Oooof, that's hard. You guys really like this angsty love triangle stuff, huh? 😂 I genuinely think Sam would rather saw off his own hand than hurt Dean that way. But this is like, the only thing I could think of on this one. 😅

See this imagine for context: You are Dean's one exception.

Pairing: Dean W. x Reader, one-sided Sam W. x Reader Word Count: 1,100

Imagine: Sam crosses the line.

Goddamn witches.

That's the last coherent thought Sam has, before his mind is no longer completely his to control.

Well, it's still his mind. His body. But the careful door in his mind and in his heart, reinforced with steel and chained shut with titanium, combo-coded, locked and loaded, now has broken hinges.

Thoughts he hasn't allowed himself to think for months are pried open, with a sick kind of enjoyment in pain.

You're his brother's girl. Sam can't help but love you. He wants you. And now, he might be able to have you.

The witch is dead, but the spell she just hit Sam with remains. He's not dead, so that's a plus.

"Are you okay?" you ask him, slightly breathless. You're the closest to where he's sprawled on the ground, so you go to him. You touch his arm, and he can't help but clamp down on your hand. He looks at you with the thinly veiled eyes of a hunter as he smiles. Because your concern reaches the deepest parts of him.

"I'm fine," he says.

But Dean reads the hunger in his brother's eyes. He's subtle in the way he grasps your shoulder and Sam's (noticeably tighter).

"But what happened? How do you feel?" you ask, trying to take stock of what you're all dealing with here.

"I uh...feel fine, actually," Sam says. He rolls his shoulders. His gaze focuses on you. Dean holds him back from getting off the ground.

"Get the book. See if there's a way to fix this," Dean tells you without taking his eyes off Sam.

Sam tilts his head at Dean, the beginning of an angry frown on his lip as you rush away to find the witch's spell book.

"What's the matter, Dean?" Sam asks. He doesn't bother to lower his voice. (He literally doesn't have a filter anymore.) "Afraid of what might happen when she actually has the chance to choose?"

Dean's lips purse as his eyes darken. "This isn't you. And when you wake up from this, you're either gonna hate yourself for even thinkin' what you're thinkin', or you're gonna have one hell of a headache."

Sam stares back incredulously. He scoffs. "What're you gonna do, kill me?" They both know that's not happening.

But that's also when Dean knocks him the hell out.

When Sam wakes, it's to you stuffing tissues in his bloody nose. He groans a bit. He looks at you and still wants. But when he looks down at himself, he's in the bunker, handcuffed to the war room table.

You look worried for him as you go back to your side of the table with the book. Dean is oddly nowhere in sight. Sam thought he'd be watching you (and Sam) like a hawk.

"Dean'll be back in a sec. He's trying to get ahold of Rowena," you supply. "But how're you feeling? What's the spell doing to you exactly?"

Sam rolls the kinks out of his neck and removes the tissues, even though his entire face radiates with pain. His brother once promised to break his nose, and he did just that.

"Basically? I think it took away my inhibitions," he replies. More like threw them in a blender and put his deepest, headiest desires into overdrive.

You frown. "Like a really bad bender, or a truth serum kind of thing? But why would he punch you out for that?"

Your gears are turning rapidly, weighing out all the options. You always were smart. Sam leans forward slowly. Noting your thread of wariness, his face softens. He doesn't want to scare you...

He sighs. "Listen...there's something I've been wanting to tell you for a while now."

He reaches out a hand. You're looking at him in frozen surprise. His curled fingers brush your cheek. He leans in toward your face.

But you flinch and pull away.

"What the hell are you doing?" you ask.

Sam should've known, but it still hurts him. His jaw clenches. The spell takes away his self-preservation, however.

Just as he might've tried with words to finally confess the depths of his heart, the door creaks open.

The sound of Dean's heavy boots approaching makes him flinch. But Sam looks over with an unrepentant stare.

