Washed last night and I am feeling these curls today. My bangs are doing a weird part thing, which is fine. I’m trying not to be too concerned with it looking perfect. Picture one, after drying but before SOTC (aka scrunch out the crunch), two & three separation at back, four & five bulldog clip to try fix it. Will leave it to “set” for at least ten minutes, then SOTC. I really really love the way Elnett used to hold my hair, I world scrunch it in after drying, but it is drying and I need a good CGM approved one. Here are the products I started with. They are all CHEAP. The Suave is like $1 and the gel is $2😱 ONLY use the clarifying shampoo for your final wash.

Step 1: wash hair with clarifying shampoo

Step 2: cowash (conditioner washing only)

wash roots good with conditioner then rinse and apply conditioner to rest of hair and finger comb or use a wide tooth comb to detangle then STC (squish to condish) rinsing out most of the conditioner (I condition my hair upside down)

Step 3: apply leave in conditioner (you can use a little suave conditioner)

Step 4: apply styling products of your choice (gel, mousse, cream, etc.)

Step 5: air dry or use hair dryer with diffuser, after hair is 100% dry SOTC (scrunch out the crunch) you can use an approved oil to SOTC to prevent frizz

I know I’ve been posting a lot of curl pictures lately, but I’m finally accepting and loving my curls and I’m am going to documenting the hell out of this journey. Yesterday I had probably one of the best hair days I’ve ever had. I washed on Sunday night and used @honestlizhere’s #123gel method. I slept in my buff, and #SOTC (scrunched out the crunch) the next morning. It was about a million degrees (okay that’s an exaggeration) but it was over 100 with the heat index, so there was a little frizz. But, even with the frizz the definition was amazing.
