Air Duct cleaning is an important activity for a healthy life. This should be practiced by every household for a quality life. There air duct of a house is very important as it circulates the air from your heating and cooling system into and out of each room which maintains a pleasant atmosphere in the room. So given below are the reason that why it is important.
● To Stay Disease Free- It is very important to practice air duct cleaning to finish off the microorganisms or the contamination which are present in the air ducts. They can be bacteria, pollen or any other type of toxins which may be quite dangerous. Cleaning of the air duct will remove them otherwise they will keep rotating in the room which can result in illness.
● Improves Airflow Efficiency- The air ducts have a heavy build up where layers of dust can be formed. The dust can lead to slow functioning of air from the furnace. It can even result in load while cooling or heating the room. So cleaning the air duct will help the airflow to be more efficient. To the more cleaning on regular basis will help you to increase the life of the airduct.
● Removes Unpleasant Smell- You might face unpleasant smell in the household. The smell may be because of pets, household cleaning agents, paint fumes, tobacco. Even the food you prepare adds stale smells in the airducts. So whenever the airduct runs the odour will repeatedly flow through the house. Even if dust and dirt are there for a long time can result in a foul smell. A proper cleaning will result in removal of all smells and will provide you with fresh air.
● Helps to breathe easier- Cleaning of airducts remove all the toxins and particles which can be an obstruction to the nose while breathing. Air Duct cleaning is very important to get the best form of air at least at your home.
● Clean Environment- Cleaning of air ducts results in a clean environment. When the airducts are not cleaned professionally you may find dust on sofas, chairs and other furniture. When you give them a proper cleaning service you won't end up with a messy house and even feel good about your surroundings.
Behind The Music with Drift Into Black on Death from Above
Band Name: Drift Into Black
Person Interviewing: Craig Rossi
Song name: Death from Above
Music Genre:: Metal

This song is about. This song is...
The song Death From Above is basically the climax of the entire “Dead Suns Under the Forever Moon” concept album. The album is about atrocities afflicted someone and that person seeking revenge. It also deals with human elements such as how do you return to normalcy when you have taken your revenge too far. Was it all worth it?
The song totally has a Candlemass, Black Sabbath feel with dark doom riffs and layered keyboards. I believe this song will connect with anyone that has felt rage and has envisioned what they would say to someone or even unfortunately do to someone else which is a horrible scenario.
My music is.. Dark, moody, full of doom
How do you think this release represents your current direction..
I’m influenced by bands such as Candlemass, Black Sabbath, and My Dying Bride. I believe this album and especially this song fits the genre perfectly
What piece of music advice forever changed your way of thinking?
Never make music thinking you are going to be a “Rock Star”. Make music for yourself and maybe 20 years later and 20 albums later you may accidentally make it. I heard this from an interview from Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree). If you never hold your hopes high you will never be disappointed and you will enjoy making music better. Plus your music will be much better. Less pressure. I know that you should always follow your dreams but to dream of being a metal musician as your full time job is basically following a nightmare.
The music business…
especially for the metal genre is a very difficult market. Being an unsigned artist I do shop my albums around in hopes that a reputable record label will bite. I have also learned how to take the DIY approach. Building contact lists, sending emails and building relationships and it has served me will for press releases, album reviews, and radio play.
Being a musician today is a great thing if you’re willing to not take it seriously. Many people I know in their 40’s spent decades thinking they’re going to “make it” and are left with no career, no education, and barely able to survive. I love to create music because it gives me an outlet. It’s very time consuming, it’s very constructive and therapeutic.

Decades ago when Manhattanites referred to a “bridge and tunnel crowd”, they simply meant commuters, but now they refer pejoratively to suburbanites of lesser social or cultural sophistication. “Gettin’ The Band Back Together”, a new musical about the reunion of a New Jersey high school rock band, celebrates “bridge and tunnel” and with a smile on its face gives the middle finger to elitists, many of whom will likely label this folksy, sometimes offensive, unoriginal production, a “bridge and tunnel musical.”
