Do you know what a chaconne is? That's not a rhetorical question btw. No shade either, I'm just curious. For those who don't know, a chaconne is a rhythmical and harmonic motif over a pronounced bass-line. That's my leftover understanding from music classes taken a lifetime ago. According to google, a chaconne is also "a slow, solemn dance in 3/4 time, of Spanish or Moorish origin, similar to the passacaglia." For a non-k-pop example, I recommend Hilary's rendition of Bach's chaconne (more leftover knowledge from a lifetime ago).

Anyway, this likely isn't important context. The use of "chaconne" in the song probably has more to do with how it sounds in the song, than what it means. In any case, Enhypen earned a gold star from me with this pantydropper anthem.

2 - Criminal Love - ENHYPEN

I'm not sure how many of you were here when Heartbeat and Dream Glow were released. What I remember was shock, pure incredulity that BigHit would release songs of that quality for game OSTs. From ARMYs and k-pop stans alike, this was the sentiment. It was like a flex that BTS had such a peerless discography they could make songs like this for a side gig.

That's immediately what I was reminded of when I first heard Criminal Love, released as the OST for Enhypen's webtoon. It's moody, vampy, seduction in a song. That's what that song is. Sad too, when you hear the lyrics. Watching the live performance only drives it home.

1 - Blind - ENHYPEN

This song has given me one of the best auditory experiences I've ever had in k-pop. Which is a bit odd because yes a lot happens in the production, but the switches are so subtle you almost don't notice it.

Heeseung, Ni-ki, Jay, Sunoo, Sunghoon, Jake, and Jungwon - all outdid themselves on this song. Vocally, they sound incredible. The writing, (again) is top notch. This is one of the only songs released this year that I genuinely struggle not to loop.

5 - Yes or No - Jung Kook

This is one song I'm praying and begging that we get thousands of remixes of. HYBE, please work your magic and give us 10 remixes of Yes or No. I need it. This is the perfect pop song in that it makes you crave more. I know it's got a predictable, common almost, chord progression in VI -> V -> I -> IV, but it's perfect in that it's impossible to get sick of it. It just worms itself into your head and all you can think of is all the ways to sing all over those chords.

Jung Kook's vocal work on that song is irreproachable. He's really set himself apart with this album and I'm glad he did it.

4 - Snooze - AGUST D, ft. Ryuichi Sakamoto & Woosung

HUH?! should be here, as should Amygdala so consider this a triple entry: HUH + Snooze + Amygdala. The reason why is self-evident (I hope).

Anyway... I want to talk a bit about Snooze.

Yoongi loves using the piano. He likes the sound of it, and you can tell in songs like Snooze. He has such a profound love and respect for that musical instrument that it only makes sense a man like Ryuichi acknowledged Yoongi before he passed.

With everything that happened this year, remembering Moonbin, and knowing that Yoongi made this song for his juniors... the first time I heard this song it completely destroyed me. Anyone who hasn't paid attention to the lyrics yet should check it.

When I casually listen in to TXT, SVT, Enhypen, BoyNextDoor, and see the work they're doing, putting out easily some of the best music and performances in their generations, I hope and pray they develop a support system that genuinely values them, soon. I hope they survive this industry, and thrive in it.

3 - All Day - RM ft Tablo

Not to be that person (since he's canceled for reasons and it actually makes sense why), but when I first saw the song title All Day, I immediately remembered All Day by Kanye West - one of the sauciest and meanest songs he's ever made. I was worried, given the tone of the album to that point, that Namjoon was going to give us his take on Ye's original. Joon is more than capable of dropping a track just as mean if not more. I didn't put it past him to pay homage to the Kanye joint by taking a spin on it. But, thankfully, All Day is nothing like Kanye's song, and it's my favourite song on Indigo because it's the best.

Joon's diction on this track is *chef's kiss*. His voice.... that outro, and thank goodness, Tablo came through. He actually has a presence on the track and made it even more worth the listen.

It kills me that we don't even have a visualizer for this masterpiece.

2 - Set Me Free Pt 2 - Jimin

Thank you for giving me another chance to talk about Set Me Free Pt 2.

