.
Neither of them did. Of course. If the knowledge that they were doing well wasn't reward enough, the drive to beat the other would keep them both going.
It didn't matter how well they had gotten along at first. It was war.
Even that day, they were still determined to get a better grade on the childish scavenger hunt they were supposed to do on their field trip. The trip was combining biology and chemistry, with a healthy dose of engineering. It was amazing.
The day seemed like it would be fun and both of them were excited. Peter hoped that maybe, just maybe they could put aside the competition long enough to partner up for the project so they could enjoy the trip together.
He just dared to hope.
It was a simple field trip to Oscorp.
He was excited, looking forward to all of the groundbreaking technology he would get to see!
And the tour was going amazing! Every new thing that he saw caught his eye, mesmerizing him. He was even distracted from his rivalry with Tony, just for those few moments.
Then they were allowed to explore a different lab. Genetic testing and some experimentation on animals. Spiders seemed to be the specialty.
And as cool as it would be to see all that had been done, Peter's fear of spiders kept him from getting too close. So he stayed at the edge of the room, checking out everything from afar.
A sudden sting on his hand brought his attention away from his amazement. He glanced down, face going pale as he saw the cause of the pain. A big, ugly spider. Right. On. His. Hand. He stifled a shriek, slapping the bug (‘arachnid, technically,’ his brain reminded him) off of his hand. But the damage had been done.
The evidence? A puffy red splotch and two little holes on his hand.
***
Peter didn't know what was happening.
He felt like he was dying.
Everything was too warm, or too cold, or too loud, or too bright, or- or- or- or-
It wouldn't stop.
All of the enhanced stimulation was making him sick, keeping him anchored at the base of the toilet for hours as his stomach decided that it didn't want anything to stay in it.
It was horrible. He felt like death.
And he didn't know why.
But...he had the slightest idea.
***
He had really started feeling bad just before the trip ended.
It was just a small twinge in his stomach, making him slightly uncomfortable. But it wasn’t too bad. Probably just queasy from seeing all those spiders.
It only got worse on the bus. He chalked it up to motion sickness.
Then he first got sick when they got back to school. Everyone had said he wasn’t looking good, but he didn’t believe anything was wrong before then.
Ben had to pick him up from the nurse’s office, concern clear on his face.
And Peter had been getting sick since they got home. He could hear Ben on the phone with May outside the door. The conversation must have been pretty loud, if he could hear it.
“Do you think he caught something? The last time he was this sick…” He could hear his aunt’s worried tone through the phone.
“I know, I know. He lost so much weight from the last time he was sick like this. He can’t do that again. But I say that we wait until tomorrow to see if he gets better. Then we can take him to the doctor if he’s still this bad,” Ben replied. His voice was still worried, but he wanted to be able to soothe May. So he tried his best to sound as calm as possible.
Peter tuned out after that, just trying to ignore all the noise. He pressed his hands over his ears, squeezing his eyes shut as another wave of nausea passed over him. He heaved, but nothing came up. There was nothing left in his stomach.
He passed out with his forehead against the cold porcelain, head throbbing at every movement. He hoped and prayed he would get some relief.
***
The sickness only seemed to last for that one day.
Peter woke up the next morning on the floor of the bathroom, wrapped in a blanket that hadn’t been there when he fell asleep. He figured May put it there. He started to sit up slowly, pleasantly surprised when he didn’t feel the automatic need to drape himself over the toilet again.
He stood up, stretching. How he had been on the floor wasn’t exactly comfortable. He caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror as he stretched. Weird. He wasn’t wearing his glasses, but it didn’t seem to matter. He could see just fine. And as he stretched his arms up, his shirt rode up just a little and-
Hold on. That hadn’t been there when he went to sleep. Confused, he pulled up his shirt over his stomach. This revealed a perfect muscled torso that certainly didn’t belong to him. But...the face attached to the body belonged to him. He didn’t understand.