Dean glances at Rowena, nostrils flaring. "Fix him." He gestures at Sam before he joins you on your side of the table, resting a protective hand on your back.

Rowena shoots him a droll look. "Only because you asked so nicely."

"I don't need fixing!" Sam argues, glaring at Dean. His voice echoes on the bunker's walls. "You're just afraid of what happens if she knows the truth!"

Your eyes widen further. You look from Sam, to your boyfriend. Dean's jaw is clenched tight.

"Okay, what the fuck is going on?!" you ask in earnest. Dean meets your gaze for a moment, his face tense. His reluctant eyes communicate to you things you never knew. Things that clog emotion in your throat. Dean turns back to Sam.

"Don't do this, Sammy. It don't end well for you," Dean says.

"Like hell," Sam retorts.

"Okay, sleep now, dear," Rowena says. And with a wave of her hand and a haze of violet, Sam's world once again blackens.

When he next wakes, he's in his own bed. Not restrained. He indeed has a massive headache, and it's hard to breathe through his still broken nose. He groans and turns, and his brother is there.

When the overwhelming guilt sets in, Sam knows he's himself again, with all the careful walls around his heart put back in place. Rowena must've broken the spell when he was unconscious. Dean can see the truth in Sam's eyes.

"There he is," Dean remarks dryly. "Our giant Jekyll and Hyde."

Sam inhales deeply. "Dean..." I'm sorry doesn't quite cut it.

"She knows," Dean says, after a moment. "Obviously."

Sam nods, swallowing past a lump in his throat. He hesitates to ask the next burning question, because part of him knows the answer.

"It doesn't change anything."

Sam's head turns at the sound of your voice. You stand in the doorway, with your arms crossed despite the disheartened look on your face. Your eyes meet his, steady and sad, but firm.

"I know," Sam says, with a small, self-deprecating smile. "I'm sorry...for all this."

"It's not your fault," you reply. Spell or no spell, the way he feels is not his fault.

You step into the bedroom and go to Sam's bedside, laying a hand on Dean's shoulder. That hand smoothes up his neck, and your fingers briefly thread into his hair. Another silent conversation passes between you and Dean, the way only lovers that close can accomplish.

After a beat, Dean nods and gets up out of his chair. He thumbs at your cheek; it's both an answer to your unspoken request and an endearment. Then he pats Sam's shoulder before he leaves you and Sam alone in the room.

Trust. That's what that is. Dean trusts you, and now that the spell has worn off, he trusts Sam again.

Sam meets your gaze. As awful as he feels, he still loves you. He knows you know by the way your gaze meets his.

All he wants to do is touch you.

To apologize, and to touch you.

He hates himself.

You shake your head. "I love you, Sam. As my friend. My brother."

"I know," he nods. "I'm sorry."

"You don't have to be sorry," you reply. "You just have to respect that."

"'Course, I do," Sam nods again. You would've never known, if not for the damn spell.

You surprise him by taking his hand. Yours is soft and warm and kind.

Always kind...

But never truly his to hold.

Iconic. Causal yet refined. Love how her gauntlets and necklace can be used as weapons as well. Peak milf.

Baatar Sr: 6/10

Beautifully dilfy. I like the muted greens of his clothes. They work nicely with his hair, greyed by the stress of prolonged exposure to Beifong. Though his necklace defying gravity sometimes baffles me.

Baatar Jr: 4/10

An ok outfit for our favourite dorky loser. What the fuck are those glasses. Points for how the loose short sleeves accentuate his weak lanky little arms.

Huan: 9/10

Beautiful. Love the contrast of the greens silvers and greys. And the teardroplike pendants on his necklace are a lovely addition. The hairstyle is iconic and i adore the eyebrow piercing. Though his gauntlets bending at his wrists is a little weird.

Opal: 5/10

It's... okay. I love the necklace, but her bracelets look like they've been made out of the pipe attached to my kitchen sink. Her outfit is relatively plain above the waist, but the bottom half is disconcertingly complex. Do we need that many triangles? Really?