One reason all the anxiety and fear-mongering around Jimin seems insane to me is because Jimin dropped this song and ended k-pop in 2023. He literally has no real competition. He came in, showed out, and left. That song is the sexiest joint out of Korea this year. It's so nasty. He's absolutely disgusting on this song in how brutally he makes rubbish of everything beneath him. Like, he literally has people bowing down to him in the choreography. Bobbing their heads like Funko Pops, while he sings to be set free. I'm going on a bit of a tangent here, but I want to say something. There's a cruelty in the way Jimin speaks. Whether to someone else or to himself. It's often (somewhat) restrained, born of the way he sees the world I think, and it was especially brutal in their early days, but he's toned it down significantly since 2016. It's virtually non-existent in his speech patterns and word choice now. Jimin of the last few years communicates gently, directly, tactfully, and at worst, bluntly. A lot of that cruelty is toned down but he unleashes a whisper of it on SMF Pt 2. Just listen to what he's saying on that song. That autotune effect on his voice was for our benefit and safety. Nothing can convince me otherwise. And we haven't even yet gotten into the full symbolism of the MV and his lyricism...

The moment I heard this song I knew I would bias Jimin. He's a man who knows what he's doing.

Jimin is a one of a kind wonder. Real magic in a person. An artist. He proves it on Set Me Free Pt 2. Kudos to PDogg too - the GOAT.

When it comes to song construction, I have to give credit where credit is due and the fact is Hoseok outdid himself with this song. It is perfect, my top pick for a k-pop song in 2023. Jermaine did good on it too. But, you know... Hoseok.

The whistle melody he came up with, the beat, the vocal layering, the mixing, the MV direction - all of it is perfect. If we were giving scores based on separate components, OTS would get 10s in every category.

"Oh my God!" Youngji observed the dessert. "I'm gonna eat it right now," Della waited in anticipation with puppy eyes. "Oh?! Why is so good?!"

"Really?" Della lit up.

"You can be rich by selling this!" Youngji's eyes widened. "No added sugar too!" she took one final mouthful of the cookie. "Mm! Really good."

"Thank you, I'm glad you like them," Della clapped a little.

"You give me cookies, I give you..." Youngji presented her bottle of Irish Cream. "I heard you hate alcohol so maybe sweeter ones will be nice," she poured the younger a shot. "And I also prepared Kahlua with milk like Soobin-ssi just in case."

"Yayy! Thank you-" Della clapped.

"Have you tried either of them?" Youngji held both of the bottles.

"Uhh, I think I've tried Bailey's but not.. the.. Kahlua," Della received the glass with a small bow. "Thanks- cheers!" they clinked their glass together and downed the drink.

"Why did you join this show if you dislike alcohol?" a staff asked after their guest scrunched her face.

"Youngji-sunbaenim personally asked for me," Della gestured towards the host. "Not Enhypen, ME. How can I turn down this great honour?"

"I wanted to invite Heeseung-nim," Youngji joked. "-but I couldn't, so.."

"There's no way. I'm very possessive of my members," Della gave Youngji a playful glare. "I'm kidding! I'm kidding! It would've been completely fine if they took my place," everyone laughed at how panicked she appeared.

"No, I was messing with you. I like this member the best, I really wanted you to come," Youngji rested her chin on her hands.

"Oh is that so?" Della mirrored her actions, responding with a flirty tone.

"I changed my mind," Youngji backed away while holding back a smile.

"Hm?" the younger raised her eyebrows with a smirk.

"Eat the ramyeon," Youngji turned her head away, attempting to hide her blush. "EAT THE RAMYEON!" her body turned in the same direction as her head. She rushed to pour herself another shot to down.

"Unnie- whyy?"

"You know- you look prettier in real life," Youngji complimented.

"Ah thank you..." Della sounded a bit awkward.

"Why why? Why do you sound weird?" Della chuckled a bit.

"No no, thank you so much for the compliment but like- if someone says I look better in real life then people are more obligated to see me in person," Youngji let out an 'ahh.' "-and some fans are more fortunate to see me than others, right? So I just feel kinda bad."

"Ahh I see, I see. That's a very interesting way of putting it," Youngji nodded.

"Plus I make money off of looking good in front of the camera," the whole room laughed at her statement. "So if you wanna support me then there's nothing wrong with only consuming my content."

"Slay girl, slayy!"

"REALLY?!" Della sat up straight in her seat.

"Mm! Unnie-" Della realised. "You have a belly button piercing, right?"

"Uh that's right!" Youngji raised her top a little to show her guest better. "You have one too, no?"