Starting to panic, he raced to his room and locked the door behind him. He quickly stripped out of all of his clothes, standing in front of the full-length mirror over his door. Where there had been soft curves and bits of fat were now lean muscle. But it didn’t make any sense.
Unlike many of his male peers, he was never focused on getting fit or looking like some sort of athlete. He never cared about that. He was happy about his thin, soft body. Yet he seemed to have found the cheat to the “perfect” male body.
Eyes ran over tight pecs and abs, bulging biceps and broad shoulders, slowly trailing down to thick thighs and strong calves. Whose body did he possess? Because it certainly didn’t belong to pasty nerd Peter Parker.
And- oh, okay. That was new, too. He noticed a few more inches to the thing between his legs. The thought made him blush, but he didn’t focus on that too long. Although he would have to see if anything else with that was enhanced along with size.
The briefest thought of Tony crossed his mind. Would the other boy like him better like this? He seemed to have the perfect body all of a sudden, would Tony like him again?
He shook off the thought, face burning. Stop. He couldn’t think like that. He had a boyfriend. And Harley wa-
“Shit, I was supposed to meet Harley!” He exclaimed, sounding panicked. He had forgotten that he agreed to meet up with his boyfriend in the library before school.
He scrambled to get dressed, pulling on loose jeans that weren’t as loose as they were the night previous and a thick sweater. There. He was fairly sure that would conceal his new figure. And he knew that it needed to stay hidden until he figured it all out. A suddenly fit body would be hard to explain to anyone.
He grabbed his backpack and ran out of his bedroom, forgetting his glasses. He suddenly didn’t need them, after all.
Ben stopped him with a hand on his shoulder. “Hey, kid. You seem to be feeling better.” He looked confused.
‘You don’t know the half of it,’ Peter thought.
“Yeah, I’m feeling great! Just need to get to school and see Harley. I forgot I told him I would meet with him this morning.” He smiled, running a nervous hand through his hair.
His uncle didn’t look convinced. “It was just a few hours ago that you were sick. Your aunt was worried you were dying,” he commented. “I think maybe you should stay home today….”
A look of panic crossed Peter’s face. “No! No, I can’t stay home. I can’t miss a day!”
“Is this about that rivalry thing I heard about? Pete, I don’t think that’s-”
“No, I just really want to see Harley. Please. I’m feeling fine now. I promise.” He smiled weakly, heading to the kitchen to grab a poptart. On the way there he realised that he was really hungry, so he grabbed two packs of the breakfast sweet instead of one. He tucked the other into his backpack, heading back to the door. “I’m fine. You don’t need to worry. I’ll call you if I start feeling sick again!”
Ben opened his mouth to argue but figured there was no point.
Peter kissed his cheek before leaving, closing the door behind him.
It was going to be an interesting day.
Don’t you love me?
A/N: Ok first of all my apologies for being so late was really caught up with my exams and other stuff. Tried my best to do justice with your request. Hope you like it.
Can you do a Peter Parker x reader where Peter already lost his virginity at some point but the reader is virgin and it’s her first time? Basically soft considerate Peter checking to make sure she’s not in pain and being really big on consent, like, she has to verbally say yes because he doesn’t want to violate her in anyway, like literally even having his hands anywhere on her, even if it’s just around her shoulder, he’ll check to make sure she’s okay first. Probably starting out watching a movie on Peter’s bed (like lotr or The Hobbit, I have a head canon that he loves those movies) Requested by : @tom-holland-gives-me-seratonin
Pairing : Peter Parker (aged up) x reader
Warnings : 18+, SMUT, mature content
Tumblr media
You met Peter Parker in the first year of your Uni. Both of you were pursuing your Bachelors in Biophysics from the prestigious Empire State University. For you his first impression was that of a cute awkward nerd in thick rimmed specs who got all nervous around women. But something of him intrigued you especially when he sometimes used to mysteriously disappear in thin air without any clue. Like one time when your biology teacher turned villain Prof Miles Warren aka The Jackal unleashed his spiderman clones in the world. Peter was the first one to disappear from campus and within seconds Spiderman appeared to save the day.