The heart of “Gettin’ the and Back Together” is in the right place: its theme is the restoration of the dreams of youth. When the single, just turned 40 (read mid-life crisis) Mitch Papadopoulos, native of Sayreville, a suburb stuck in the middle of nondescript northern central New Jersey, gets fired from his Manhattan stockbrokerage firm, he returns home to live with his mother, Sharon, former groupie, known to Mitch’s friends for her Rice Krispie bars. Mitch had a garage band when he was in high school, but gave up his dream of rock stardom for the stable, money-making job. Mitch learns his mother’s house is being foreclosed by his arch-rival and high school nemesis Tygen Billows, now rock star who has built a real estate fortune from his commercial success in the music biz. Mitch reassembles the band with Bart, now a high school teacher (for whom Mitch’s mother has maintained a special affection over the years), Robbie, a dermatologist, and Sully, a local cop. The lead guitarist died, so Mitch recruits a high school, hip-hop punk, Ricky. To save the house he grew up in, Mitch and his band Juggernaut challenge Tygen’s band Mouthfeel in a Battle of the Bands. Meanwhile, Mitch discovers his high school girlfriend Dani is Tygen’s main squeeze. Each of the other bachelor band members is missing a woman in his life too. When a female character appears for each of them, “Getting’ The Band Back Together” telegraphs immediately where it all ends up.
Producer Ken Davenport (Tony winner for Best Musical Revival for “Once on This Island”) pasted together the predictable plot from a series of improvisational rehearsals by a group of performers and writers called The Grundleshotz. Someone has peppered the book with a lot of inside-baseball jokes about New Jersey geography and suburban culture, rock music and nasty things that happen to Mafia bosses in men’s prison. A stereotype drunk wanders in and out of scenes like a gratuitous nod to substance abuse - a topic that, for a play about the rock business, this musical curiously ignores.
The score, of a bland Broadway-1980s rock mode, is by Mark Allen in his first Broadway outing. The lyrics range from unmemorable to a challenge to forget. In the duet “The Best Day of My Life” Mitch and Dani sing fondly about a high school date at Six Flags where Dani threw up her corn dog in a slurpie cup. There are two distinctive numbers in the second act. The very talented young actor Sawyer Nunes as Ricky leads a clever rap rendition of “Hava Nagila”, when the band gets tricked into playing an Orthodox Jewish wedding by the dastardly Tygen. As Bart, Jay Klaitz, who seem to specialize in roles in rock musicals like "Rock of Ages" and "High Fidelity", hams it up in “Bart’s Confession” where he fesses up to Mitch that Rice Kripsies bars aren’t the only treats he enjoys from Mitch’s mom.
The cast does its job with fierce determination that this is going to be as much fun, damn it, for the audience as it for them. Marilu Henner of "Taxi "sitcom fame who plays Sharon the mom serves Rice Krispie bars to the audience at intermission. Mitchell Jarvis as good guy Mitch shoulders-on through all of it. Brandon Williams as bad guy Tygen mugs and muscles through his part.
Tony-award winning director John Rando, who has managed better material (“Urinteown”, “On the Town”), miraculously keeps it humming along, bit-by-hackneyed bit, using every directorial trick in the book. Chris Bailey, choreographer, is capable of more originality, as he demonstrated last year with “Jerry Springer – The Opera” at The New Group.
A rock musical about New Jersey couldn’t ignore Bruce Springsteen, New Jersey native and the USA’s favorite son of rock n’roll. At one point, Dani, a single-mom waitress, manages to purchase tickets to Springsteen’s sold-out Broadway show, which could cost a month’s wages or more for millions of Americans like her. It’s a sweet moment, but, cynically, belies the real cost of living to working class Americans. Pathetic, too, is how “Gettin’ the Band Back Together” reduces what Springsteen’s poignant song and music say about his Jersey roots and the American state-of-mind to vulgar sitcom with a crappy score.
