Action Force Mini-Comic No. 1 featuring Baron Ironblood, 1983. The interior art was by Ron Turner and the 6 page story concentrated on introducing Baron Ironblood, the Red Shadows and Space Force (although all the Action Force teams get a mention). I don't know who provided the cover art, possibly Geoff Campion.
I understand that Ironblood and the Red Shadows were originally conceived as being similar to pirates and this is where the skull and crossbones logo came from. Treasury of British Comics.

Talk about being inseparable.
Both Nixon (Band of Brothers ep 10) and Bucky (Masters of the Air ep 7) asked Winters and Buck to come with them after the war. It's a bond that will never be broken. A life-time partner.
