Rex please
favorite thing about them
He tries very hard to protect his brothers, even if it means ultimately going against orders. He's loyal and kind, and knows his worth. Also makes mistakes sometimes but learns from them. An admirable character overall.
least favorite thing about them
He gets almost nothing for all that he does for others, and it's heartbreaking to me that he's fighting a losing battle half the time. In the end he'll become another lost relic in Seelos that not many will care to remember in the years in between the rise and fall of the empire...
favorite line
"I used to believe that being a good soldier meant doing everything they told you. That's how they engineered us. But we're not droids. We're not programmed. You have to learn to make your own decisions."
brOTP
Retirement Roommates of course. AKA old man Rex, Wolffe and Gregor. They're just delightful.
OTP
Like with Fox, I feel very conflicted about shipping Rex.
nOTP
Rex/Anakin... It leaves a weird bad taste in my mouth.
random headcanon
He's a natural blond. Also lactose intolerant.
unpopular opinion
I think we should have gotten a cadet Rex series instead of the Bad Batch. I feel like the premise behind one would be 10 times more interesting than the squandered potential TBB has been.
song i associate with them

Stories That We're (Probably) Getting in Clone Wars Season 7
Siege Of Mandalore - Obviously, the trailer for the revived season features Ahsoka and Bo-Katan in a hologram message to Obi Wan and Anakin so we all know what's coming next. Of course I'm expecting this to be the finale of the 12 episode season, simply because it's the one theater of the end of the Clone Wars where Order 66 wasn't totally obeyed. I'm guessing we're gonna see the usual suspects, Anakin, Obi, Ahsoka, the Mandalorian Resistance and of course the 501st troops (including the newly minted 332nd, which I not-so-humbly submit as the new fantag separate from the 501st) but also Gregor, Wolffe and Skull Squadron because, it only makes sense that Rex's two buddies in retirement escape with him as opposed to running from their respective battlefields on their own. Also anticipating the connecting thread to Rebels, a young Caleb Dume and his mentor Depa Billaba, because we have to get the obligatory "cliffhanger" shot.
The Bad Batch - Again, obviously because the trailer features a shot from the Anaxes base and one of the Bad Batch Clones. Kinda hoping that in finishing the episodes they added stuff about what happens to those clones when the New Order rolls out. Really wondering if they end up as part of Scar Squadron.
Kyber Crystal filler - there was an unfinished episode arc dealing with following separatists trying to gather Kyber crystals and given what we know about the Death Star project as part of the Tarkin Initiative, I'd love to see Rogue One foreshadowing layered heavily into these episodes.
Boba killing Cad Bane - we know the footage exists. We know it happens. They'd be dumb not to work it in there somewhere. How it'll relate to other things, I have no clue although it would be interesting if Boba and Cad Bane both ended up on Mandalore working for Maul only to end up leaving the planet as Order 66 happens. Would explain how Boba gets the rest of his armor, since we know it's not Jango's.
Ahsoka's Underworld years - not sure how they're gonna fit this into the 12 episodes that were announced but they have to talk about what she was doing before she gets the call to lead her own battalion. Would definitely connect well to her future job as Fulcrum and her identity as someone who is good but not a Jedi.
Mortis continued - we know that there's footage of The Son talking to Revan and Darth Bane on Mortis. While it's weird that an embodiment of the dark side would submit to two Sith Lords for guidance or judgment, it creates an interesting concept, that humanizes the Ones of Mortis as people who were strong with the Force who probably got lost there and took a bargain they weren't ready for as opposed to learned students of the Force itself.
Of course all of these are conjecture and there's no real reason to finish a few of these but I'd love to see them and we know that for the most part, if it got filmed it's (probably) canon.
What do you guys think?
