Photo courtesy of the lovely @EssaHansen of The Graven trilogy (which you should check out). Tis a blessing to be featured for AAPI month on this shelf with such brilliant and wonderful authors.
If you haven't checked out Jade City, The Broken Binding is doing special editions of the whole Green Bone Saga now! For those asking if The Doors of Midnight will have a special edition, yes. I've gotten the question a bunch now and will happily clarify any time. :) I'm excited too!

HELLO COME SEE THE PRETTY
Tumblr media
Loooooook at this beautiful, gorgeous beast of a book. It's out in August, and honestly seeing it next to the cover for book one generates incoherent joy.

There are a lot of books out there
So I use goodreads to log what I read (don't use it for anything else) and when you do that it recommends books to you. A few days ago it recommended me a book called Grave Beginnings by R.R. Virdi.
This book and this entire trilogy sounds like its definitely up my alley. It's not at my local libraries so that's a shame. It has a high rating which makes me think I would really enjoy it.
Ah well. I am sure one of these days I shall order it or something online.
I love how there are so many books out there waiting to be discovered by you.

Nine People You Want To Get To Know Better
Thanks for the tag @kunepie! I don't think there's an Ozzy fics yet, but don't worry, I've got some Ozzy ideas bouncing around, just working on some other stuff first!
Last song: What Am I Missing? by The Band CAMINO, the EP came out last week and I've already listened to it about a hundred times 🤣
Currently Reading: Grave Beginnings by R.R. Virdi, urban fantasy and a murder mystery? Yes please!
Currently Watching: How I Met Your Mother for about the twentieth time and Love Island Australia cause the new UK season just isn't interesting me this year
Current Obsession: Ozzy has been added to the list of pixels I'm simping for and I've replayed Kali on Romance Club an insane amount of times recently to unlock the different endings.
Tagging (not 9 people and I'm probably double tagging): @aislinnstanaka @bypine @thesepromises and @chroniccomicobsession

This advertisement is for The Sky on Fire, a daring new fantasy heist adventure from the acclaimed author of the Chorus of Dragons series, Jenn Lyons.
“The love letter you’ve been looking for to all the things you’ve cherished about the fantasy genre.” —R.R. Virdi, author of The First Binding
WHAT’S IT ABOUT
If you ever wished for a book that's a mash-up of Fourth Wing and Six of Crows, behold The Sky on Fire.
Steal from a dragon who already wants you dead? It's not much of a choice, but in order for Anahrod to maintain her survival, it's a risk she has to take. In a world where humans are ruled by merciless dragons, Anahrod joins a sexy dragonrider and a gang of misfits plotting to steal a dragon's hoard. They'll have to rely on each other to pull off this impossible heist or this deadly mission will be their last.

NetGalley Review: The First Binding by R.R. Virdi
Gen Con Day One is over...and a lot happened, but we're sticking with our normal schedule here on the blog, which means it is time for a book review. Come check out an incredible layered epic fantasy story that is filled with stories and action and magic!
Hey all, Sam here. Welcome to me talking about the best book I’ve read so far in 2023. Yes, that is how I am starting this post. And what’s even more exciting, I’m meeting the author today (actually, I’ll have already met the author by the time this post goes live, but whatever–time is a weird soup). So, no, that didn’t happen. Come to find out, the author cancelled. I don’t know if it’s for…