You only got to know him better when you were paired with him for a research project. You had to work with him to find out the biochemical composition of a substance. First it was all professional between you but slowly you started to grow feelings for each other. Small talks led to dates and then a full fledged relationship. You were still oblivious of his alter ego but that was a matter of time when one night you heard a knock on your window and you were shocked to find a red and blue spandex suit clad none other than your friendly neighborhood Spiderman. He seemed to be badly wounded and once he took the mask off to reveal who he was underneath you were exhilarated with the fact that it was your sweet nerdy boyfriend. That night he had come to tell you that you both can't be together because of the dangerous life he leads. And he doesn't want to lose you just like he lost Gwen who became the collateral damage of his fight with Electro. Instead you made it clear that in no means you are going to leave him. He needs someone to take care of him and you want to be that person in his life. From then there was no looking back for you two.
You were happy and cherished every moment you got to spend with Peter. He was the sweetest and kindest person you have ever met. You always felt a thrill around him now that you know about his secret identity but you wanted that same thrill in your love life too to be specific your sex life. You have been in a relationship for one and a half years now but you never got to the sexy part. Whenever you used makeout and things got a little heated he used to back out immediately in spite of painful strain in his pants. You could feel he was holding back for some reason you don't understand.
Sometimes you thought maybe you were the problem because you were a virgin inexperienced. You knew about his past relationships with Gwen and MJ maybe he doesn't find you that attractive. You tried dropping hints occasionally grinding on to him while sitting on his lap kissing him or intentionally touching him on his crotch but he never used to pick up on it or straight away ignored them. But now you are desperate now if he doesn't make a move you surely will. You don't want to die a virgin.
It was a lovely evening May was out of town so you came over at Peter's to spend the night with him. You were snuggled close to Peter on the couch practically laying over him watching one of his all time favorite The Hobbit his hand wrapped around you drawing lazy circles on your skin. Your eyes were trained on the TV screen, eyebrows knitted in a frown as you gnawed your lower lip. Peter noticed that and he knew you only did that when something is bothering you.
"What's wrong babe?" He asked sweetly like all the time he does.
''Huh?" You were snapped out of your daze.
"Nothing Peter." You replied dryly.
"C'mon don't lie to me I know something is bothering you." You sat up on the couch and looked at him carefully before straight away asking
"Peter don't you love me?" Peter was taken aback at your sudden question.
"What? No, Y/N what made you think that? Did I do something wrong? Oh is it for me not showing up for the presentation with you. I'm so sorry Y/N but I had to go on that mission the Avengers needed me. I promise this will never happen again." He continued rambling which melted your heart at how pure and innocent he was and now you started feeling guilty for making him feel like that.
"Hey, ssh, ssh.." You sit up on your knees cradling his face with your hands bringing him close to your chest. He stopped rambling, nuzzling his face into your warm chest.
"I'm not mad at you for ditching me at the presentation though I was a little at first." You shrugged
"But that's ok I made peace with that a long time ago because with great powers comes great responsibilities." you chuckled making Peter smile but he still wasn’t convinced.
"Then what is it darling?" He nudged you. You gathered all your courage taking a deep breath and shut your eyes close before blurting out.
"I want to have sex Peter! I know it was a little straight forward from me but Peter we have been together for more than a year and I love to spend my time with you, cuddle you to sleep, making out on a lazy Sunday morning but I want more. And every time things start going there you back off leaving me high and dry. You ranted.
"Oh" that was the only reaction Peter gave you after your nearly one minute rant.
"I don't want to sound pushy. I know I'm a virgin not as experienced like you and maybe not as attractive like your previous girlfriends. But I want to do it with you, I want you to be my first." You continued with your rant.
"Hey, hey…" he sat on his knees cupping your face with his large calloused palms.
