Shit shit shit shit shit I had a thought regarding Bendy and the Dark Revival. It's kind of a stretch and I'm sure someone else has probably already thought of this, but just in case know there are major major spoilers ahead, especially pertaining to chapter 4, its character reveals, and the ending of the game.
I apologize in advanced if this seems a little disconnected.
OK, so I'm sitting here watching SuperHorrorBro play BatDR when he gets to the part where Audrey runs into Henry. He mentioned that playing the End reel would start the cycle over again, as we all know it does, but I felt his wording is peculiar:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Everything begins again. Completely new."
Obviously we know from checking out Joey's house at the end of BatIM that Joey had drafted up several scenarios we don't necessarily ever actually see. It's possible that these scenarios are each seperate events within different loops, meaning we get such beautiful things as the Butcher Gang having fun at Bendyland and even Sammy and Bendy going fishing, most likely on the docks of the Lost Harbor. However, we don't actually get these different scenarios, either because of the limitations of the game or because Joey hasn't been able to fully implement it into the world of the Ink Machine.
Why is this important, well, there's a specific part of these drafts that fans have long speculated about, mostly in regards to whether or not it's an alternate ending that can be triggered.
Tumblr media
This is one of the most interesting pieces from the draft, because it presents a scenario where Bendy is able to break free of the cycle ending, or at least ends it for Henry or manages to keep the cycle they're in from ending. It also makes sense if we consider what was said earlier about Joey's drafts being different loops too. I think this was something a lot of us wanted, but we haven't gotten it. At least, we didn't until Bendy and the Dark Revival.
I've seen full walkthroughs of the game. I know how the game ends, and as a result, it's very interesting to me that this is the one of those scenarios that makes a return.
The loop Audrey is caught in is certainly different, and that can be attributed to Wilson's interference to the world of the Ink Machine, but it does still run concurrent to Henry's story. For example, Wilson's Keepers are able to capture both Henry and Sammy during their chapter 5 altercation in the Lost Harbor, which is how we end up meeting Henry in BatDR to begin with.
Something I want to point out about Audrey real quick, if you're into spoilers or at least have knowledge of what happens in the game: she's a creation of Joey's through the Ink Machine, half flesh and half ink. When the ending comes and the final boss is defeated, the Ink Demon takes her and together they form a creature who looks very similar to Beast Bendy, but especially to the form we see in Joey's drafts:
Tumblr media
My thought process here is that... in the end, we did get a "Bendy wins" scenario, just not quite in the way we expected back in 2018. It's been right under our noses since chapter 5 came out.
Audrey takes the reel, holds it in the monstrous hand of her and Bendy's combined ink form, and plays it on a projector.
Tumblr media
Technically speaking, Bendy, though combined with Audrey, does indeed win.
They win against Wilson, and against the darker aspects of Bendy himself, who, if the last thing we see before the credits roll is any indication, may now be able to lead as normal a life as an ink creation can.
The cycle will start again, as it always does, and completely anew as Henry had said. This time, however, perhaps Bendy winning isn't the bad ending we thought it was four years ago.
(IDK man, perhaps I'm reading too far into it.)
tl;dr we probably got the Bendy wins scenario but not how we expected or wanted and it probably was never a bad ending to begin with

Catching a Prophet
Well, thank you everyone who’s contributed to the sudden influx of Sammy art flooding my feed. You’ve infected me. I’m still a few chapters away from being able to include him in my fic, “Born from the Same Ink,” so I decided to write this little thing for his birthday (even though I’m late). It’s inspired by @reanimationstation ‘s post batdr-au (particularly this post) and an adorable sketch my sister @tiredtrashpanda made of Sammy and toon Bendy fishing together based on the drawing in Joey’s apartment (BATIM). I would link her pic here but she never posted it.
Enjoy!
Sammy Lawrence had been sitting at the edge of a rickety pier with a fishing rod in his hands for over an hour and what did he have to show for his efforts? Exactly nothing. The same result he gained from years of piety and devotion dedicated to his Lord.
He wasn’t sure what prompted him to take up one of the rods lying on the deserted pier (abandoned and alone, just like him). Now that the Ink Demon had chosen to take on such a weak and pitiful form, the self-proclaimed prophet had simply been searching for a proper place to reflect on his miserable life.
The edge of an endlessly deep pool of black water seemed to be the perfect location. However, his dark contemplation was interrupted when he noticed the first unused pole at his feet. After picking it up, he was surprised to discover it was a true fishing rod, complete with a proper reel, fishing line and hook.
Rather than casting himself into the inky abyss like he was previously considering, he decided instead to cast the hook to see if he would catch anything. Like everything he did to please his Lord, it was in vain.
Frustrated and enraged, the musician was about to throw the useless thing into the water when he heard shoes clacking down the pier.
Assuming the footsteps belonged to Henry or Allison, he kept the rod, planning on using it as an excuse to avoid whatever it was they were about to ask him to do. Was it too much to ask for his former coworkers to allow him to sulk in peace?
When the reason for his brooding came into view, he was unpleasantly surprised.
Pie-cut eyes and a formerly glorious grin smiled at him as their owner watched him expectantly.
Unwilling to dignify the fraud with a reaction, Sammy silently turned to stare at the spot where his fishing line disappeared into the inky waters, doing his best to appear completely occupied with his current activity. Usually, if he ignored the creature, it would leave of its own volition.
There was a thump to his left. Out of the side of his mask, he saw Bendy sitting beside him, swinging his feet cheerfully off the edge of the pier in a very undignified manner.
Sammy held in a groan. He was not in the mood for this.
It was odd sitting so close to the former object of his worship. Just a few days ago he would have rejoiced and reveled in this blessed opportunity. Now it was nothing but an uncomfortable reminder of his Lord’s fall and the hopelessness of his situation.
Mimicking the man at his side, the little devil picked up a fishing rod and held it over the water.
It should have been a simple matter to continue ignoring the other being fishing at his side. Except, Sammy swiftly noticed that Bendy was doing it wrong. Not only was he holding the tool upside down, but the hook wasn’t even in the water!
“That’s not how you hold it,” the musician said disdainfully, setting his useless pole to the side and instinctively reaching over to correct him.
Without any fuss other than a curious tilt of the head, the cartoon imp allowed the man to take the rod from his hands and teach him how to use it properly.
Pointing out the different parts of the object, he explained their purposes, demonstrating how to properly grip it and how to release or reel in the fishing line.
“Take care while baiting your hook,” he cautioned, pointing out the jagged object at the end of the line. “While innocent in appearance, its devious design allows it to easily embed itself in your flesh. There it will remain until it is forcefully removed, which is often more painful and damaging than the initial wound.”
Not that he cared, Sammy reminded himself. Maybe a little pain would be good for his Lord. It would be nothing compared to the pain he experienced every day he was forced to live in this accursed prison he called a body.
When the toon glanced around for something to bait his line with, the musician sighed and pulled out a can of bacon soup from his suspender pocket.
A few minutes of coaching later, Bendy made a near-perfect cast with a chunk of bacon on his hook. The bacon and hook disappeared into the water with a soft plop.
“Well done, my Lord!” he praised with a shocking amount of sincerity.