Wing & Wei: 7/10

Solid and pretty simple for our sporty bois. The way their robes work are a little confusing at times though. I love the little details that differentiate them. Like the placement of their armbands, and Wing's jewellery being rather angular, while Wei's is circular.

Aiwei: 10/10

What can I say other than slay?

The nosering? Slay. The greens and yellows combination? Slay. The tassels? Slay. I would've thought his glasses would've cladged with his nosering but they actually look really good.

The firat outfit is kinda meh... its ok, just nothing special.

The second one I love! Even though it's just a recolour, the greys and browns and beiges add a lot of character and I love it! It feels a little more unique than the usual greens. I love the collar and necklace.

Okay there is no new art or anything today (the how i do stuff is w.i.p.) but i got a few new pencils and a pen last week and i wanted to do a new comparison.

I'm putting it under a cut because it is really not scientific nor professional, simply a random observation from someone who draws as a hobby and i know there is a limited amount of people who would be interested in that.

The pens in question:

uni-ball Signo white Sakura Gelly Roll 0.5 white

The comparison

The upper white line is the GellyRoll, the lower white line is the uni-ball. The blended column was blended with one of those woodless white pencils, not a paper blender stump or anything. Also please just ignore how bad i am with the layout

I mainly kept to the 2B hardness, i'll explain why there is two 4B-s included when i get to them. So let's go over them one-by one.

Faber-Castell (triangle) 2B Trusted friend. Slightly lighter than the usual 2B pencils but it is reliable, looses sharpness somewhat slower than most. Smudges less then most. Mid range price.

Faber-Castell 9000 2B Cool stuff. It is very smooth, blends very nicely, the smudgeing isn't too bad. Upper mid range price.

Faber-Castell Pitt Matt 2B Novelty but for what. I first bought this because i was excited about the supposedly less shine this has over other graphite pencils. Which is exciting, needing less editing after scanning. What i did not know at the time, that for the same saturation you have to purches 2 up to get the same result. So initially i was utterly disappointed with the 2B because i just wasn't able to get the level of depth and darkness that i like. Upper mid range price, not sure i would recommend, but it is fun to try once. Upper range price.

Faber-Castell Pitt-Matt 4B Enter 4B version. This is what a 2B pencil is. This one redeemed the 2B one. It actually is about the same result as the F-C 9000. They are fun but.. not really that special. Yes there is somewhat less shine to them but i don't think they worth the price just for that. Upper range price.

Koh-i-Noor Hardtmuth 1500 4B Only included to serve as comparison to the Pitt Matt 4B. Low price range.

Koh-i-Noor Hardtmuth 1500 2B Reliable. Reasonably smooth, nothing special but in a good way. Low price range. Holds sharpness relatively well. Low price range.

Koh-i-Noor 1770 2B My oldest friend. Bit scratchier than the K-i-N 1500 but nothing too abrasive. Holds sharpness relatively well. Worst blendability. Cheap.

Staedtler Noris 2B An oldie but a goodie. I know this is many people's favourite, and not without reason. It's nice, reasonably smooth. For my tastes it looses sharpness a bit faster than i'd like. Cheap.

Staedtler Mars Lumograph black 2B Now this one is a new one for me and i am not that floored by it. It is a nice and smooth feeling pencil but i don't feel the step up in price is bigger than the step up in how it feels to use. Upper range price.

Deli 2B This feels very close to the Lumograph actually. I would not be surprised if the goal was a more accessable alternative. It is nice and smooth, very nice blendability. Cheap.

Tombow Mono100 2B Now this. To be honest this is the one where i actually felt like a significant difference. This one is nice to hold, feels so good on paper, it is smooth, blends nicely. I'm loving everything about it. I'd consider this an expensive one, but i'm not mad about it. This one actually has ther shits to cost more than the rest.