"I'm so sorry Y/N for making you feel like that. Believe me you are the most beautiful and smart woman I have ever met in my life."
"You know with this superstrength and my heightened senses I sometimes can't trust myself. What if I get too carried away and end up hurting you? And the last thing I want is to hurt you Y/N." his gaze dropped to his lap.
"Hey look at me" you placed your hands on both sides of his face making him look at you.
"You. Can. Never. Hurt. Me. Do you understand?" you said gazing firmly into his eyes. He nodded, smiling and sealed his lips to yours. The kiss grew heavier as he pushed you back making you lay down on your back on the couch. His lips never left yours, you slightly parted your lips allowing him to slip his tongue inside your mouth. His hands went under your sweatshirt drawing lazy patterns on your skin gently tugging onto it. You broke off the kiss trying to catch your breath and got up a little as Peter helped you to pull off your sweatshirt revealing your lacy bra.
He slotted himself between your legs and you wrapped them around his hip out of instinct. Peter kissed your cheeks slowly. You tilted your head a little as he dragged his lips down your neck, nose brushing against your flushed skin as he left butterfly kisses all over your exposed skin.
"Let me show you how much I love you." His glanced up to you voice low which sent shivers right down to your core.
He moved down further leaving a trail of wet kisses along the valley of your breasts as he pulled down your bra and latched on to one of your nipples sucking on to it gently, his other hand fondling with your other breast. You moaned as your nipples felt sensitive under his touch. Your fingers tangled with his soft brown curls as he licked and gently nipped on to your skin. His hand went to your back unclasping your bra as you slid it and threw it away. Your hands tugged on to his shirt he took the que and took it off. A light gasp escaped from you at the sight of his taut abdomen muscles as you ran your hands gently over them encircling your hands around his neck pulling him down to kiss him again. He then crawled down placing soft kisses along the way from your chest to your naval and pulled down your sleep shorts. He felt himself twitch at the sight of seeing you all soaked up for him.
"Who made you this wet babe?" He asked you teasingly running a finger through your clothed heat
"You Petey." You whimpered, biting your lower lip. Oh that pet name from your mouth did things to him as he felt himself grow painfully hardert in his sweatpants. He hooked his fingers to the waistband of your panties and looked up to you eyes seeking permission. You nodded to tell him to go on. He peeled them off you. You felt a little intimidated as you closed your legs a little before Peter stopped you.
"Don't be shy darling,you have no idea how pretty you are." He praised which made your cheeks turn to the brightest shade of pink. He spread your legs wide and ran his finger through your slick folds you let out a whimper at his touch. He brought his finger coated with your wetness to his mouth and sucked on it.
"You taste so sweet babe can't wait to taste more of you." He leveled his face to your soaking core placing butterfly kisses on your inner thighs making you squirm. Finally he decided to pay attention to the place where you needed him the most. Peter hooked his arms to your thighs and placed a soft kiss on your heat and you felt like your whole body combust into flames. He licked a long, bold stripe through your slit as you gasped loudly. You  moaned as he sucked on to your bundle of nerves flicking it with his tongue.
"Shit! Peter this feels so good!" Peter smirks against your heat delving into you as if you were his last meal.
He inserts a finger inside you and begins pumping it in and out of you simultaneously sucking on to your clit. Your body arched when he added another finger. His long slender fingers hitting all the right spots inside you as Peter felt your legs tremble in pleasure. Your hands went on to grab his hair tugging on it as his groaned face nuzzled into your heat. He lapped up all your juices. You felt yourself reaching the edge as a tight knot started to grow in your stomach clenching around his fingers.
"Let go Y/N I got you." He coaxed you curling his fingers inside you and you felt the coil snap as you orgasmed incoherently moaning his name. Peter worked you out through your high. He pulled away and slowly crawled up to you.
"You okay?" You hummed in reply still coming down from your high. He kissed you and you tasted yourself on his lips.
"Y/N you have to promise me if at any moment you feel like it's too much you will stop me ok?"
