Intro

This is my sideblog for PintoBordeaux so if you get a reply or ask from that account just know I'm the same person! I post all of my art art on that account under the tag #PintosArt. But I always reblog anything sandman based of mine with the same tag here if you really want to avoid my Superbat art (but I recommend you give it a tryyyy XD)

I made this for the lovely and kind @moorishflower based on a little snippet when the first beginnings of "Beautiful, Strange, and New" were just starting to be written. The scene is from the end of part 1 (chapter 9) which you can read here!

I was so inspired by "Untouchable" by @staroftheendless (Currently rated M) that I had to make this art for it. The (SFW and G rated) excerpt that inspired this below the cut!

Matthew hops through the trash and disappears under one of the boxes. When he comes out again, he has something in his beak. He flies over to Dream and drops it in his outstretched hand. "Check this out, boss."

It's a watch, and Dream's heart does a little hop. He's seen that watch before, on Hob's wrist. It didn't occur to him then how old it looked compared to modern times. Only the strap must have been changed at some point.

Dream turns it around in his fingers and finds that it's engraved with a year. 1889. Looking at the time, Dream notices that the watch has stopped, but Hob must have done it on purpose. The little mechanism to turn the fingers on the clock has been pulled out, freezing the time at 10:26.

"Does that make sense to you?" Matthew says, and Dream shakes his head although his thoughts are racing.

He remembers all too well how he stormed out of "The White Horse Tavern" in 1889, and although he doesn't remember the exact time, 10:26 could be a very good guess. Why in the world would Hob engrave that on a watch and then wear it when it doesn't even tell the time?

Made this as a companion piece to go with the other billboard art for “A day off” the sequel to “A night off” by Mawiiish (aka @superbattrash)

Basically Bruce Wayne models for a perfume ad and it WRECKS Clark for a while after he sees the billboards. Seriously go read the amazing fics and give the author some LOVE

I wanted to combine the adoptable prompt "both are slaves" + my bingo square "clothes fetish" into a potential AU where both Hob and Dream are on display. Dream's clothes consisting only of beautiful gems and Hob helping to show off the "goods" (both the jewels and Dream) to potential buyers.