For the two white pens, you can see how well they work on graphite. Both is pretty nice, they don't really differ in price either. I am more partial towards the GellyRoll, because it has a bit more opacity to it, but honestly the uni-ball is almost as good and the application of that is much much smoother. So they are about on equal grounds. It all comes down to preference really.

So yeah, that's me for today i guess. ✌🏻

I've been studying character design for a while, and the ones I struggle with the most are the villains.

Because, plain and simple, I don't understand what characteristics create that prejudice in the public, that they see them and instantly say "okay, that's the bad guy".

So I thought: I need less pressure, make drawing fun again!... Let's practice with our favorite franchise! The ninja turtles.

And that's where I found A Mixed Bag and the Swap Turtles

"The Alignment-Swap Universe (or, Swapverse) is an original turtle 'verse in which pretty much all character's alignment is swapped. So the TMNT of this universe are evil, whereas Shredder and Krang are good guys out to stop them from menacing the citizens of New York."

I just LOVE Mikey's characterization in this universe. He is so unintimidating and so dangerous.

Mikey was my first choice because, truth be told, I was intrigued by the kind of villain he is. The kid is an entity of chaos trapped in the body of a turtle, I don't know what the hell he's capable of and that terrifies me to no end but he's so charismatic. I just love every dialogue of him.

And the appearance of someone like that was a challenge…

I took Halloween pumpkins, Harley Quinn's classic look and put them in a blender with a teenage skater whose brain plays music 24/7. AND BAM! Swap Mikey's look.

Some details:

The forked tongue is in honor of the Dark Turtles from 2003, the first evil turtles I met, Mikey's counterpart had this long chameleon tongue and I wanted to give something similar to my boy.

The stop sign and danger tape are to represent hes nature as the team's "wild card" and along with the triangles throughout the design express danger.

The few circles are to give an illusion of tenderness and softness. Yk, because he's the heart

He has a pendant that was going to be two M's but in the end I reduced it to just one

The smile scar was originally going to be one side only

Those colored balls are actually bombs

He has star stickers

It’s not something that I’m into (primarily because Finrod is not a blorbo) but ohhhhhhhhhhh the fealty potential. The fact that they likely died in the same place, together. That Edrahil joined him on his quest with Beren oughhhhhhhh I am putting them in the blender together. So tasty.

Beren/Lúthien/Celegorm

It has great sexy potential in the right hands, and I am a sucker for love triangles (of any configuration and level of fucked upness) being resolved (in any way) by simply making it a polycule.

hihihi tysm sm anon !!!! i’m writing this on the bus so sorry if i’m rumbling and sound rushed 😭😭 (it ended being a lot of writing so i put a more thingy if you really want to read it LMFAO)

so before i even do my makeup i always do my skincare which is just double cleansing, witch hazel and moisturiser :) whenever i do this my base always ends up smooth (i have a lot of acne scars which always makes my makeup look cakey 😭)

i do my eyebrows first with pomade & powder, tbh brands don’t really matter in my defence cus literally all of my makeup is shein glam and shit i stole 😭😭😭😭😭.

i feel like eyebrows are what pulls together your makeup besides lashes so research what style of brows suit you!! i then carve them out bc i luv instagram 2016 brows theyre my baeeeeee, you can use whatever brand you want but because i have heavy yellow undertones i just used a colour corrector palette and make my own shade lol if anyone relates to me buy this lol. when carving under your brows use a concealer shade and for the top use ur foundation shade :) then after blend it so it looks more seamless and you barely have to use a lot of foundation on ur forehead

BASE ROUTINE IS SO CRUCIAL ILL TRY AND BE VV SPECIFIC WITH THIS!!!!!

