pt. 1: age of sail muses

Flint: None, though he and Gates had a canary for a few months pre-series (hence the birdcage hanging in Flint’s cabin). He technically has a horse for riding to and from Miranda’s but like... it’s not really his pet. Silver: None, except for v: old long john (and whatever the fuck my TI verse is called) in which he has a pet parrot called Flint. He’s a bird person. Probably also has his own horse in v: old long john though, he’s very good with those. In the llamia verse I haven’t properly started with Seras yet, his familiar is a snake. Thomas: Probably had horses, hunting dogs, whatever the fuck else as a lord, but now has none.  Rackham: None - but modern!Rackham has four pet rats, one of which is a dumbo rat. They’re all girls, and one of them is called Persephone.  Madi: None, though parrot!Flint is basically also hers.

Esther: None until after Alma dies, at which point she starts feeding stray cats that come and go. Oisín: They’re not really his pets - or at least he claims they aren’t - but he’s got the hound and the runt. Morbés: None.

MAN in the series finale when rackham says like, it’s good that we didn’t make flint into a martyr and proceeds to say: “Flint had allies who would've only been emboldened by his death. Some of whom, had they the desire, could and would have fought his war without him to honor his memory” and the camera just hangs out on madi because like, she would have!!!!!!!!!!!! i will die on this hill but madi is the TRUE revolutionary on this show, she was behind flint’s cause 10000% and it’s not even in question that she would have taken flint’s side (like she literally says it) anyway like of all the great teams (platonic at least) on the show this one is still my favorite. strange pairs babey