"Yes Peter I'll."
He got up and went to fetch a condom. He got rid of his pants and boxers and your eyes went to his throbbing length. You felt a little jittery as you were lying down on the couch in anticipation of what was going to happen next.
"It's rude to stare, you know." He quipped, you rolled your eyes.
He pumped himself a few times before tearing the foil and rolling the condom over his length and got on top of you propping himself on his forearms.
"It's going to hurt a little, I'll go slow don't worry." He brushed his tip on your folds spreading your wetness, then slowly guided himself inside you. You winced at the stinging sensation squeezing your eyes shut when you felt his tip stretching you open, your hands grabbed on to his biceps tightly. Peter’s eyes were trained on you as soon as he noticed your painful expression he stilled himself completely pulling out of you.
"Are you okay? Did I hurt you? I'm so sorry Y/N." He asked with a worried face and it made you fall in love with this man all over again making you forget all your pain.
"It's ok Peter, I'm fine. Just you know you are a little big for me. You said coyly.
"Okay I have an idea" he sat up on the couch leaning his back on the backrest of the couch as you sat up on your knees. He pulled you into his lap placing your legs on both sides of his thighs straddling him. He slowly guided you to position your and lower yourself onto his shaft.
"Just relax, take your time baby. I’m here for you." He reassured you. You went down carefully taking your time accommodating him inside you. You both let out a moan when he completely filled you up stretching your walls. You stayed like that for a while letting yourself adjust to him.
"Fuck! You're so tight baby, I’m not gonna last long" he whispered brushing his lips against your ear making you shudder. He slowly guided you to lift your hips on and off him.
You caught on to the rhythm and began to move up and down on your own, riding him at a slow pace. Your palms placed flat on his chest the faint stinging sensation fading away as little waves of  pleasure took over you making you moan softly. Peter hesitantly placed his hands on your waist trying not to grip on it too hard.
"It's okay Pete you can hold me I'm not made of glass, I will not break so easily." You chuckled. He wrapped his arm around your waist and another hand went to your face brushing away the hairs falling on your face. You began to pick up speed, your hips rolling onto his shaft harder and faster, beads of sweat forming on your bodies, your breasts rubbing against his muscular chest. You pressed your forehead to his closing your eyes starting to feel a little tired. Peter noticed that and held on to your hips stilling you at your place as he bucked his hip thrusting deep inside you hitting your g spot.
"Oh Pete right there!" you moaned. Peter began thrusting inside you with a new vigor as you clenched hard around him feeling the coil tighten inside you again. You were a moaning and panting mess by now your head dropped to the crook of his neck nibbling on to his smooth skin.
"You’re gonna cum for me darling?'' You could only nod in reply.
"Then cum for me, let me see my baby fall apart on my cock." A few more deep thrusts and you felt your walls pulsate as you came all over him. His thrusts grew sloppier as he chased his own high. You felt him twitch inside you and with a final thrust he was soon spilling inside the condom. You collapsed on top of him, face nuzzled into the crook of his neck, feeling exhausted from the speed and intensity of the deed you just engaged in.
"Wow" you said in between erratic breaths.
"You did so well babe." he mumbled, kissing your hairline while caressing your sweaty back with his hand as you both came down from your own highs. A few seconds passed before you finally sat up and lifted yourself off him. His hair was a mess, his soft brown eyes staring at you intently before lifting his hand to your cheek brushing his thumb on your cheekbone.
''You're so beautiful."
"Shut up" you felt shy under his gaze as you lightly slapped on his chest and rested your head against his broad chest again.
"I love you" you mumbled, closing your eyes listening to his slow and steady heartbeat.
"I love you too" he wrapped you in his arms sighing with content.