The little devil beamed at him, eyes glittering with excitement. For a brief moment, Sammy forgot the resentment he held towards the other being.
Snapping back to reality, the man distracted himself by reeling in his own rod, deciding to add some bait to his own hook. He wasn’t sure why he hadn’t thought of doing so until now. Of course he wasn’t catching anything. Maybe the simple event of being in his Lord’s presence had triggered a flash of inspiration!
When Bendy once again went to copy his actions, Sammy stopped him.
“It’s too soon to pull in the line,” the prophet explained. “Similar to how my Lord stalks his prey, this activity requires patience. You must wait until a lamb-er, a fish is attached to the line before reeling it in. You’ll know the doomed creature has fallen into your trap when-”
Bendy’s pole began to bend, flicking up and down while the toon watched in confused wonder.
“-when that happens!”
Immediately, Bendy began reeling in his catch as his companion cheered him on.
Eventually, a small, striped yellow fish burst from the ink, wriggling and fighting desperately against the fishing rod that held it captive. The muscles of its small body were no match for the hook pierced through its lip.
When the imp eagerly reached out to grab the fish, Sammy blocked the action with an arm.
“Careful, you could impale yourself on the hook. Allow me.”
Nimble fingers skillfully detached the critter from the line. He examined it closely, curious about a fish that could survive in this environment. Upon remembering a conversation he overheard between Audrey and Wilson’s ex-housekeeper, he divined the fish’s species.
“I believe this is a ‘yellow perch,’” Sammy explained, offering it to Bendy.
The toon excitedly snatched the poor thing from his grip. Clinging to his prize with both hands, he fixed it with an awestruck expression unbefitting the ruler of this realm.
Unamused, the musician wiped the fish slime on his trousers, returning his attention to his own rod.
“Now, it’s up to you to decide its fate,” Sammy explained with a disinterested wave. “You can eat it, if that is your desire. We can take it back to the kitchens and cook it there. It is rather small, so I’m not sure it would be worth it. If you are feeling merciful, you can release-”
Crunch
The unexpected sound prompted Sammy to glance at Bendy just in time to witness him swallowing whatever was in his mouth. The fish was nowhere to be seen.
The toon blinked at him with an innocent grin, then pointed at the bacon soup can by his side.
Wordless, Sammy handed over the item and watched as the little demon dug out another piece of bacon to attach to his line.
Perhaps his Lord was still in there somewhere.
*Bonus scene I’m too tired to write out properly.
They keep fishing. Bendy eats every fish he catches and Sammy either throws his catches back or gives them to the lil’ demon.
Eventually, the former musician starts whistling some tune he wrote/made-up. After a few seconds, a bunch of gilson fish float to the top of the lake/pool they’re at (probably the harbor from the first game).
They both freeze in shock. Since Sammy stopped whistling, the gilson quickly recover and swim back underwater.
Bendy loses his shit. He starts jumping up and down, then grabs Sammy by the strap of his overalls, pulls him to his level and frantically gestures at the water.
Sammy gets the hint and starts whistling again.
Sure enough, the gilson return and Bendy runs off to find something to pull in all those new tasty treats. Poor Sammy is stuck whistling until he comes back.
**Bonus bonus scene, Audrey and Henry yelling at Sammy for unintentionally drugging the little guy after he ate about 10-20 gilson (I imagine it would take a lot to knock out the Ink Demon, even in his toon form).
Thank you so much for reading! This was my first time writing Sammy, so please let me know how I did! I would love to hear your feedback, especially since his arc is coming up soon in my main fic.

A Bendy one-shot written here on tumblr by me? In the year 2022?
It’s more likely than you think!
So, now that BATDR is out and my friends have finally seen it/played it, I can finally sit down and write up this one-shot I’ve had in mind! I’ll probably even have more in the future, if I bother to sit down and think on things more.
Warning: contains spoilers for the actual story of BATDR, au post-ending, this is a comfort fic, no serious angst, headcanons
On with the fic!
--
The room with the piano and the fish tank was Henry’s favorite place to draw.
Often, he was left alone, but sometimes Audrey or Allison would come and spend time with him, and Bendy, when not around his friend, would sit himself down and play while Henry worked. More often than not, Boris would nap in this room too, but people usually left him alone when he wanted the privacy.
From what he was told, it was about three months since the new cycle started and things were, for the most part, better for the studio. Depending on who you asked.
Many of those who lived in the studio accepted that the Ink Demon was ‘gone’, none of them knowing where he had gone to except for those small few who knew the true nature of Bendy. With the Ink Demon out of sight, many of the Lost Ones decided to try and rebuild their little societies in the studio, though many branched off into little factions, like before.
Many still believed the demon to be lurking, and sided with him, not with Audrey, not with the new writer of the story. Sammy seemed to be in a sort of limbo, he was... better, but would often go back to the music department somewhere in the studio and spend his time there with Jack. Though sometimes he would show up unannounced to the manor and just go find Bendy.
From what Audrey said, Sammy would just sit there with a banjo and music sheets, working, while Bendy would watch him with curiosity. Then he’d just leave, never saying much except a thanks and a good bye.
Alice... well, Henry hadn’t seen much of her since the cycle restarted, but he thinks he hears her singing from somewhere much deeper in the manor. He avoids the original library at all costs, Audrey says it’s for the best.
Allison and Tom come and go, they live in the manor with the cyclebreakers who decided to occupy it, but often they’re out helping where they can and taking down those who want to cause trouble. And to fight any of the Butcher Gang members and Searchers that are still out there, trying to kill anything that moves, be them Lost Ones or cyclebreakers.
The Projectionist, now in one piece, went off to wander the inky halls, sometimes Henry saw him walk through the city streets, his light illuminating the road, a bag in his hand, dragging on the ground. Henry had learned quickly to not question the contents, he had a pretty good idea.
Then there was himself, Bendy, and Audrey.
Henry had nowhere to go, he wasn’t really a set character in a location, he was a wanderer, he was a character but not one meant to only occupy select places in the story. With the expansion of the studio, the story, Henry was given freedom.
To a point.
He wasn’t the real Henry Stein, but he was real enough to be his own person, and Audrey told him so, believing that he still served a purpose. He was, in a sense, a writer like her, someone to weave the story. He could help her protect their friends, the people of the studio, from the machine. From any other people who wanted to twist the world even more.
Henry found he could help with his art, he was helping with repairs, with providing things for those who wanted the help. And he did it from Wilson’s old home in the studio, which the cyclebreakers took over. Betty seemed to accept this, though they had to wonder if she knew the truth of her creator.
Henry hadn’t seen what became of Wilson, but from what Audrey said, it was better that he hadn’t. Especially since they weren’t sure if he was truly dead, did anything ever stay dead in the studio?
Audrey lived in the manor with the others, though she came and went from the studio to the real world. She had a life there, but she always returned here. Sometimes Bendy followed her to reality, but often he stayed behind, spending his days acting like the Li’l Devil Darlin’ that Henry designed so long ago.
He was curious and cute, much different from the demonic being that haunted Henry’s dreams even now. It was amazing they were the same being.
