Minecraft Doco Makers Upload Film To Pirate Bay

Mojang Say no to Blockchain and NFTs With Minecraft

There's good news regarding NFTs! Mojang has released a brand new guide to the rules surrounding NFTs and Blockchain.

You've probably seen the baffling amount of frauds in the field of NFTs specifically, and businesses that use the "blockchain" when they have absolutely no need for it. Thankfully, Mojang have listened and put out some rules and the gist is that "integrations of NFTs with Minecraft are generally not something we would allow or even support" they stated.

Their news post goes over an introduction to what NFTs actually are and giving a brief overview of why they have rules for server owners as well as creators of content. The goal in brief is to "ensure that Minecraft remains a community where everyone has access to the same content". The issue is the way in which NFTs "create models of scarcity and exclusion that are in contradiction to our guidelines and the spirit of Minecraft".

Mojang will make their position clarified on this issue, by stating that "As as a result, to ensure that Minecraft players have a safe and enjoyable experience, blockchain technologies are not permitted to be integrated inside our Minecraft client or server applications, nor can they be used to create NFTs that are associated with any game content, such as worlds skins, items for personas, or any other mods. I needed to update Java this morning and I was in a hurry. I clicked through the first page of the wizard and didn't really pay to. Then I remembered that it was installing the Ask.com application. Grrr.

I could have canceled it, but I pushed on. After the installation there was no indication that the extension was installed. Chrome reported that the extension "Search App By Ask Version 2" was installed when I restarted Chrome.

I did not enable it however, and I checked my search engine settings. While ask.com was added, it wasn't selected as my default engine. Premiumcontent That's it!