STATS & STAR WARS (peter parker)
Tumblr media
pairing: peter parker x cheerleader!smart!reader
warnings: none
summary: You are in peter’s math class, and you got partnered with him for a stats project. Peter is TERRIBLE at math, so you have to stay after school to help him with the project. and maybe hang out and study later?
word count: 2.5k
___________
Peter was dreading his math class today. He didn’t have any friends in that class, nor did he do the homework, but on top of it all, there was a group assignment. It wouldn’t have been as miserable if he had been put with MJ, or even Flash,
But he had been paired with you.
The best math student with the worst.
“Everyone get in your assigned groups, you have twenty minutes until the bell rings to work. These projects are due on Friday, so get them done!”
The lifeless room shuffled to life as the kids moved their desks and slung their brick-heavy backpacks over their shoulders.
You turned your head over your shoulder and made eye contact with a scared looking Peter Parker. Honestly, you could never figure out why he always looked like a deer in the headlights. You wave your hand and he follows the movement, quickly getting out of his seat and plopping down in the one next to you.
“You start on page 329 and I’ll start on 349,” you say, hoisting your textbook out of your backpack. He did the same, humming in agreement.
As you fingered through the textbook with delicate fingers, Peter scribbled down the notes from his pages. You could simply read the information and process it perfectly, thus classifying you as the smartest person in the room.
Peter, on the other hand, was a bit slow.
“Hey, um, what formula would you use for this problem?” He turned his messy notes to you.
You looked up from your concentration and scrutinized his page for a moment, before jotting down the equation on the corner of his paper.
“Use this one,” you said with a smile.
Peter laughed nervously. “Oh yeah, I forgot about that one.”
Although Peter was a little thick when it came to numbers and graphs, you were more than happy to help a classmate out. Especially if it meant that you would get free physics and AP biology tutoring.
Still, why did he act so… afraid?
There were a few moments of silence before the bell rang and students scrambled to collect their supplies. Peter didn’t move.
As you started to stand, he panicked. “Wait, I need more help!”
It was the last class period of the day, so everyone was eager to go home, to clubs or sports practices. You were a cheerleader, and tumbling practice wasn’t until later, so you had some time to stay after school and help Parker out.
You sank back into your seat and grabbed your calculator that you had just put away.
“Sorry Y/n, you can go home if you want, I think I can figure this one out.”
A soft smile warmed your face and you started plugging in numbers into the calculator. “You have ten problems left, and it’s a group assignment. We won’t go home until it’s finished,” you stated simply, writing an answer down on his paper. Your arm brushed over his and he flinched, but you didn’t notice. He always got so jumpy around you.
It was silent as you worked on the next problem. The vents whirred loudly, and when you slammed your pencil on the desk, Peter nearly had a heart attack and sat up straighter than a stick in his chair. If only his Spidey-sense could help him with not being so nervous.
“Parker, please just talk to me. You don’t have to be so quiet,” you complained, raising an eyebrow.
He opened his mouth, but no words came out. What an idiot, she’s probably thinking.
“How’s Ned? Got another lego set?” You try, his eyes looking anywhere but yours.
“Oh! Ned’s great! We just finished a limited edition Millenium Falcon piece!”
Idiot, idiot, idiot! She probably thinks I’m the biggest nerd now!
“Millenium Falcon, from Star Wars?” You asked with genuine interest.
Peter nodded and swallowed. Maybe he could redeem himself.
“Well, yeah, Ned’s a huge fan of Star Wars, I’m not as-”
“My brother doesn’t play with his legos anymore, and he hasn’t touched his Super Star Destroyer in years,” you say, cutting him off.
Peter was listening now. “The Super Star Destroyer?” The set cost almost a thousand on ebay, and there was no way that May would approve of the heavy purchase.
You shrug. “My parents bought it for him when he was 12. He was such a brat about it, they paid him to put it together. You can have it if you want, the box is only good at collecting dust.”
The rich, smart, hot cheerleader just offered him a Lego Star Wars set. Ned would never believe him.
“I… don’t know what to say,” Peter said, staring at his scribbles in disbelief.
“Thank you.” You teased, nudging him with your elbow.