"Mm mm, it's just a bit difficult to show it right now, you can search it up online," Della smiled sheepishly while touching her abdomen.

"Did it hurt? Mine was so painful.." Youngji mirrored her actions.

"For real. I have multiple ear piercings but navel was so painful," Della nodded.

"Do you plan on getting tattoos?" Youngji asked.

"I.. want to.." Della trailed off. "But it kinda scares me."

"Why? Why? It's not that painful."

"No 'cause it's truly permanent, right?" Youngji replied with an 'ahh.' "Yeah so I'm really hesitant."

"You with a tattoo would be crazy though," Youngji leaned back in her seat. "Really, REALLY."

"I'll probably do multiple temporary ones."

"So you're the only girl in a group full of boys. You spend every single day with them- and even every second, right? Since you live in the same dorm" Youngji stated. "How do you manage? Tell me about it."

"Mm.. To be honest.." Della trailed off, taking a sip of her drink before continuing. "It's not as difficult as I thought it would be."

"Since I get my own room, whenever I want privacy, I can just shut the door," she elaborated. "Of course if you live together with ANYONE, things won't always go your way but I think that we're fairly understanding of each other."

"Did the company assign you that room?" Youngji asked.

"They gave me a choice on either sharing a dorm with a manager or have my own room."

"Ahh and you would rather improve your bond."

"Yes yes, the only big issue I can think about is how messy and at times how loud they are," she took another sip. "-and they also have a lot of stuff like they like to go shopping and it kinda fills up the place."

"What if you wanna date?" Youngji asked a small trick question.

"Why would I want to when I have my seven men?" Della's tipsy side was starting to show. The whole room cheered at her statement. "I got seven best friends always by my side! I don't need anyone else!"

"That's right! Oh! That's so fun!" Youngji covered her mouth. "What about them as members in general?"

"Honestly- I love being in Enhypen, so so much," Della's words were a bit slurred. "You know how I said I have to be more ladylike when the boys aren't here?" Youngji nodded. "I'm able to be more carefree by being in Enhypen. I'm the group's visual!" Youngji cut her off a little.

"Korea's siren!"

"Korea's siren! Do you think I would be able to act that casually if I debuted in a girl group?" Della got close to Youngji. "It's not like I can't be more elegant- I just choose not to."

"That's right because- as I watch you right now, I noticed that you have very proper etiquette. Like the way you eat, the way you sit and drink, everything," Youngji pointed out.

"I am 100% capable! My grandmother was very strict with these things!" Della exclaimed. "But I don't wanna be too ladylike with the members or I'll just look..." she lost her words. "Y'know what I mean?"

"Yeahh, I know I know. Or people would view you as a try-hard, right?" Della nodded at Youngji's help.

"People judge girls more harshly. Both in the industry and just in general," Della suddenly got serious. "Even though I am judged quite harshly- in my own eyes at least- I'm incredibly lucky to at least be a bit more carefree. I'm getting judged either way but I feel like... I don't have it as bad as other female idols."

"You actually do," Youngji looked at her with pity. "I've seen all the comments and all that, and none of them makes sense, seriously."

"Because I'm surrounded by men, I'm also evaluated through a man's standards," Della smiled softly. "No matter how well I dance, because I have boobs and feminine features, people will think that I'm not fit to be the group's dancer."

"That's right, that's right, and also-" Youngji cleared her throat a little. "They say stuff like 'she's just a visual' or 'she's just a dancer,'" Della hummed in agreement.

"People need to understand that I want to be an idol and I want to be in an idol group, this is my dream. If I really, REALLY wanted to stay as a dancer, I could," Della raised her eyebrows. "If I wanted to do solo, I could. If I wanted to be a model, I could. If I wanted to just be a rapper, I could. If I wanted to be in a girl group, I could," she started getting into a rhythm and rapped freestyle, making Youngji dance a little at her 'verse.'

"Ah I like it, I like it! Let's record after this shoot!"

"Oh I've never been this tipsy!" Della giggled.

"You're not tipsy- just straight up drunk," Youngji corrected.

"I'm not drunk! Drunk is like Hoshi-sunbaenim!" the staff laughed at the mention.

"Why is Hoshi being mentioned in almost every episode?" a staff asked, making Della laugh deeply.

"This is our country's siren," Youngji pointed at Della with a silent laugh.