you don’t need to invest in a really good primer, i use the elf dupe of the milk hydrogrip primer and vaseline and das it!!!! also, let your skincare sink into ur skin first or it’ll just slide everywhere bae

use whatever foundation you want, if u want recs my faves were the elf foundation in sand or the hydrating foundation on shein.. also in sand, again i don’t use any high end products bc #broke nd bc you can get a good base with cheaper products. put your foundation on the back of your hand nd then apply with you fingers since you have more control on where to put it (people say don’t do this but if you want that full glam beat look start from the perimeter of your face so it doesn’t look.. faded? idk lol) and use a DAMP beauty blender to blend, soak it under a tap so it gets very soft and then dry it so it’s damp you know 😝 and then blending inwards into your t-zone, making sure not to touch ur brows and under eyes (it’ll make it look more cakey when adding concealer on top of foundation). and after you think you’ve blended, BLEND MORE!!!!! get a setting spray or a spray bottle and mist your face then blend more just in case, plus it makes ur base more smoother no i do not know why but it works

for concealer this is where i’d recommend using a colour corrector rather than concealer imo, i use a mix of a peach and yellow colour corrector for my concealer but again if u like what u use, use it 😭. i like a bright undereye so i apply a lot but u don’t have to ofc, place it below your waterline so you can blend up. as placement goes i do tiny triangles because i’m mentally since in 2016 lol, then after let it set a little for more coverage ig. if you want a full coverage undereye i suggest blending the concealer up into your waterline as well again idk why i did it by accident once and i’ve never turned back lmfao

people say to let your makeup dry on its own before setting it but with this much product you really can’t and i crease really easily so 😭😭. i use banana powder and a mix of translucent powder and mix them together on a puff (dab a little on the back of your hand before applying) apply the powder under your eyes first, i bake but u don’t have to, then your forehead, then chin and buff the rest on the rest of your face then mist setting spray n then yay base is nearly down queen ✊✊

for the rest of your base it’s really up to how you like it, for me i’m really into browns and not so much blushy tones so i use a mauve blush since it blends really well into bronzer, be light handed and patient with your powders, it can look really muddy if you just slap it on. use very fluffy brushes, it’s easier to blend and harder to make it look muddy and sharp (unless u like that lol)

eyes r really simple all i do is use my bronzer and slap is on my eyes and place a creamy eyeshadow on the lids, tight line my lash line with a pencil liner then mascara and lashes LOL easy peasy lemon squeezy. here are the lashes i swear by (i had the blue ones in the these pics <3)

nd for lips i just wipe off any product i had on my lip and line it with a really cool toned brown lip liner (i hate warm brown lip shades…..😡) and blend the inner part into my laps and slap on clear gloss AND YUH DONE YAY!!!!!!!

wip inspiration tag — next day after dawn

thank you max @goose-books for the tag!! the rules for this one are list as many inspirations/influences as you would like for your current work in progress, and explain how they’ve shaped your project!

next day after dawn (or, the project formerly known as historieswip) is a second word political fiction novel that's basically a mishmash shakespeare's histories with 90% less battle scenes and 90% more insane family dynamics. after everyone's favourite boyboss war criminal king gets deposed, his inner circle gets locked up by the new regime, and we follow them as they try to figure out what to do next and slowly drive each other insane.

henry vi part 3 (aka the whole wars of the roses tetralogy): there's a reason this project is just nicknamed historieswip. ohhhhh babygirl we got histories and i am not preserving shakespeare's timelines at ALL, i am just throwing those babies in a blender until i get 1. vaguely medieval english political structures 2. war with not-france 3. huge royal family with so much wrong with them. but from the henry vi plays specifically! this is where like half of the characters come from. the prince cyrus/cassandane/darcy dynamic is just the henry vi/margaret/suffolk love triangle, the house of lunares is the house of york: girlboss edition, and everything about the prince cyrus and mona dynamic comes from me Thinking about henry vi and richard iii foils moments. i could say more but we'd be here all day.