I think I broke him, you thought to yourself as he looked at your eyes for a second, then continued to stare at the paper in front of him.
You clear your throat. “I’ve never seen Star Wars before.”
Peter looked at you in disbelief. Okay, he’s not broken. “What?” He nearly screamed at you.
Furrowing your brow, you continue copying down numbers from the dim screen on the calculator. “I don’t watch nerd movies, I watch chick-flicks and rom-coms with my friends, Peter Parker,” you say.
Your sparkling laughter fills the air as Peter’s face twisted into one of confusion.
“We need to watch Star Wars,” he blurted out.
You squint your eyes. “We need to finish our project.”
He groaned and put his face on the desk, but gasped when an idea came to his head.
“We can watch Star Wars and work on the project,” Peter said, lifting his face off the desk. His paper was stuck to his cheek and it fluttered to the ground when you blew on it.
“You mean, I watch Star Wars, while you work on the project,” you roll your eyes and pick up Peter’s paper off the ground. “Or is it the other way around.”
When you put the paper back on his desk he was nearly glaring at you.
“You need to watch Star Wars,” he insisted again.
“Fine. I’ll watch it when I get home from tumbling practice, you can wait until then,” your last statement wasn’t a question, rather, demanding Peter to be patient.
He huffed and nodded. “Deal. Your house or mine?”
You bite your lip to prevent yourself from laughing. “Peter, if you’re asking me on a date, then it’s your place, but if we’re just hanging out we can do my place.”
Peter’s face turned bright red and his palms were sweating profusely. “A date? No, no, we can just hang out at your house.”
You wink and he almost faints. “It’s a deal.”
Peter gets a text on his phone and starts packing his things. He gets halfway through the door when he stops. A clammy hand wraps around the doorframe and he peaks back at you.
“I, uh… probably need your address, and your phone number in case I get lost.”
You catch up to him, slinging your backpack over your shoulder. “Thought you’d never ask.”
He hands you his phone with a blank contact and you fill it in quietly. Peter can’t help but stare at you, this close to him. The way your lovely lashed eyes settle on the cracked screen, the hair that falls over your right shoulder, you make his knees weak.
You hand his phone back to him and he gasps softly when you make eye contact with him again. You tilt your head in confusion.
“Something wrong Peter?”
He shakes his head and steps backwards. “Uh, I’ll see you tonight! Good luck with tumbling practice!”
Peter runs faster than he’s ever run before.
__________
He can’t stop shaking when he comes to the door.
You live a little way out of the city, in a two-story home on a busy street. The streetlamps seem bright and the road well kept in contrast to the dirty and dim Queens area that Peter Parker lived in.
Peter looks at his phone one more time, making sure he has the right address and knocks on the door with a clenched fist.
To his relief, a small head poked through the crack in the door and looked up at you. It must’ve been one of your brothers.
“Who are you?” He asked innocently. Peter could see a glowing lightsaber in the hands of the elementary-age child, as if ready for attack.
“I’m Peter, I’m coming over to study with Y/n,” he said, hefting the AP Stats textbook in his arm.
The boy turned his head and yelled your name, to which you came quickly to the door.
Your hair was pulled back in a slick ponytail, but the ends were tousled from your cheerleading practice. A baggy t-shirt draped over your arms and fell down to your mid-thigh, and from there tight leggings were situated comfortably.
This was a different version of yourself, a tired, undone version. Normally your hair was perfectly curled, and you had the cutest clothes on, but at home, you could unwind and take things down a notch.
Peter thought you looked perfect. Either way, you were just stunning, sweats or skirts.
“Ben, let Peter in! Dude, I’m so sorry, he’s kinda a weirdo,” you said laughing.
“Ben,” Peter breathed. Ben Parker was his Uncle’s name.
Your brother scurried off behind you when Peter came inside.