"No! But I'm really- REALLY not drunk. I'll show you! Sober.... now!" suddenly Della sat very politely again and took a bite of her food with elegance.

"So about your members-" Youngji knew exactly what would make her show her drunk side again, because she started giggling profusely. "I didn't even say anything!"

"My members are so sweet," Della covered the bottom half of her red face.

"Cute! So cute!" Youngji grinned. "Are you worried about dating rumours or stuff like that? Especially as a young group?"

"Nope! We just let people think what they wanna think because we know what's right or wrong anyway," Della answered really casually. "If you ship me with the members or with Lee Youngji, I don't care."

"WITH LEE YOUNGJI?!" Youngji stood up from her seat.

"Honey.. Don't be like this.." Della whined, also getting up to hold Youngji's hand.

"Della-ya.. Are we actually doing this?" Youngji gave in to the skit. "What about your fans?"

"Ah.. Then I'm sorry honey.. But Engenes come first-" Youngji immediately let go of Della's hands dramatically. "But you can share!"

"Share?! Me?! Share you with Engenes?! No no, you should share me!" Youngji protested.

"I would but what about my Engenes?"

"Actually darling.. I don't think this will work.." Youngji sighed. "You have seven brothers, SEVEN. How can we make this work?"

"Noo! They're not my brothers-"

"But still! SEVEN BOYS! I can't do this- we have to break up."

"It's not because you like any of them, right?" Della teased.

"NOO! STOP TRYING TO CREATE RUMOURS!" Youngji pushed Della. "I'm gonna do the same- I saw Della making out with Jay-nim-"

"WHAT IS THIS RUMOURR?!" Della whined, pushing Youngji lightly with a (fake) disgusted look on her face. "Everyone! Do not believe Lee Youngji! She had too much to drink-"

"AND DON'T BELIEVE IN KANG DELLA! SHE HAD WAY TO MUCH TO DRINK!" Youngji suddenly calmed down and grabbed Della's shoulders. "Della. Della-ssi. What are we doing? Ladylike- ladylike. We need to act like a lady."

"Oh yeah-"

"How did everything suddenly get so chaotic?" the staff couldn't stop laughing.

"Sorry, darling-ya," Youngji hugged Della. "I love you!"

"I love you, honey! I'm sorry too!"

"Della-ya, darling," when Youngji saw Della start giggling at almost every single thing, she knew that it was time for her to go home. "I think it's time we end this."

"Ya! Honey! Why are we back to this?!" Della whined, taking a sip of her water. "Ah! This is the kinda drink I like! What's this one called?!"

"Della-ssi, that's water," Youngji and her staff laughed. "I mean it's time for you to go home!"

"Ahh is that so?" Della giggled. "That's why you're so tasty!" she talked to her glass.

"DELLA GO HOME!" Youngji exclaimed.

"Oh my God! What time is it?! I promised the hyuppas I'll get back drunk!" Della looked around in panic.

"You promised them what?" Youngji laughed at her.

"This is the tipsiest I've ever been! They wanna see me tipsy!" Della giggled excessively, getting up and straightening her clothes.

"You're drunk, Della-ya. Just straight up drunk-"

"Oh right, I was supposed to be a lady today.." Della paused for a few moments. "Everyone! I'm not usually like this! I'm usually very elegant! Today was an exception because I drank a lot!" she announced to the camera.

"Your fans are scoffing so hard right now."

"NOO! THEY'RE MINE!" Della whined with a pout.

"Ah yes yes, they're yours, they're yours," Youngji pat her shoulders. "Go home to them. Show them you're drunken state."

"Yes yes yes, sorry sorry," Youngji directed a wonky Della towards the front door. "Manager-nim, please take care of her until she reaches her front door," she instructed Della's manager.

"Bye honey!" Della then mouthed a 'call me' while doing a telephone gesture. "Bye everyone!"

5.14.24 TXT Promise Tour Tacoma Dome <3

Okay, I'm finally recovered enough to spill it all and gush about the Tacoma Dome show, which I was so blessed to be able to go to! My last concert was BTS at Allegiant in Las Vegas- again, so lucky to go! The next concert I was desperate to attend was TXT...but they have always toured in LA, and I haven't been in a financial position to travel. When I heard TXT had a stop here in Seattle for their 2024 Promise Tour, I cried. I scraped just enough money together to buy tickets (getting them was so stressful waah!), and flash forward to two nights ago, I had the concert of my dreams <3

Our seats were the nosebleeds, but they were great?? Idk, I guess I'm always sitting in the back at concerts so it doesn't bother me, and because the Tacoma Dome is a smaller venue than the last couple I've been to, it felt closer. We were also facing the stage straight on, so that gave a great view!