henry iv part 1 (and kind of 2): so. king cyrus is hal but that's also so mean to hal because king cyrus is SO much worse. however. he does have the hal backstory, by which i mean he was a rakish little alcoholic prince with a gay little boytoy until his dad died and then he had to get Serious and banish all his besties. and renan is his poins except if poins didn't get banished and stuck as the world's most depressed advisor faking respectability instead. ALSO kane my best friend kane is basically my hotspur <33

henry v: again, king cyrus is basically just henry v with the war crimes dialed up to 11. this one is the main inspiration for his conquering hero era and also the conflict with not-france and the not-french wife. it's also where i stole the title from!

king john: most of the histories i'm stealing from are at least like. connected to each other. king john is not but i love philip the bastard so fucking much so he's here (with extra transmasc aroace swag). that's helios — the war hero king's bastard who shows up to rise above his station and annoy everyone around him. and maybe be terminally loyal to a king who really doesn't deserve it

succession: the elevator pitch for this project is basically shakespeare's histories meets succession. specifically, season 1 episode 2 of succession, where the all-powerful patriarch is suddenly out of commission and maybe never coming back and the rest of the family is left losing their minds and wondering what the fuck they do now.

the hunger games: here's where i put on my clown shoes and admit that. um. you know how i said kane is hotspur. well he is but he's ALSO cato from the hunger games, as characterized in the criminally long fanfiction i wrote in middle school. and drea is um. clove. ANYWAY. thg is also an inspiration in terms of worldbuilding because i'm going for something kind of post-post-apocalyptic where there are vast disparities in technology in different parts of the country after decades of war and inequality. so we get modern tech plus medieval weapons, thank god.

darkling: this is partly a hatecrime against max my best friend max @goose-books because once upon a time i started jokingly shipping the two horrible old men in this book and then got so attached to the dynamic that i fully imported it into this project and made it canon gay. sorry bestie. but GENUINELY darkling is one of the best fucking books i've ever read and such a huge inspiration for how i do shakespeare retellings and also fucked up family dynamics.

gideon the ninth: this book is really nothing like gtn but i have to give it a shoutout because reading gtn was what inspired me to create this project! basically because i remembered how much i love ensemble casts and decided i wanted to write one. there are some similarities in terms of the vibe of everyone being locked in a big fucked up house together and everyone having super on the nose themed names but really just shoutout to tamsyn muir for being such a good writer that she made me want what she had (so many blorbos)

A whirlwind review of "Twisters," the movie that'll blow you away... or at least try to!

Imagine "Twister" had a baby with a Syfy channel original, and you've got "Twisters" - a stormy love triangle that's about as deep as a puddle after a light drizzle. Director Lee Isaac Chung clearly wanted to make it rain CGI, but ended up with more of a visual mist. (But there is one fun, inventive scene in which a shipload of fireworks is thrown into the funnel of a tornado, resulting in a colorful dazzler.)  

The characters are so two-dimensional, they'd blow away in a light breeze. We've got Kate (a reasonably sympathetic Daisy Edgar-Jones), the tornado whisperer; Javi (a stiff and stilted Anthony Ramos), the tech wizard; and Tyler (a scenery-chewing Glen Powell), the YouTube sensation who's more full of hot air than the storms he chases. It's a recipe for disaster, and not the kind this movie was aiming for.

The plot features a cyclone of clichés, spinning from tragedy to triumph with all-too-convenient plot twists. Speaking of which, the CGI tornados are impressive… if you squint hard enough and pretend it's still 1996. (Sans the iconic cow... I guess PeTA put the kibosh on that this time around!)

And then there’s the finale—which comes after several other tornados our trio has more-than-miraculously survived. It's like the writers threw a bunch of disaster movie tropes into a blender and hit "puree." We've got a Little Leaguer dropping her bat in slow-mo, people seeking shelter in a movie theater (showing "Frankenstein" during the thunder and lightning scene), and a scramble for shelter that'll leave you wondering if Oklahoma outlawed storm cellars along with common sense. And, because why not, there’s the whole hero running through the airport to catch the girl before she leaves on a jet plane. (However, Glen Powell is quite charming and fun as the love interest.)