“He’s the one that doesn’t play with his legos anymore,” you turn and look at him running off with his lightsaber. “Speaking of which-”
You plopped down a box by the door, the sound of plastic bricks clinking inside. “Your Super Star Destroyer. Don’t forget it here.”
Peter beamed. “Awesome!”
You gesture to the basement door. “Let's get our homework done. Both assignments.”
He looked confused and started panicking. There were two assignments?
You saw the look of confusion on his face. “Stats and Star Wars?”
Peter sighed with relief. “Oh yeah, duh.”
The basement was small but cozy. You had already set up the TV to watch Star Wars, and your backpack and textbooks were already strewn across the floor and the couch.
“There’s food and sodas in the fridge, feel free to help yourself,” you said, plopping down on the couch. You grab a heavy textbook and set it in your lap, opening up to wear a pencil marked your spot. Peter had a water bottle in his hands from the fridge and sat down gingerly next to you, pulling out a binder full of statistic worksheets.
You nod towards the TV. “Ready?”
His face glows. “Yes.”
Not even ten minutes into the movie, Peter asks for your help on a problem.
“Y/n, how do you do this one again?” He nearly cringes as you turn your attention away from the screen. He doesn’t want you to miss this scene.
You cheerfully point out that he needs to fix the Window setting on his calculator, then immediately go back to watching the movie.
Peter realized that you had your textbook open on your lap to help him.
So embarrassing. At least he only had two more problems left, then he could enjoy the movie.
You can sense his frustration as he flips through the pages of the textbook, trying to find the next solution. You study his paper for a second, equally as confused.
 “I actually don’t know how to do this one, I don’t think Mr. Saldor explained this concept,” you say with a sigh.
Peter didn’t feel so embarrassed anymore. You didn’t know all the answers in the universe.
“Wait, you actually don’t know?” He asked, a bright tone in his voice.
You roll your eyes and turn back to the screen. “No, Peter Parker, I actually don’t know all the answers in the universe.” You shut your textbook and set it on the floor. “I assume he’ll go over it in class tomorrow until then we need to work on our next assignment.”
Phew. The pain was over. He could finally watch his favorite movie with you. Pray to Thor that he doesn’t make himself more embarrassed.
“I need some water, I’ll be right back,” you get up, hoping that he gets the message to scoot over and make a move.
Of course, you wanted to hang out with Peter, and working on AP stats homework was the perfect excuse.
You thought he was the sweetest kid in your class, and he wasn’t too bad to look at either. You didn’t mind all of his nerdy-ness, his friend Ned, or the fact that he straight-up sucked at Statistics, in fact, you found it all the more endearing. And when he got all nervous around you, you just wanted to pull him in a hug and tell him to take it easy. You liked him for who he was. If only you had the courage to tell him that. Maybe you were just as shy.
As you come back to the couch, Peter was sitting with a blanket on his lap. He looked so uncomfortable. He had to focus so hard not to move away from you when you sat down so close to him.
You reached for the blanket. “Mind if we share?”
“Oh yeah!” He exclaimed, and then pushed all the blankets off of himself onto you.
“Peter.”
He looked at you, his lips pressed together and his eyes wider than ever before.
“What?”
“Stop worrying!” You burst out in laughter, clutching your gut when you couldn’t get any air.
“I can’t!” He nearly yelled at you as you continued to double over.
Once your breathing slowed you looked at him again and stifled a laugh. He looked terrified.
“Peter Parker, share the blanket with me.”
He blinked in surprise. You wanted to cuddle with him?
You could read the shock plastered all over his face. In one swift movement, the blanket was draped over the two of you and you snuggled into his side.
“This is the part where you put your arm around me,” you say softly now.
“Right,” he said, face blushing hard. His muscular arm wrapped around your shoulder and relaxed when he found the right spot to rest his hand.
“I kinda don’t know what’s going on in the movie,” you admitted.
“Guess we’ll have to watch from the start,” he said smoothly. Finally! He thought to himself. I think I’m catching onto this flirting thing!
“Guess so.”
