Much like the Mourning Cloak frame and the Apeiron Strike Carrier, The LUXmini flicker suit replicates the teleportation technology on a person scale for deep cover SSC operatives who need a quick exit From our Lancer module: A Wake Writ in Void

This is so important and cannot be overstated. Safeword use is the revoking of constent. It means 'Hold on, we need communication'. You can always give consent later if you want to resume activity.
Using a safeword doesn't make you a 'bad' sub. I repeat, it does not make you a 'bad' sub. Feeling comfortable to use your safeword means you are having safe, consensual sex with your partner. Any person who disregards your safeword or makes you feel guilty about using or unable to use your safeword is unsafe to play with.
Hey so i saw this tik rok the other day, and the mistress was talking about like first sade word is not a safe word they just got scared and used it. They don't mean it. And she's a PROFESSIONAL Dom that teaches others and she said she taught everyone the same. Is it an actual thing people do? Because if someone does that to me I'll get a panic attack???? Like do people actually ignore the first safe word
Hello, darling vollyval!
Okay. No. That professional Dom/me sounds terrible. Any genuine person in the k!nk community knows that a safe word is a safe word, period. Consent is consent. "Safe, sane, and consensual", or SSC, is the motto of the community.
Everything stops immediately upon the use of a safe word, and anyone who says otherwise is unsafe to play with. It's called a safe word for a reason. And your reason for using it never has to be "justified". There are no instances where you cannot use it.
A position is making your leg cramp? Safeword.
You need to pee? Safeword.
You don't want to continue with a scene anymore? Safeword.
Anxious about something? Safeword.
Unsure about something? Safeword.
The point of a safeword is so that a scene immediately comes to an end (or pause, depending on the nature of the safeword used). For example, with the stop light system: Green is an enthusiastic go, keep going, everything's fine. Yellow/orange is slow down, check in, we need to talk about something. Red is stop. Simple as that. A safe word is the revoke of consent, whether that is to completely end the scene, or hit pause.
What's ever more important, is the communication that comes after the use of a safe word.
In short, a safe word must be taken seriously the moment it is uttered. It's there for a reason. It makes zero sense that it's ignored the first time, and that mentality is dangerous and disrespectful.

If we talk about the aesthetics of technology in Lancer, we can divide each of the Big 4 along lines of form and function.
IPS-N: Pure Function
IPS-N cares only what a mech does. It doesn't need to look good or pretty doing it - it only needs to be able to do that thing well. It's notable that the Raleigh, arguably the most form-oriented of the IPS-N frames, is also considered to be the company's biggest commercial failure - they strayed from their core design principles and got punished for it.
Harrison Armory: Form Follows Function
Harrison Armory still leans pretty heavily towards the functionality side of things, but it isn't satisfied with doing a good job alone. Yes, the mechs have to perform well, but they also have to look good doing it. There's no practical application for the Sherman's sleeveless coat or the Tokugawa's dainty little tassels, but they don't hinder combat functionality and they make the mechs look dashing. In comparison to IPS-N's coarse, industrial, almost unfinished look, HA mechs look stern, austere and imposing. There's a smoothness to them that you just don't get on IPS-N frames.
SSC: Function Follows Form
SSC is where we start to plunge into aesthetics-forward mech design. The Death's Head isn't six-legged because it's a sniper - the Death's Head is a sniper because it's six-legged. SSC came up with a mech design and asked: "what would this do best?" A six-legged chassis provided a more stable firing platform for precision weaponry, so that was what it did. Shapes and appearances are invented, and then a use case is discovered for them.
HORUS: Pure Form
It might seem weird to classify HORUS as "pure form" when their mechs largely don't have a consistent visual identity outside of the examples in the book. However, if we look a little deeper at the definition of "form," the explanation becomes clear: in some ways, HORUS is in the business of making statements, not mechs.
For anyone who's actually played a HORUS mech in Lancer, you may have noticed how awkward they are to actually pilot. Their statlines are, on paper, often very poorly suited to the sort of work they have to do. The Gorgon is built to attract attention and draw fire but has no armor. The Manticore is meant to be a front-line fighter but is quite slow. The Minotaur is meant to be a tech platform but has a low sensor range. The Pegasus' one functional trait doesn't apply to any of the weapons in its equipment package!
This is because HORUS mechs are designed purely as a testament to a certain discipline of technology. I remember expressing irritation with a friend's NeoGeo-for-X-Box emulator once, that you couldn't reconfigure the controller mapping so that it was easier to play with the X-Box controller. He remarked that it was meant as a historical preservation tool that perfectly duplicated the functionality of the NeoGeo, and that the only reason you could even play games using it at all is because that was a function of NeoGeo arcade cabinets.
That's how HORUS mechs are - their usability as chassis is broadly a side-effect.

Please remember to cater to your basic human needs before engaging in kink!
That means:
Drink water. This is for safety sure, but orgasms are way better when you’ve got the raw materials for it. Same with just wetness/precum, better hydrated than dry.
Have a snack. Your body may go through a lot and you blood sugar being low is dangerous. You don’t need a full meal, but consider a little fruit if you’re keeping it light, and try to have something nearby for afterwards to rebalance your blood sugar.
Check in with your mental state. D/s can be a wonderful way to soften the sharp edges in your mind, but if you’re already feeling off, consider more gentle activity. Adding the risk of drop (subdrop or Domdrop) can make your wonky day into a shitty week. Not worth it, care for your longterm wellbeing above momentary fun.
Plan for rest. You need to give yourself time to recover after engaging! I don’t care if you cum or not, if you’re going to do a scene or session or whatever, plan out time for aftercare and, if you’re a person who needs it, maybe a nap/time to drift. Do not play right up until you have to be somewhere, your endorphin drop will fuck you up.
This probably isn’t an all inclusive list but a good little checklist so you can do fun stuff with a little more care for your health, happiness, and safety.
You may have things to add to this list as you get to know yourself more. For some, their meditation may be a factor. Others may need to plan for a specific ritual to prepare themselves so they feel good. Affirmations might be important to get ready for a scene and still feel good about it. Additional checklist items can be tailored to you/your dynamics/your partners, but the above apply to everyone.
So remember: hydrate, eat, mental check in, rest.

I saw a post you made the other day about SSC being the trendsetters of the galaxy, so I consider you the authority and pose you this cursed thought I had.
Most of the SSC style mechs have human-like feet. Do you think that design aesthetic extends to their other products as well? Hard suits with sculpted toe boots? Drones and Subalterns that all walk on human feet? Airplanes and space ships with big feet landing gears?
The thought that this might be true frightens me.
This is cursed enough that I know it's true

I suspect a good chunk of Atlas poor reputation stem from trying to pilot it like Raiden from hit video game Metal Gear Rising: Revengence instead of Raiden from hit video game Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