Pausing in his sketching, Henry looked over at Bendy, who was sitting on the floor of the piano room. He had toys from Heavenly Toys with him, a train and a few plush toys. He was making the train drive around the plush of himself before sending it sailing across the floor, where it hit the leg of the piano. Bendy clapped, happy with his little game, before he paused, going still.
Henry knew what this meant, it was Bendy listening to any little noise he could pick up. Like his other self, the demon had extremely excellent hearing, always seeming to be aware of someone’s arrival before anyone else. A wide, toothy grin came to Bendy’s face as he got to his feet, turning to Henry. He lifted his left hand and moved it in a spiral-like motion.
“Oh, is Audrey back?” Henry asked and Bendy nodded, holding out his hand for Henry to take.
Bendy didn’t seem to speak in this form, even though he could talk. Henry and Audrey wondered if it was because of his powers being restricted in this form, or if he just chose to be quiet due to what happened to him when he was in the hold of the Keepers (who seemed to be in hiding, somewhere, hopefully much deeper in the studio).
Still, he had his ways of communicating. He whistled a lot, which helped, and made little noises like hums and squeaks. But now he was learning to do hand gestures and signs to speak. Audrey’s was meant to be like the spiral on her hand, Henry would be a drawing motion. Boris and Tom both shared Bendy pretending to make ears out of his index fingers, but he bent one for Tom.
Allison got Bendy making a halo over his head with his fingers, but Alice was Bendy covering half his face with his hand. Sammy was just covering his whole face and making a very sharp whistle. Betty was Bendy holding his hands in front of his chest, he was still learning to do others, but people got the gist of who he was speaking to, about.
They walked out of the room together, just as Betty was approaching. “Oh!” She stopped. “I guess Bendy heard Audrey’s arrival?”
“Seems so.” Henry smiled and was pulled along still, the now-trio making their way to the manor’s kitchen, where they found Audrey. She had shopping bags with her, from the real world, meaning that tonight’s meal wasn’t going to be made from whatever was found here in the city.
Which was great, because Henry really didn’t want to eat meat from the city, especially after learning of... well...
“Hey, you two!” Audrey smiled, golden eyes glowing brightly. “Guess what we’re having tonight.”
Bendy looked even more excited as he ran over to his friend. He cupped one hand and then used the other to pretend to mix something in an imaginary bowl. Henry wanted to roll his eyes, that was the first thing Bendy showed them that he was referring to something.
Bacon soup, of course.
Audrey smiled at Bendy before turning to Henry, her smile looking a little more apologetic. “Sorry, Henry, but he’s been asking. And besides, I brought fresh things with me, none of that canned sludge!”
“Well, anything is better than that.” Henry replied as he approached, lifting Bendy up to set him on the counter while Betty moved to get a pot and a frying pan out. “Do you want to help us, bud?” He turned to the demon, who happily nodded.
“Great, you can help me with cutting up the bacon then, Audrey can do the veggies.” Henry smiled and moved to get a cutting board.
It was different, finding himself in a new loop but without the horrors, without the threats on his life. No cultish musicians or deranged angels, no monster wolves and demonic beasts, no words from an old friend that forced him to go through Hell over and over.
It was surreal and hard to get used to after so long, but Henry could get used to this, if it meant he could rest, he could be happy.
--
In case you’re wondering why I mentioned Boris, he can be found in the game, but he’s basically a blink-and-you-miss-’em Easter egg. I’d like to think he wants to just stay outta sight, outta mind, since Henry isn’t with him.
But anyway, I mainly wrote this for my friends, because we just want good things for Henry, okay?

FINALLY Samsie dynamic i can adore genuinely (I'm so positive and there's nothing wrong with other portrayals)
I'm so tired from macho Sammy and weak Susie agenda (cis het normativity)
Or using Sammy as a plot to "fix her"
!! Idk they sometimes loose so much personality from something like i described above
Awesome art. Eating well
frrr like no hate to anyone who does that, you do you, it is simply not my cup of tea!!
and i'm glad you like the art! :]c
ramble about my views on ink samsie under the cut
i love the unequal power dynamic that malice brings to the table. she's fully in control of her own bit of the studio and honestly having a "prophet" to run around and do the dirty work is very appealing to her. i think she'd definitely start out feeding into his insecurities and his very recent betrayal to get him to join her side and do stuff for her, but over time she'd accidentally develop a few real feelings for him. a few feelings that she would REALLY rather squash but they keep on cropping up. they were NOT a part of the plan she hates it (she doesnt actually)
meanwhile sam is over there a jumbled wreck of feelings after having been betrayed by the ink demon. the opportunity to throw himself headfirst into worshipping arguably the next most powerful/influential being in the studio is something he'd jump at. it works both as a distraction and because thats how he's always operated to keep himself safe. like those fish who hang around sharks. the line between worship and love become blurred the longer he works for Malice. especially because i think she'd be the type to be very touchy? like possessive. this is her prophet and she's gonna make sure everyone knows it. and sams touch starved ass is gonna eat that shit up, despite their previous rivalry. im ignoring her thing about not wanting to touch ink creatures <3 i think she will make an exception. and they can both bond over their struggles with their appearance
etc etc they dance around each other for a while until they settle into a mostly comfortable relationship. its not perfect or particularly healthy but its the best they've got here in the studio. they are making each other worse <3

Welcome Home Dear Sammy
Tumblr media
"90 years huh? Well, ain't nothing like present, let's see what I missed!"
Tumblr media
Bio:
Sammy Dagon, The first, and most recent Housewarden of Ramshackle is an unusual boy in more ways than one. Not only is he a boy ripped out of time, but he is a boy of living blot. Once fallen to his phantom, but through trial and tribulation, the heir to bald mountain left a blotted abyss, and awakened to a world not like his own. But despite it all, Sammy has decides to take it in stride, with a smile on his face, and mischief in his eyes, Sammy will meet this new era with all he is, blot and all!
Student Info:
Name: Sammy(Samuel) Dagon
Alias: Prince of Demons(Malleus), ink-fish(Floyd), roi des ténèbres(Rook)
Birthday: November 13th(Scorpio)
Age: 108 (chronologically) 18(Appearance)
Hobbies: Dancing, and practicing music
Race: (Formely: Demon) Currently: Demon blot hybrid
Height: 5'5"(165cm)
Hair color: Inky black
Eye color: Inky black
Grade/Class: Freshman(First Year) Class-B
Dominant hand: Left
Homeland: Bald Mountain, home of demons
Club: Light Music Club
Best Subject: Summoning
Personal information:
Dislikes: "Debby downers"
Favorite Food: Tomatoes
Least favorite food: anything slimy
Talents: Painting
Appearance:
Sammy is a young looking boy with warm brown skin and flowing tendrils of blotted black hair that drape over his face. He is usually seen sporting a bright energetic smile on his face. But due to his blotted nature, his body and face is always in flux. Looking more like an animated character at times than a person. Limbs popping out in surprise, his eyes literally doubling in size, an inky question mark popping above his head when in thought, etc etc.
Tumblr media
But usually no matter which outfit he'll be in, the only constant for him are his two white gloves which he uses to cover the blot on his hands.