The moment the boys came out was so surreal, like idk...my routine is to relax by watching them doing “something” nearly everyday, and of course I'm always listening to them...to have them actually in front of me, no screen between us....?! Wild! They really are so tall lol! And so handsome, my god! The amount of charm and charisma is no joke. They are natural performers of course, but deeper than that, they are them, you know? There's just something so attractive in their authentic selves. It was just beyond amazing to be in their presence. Gives me the goosebumps just thinking about it.

Speaking of their presence, idk what Big Hit be feeding them, but whatever it is-- they were on FIRE. Like burn-the-stage-Lapalooza on fire. They were such a FORCE on stage. I came in with high expectations, I know what performers these boys are, but they just blew any expectation I had out of the water. Puma was an experience okay? Like the looks Yeonjun was giving the camera needed a parental warning. Taehyun during Quarter Life was something else!! I don't even know how to describe it, like he just like a whole man out there?? idk idk! Soobin took me out every time the camera was on him, period. Also: Killa. Need I say more? Beomgyu with his hand in his hair non-stop was the deadliest, and Kai with his “guitar solo”??? I'm not okay.

And if it wasn't their stage presence melting me, it was their hearts of gold. For real. The things they said in the ending ments just made me into a mushy puddle of love. Through the whole show they seemed so touched at the energy of the crowd and their reception overall, and I'm over here like: duh! We love you! But they seemed so surprised- in a really good way <3 TAEHYUNG SAID WE KILLED IT. YAAAS. Yeonjun stood on that stage and told us he felt like the “luckiest man in the world” and I about died. He was so full of love, telling MOAs over and over how much he appreciates our love and energy, just the sweetest omg! Kai said he was falling in love with us??? IDK it was like fever dream all their sweet comments oh gosh!

The crowd really was so good. I'm so proud Seattle showed up for the boys and gave them the energy they needed! Taehyun said that we started out so loud and strong that he wondered how we could continue it through the whole concert and not “burn out”, but he was amazed to see that we didn't quit, and he said that really fueled him :) Yeonjun said he had never experienced anything like it “since I was born”. Hell yes, Seattle MOA, way to go! The boys were particularly fascinated with our 'Tacoma dome stomping'. They looooved it and got such a kick out of it when we would do it along with our cheering, it just totally amped up the vibe. They had us do it over and over again. They would say something and we would go crazy and stomp and they would just smile amazed. They were speechless. It was so cool :D

The boys interactions with MOA was so sweet and genuine. There was a section of the night where they worked with us on a chant combined with our stomping and it was the most fun I've EVER had at a concert. The chant went like this (to the beat of We Will Rock You): stomp-stomp “TXT!” stomp-stomp “I love you!” stomp-stomp “moments of!” stomp-stomp “alwaysness!” stomp-stomp “yaaa, yaaa, yaaa!” :DD

The setlist was a banger. Dudeee. The show opened with Deja Vu, ahhhh!! I was a little sad not to hear the fan chant at all, not only for Deja Vu, but other songs as well...but again, the crowd was loud and we certainly made up for it, just- as a kpop veteran, I missed that part. I screamed my lungs out for 0X1=LOVESONG and LO$ER=LOVER like those were my dream songs to hear in concert and I'm still freaking out!! I was so glad to see Freefall get some love, it was so freaking awesome to see them preform Back For More, Chasing That Feeling, Deep Down, Dreamer, and Growing Pain. They absolutely killed Growning Pain, kpop who?

Speaking of killed: Killa nearly took me out. Okay, it DID take me out. I knew what was coming, yet nothing could prepare me for it. Yeonbin, subunit of my dreams, on stage, dancing together LIKE THAT, looking smoking hot, raising the temperature of the whole Tacoma Dome. It was an EXPERIENCE ya'll. I don't think I breathed the whole performance. I remember looking over at my sister and her mouth was just hanging out. Yup. They just did that. In front of my salad. Unreal. Wild.

