Unfortunately yes🤦🏽‍♀️ All I can say is that it’s mostly “fans” cheering this on and actively wanting her to be Nettles because for some reason tan equals brown, Black people are never brown-skinned or can be described as such, therefore Nettles definitely isn’t Black even though she looks like this in canon:

The casting speculation is based on social media follows which haven’t always been the most accurate. I mean people said that Jessica Brown Findlay was going to play Alys based on the fact that she started following some of the cast(and I believe some of the crew). We saw how that turned out🤷🏽‍♀️

There are actually two Black women that I know of who are following some of the cast. Corinna Brown(left) and Karla-Simone Spence(right).

Either would be awesome if they were/are Nettles, but for some odd reason hardly anyone has pointed this out and no one is making(sh!t stirring) Reddit threads or tweeting up a storm and saying that they are Nettles🙃

Abigail Lawrie interview with David Craig for Radio Times, 23.05.2023

Good Omens season 2 star Abigail Lawrie has revealed more about her experience working on the hit Neil Gaiman drama, adding to the already feverish anticipation for the upcoming episodes.

The show features David Tennant's demonic Crowley and Michael Sheen's angelic Aziraphale, an odd couple brought together by their mutual ambition to prevent armageddon.

Based on the novel by Gaiman and the late Terry Pratchett, the series was a runaway hit, with fans demanding it continue – a campaign that Prime Video eventually conceded to.

Lawrie will make her Good Omens debut in the second season, reportedly playing a Victorian gravedigger named Elspeth, and told RadioTimes.com she "absolutely loved" the job.

"It was such a mad, amazing experience," said Lawrie. "We shot it in Scotland and I got to work with Michael Sheen and David Tennant, obviously, who were just amazing and so lovely and so funny. A lot of the stuff that I did was funny."

She continued: "And Douglas [Mackinnon], who directs it... is just the most intelligent, fascinating man and he knows that universe so well, inside out. And so it was just amazing to work with him."

The actor currently stars in Paramount Plus tropical thriller No Escape, where she plays Lana, a young woman on the run halfway across the world with her best friend, Kitty (The Outlaws' Rhianne Barreto).

Lawrie added: "And the costumes were incredible. The sets were just vast and amazing. It was really like being immersed in a completely different universe. It was really cool."

Her involvement in Good Omens season 2 was confirmed by Gaiman himself on Twitter, in a post congratulating her for winning at the BAFTA Scotland 2021 ceremony for her role in Sky's Tin Star: Liverpool.

Alongside Tennant and Sheen, Good Omens season 2 also sees the return of Jon Hamm, Maggie Service, Nina Sosanya and Liz Carr among others, whilst Peter Davison, Andi Osho and Ty Tennant are just some of the new additions.

Eleanor Tomlinson cut a stylish figure in a backless brown leather dress as she arrived at the preview of The Couple Next Door on Wednesday.

The actress, 31, who plays the main role in the thriller, oozed elegance in the stunning dress as she posed up a storm for cameras.

The auburn-haired beauty flashed her slender physique in the racy midi dress, teamed with black court heels.

Eleanor stars alongside Alfred Enoch, who rose to fame playing Wes in hit American drama How To Get Away With Murder.

The Poldark star joined actors Sam Heughan and Alfred for a sweet photo at the preview event.

The six-part psychological thriller explores the claustrophobic feel of suburbia and the troubles of giving in to romantic desires - the date is yet to be announced.

Eleanor is in a happy relationship with her husband Will Owen, who first went public with their relationship when the British actress shared a loved-up snap on social media in February last year.

She sparked rumours of an engagement last November when she was seen leaving a supermarket in London wearing a diamond ring.

In July she shared photos of their wedding ceremony at Euridge Manor, near Bath. She wore an off-the-shoulder Pronovias gown with a huge princess-style skirt and Christian Louboutin heels.

Will, who plays for Clifton Rugby Club, has previously played for Leicester Tigers, Doncaster Knights and Nottingham Rugby Club.

Elsewhere, Eleanor has been hard at work filming the hotly-anticipated third series of The Outlaws, where she's starring opposite Darren Boyd.

Eleanor, who plays posh-girl influencer and socialite Gabby on the show, truly looked the part in her stunning costumes.

Season three of The Outlaws started filming in April in Bristol, which is show creator Stephen Merchant's hometown.
