Dick Clark always enjoyed having them on American Bandstand, their 80's American Bandstand performances are pretty famous among the fans. (Especially the one where Ron took over the mic, after which Dick Clark sent the letter seen above.)

^ Here we see them with Jane Wiedlin from The Go-Go's (also running in this competition) on American Bandstand, they did the song Cool Places together. (The music video for it is also worth checking out. As are most of their videos, actually, and they definitely had some good ones in the 80's.)

She said, her voice was sweet, it has always been. I was fooled by the genuine she expressed.

I clung onto her, letting so very few teardrops have its freedom. She's my saviour.

A loud crack was quick to shattered the trust I placed upon her, I dropped from her hold down on my knees, wailing out of pain the moment it spread further.

Everything was hazy and blurry, it hurts.

I'll save you from the wicked outside world, your safety will forever be maintained. I promised.

I could only comprehend a few words before passed out, trapped in the hands of my mother.

Perhaps I should've picked up the signs, as the time I knew it, it already passed. She is nothing more than a possessive beast trying to keep its property intact. And I am once again to be an object for someone to use as they please.

alright!! propaganda for THE best ducktales episode!! let's go!

ASTROBOYD

astroboyd is the best ducktales episode literally ever. boyd gets a featured role, gyro gets a backstory, huey gets to be the main character For Once, its amazing. my roommate and i watch it over and over and over again, i think we've watched it a dozen times by now?? (keep in mind, we watched ducktales in january). it is one of the few ducktales episodes with a special title card, and it has very very good autism representation which is always a plus. also!! huey gets to stim!! it introduces some of the best one-off characters, like dr. akita and inspector tezuka, who both seem like very developed characters despite maybe getting a collective seven minutes of screen time. AND!! the animation!! during the battle scene at the end, they stylize the animation to reflect anime fight scenes, and i genuinely cannot think of another moment in ducktales where they do that. it's its own little self-contained story inside of ducktales and i absolutely adore it. i'll leave you with one more piece of propaganda (that i honestly should've started with, it's enough to convince you on its own):