Though if you were look at Sammy without a shirt, you'd see the closest thing he can call a heart nowadays. Simply being the ink container his phantom had sits in his chest. Pumping his body with blot as he goes on with his life. But only serving as a reminder he isn't truly alive anymore.
Tumblr media
Personality:
Sammy is an energetic and easy going young man who often sees the bright side of things as he bounces and skips through life. Not seeming to let much of anything bring him down as he goes about his day. Loving to help people at any moment, and often a lover of small pranks and little teases, he is usually a joy to be around. A charming little devil pretty much.
But when necessary, if things do require a serious hand, Sammy is more than able to fulfil that role. To make sure no mistake like his own occurs again in this era, Sammy when necessary is calm and to the point. Hearing all sides and putting his foot down when necessary, his presence becomes as commanding as his ancestor. Instructing people like the chernabog did the demons of bald mountain.
But if there is one thing you don't want to see Sammy become, it's angry. A furious Sammy will make everyone feel as if they are starting face to face with the devil itself as he will do his best to make you feel like you are going through hell as his demonic side begins to ebb free. Frightening all to their very soul.
Background:
Sammy was one of the first alumni to enter NRC during its early days. He was a bright young man who later became the housewarden of Ramshackle. Being it's leader for three years as he approached his 4th year. But for reasons even he can't remember, one day something had happened. His emotions were out of his control, blot was forming in his gem more and more until finally, he became the first overblot in NRC's history. And with it, lead to the shut down of Ramshackle, and with it, the haunting if the old dorm by its former members. Although now he's returned to his right self, him and his dorm all sport the scars of his past .
Trivia:
He was a demon actually, a descendant of chernabog and his hidden mistress. Although, some do theorize perhaps the ruler of bald mountain, and the thorn witch had a closer relationship than originally thought
His body functions like a rubberhose cartoon
He and Lilia often talk about the good old days from time to time during club meetings
His favorite instruments are brass band instruments
He often paints the groovy art on the canvas in his room, loving to capture a memory by hand and usually has them hanging around the dorm
He often asks(pesters) Crowley to give ramshackle it's own mirror dimension, after all, a nice change of scenery could be good for him and the ghosts from old memories
When angry the "ears" on his head sharpen to horns as his mind gets into a darker headspace. Wanting to punish whoever was the cause of it.
He loves to dance and when he's really in a grooving mood, he'll drag any and everyone into a dance while talking like nothing unusual is happening
He is still a boomer to new tech, but never complains about it, instead he just learns about the modern day with a childlike wonder and curiosity
His memories are pretty spotty. He can remember most of his past life, but the closer his memories get to his overblot, everything starts to fade away
Adding onto this, he cant remember the original name of the dorm and who was the mascot of it. Though if there is a thing he can place a finger on, it relates to bald mountain in some way. Maybe his ancestor served as inspiration.
And lastly, he and ghosts often drag Grim into games with them as they reminisce about the old days. Happy they can at least still spend time together in the modern day. Glad that even 90+ years later they're still dorm mates

There's something I remember and that's been bothering me for years and ever since Batdr came out [Spoilers and injuries]
So the story/ending for Bendy and the Dark Revival reminds me a bit of a old now deleted Batim fanfic [I loved it a lot], it was called "Heir to the Throne" by fish..something. You read as yourself and you were looking for your uncle..dad? which was Sammy, you go there and look around leaving the machine alone and soon in Sammy's area (I think) you meet with Henry after ..something I think you got mad at him for turning the machine on actually. Soon later you die due to injuries in front of Henry but you come back through the Bendy statue and Henry is very confused. Something happens more and you somehow find Sammy who..I think barely remembers you or something [god my remember is lacking here] but soon the ink demon attacks
I have that part a small bit:
"The beastly Bendy stepped toward you, raising its clawed hand to land a final blow and send you to the afterlife. With a sudden surge of adrenaline, you gripped you wrench and swung hard at the monster's ankles, landing a heavy blow. Bendy let out another blood-curdling screech, before stumbling back and disappearing into a dark void in the wall. The ink that covered the area faded away, and the adrenaline that coursed through your veins melted away with it. You breathed heavily as you kept your injured eye covered with your hand, and turned to look at Sammy with your good eye. He was on his knees, looking at you with his masked face. Both of you kept quiet, staring at each other in silence until Sammy finally spoke. Soon, the pain faded and your hearing slowly returned. You panted heavily as you looked up at Henry blearily, who was crouched in front of you and staring down at you with concern. "Are you okay?" He asked firmly, staring at you intently before turning his attention to your injured eye. The hand covering your left eye felt extremely wet, as if you had submerged it into one of the many ink puddles in the studio. Henry took your wrist gently, and slowly pulled your hand away. You whimpered slightly at the feeling - the liquid was gooey and stuck to your face and palm like glue. Once your hand was lowered, Henry brought his other hand up and wiped away some of the liquid on your face. His brows furrowed as he spoke."
Which Sammy says to you that you were marked by the ink demon. This made it so the ink demon could see through your eye I think because you soon covered it up.
Way much later in the story from what I remember you get attacked by Alice who shoves the weird needle in your eye and you were basically freezing to death, Sammy tries protecting you but you both I think die (at least Sammy does) and the ink demon is all angy about how he's protecting you because he wanted to use you to make his perfect form so he merged you and Sammy together which..caused a lot of problems. Side note for remembering--> Before that you became friends with Norman due to Sammy I think? but after Alice hurting you and due to your injuries he yeets you on the weird thingy that goes across the big abyss gap.
Here's what I do have saved for that part though (now angy because I don't anymore and it was my favorite :'D. But basically you stand in the lost ones village?..chapter 4- You being combined had issues and Sammy got very pissed at everyone about how they were a monster and don't trust the others.
Soon later you are letting the others like Allison, Tom and Henry down the rope..then a little later ..maybe before? because I know during it You hear the hiss of the ink demon and Sammy takes over in control saying that "my lord, he calls for me" and your character tries fighting it but it doesn't work then.. Bendy soon appears and everyone is telling him to go away or something while he's trying to lure you to him which I think works...and I think that's how that went because everyone starts racing down and telling Henry what the fuck happened while racing they get to a hallway with the glass window where they see you following behind the ink demon wearing the Sammy mask and holding an axe which made them hurry a lot more
[this part might be terribly ordered] soon going onto the battle of chapter 5 The ink demon takes you and merges you with him while Henry steps into the room after seeing a crying Sammy saying that he's a horrible parent, he finds Bendy in the perfect form being his toon form, Henry calls out to you trying to get your to come through which works..causing you two to split, Bendy now turning monstruous and you a puddle of ink with barely a form, you had no legs and I think arm. Soon the reel was played and you set everyone free..then it my memory cuts to you waking up from a nightmare about the ink demon and what happened, Sammy walks in all normal and comforts you...well more of jokes about your eye being injured because you uh hurt it with a razor and stuff due to PTSD. The end. there was also a funny note which was Norman: This bitch injuried, YEET!"
And that's the Fanfic that I remember and miss a bit because a lot of it gave me really good RP ideas and story stuff, the Fanfic was originally on Archive of our own/AO3. I have now let my thoughts to rest...hopefully, it's probably still going to torture me though. Welp, I'm probably gonna go to bed if you read it..god fucking hell thanks yet my rambling make no sense because I can't explain things for shit.