In the end, "Twisters" is a perfect storm of mediocrity. It tries to funnel in excitement but ends up sucking the air out of the room. If you're looking for a movie night that won't leave you thunderstruck, maybe wait for this one to blow over to streaming services.

When it comes to "Twisters," the forecast calls for a 100% chance of disappointment with a high probability of eye-rolling. Don't say I didn't warn you - this movie is more of a light breeze than the Category 5 spectacle it thinks it is!

i feel like here is my safe place. i get too immersed in social media and it becomes like a vicious circle. but i don't really wanna spend my time like this. like tumblr is just different. i don't feel this pressure, i don't feel this need to perform, it's like a safe haven. i have a friend with whom i feel like a safe haven and im very luck to have him. i still feel lonely but at least i have friends whom i truly love. i am a lucky one.

i had another depressive episode but it passed. i had a cup of tea with a, well, how do i say it in english.... it's easter today in ukraine and traditionally, we make this sort of bread(???) idk, google told me it was called bread made out of cottage cheese lol but im thinking of another name, a more suitable one. it's made out of cottage cheese, you can add some raisins, condensed milk, sour cream, candied fruit, chocolate, whatever you fancy:) and then you mix all of this, you can use blender to make it a bit of smoothier condition and then you can put it in a special form (it's a form of a triangle but not really, i think im wrong, i'll attach a pic of it for a better visuality lol) and there you have it. it's really delicious and im a big fan of this dish;)

btw, it's called "paska", even tho you can also come across "pasha" too. "pasha" is pronounced like "pa-s-ha".

Ingredients:

For 2 servings

Fresh broccoli 6.35oz Dry spices to taste Almond flour 3.53oz Coconut oil 1 tablespoon Egg 1 pc. Salt/pepper to taste Dry garlic to taste Microgreens 1 tablespoon

Instruction:

Chop the broccoli in a blender until it is mushy, and put it in a bowl. Add almond flour, coconut oil, and egg. Bring to taste with spices. Form the finished dough into a ball and let it rest for 10-15 minutes in the refrigerator. Line the baking sheet with parchment, lay out the dough, and smooth it out with medium-thick hands. Bake at 392F for about 15 minutes. Cut the finished tortilla into portions. Store for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.

Cauliflower Carpaccio

An effective way to love cauliflower, even more, is to try it in the form of carpaccio with truffle sauce.

Ingredients:

For 4 servings

Cauliflower inflorescences 16.93oz Yuzu truffle sauce 8.82oz Truffle oil 1 tablespoon Smoked paprika 1/2 teaspoon Dill greens 1/2 teaspoon Microgreens 1 tablespoon

For the sauce:

Mirin sauce 4.41oz Soy sauce with shiso/yuzu extract 1 tablespoon Truffle paste 2 tablespoons Salt to taste Fresh lemon 1 tablespoon

For a serving, there is 6.35oz cabbage, 2 tablespoons of sauce, 1 teaspoon of truffle oil, paprika, and microgreens for decoration.

Instruction:

For the sauce, combine all the ingredients, and mix. Cut the cauliflower into thin slices. Place on a plate with a slide. Pour the prepared sauce over it. Garnish with paprika and salad microgreens.

Avocado Sandwich

This is an interesting vegetable dish for a delicious and balanced diet. Here is an original way to make a vegetable waffle and turn it into a sandwich.