Okay, I have to talk about the surprise performances of the night for me. Before the show I purposely avoided spoilers, I wanted to be surprised by the setlist. I was listening to the boys as I got ready for the concert, playing a game with myself, guessing which songs would TXT would preform? The track Thursday's Child came on and I was like, 'oh I love this song so much, but I know they will be doing Promise unit songs, so they won't do older unit tracks' and wrote it off. Then Trust Fund Baby came on. I have a special attachment to Trust Fund Baby, it just pulls at my heart, and it's probably my most listened to TXT track if I'm being honest. I wrote it off as an older album B-side and had negative zero expectations of hearing it that night. But I was wrong?!?! They freaking played Thursday's Child, adjusting it into a group song?! It was an amazing surprise, I was floored! But my surprise didn't end there. They played Trust Fund Baby. I sung my lungs out. I was so moved I cried you guys. Like it was so unexpected, I had told myself, 'no way' and then there they were, preforming it. Ah, I feel like crying just thinking about it.

Puma was also a surprise, but like I said above: they chewed that one up and spit it out, like damn!

AND THEY DID TINNITUS IN IT'S ENTIRETY. I am batshit about that song and I went INSANE when it came on oooooh booooy XDD The opening notes started and my cousin and I locked eyes and yelled, “whee!” and it just doesn't get better than that.

Farewell Neverland was shortened, saaaaad- and they did the same to Cat & Dog, but then came back and did the full version at the end of the show:) We all got to bark twice hahaha!

Runaway was one of my favorite performances of the night, one of my ultimate faves. They also did Magic, New Rules, Ghosting, Sugar Rush Ride (amazing remix!!), and Devil by the Window.

Tomorrow got it's moment to shine. Every song was preformed from the album, and let me tell you, Quarter Life was unreal. The Maknae Line was not be out done by the Hyungz. [chef's kiss]. I'll See You There Tomorrow's choreography was insane to see live and Miracle felt like a great big hug <3

I had an AMAZING experience at my first TXT concert. Truly, it couldn't have gone any better. I am so grateful to FINALLY have gotten to see my boys live. They are my everything and I will cherish the memories of this concert always. They promised to come back to Seattle if we promise to always stay MOAs. I promise.

their presence was so powerful and the michael jackson influence was *chef’s kiss* they did so well!! IMO soogyu’s vocals work rly well for this type of song and i wish that could have been captured better in this stage :( that said, the camerawork was much better here!!

and can we talk about the styling and overall creative direction too??? something is definitely up with all the rain elements for tnc: freefall 🤨 loved the whole undressing/shoulder exposure going on — it’s def still following the whole maturity arc they got going on — a teasing kind of sensuality that works so well for them. such a delicate balancing act that they nail every time

you were right that the anitta interaction could have been spicier — we’ve seen the anitta solo perf behind vid with all her dancers grinding about!! Let them use their hips!! 🗣️

overall the boys did amazing and local twt is going crazy for them too 🥹 and i’m waiting impatiently for the song’s official release, and i’m sure i’m not the only one!!

Same here I've been so busy that I haven't found the time to properly sit down and analyze it but first off YES I agree their stage presence was excellent and I also loved the Michael Jackson vibes! I loved how confident they looked and sounded. The choice to have beomgyu and soobin stay in a lower register was perfect!!

Also idk who the performance director is but I want to personally thank them for giving beomgyu the coolest intro ever!!! Like!!!! Can we talk about how epic that was?!!!

That organ music opening with the thunder and lightning better be on the official track. Goosebumps everytime!

I hadn't even considered how the stage elements tie into the narrative arc of tnc but you're right that the rain and storm are probably indicative of where their story is going. I wonder what track position back for more will be on the album because if it's the first one it would tie well together with farewell neverland, of them having jumped and fallen but perhaps hitting a storm. I'm so hyped to see the track progression on this album and do more analysis! Again, whoever is the creative director here: I WANT YOUR JOB literally such a dream

In terms of anitta's part though yeah we really could have upped the spice 🙈 I mean. We all know what she's capable of. I think I was expecting more of an interactive choreo element with her but it was obvious that they've prepared choreography that would work well without her bc obviously they can't always perform this with her. Having said that I wonder who will replace her part in the live version at their concerts? 👀