The Ink Demonth 2021 - Day 3. Reel
I'm back from my vacation and I am ready to take on the subject of vacation of Bendy's Family!
Tumblr media
There is nothing like fishing in the crack of dawn. Everyone should experience it - preferably with their parents. I still remember my first fishing with my dad - I was maybe five or six years old and I was terribly bored, but there was something... wonderful and magical about it all. From our demonic family, Bendy loves fishing - 'cause I love making references to the details of the game. As for Sammy... well, I think he thinks the best at fishing is being able to chop off fish head, but I could be wrong. As you can see, of the boys, only Henry Jr is fairly interested in this activity - what are the other two up to? You will find out soon :] Now let's take a look at the map.
Tumblr media
As you can see, this event takes place after a wonderful hitchhiking journey, but long before the boat trip. The heroes are somewhere in Michigan. Why there? 'Cause I just have an incomprehensible (considering that I have never been to the USA) sympathy for this particular state. And, well, there are great lakes. I like lakes. And water as such. I prefer the sea, but the lakes are also really cool. I enjoyed making this illustration very much. It had a lot of layers, 1/3 of which were background layers. Funny thing, 'cause the background isn't too complicated, lol. Entry to the Ink Demonth 2021 - Day 3. Reel.

If it bites, curses, claws, and hisses, It’s very unwise to ask it for wishes.
Hey @r-rowancore remember that uwu fic I threw out but said I would rewrite? It may be a lot different than how I originally had it, but here it is:
There was only so much that Inkwell could do to help. Likewise, there was only so much that he wanted to do to help.
When Thomas went to him asking for his humanity back, the demon declined, stating that it was impossible for him to turn a being of ink into a being of flesh again. When he went to him asking if he could look human again, the demon again declined, stating that he didn’t have access to any pictures of how the mechanic had looked before his death, nor could he find his body, thus, he had no proper reference and could end up making him something that he was not.
And he gave a similar excuse when Tom asked for his voice back.
It smelled of bullshit if you asked him, with the demon’s exaggerated body language, annoying amount buffer words, refusal to look the wolf man in the eye while he spoke, he knew that he was lying through those daggers that he called his teeth.
He could make them human again, or at least make them look human enough again, Henry Stein was living proof of that. The Ink Demon just insisted on redrawing them as cartoons because misery loves company.
Instead of doing something like making him feel comfortable in his ink skin, the demon simply ‘updated’ his character sheet. He looked more like a wolf than a dog now, he was bigger in both size and stature, and his fur was starting to gray, especially around the muzzle.
Don’t get him wrong, he liked not having to look at Boris every time he looked in a mirror, but he hated everything about this and honestly, it was only a matter of time before he’d grow desperate enough to try to do something that even he thought was completely stupid:
Summoning a demon, a different demon from the ones he knew, one who would hopefully, help him out.
Thomas gathered the correct items for the ritual; four candles, one mask, some thick ink, and a place to call ...it. He didn’t know what would come from out of this, but if Buddy and Boris of all people could summon this thing enough times to dedicate a bathroom to doing it, then whoever or whatever he was going to call must’ve been safe enough for him to summon.
He had everything set up just the way he saw the alter in Buddy’s safe house bathroom; lit the candles, placed down the mask, and waited.
...
...This couldn’t be it, could it?
It couldn’t just be some weird decoration in a closed-off bathroom, like it or not, magic was real and so were demons! Something was supposed to happen! Did he screw it up? Lit the candles in the wrong order? Did he not do it at the right time? What was it?!
Oh right, he wasn’t in the studio anymore.
He wasn’t in a “whimsical” cartoon world made entirely by the machine and its ink, the ritual dedicated to whatever Buddy summoned might’ve worked back in the studio, but just like how a normal human being couldn’t take down a living park ride with soup cans, the alter where it was had been just as effective as spraying silly string in the shape of a star on the ground.
The cursed wolf let out an annoyed huff and started to slunk out of the basement, he would be cussing up a storm if he could, but he didn’t have a voice.
CRASH!
As he was halfway up the stairs, he heard a loud noise coming from the failed ritual. He turned around and saw something large flailing on the floor.
He cautiously descended back down and realized that he had indeed fucked up; the entity he had summoned had a humanoid upper half, the lower half of a fish, and more importantly was struggling to breathe.
Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!
The cursed mechanic tried to carry the deep sea demon bridal style as the slippery creature flailed harder and started to claw at him and bite him. No wonder the alter was set up in the bathroom, this thing needed water!
“Gad fi fynd!” Between futile gasps for breath, the creature shouted at him in a voice that he could swear was like someone taking a bunch of instruments and trying to use them to mimic human speech. “Dydw i ddim yn mynd i fod yn rhan o'ch cynlluniau, llaw dde Joey Drew!”
Tom didn’t understand a word out of the creature’s mouth aside from the name he said, nor did he think of that at this time. Desperate to keep the angry sea demon alive, when it has struggled free from his grasp, Tom seized the being by his tail and started dragging him up the stairs that way. He considered pulling him up by the hair at first but that only made his mouth closer to his hands.
The merman continued to thrash against his captor, now hissing at him like a snake and barring a mouth full of long, sharp teeth that the creature had too many of for comfort, especially now that they were stained with Tom’s ink.
But the wolf wasn’t impressed by the demon’s attempt at intimidation, he could hiss and claw all he wanted but he was not dealing with Inkwell’s refusal to help him, or having to explain to Henry why there was a dead demonic fish on the floor!
After the longest one and a half minutes of both of their lives, the fish demon was unceremoniously dumped into the bathtub, and the water was turned on. In spite of the awkward positioning, the demon squeezed himself into the end of the tub with the facet, it was an uncomfortable position, but the running water over his gills relaxed him a bit.
Both parties let out a sigh of relief as the demon waited for the tub to fill up and Tom went back into the basement to fetch a notepad, a pencil, and an english-to-welsh dictionary.
---
The latter of the three items became the hardest one to find, and by the time he did and got back to his ‘guest’ the sea demon looked like he was both anxious and bored out of his mind, his long hair pooling in the tub like a cloud and his claws still tapping away on the side of the bathtub. He was not happy to see him again per se, but at least he didn’t look like he was going to bite him again.
Helo. Tom flipped through the dictionary, found the words he was looking for, wrote them down and showed the creature. Allwch chi ddeall hyn?
The demon rolled his eyes and spoke in that voice made of instruments again, not sounding like a human being in the slightest, but it was easy for him to make out the creature’s words, almost like he listening to a song with the lyrics replaced by another instrument. Tom could already see Wally making a joke about ‘how he heard of people with musical accents before, but this one takes the cake!’.
“I can understand and speak English fluently, Thomas Conner.” He stated coldly. “There’s no need to patronize me or waste both of our time with that book.”
How do you know my name? He wrote down, And how did you know Joey?
The sea demon paused for a bit, seeming as if he was trying to predict the wolf’s reaction to his answer before saying it out loud.
“The two of you are very... infamous down there...” He folded his arms behind his back and tried to keep his expression as neutral as possible. “For more reasons than you think.”