Ingredients:

For 2 servings

For the waffle:

Zucchini 5.29oz Spinach s / m 3.53oz Cauliflower 3.53oz Celery stalk 1.76oz Olive oil 1 tablespoon Rice flour 1.76oz Salt to taste Rosemary to taste Microgreens 1 tablespoon

For the filling:

Avocado 4.23oz (pre-skip in a blender with lemon juice 1 teaspoon) Dried tomatoes 1.76oz

Instruction:

Mix all the ingredients in a blender. Grease the waffle iron with oil and bake the waffles until ready. Whisk the avocado with lemon juice in a blender. We cut the finished waffles crosswise into two triangles. Put the avocado puree and dried tomatoes on half of the waffle and cover with the second half on top. Decorate the dish with microgreens

Homemade pesto sauce

The magnificent smell of fresh basil, thick green olive oil from a small farm, pine nuts-a fusion of pure pleasure in pesto sauce. Homemade – a hundred times tastier and healthier, because the products are the freshest, most fragrant, herbs that give all their benefits. Nuts and Extra Virgin olive oil create an excellent base of healthy fats – it will help the absorption of phytonutrients and vitamins.

Ingredients:

For 2 servings

A large bunch of basil A little coriander or arugula Pine nuts 3.53oz Garlic 1 clove Cold-pressed olive oil 5-7 tablespoons Salt to taste

Instruction:

Put all the ingredients in a blender and whisk until a homogeneous mush is obtained, 2-4 minutes, depending on the strength of the blender. Decorate the dish with microgreens.

This is a vegan option. In the classic, you can add 1.76oz parmesan cheese, finely grated. Bon Appetit!

can you go in detail about the pamonha procedure

yeah sure. this will get long

first get corn cobs. it needs to still have the leaves

peel them. separate leaves that are not torn or dirty. normally second or third layer are best, the ones from deeper layer tend to be too thin

peel the hair. u can throw it all away. it is as boring and time consuming as it sounds

(psa it's pretty common to find catterpillars when peeling corn, at least here in brazil. just cut the part they are on away and pretend nothing happened)

if you manage to buy corn already cleaned up and also the leaves i guess it makes things easier. the superior experience is to have like 10 people peeling hair and throwing caterpillars at each other though

get a grater. use the side that has all the small circles, like the one you use for grating onion when u want to make it a paste

grate the corn. it is veeeeery tiring. some people cut the corn grains and use a blender but it gets too liquid imo

get a table spoon and scrape all the corn you didn't manage to get out grating. just go through it with the edge of the spoon, concave side down. trust me there is a lot left in the cob. this takes time and is also tiring xD

after u grated at least 3 cobs u will be left with a bunch of corn puree. salt it and add vegetable oil. i measure it by eye but i would say 3 cobs take about 3 tbspn of oil. some people add sugar as well (i really dislike it personally)

now to the hard part. you will need the leaves and some string, like yarn. the leaves have a triangle shape, so you will join the bases of the triangle together, like this ◀️▶️. make it overlap a bit. get some of the mixture with a laddle and put some inside the leaves. that mixture will grow in size when cooking so don't put too much. it doesnt matter it's small as long you have enough leaves for all your mixture. put a piece of cheese inside, more or less the size of your finger. the cheese needs to be of a kind that doesnt melt and is not cured. so, fold the leaves over the mixture. do it over the bowl you have the mixture in because you will fail your first try and everything will spill. trust me. when you manage, quickly grab a piece of string and go around everything horizontally and vertically, shutting it close. some people like to add more layers of leaves before closing with a string but i don't really know why besides just making it a chore to open later xD

boil water in a large pot. put ur pamonha in it and leave for about 40 minutes

some people separate the mixture in half sweet and half savory and use different collored strings to identify. the preference in pamonha is pretty divisive even in one household so people just tend to acomodate both. i am a savory gal so when I am making for myself I dont bother. also i don't put cheese either i hate the taste, but this is a very, very unpopular opinion as most say the cheese is the best part

the whole process is usually a 5+ people job. guests and children usually peel the corn, older ones scrape the grated cob with a spoon and the ones with high endurance and stamina grate the corn. skilled individuals make the final product in the end. the whole thing is like an assembly line and i love it. like my grandpa's job was to cut the top of the corn with a scimitar looking ass knife and then pick the good leaves. i moved up the ranks from being a peeler to a scrapper but i was a complete disappointment in folding the pamonha so my grandma never let me touch it again