Overall I'm with you on the reaction though; they killed it and seeing the locals go "damn didn't know these kpop boys were that good" is such an ego boost hahaha anywho~!! More rambles to come as the mv drops! Hope you're having a good week 😘

how k-pop might be affected if there are restrictions in 2025? ↠ the genre itself might not have much representatives in that year. if the companies are preparing to have many solo or even group activities, they have to prepare to be rejected or delayed (ex. le sserafim). this can lead to idols being happier and increase of their artistic creativity. the idols finally can have some time to be creative in the way they want to.

is there chance for nct dream to separate from nct? ↠ neutral, i do see some members leaving sme though, like previous readings and check-ups. the members who could leave the company aren't fine with their salaries or aren't bringing any money to sme. nct dream could "end" however (not disbanding but reforming), but the group separating from nct... i doubt it...

will nct dream (members) leave sme? ↠ like i said before, yes, some members will leave. whoever leaves despite of the amount either want more money or aren't mentally okay.

could haruto still leave treasure? ↠ yes, i still see haruto making a choice. he seems to be isolated from the boys (if not literally, then vibe/vibration/path-wise) and is very hurt, so i'd say yes.

who will shine the most in txt's upcoming (october) comeback? ↠ since op asked specifically will soobin shine, i changed the question. i don't see anyone's era but a group's one. some people might say that it's someone's era but in reality it won't be and moas might think that it's not someone's era but a group one, probably all of them.

wonhee (i'll-it)'s future as the group's center ↠ could be actually great but with abuse of power from hybe's side. i don't see anything else as i don't have permission as of now to look into a bit more.

Random dreams without context pt.1

Today's series is a little bit different, since today I'm going to narrate the little information that I have left written about some dreams that I no longer remember. The following dreams are narrated from most recent to oldest:

1. Kidnapped with aespa: I had gone camping with the aespa girls somewhere in the United States, but it felt like a place in the middle of nowhere. The tent we were going to sleep in was very large and modern and everything was going well. However, when we were all inside the tent, we noticed something strange and when trying to get out, we realized that we were on the trailer of a truck. Apparently, it was a kidnapping. I remember that the man stopped the truck and made us all get into the cabin. It was all very strange because he wasn't trying to stop us from calling the police or our relatives. However, I do remember having the opportunity at one point to jump out of the moving truck (it even worked out well, I didn't get hurt), but he stopped the truck and kindly forced me back in.

2. Yeonjun's solo: Yeonjun had released a solo album and one of the songs was a collaboration with Soobin and another idol that I think my mind made up. Of course, they were recording TikTok videos with the choreography in a dance hall when suddenly, a large amount of water starts dripping from the ceiling. I was very scared because I thought a pipe had broken, but no one paid any attention because they needed the "rain effect".

3. Stray Kids' town + plot twist: It was in a very modern neighborhood but with a reputation for problems. I don't know if it was my job, but I spent my days with another boy inside a small booth that belonged to a store watching everything that was happening outside. Actually, I feel like this guy and I were hiding because there was a man outside before doing hair and dressing dolls and for some reason or comment, we had the feeling that one of those dolls was filled with explosives. But well, SKZ used to stop by and apparently I had a strange relationship with I.N, Lee Know, Hyunjin and Felix (yes, all of them). One day, I stayed glued to the glass while they looked at the window waiting for them to see me. At some point, they realize I'm there and they get happy to see me. I leave the cabin and stay with them. But it's all a bit strange because it seemed like I was dating everyone and no one at the same time. I could swear I didn't kiss any of them, but we were hugging and giving each other little bites and playing in a not-so-innocent way all the time. Everything was going very well, until suddenly a very angry Asian man arrives and picks me up from behind as if I were nothing more than a puppet. Very angry, he takes me to my house and leaves me there. To my surprise, I find all of BTS standing there. They were wearing their debut outfits but they didn't feel like themselves at all. It seemed like everyone had had a ton of plastic surgery throughout their lives and what I was seeing was what they were like before. The only ones who apparently were the same were Jungkook and Namjoon, but the rest (especially Jimin and Jin) were terrible. They even all looked like they were over 50 years old. The next plot twist comes when I discover that I live in a huge palace and I'm half royalty. I was lying on an armchair but with class and there were people in front of me showing me many dresses so I could choose one. When I finally choose, they tell me that Rosé had worn that dress in an MV recorded in a palace like mine and in fact that MV was a collaboration between BLACKPINK and aespa. But only Jisoo, Rosé, Jennie, Ningning and Karina. And I stayed there pleased with my choice.