Why did Buddy summon you?
The demon frowned at the question. “Who’s ‘Buddy’?” He then shook his head. “It doesn’t matter, the reasons why my former summoners have called me are not to be freely discussed with other people. And before you ask how he knew to summon me, he learned from his own story.”
Tom tore out the question he had and wrote a new one:
What is your name?
“Forgive me, but I am not interested in any more small talk, and I doubt you summoned me just for the sake of friendly conversation. You called me here to help you with something, haven’t you?”
Tom huffed and reluctantly nodded. Yes; Can you make me human again?
“Can I remake you from ink and magic into a being of flesh and bone?” He tapped on his fangs and smiled in a way that made the mechanic wolf’s hackles rise. “Eventually, but yes.”
His ears perked up instantly, hastily, he started scribbling down his (hopefully) final question.
Well, what are you waiting for?!
“Materials, tools, and payment.” The demon shifted in the tub to make himself more comfortable, folding his arms behind his head as if he was reclining in a hammock, his hair fanning out behind him. “As you can see, I’m not exactly in the position to fetch the former two, and you should know that nothing comes without the latter.”
What do you need?
“Just your standard sculpting tools, some time to work on the thing, your cooperation as working with living canvases other than myself can be difficult, and...” The sea demon’s chilling toothy smile resurfaced. “...Meat.”
Tom hesitated, it took him a while to get the single word onto paper.
Meat?
“Not just any meat. Raw meat, meat that’s so freshly killed that the blood’s still warm. The amount can be debated if you were unsatisfied with your human body’s height and or its weight.” He waved off before smiling again. “And unless you want to become a sentient beast, it had better be human meat. You know the old saying, right? ‘You are what you eat’? Well, it can be rather literal.”
He looked like he was biting back laughter at Tom’s horrified expression.
“Don’t give me that look, fy pup blaidd, your hands are already stained with the blood of others, it makes no difference to the eyes of heaven and hell if you start staining your teeth as well.”
NO!
“No?” The mechanic was almost infuriated by how genuinely confused the demon sounded, as if he was surprised that he’d be disgusted by suggesting cannibalism, but luckily for him, he merely shrugged off Tom’s refusal. “Suit yourself then.”
He was just about to leave the bathroom before the siren spoke again.
“But it would be such a shame if there wasn’t anything at all I could help you out with, I hate it when my time is wasted. Tell me, would you like to speak again?”
He froze there, and looked back with an eyebrow raised.
“I see that got your attention.” The merman smugly remarked. “And as it’s a much smaller job than say, completely rebuilding you as a different being altogether, it will not only be a faster job but also cost you a lot less. Why, I won’t even need any materials or tools other than your cooperation!”
I’m interested...
“Good! Now, all you need to do is come closer.”
He approached the bathtub.
“Closer... Yes, just kneel down so we’re directly face to face...” The siren crooned while looking as welcoming as an empty grave. “...This will only hurt like Hell for a little bit.”
Tom instantly regretted his action, the siren lunged at him, his arms wrapping around him and holding his own down. With his teeth and tongue, the sea demon pried the wolf’s mouth open and purged a fluid that felt like boiling oil down his throat.
With newfound vigor forged from the sheer disgust of the situation, he pried the creature off of him and flung him at the bathroom wall, coughing and sputtering out the vile fluid before confronting the sea beast who crawled back into the bathtub.
“WHAWT THE FUCK IWS YOUW PWOBWEM?”
He slapped his hands over his snout in sheer shock and embarrassment.
“...Pardon?” The sea monster was very obviously trying very hard not to laugh, and failing. “I didn’t quite get that, Tommy~.”
Tom’s cheeks were flushed gray, his fists were clenched and steam was coming out of his ears, he didn’t want to speak ever again! His new voice sounded nothing like his old one! It sounded more like a kid’s voice if the kid inhaled helium! And don’t get him started on the new speech pattern he was cursed with. He’d use the notebook, but sadly, it looked like it was destroyed by water in the struggle.
“Why did uwu duwu thiws tuwu me uwu bastawd?”
“This was unintentional, truly. But this is so much better than what I had planned!” The demon ignored the wolf’s growling as he pinched his cheek. “Awen't uwu juwst the cutest wittwe whewp!”
“Knock iwt off, uwu sea whowe!” He swatted the hand off of his face. “I wawnt my voice tuwu be nowmaw!”
“Well, we don’t always get what we want now, do we?”
“But, but uwu pwomised uwu'd get me my voice bawck!”
“Now that’s just a bold-faced lie. I said I’d help you speak again, I never once said that I’d give you your old voice.”
“Okay, wisten hewe.” He reached into the bathtub and grabbed a hold of the tub stopper. “If uwu change my voice bawck, i... I'ww give uwu whatevew uwu wawnt. But if uwu down't, i'ww puww the pwug wight hewe awnd now!”
“Do it, coward.” The demon looked the wolf dead in the eyes. “I dare you.”
He didn’t even react when Tom yanked the stopper out and put it in the sink, well out of the siren’s reach.
“At least now you’re a man of your word.” The merman sighed as the water slowly drained from the tub. “Better late than never I suppose.”
He laid down in the still draining tub. At first, Tom thought this was an attempt to keep his gills wet for just a little bit longer, but then he saw the water turn black as it went down the drain and the musician said his last words to the wolf, not in a voice made out of instruments, but his own, human voice.
“See you again soon, Conner.”
“SAMMY WAWWENCE?!”
He called out in shock as he frantically reached into the now quickly draining tub. But no matter how desperately he dug his claws in there, he found nothing but water.
The remaining liquid went down the drain, leaving nothing but a few clear puddles on the tub’s floor and the now-verbal wolf alone with his thoughts.
“Oh my fucking god... Whawt am i going tuwu teww Awwison awnd Henwy?!”

So. It’s been a While.
Hey all, it’s been a while since I’ve actually posted anything to this blog, but Bendy has been on the brain for the past 24 hours and I’ve had a minor realization.
I never said what my intended ending for my Vampire Henry AU was. I’ve had a loose...  Outline?  Idea?  Of what I wanted for the ending for this story, but I just never got around to writing it out.  I figured that, since I’ve let this AU hang for so long, I may as well tell yall what would have been in store for everyone.
So Here’s How the Vampire Henry AU was gonna Go/End
Basically, Henry would gather all the remaining employees and the toons and try to figure out how to get everyone out.
Except, everyone is very insistent that they can’t leave.  That Joey did something to them/to the machine that keeps them from being able to escape.  But they’ve all come to the united decision that they need to at least get Henry out.  That he can still leave, and he should leave.  Before Joey gets the chance to trap him too.
Henry decides the only only way to get out, the only way to end all of this, is to finally confront Joey himself.  (Much to everyone else’s worry/horror.)  They try to talk him out of it, but he doesn’t listen/let them.
They don’t deserve what Joey’s done to them.  They shouldn’t have to suffer for whatever it is that Joey wanted to cause all this.
So he descends into the deepest parts of the studio  (since that’s where he’s been told Joey is)  with everyone he’s gathered following worriedly behind him.
(He’s also probably mentioned that he hasn’t eaten/fed since he came to Studio, and is honestly feeling pretty sick by now from how hungry he is.)
At first, Henry tries talking to Joey when he finds him.  (Hoping that his old friend might still be there, somewhere.)  Joey goes into a long, dramatic speech trying to get Henry to join/help him, even admitting to making a deal with a demon to do everything he’s done with the studio. As he goes, the vampire realizes something.
Henry comes to a simple (and very sad) realization while talking to the person who’s been at the root of all of this.
That’s not Joey.
It’s his face, it’s his voice, but the person in front of him isn’t Joey.  And it probably hasn’t been Joey for a very long time, and he says as much to the man.
He also says that he wants no part in this.  In any of this.
He’s not joining Joey’s mad scheme, not siding with any demons, not being part of this.  All he wants is for this to end.  To go home and live his life.
Joey isn’t happy to hear that.
A fight breaks out, (one befitting the whole “deal with a demon” thing), and that’s the first Joey learns that Henry is a vampire.
This is actually a really big problem for him.
Joey’s deal was basically him trading the souls of the people in the studio for his and Henry’s creations to come to life.
Originally, when Joey was still himself, Joey was completely willing to trade his own soul to bring the toons to life.  But the demon he summoned said they couldn’t take/use his soul for that. Saying he valued everyone else over himself, making his soul less valuable for the Deal.
The demon said he would still make the Deal, but it would come with some conditions.
Joey would need to the souls of all the founding/important humans of the studio to bring the toons to life (and glory to the studio as well.)
Unfortunately, the one “founder” he was missing was Henry.  So he called Henry there to try and finally finish the Deal to “fix” everything.  Which was best accomplished by killing Henry and taking his soul.  (Which is why everything is so twisted/dangerous/deadly when Henry gets there.)
Except, if Henry was a vampire, that couldn’t happen.
(Not sure if it means Henry doesn’t have a soul, if he still has a soul but it’s just not human anymore, or if just part of his soul is gone and that’s the problem.)
Upon realizing that, everything starts falling apart because now Joey can’t complete his Deal.  He can’t provide the final Human Soul needed to maintain/complete the Deal.
[I’m not actually sure what happens to Joey at this point.  Part of me wants to say that the demon takes his soul as a kind of punishment for not finishing the Deal,  him being tied to Henry in some way to make up for the harm he did  (no idea how,  but I can’t help feeling like this one could be pretty cruel depending on HOW is was done.  Like if he was made into a Thrall),  or something else.]
After the fight, everything starts to undo itself the staff turning back, the building changing back to how it was before the machine/demon twisted it. (Toons stay though!  Not sure how to justify it right now, but they are going to stay.)
And Henry collapses to the ground.  Because, without the adrenaline to distract him, his body has basically remembered that he’s starving to death at the moment.
He’s too starved and weak to even go feral by this point, and can’t do anything save himself.
Everyone is terrified, panicked, and doesn’t know what to do to help Henry.  But one of the employees comes up with the idea of letting Henry bite them, hoping that they’re changing back fast enough for their blood to be drinkable for him.
(I wanna say Norman, Allison, or Tom have the idea.  Because the 3 of them seem to be the most...  Solid?  I guess?  They seem to be the least unstable/inky compared to everyone else.  Especially Norman.)
Thankfully, their idea works and Henry is able to eat enough to not die, but he does still pass out afterward.
When Henry comes too, they’re all hurrying to the upper floors out of fear that the building (or rather, the lower floors) only existed because of the Demon.  And without it, they were collapsing/falling apart.
Henry (despite still being hungry and a bit weak) starts yelling directions from his memory of the upper levels, and working to get everyone out safely again.  They get back to the safer floors in time, and watch the passageway they were sprinting through dissolve into ink behind them.  Henry starts guiding them the rest of the way, and they all finally making it to the final door of the studio.
The hole in the floor that Henry fell through is still there,  but it’s navigated fairly easily by them hunting down some wooden planks and laying them over it to make a bridge for them to cross.
And once they get out, he leads them to the house/apartment he owns in town  (it’s night, so they can all travel safely)  and everyone just collapses where they are.
Henry only joins after slipping out and finally  (finally!)  getting a proper meal in him.
Things happen, mostly about everyone feeling like a fish out of water from how much everything has changed since Joey trapped them.  (Many of them coming to terms with everything they lost).
Eventually, everyone  (on their own or in a group)  asks to stay with Henry to make new lives for themselves.  Many even asking to be turned so they can just...  Stay.  With him.  Where it’s familiar and safe.
(Not too sure who, tbh.   Sammy for sure, possibly Norman and Wally too.  Hell, maybe it’s everyone in the end.  Unfortunately, they may have made the choice because they have no where else to go.  But at least Henry does his best to help/care for them.)
And Henry ends with a new colony formed from his old coworkers from JDS, the toons real and in his life, and him finally establishing a territory from the town he’d had so many major points in his life in.

i shifted into the bendy and the ink machine universe, heres a list of dumbass things ive done
1: tried to steal a striker clone, i didn't even try to find a lone one, i went to a whole ass group and attempted to pluck the deformed spider toon and run, all i got was a wrench to the shins and bit.
2: got into a fistfight with the projectionist, you all know how that turned out
3: almost lit Sammy Lawrence on fire with a matchbook i found. i can still hear his scream of pure terror as a bolted at him with the intent of turning him into a campfire
4: punched joey drew in his face and called him a wrinkly old fuck, take that, cartoon cultist.
5: got knocked out by sammy with nothing but anger issues and a dustpan, i will never make fun of henry ever again.
6: flipped of the ink demon and called him a “dirty little smiling twink” you'll never guess who got killed after that
7: told sammy to ``play me a tune, music man`` and got hit with a banjo as i was running, zero stars, do not recommend.
8: lit berti on fire with gasoline with the same matchbook i chased sammy with.
9: pulled outta gun on malice angle, i will never forget the look of shock on her face. where did i pull it from? outta my ass i guess
10: pat boris, ten stars, do recommend, very fluffy
11: when piper came out of the poster i grabbed his face and tossed him off the balcony,
12: dropped a bacon soup can on strikers head. (the head mouth can be used as a garbage disposal, who knew?)
13: attempted to boot a fisher across the room, his fishing line got tangled around my leg
14: sang very off key and loudly as sammy was trying to tell me about sacrificing me to the ink demon, he killed me himself
15: hugged a lost one
16: hugged jack (im truly honored he let me get that close)
17: made a religion based on sammy, (”so this is what it feels like” he said)
18: high fived the big-ass hand in the lake, commen sense never stopped me before and it will not now
19: screamed/sung “LOVE ME LIKE A LOVE SONG BABY” as i was getting chased by the ink demon.
20: sat and hummed with jack
21: threw a bacon soup can at the projectionist (thats how we got into the fistfight in the first place)

Let’s talk about Allison and Tom
There’s been a discussion regarding these two characters: an Alice and her Boris and there’s also been a lot of theories regarding them and/or their identities. So this post is basically me slapping my thoughts on the table. And here it is:
Allison Angel and Tom!Boris are in fact Allison Pendle and Thomas Connor. But you can’t take everything about them presented in BATIM for granted.
This theory first came from this video by MatPat, whose main subject was to discuss Henry and even had good backing reasoning/evidence for his status and what-he-is in-game. He also mentions how Allison and Tom’s names aren’t on coffins and therefore can’t be Allison Pendle and Thomas Connor. If anything, they’re actually soulless; Joey was unable to get their souls.
First problem: MatPat completely glosses over a detail confirmed by Joey in Chapter 5 from this audio log:
“Listen Tommy, I know you boys over at Gent are doing your best, but I'm paying for living attractions, not weird abominations! Whatever that grinning thing was I saw wandering around your office, you better keep it locked up tight! I realize it was a first attempt but imagine if the press caught sight of it! Might scare off investors! And in response to your previous memo: If you claim your failures are because these things are soulless, then, damn it, we'll get them a soul! After all, I own thousands of 'em!”
Did you get that? The reason Ink Bendy is off-model is because he doesn’t possess a soul. If they were soulless, Allison and Tom would look... pretty demonic. But they’re not; they’re on-model, resembling their cartoon counterparts near-perfectly (the biggest difference is, of course, their attire such as Allison’s ponytail and dress and Tom’s robotic arm)
Second problem: He never explains why their names are Allison Angel and Tom. MatPat doesn’t elaborate on this fact and just calls them that and moves on with the video.
So, my take. The game files reveal unused secret messages, and these messages do in fact reveal that Allison and Tom’s names are absent; confirming that they don’t have coffins:

So, they’re alive, right? Well...
In Chapter 4 there’s an audio log labeled “Untitled”. The entire audio log is just somebody gruesomely transforming into an ink monster, most likely a searcher if one goes off of the moaning. According to the game files, its Grant Cohen. Not to mention, in the first BATDR gameplay trailer, look what happens to Audrey’s hand when she uses her power:

When Audrey uses her power, her hand changes. It literally turns into ink. Both these scenarios confirm that killing people and stuffing their souls through a machine isn’t the only way to reincarnate people as living cartoons. My theory is that at some point, Allison Connor exchanged enough letters with Joey that he could convince her and Thomas to return to the studio. Similar to Henry, they became so exposed to the ink that it literally transformed them into perfect toons. They were then reborn from the ink produced by the Giant Machine (we’ll get back to this). The dark truth is that, Allison Angel and Tom!Boris are Joey’s best outcomes from his experiment. Not to mention, Allison says this to Henry:
“I... I honestly don't know my name. So they call me Alice.”
“He [Tom] just seems to respond to it [his name].”
It’s a fact that the ink corrupts the mind. Sammy’s Hot Topic Q&A confirms that his memory deteriorated, and considering that these answers come from when Sammy is The Prophet, it wouldn’t be too unlikely to conclude that the ink did this to him. So, when Allison and Tom were reborn, the ink corrupted their minds so much they basically became amnesiac.
Speaking of reborn, notice what Allison says when talking about the ink in general and why she can’t come with Henry for the final battle:
“...you don't want to touch the ink for too long. It can claim you, pull you back.”
“We can't! We're not like you, Henry. If we go in there, well... a drop of water in the ocean is never seen again.”
It wouldn’t be surprising that they were born out of the bigger ink machine (and we have now officially come back to this). Given its size, the smaller one — the actual one, the one that — wouldn’t be able to produce enough ink to fill entire caverns (the underground levels). It also makes a lot of sense given the context: too much ink would make them unable to fight back, and too little wouldn’t do much effect at all. Both would literally become a drop of water in the ocean if they went with Henry. Not to mention that the first phrase is similar to part of Twisted Alice’s monologue when Henry enters her lair:
“Take this little freak for instance! He crawled in here... trailing his tainted ink to my door! It could have touched me! It could have pulled me back! Do you know what it's like? Living in the dark puddles? It's a buzzing, screaming well of voices! Bits of your mind, swimming like, like fish in a bowl! The first time I was born from its' inky womb, I was a wriggling, pussing, shapeless slug. The second time... well... it made me an angel! I will not let the demon touch me again.”
Now, here’s what I mean when I say you can’t take every word of there’s for granted. The truth is that it’s entirely clear what their motivations and there are several instances where things seem highly suspicious regarding these two:
In Allison and Tom’s hideout, Allison’s graffiti contains a list of levels that are crossed out. If one reviews the cutscene at the beginning of the chapter, it is revelated that throughout Henry’s time as prisoner, the levels are listed and then crossed out, as well as more of her drawings being inscribed onto the walls. It’s almost like they’re looking for something
There’s, weirdly enough, graffiti of the Seeing Tool outside the Administration Lobby. Were they done in that level before? If not, why is it there?
Considering that both of them are pretty experienced around the studio (Allison does know what the Lost Harbor is, and is a professional swordsmaster), Allison doesn’t even use her sword to slice off the boards of the prison cell door. Tom even has an axe and doesn’t do anything.
Tom starts off completely distrustful and treating Henry through spite. He almost immediately becomes part of Henry’s side.
Allison asks Henry to lead the way down the floorless hall. Even after she calls out his name, she doesn’t really grab on top him; she just let’s him fall (although this statement is confusing on its own as Henry falls way to fast for him to look up and see their reactions; its probably not even possible to see their reactions without hacking)

@thedreamfisher suggests that they could be manipulating Henry. and to be honest, yeah... that’s exactly what they’re doing. Why they’re doing it, though, is difficult to pin down, but my theory — yes, that is the theory part — is maybe because of one obvious fact: Henry isn’t like them at all. Allison even says this is why she and Tom can’t really trust them, and Twisted Alice confirms he’s “so interesting... so different...”. Compare this to the way Allison talks to Audrey in the BATDR trailers (this and this). She’s a lot more open, honest, more like a mentor and willing to tell her a lot more than she would to Henry, possibly because she resembles that of a lost one (why Henry’s avatar is completely invisible when hacking and what is a subject to debate for another time).
Allison knows Henry is different and may be manipulating Henry because she wants to turn off the machine. Tom too. Why do you think she calls him “the hope [she’s] been waiting for” and tells him that he “[can] set [them] free”. But, here’s the catch: this doesn’t make them bad. There’s been a number of theories that they’re bad people, but this manipulation only shows they have good intentions; if anything, they’re more of the most basic, generic definition of antihero.
And this makes even more sense when the conversation between Buddy Lewek, Allison Pendle, and Thomas Connor is reviewed in Chapter. It’s a lot of dialogue, and I’m not going to copy and paste the entire thing, but the most important anecdotes is that they hint to have more knowledge of the machine and its functions than the average employee. They also imply two things: they seem to be aware of Susie’s fate (most likely what happened after Joey gave her an offer hinted in audio logs in Chapter 4 and 5) and that they can’t stop Joey at all. It’s hinted by Allison that she and Tom both needed the job, and that they committed to his decisions because of the pay. Tom mentions how Joey treated him well, and Joey claims from a memo to clipped in the Joey Drew Studios Employee Handbook that he’s fascinated by Allison and her personality.
So... yeah. That’s it. Feel free to comment.
(One-finale note: The idea/credit of Allison and Tom being born out of the bigger ink machine and the manipulation aspect all goes to thedreamfisher. Do not give me credit for this idea)