RANDOM RECORD WORKOUT SEASON 5 Battle 9 Electric Light Orchestra: Face The Music (Side 2) Vs. Bon Jovi: Slippery When Wet (Side 1) Electric Light Orchestra: Face The Music (side 2) The Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) are an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1970, by songwriters/multi-instrumentalists Jeff Lynne and Roy Wood with drummer Bev Bevan. Their music is characterised by a fusion of Beatlesque pop, classical arrangements, and futuristic iconography. After Wood's departure in 1972, Lynne became the band's leader, arranging and producing every album while writing virtually all of their original material. They dabbled in concept albums like Eldorado, but mainly Were just very good at writing catchy, hook laden rock songs, fleshed out with strings and classical orchestral arrangements overdubbed. When I say very good at, I really mean they basically helped create it entirely, almost as a new genre labeled symphonic pop. Complete art in and of it's own right. Elo wanted to write beatles-esqe pop fused with modern and classical flair. Basically a Beethoven/Beatles mash up. It's pretty brilliant if you ask me. 1975's Face The Music is their 5th studio album. Only four tunes (hey, this was the height of 8 track mania after all) and it starts with "Poker" - an almost punky, chunky number. Cool ass keyboard rips and blips. Slows to a mellow jam. It might actually be my favorite on the side. The next cut is "Strange Magic", which is of course the big hit off the album. If there were such a thing as rock theater, then this would undoubtedly fit the bill. And buried on the B side even. That is the strange part! "Down Home Town" is a partial country twanger. Did Dylan write this?! I can see an influence for sure. Even on later bands like the New Mongrels. Dixie land for synthesizers. "One Summer Dream" is a ballad of standard tempo and containing a little weighty (of the phylum Floyd, Pink) build. It doesn't really pan out though, just plateaus. Overall it's two really great tracks with two mediocre ones. Could be worse. One thing is for sure: ELO is badder ass than you think. I am not sure I can accurately and truly draw comparisons. They are true to their namesake, an electric orchestra with synth bliss. ELO certainly has a flair for the appropriate dramatics. Falsetto vocals never sounded better. Bon Jovi: Slippery When Wet (side 1) Bon Jovi is an American rock band from Sayreville, New Jersey. They formed in 1983 and, really are centered around two anchors. Some fans may disagree, but I say TWO because founding member and namesake John Bongiovi AND lead guitarist (and co-songwriter) Richie Sambora really combine, fairly equally in my eyes to create Bon Jovi's signature sound. Sambora left in 2013' but BJ rocks on, even today. The story really begins in 1986. After two moderately successful albums, the group was about to break big. In early 1986 Bon Jovi moved to Vancouver, Canada to record their third album. The band spent six-months recording the new album. The band decided to name the album "Slippery When Wet" after visiting a strip club in Vancouver. On August 16, 1986, Slippery When Wet was released. The album reached number one in U.S., where it spent 8 weeks at number one on the Billboard 200 album chart. The first two singles from the album, "You Give Love a Bad Name" and "Livin' on a Prayer", both reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. Slippery When Wet was named the top selling album of 1987 by Billboard. "Livin' On A Prayer" won an MTV Video Music Award for Best Stage Performance. For that year at least, you couldn't get away from Bon Jovi even if you wanted to...that is until Geffen unleashed Guns 'n Roses on the world (and thank God for that!) And they kicked them off the charts. Anyhow, Bon Jovi waste no time, starting right off with "Let It Rock". They do exactly that. Boisterous and massive attack keyboard and a calculated intro track. It immediately demonstrates JBJ's vocal range. You get style, solos and hair. Next up is a fan fave, "You Give Love A Bad Name". EVERYONE knows this radio jam. It was practically a theme song of 1987. You are singing it right now, aren't you? Ok, well if you said no, you are lying to yourself and you ARE singing it right now. Who doesn't shout along to the chorus!?!? No one, that's who. As it that were not enough, they keep at it with "Livin' On A Prayer". Another chart buster in the hard luck "Jack and Diane" type story. So much pain in song form. "Social Disease" is actually the only real WTF moment on the album. Obvious filler. Is it possible to earn negative stars??! This tune is just plain corny. "Wanted Dead or Alive" is the other big one. It shows diversity of the band and is actually an excellent example of a great power ballad and story telling song. Sambora really shines bright here. I have a funny/embarrassing story about this song. 100% true, forever (like three years after it's release even) I thought they were saying "Meadow of Life" instead, and it always made me scratch my head why, but I though: "well, he's a cowboy on a steel horse, so I guess they ride through meadows...so yeah." No. Joke. Anyhow, it was a big breakthrough album for the NJ boys. It is riff-centric radio rock and every bit of it great. Super prodced, but it helped make Bon Jovi a household name, and acid washed denim clad teen girls melt in the streets at the mere mention of the name. I first heard of them through my sister, and more specifically the large poster on her bedroom wall. I was still enjoying my Fat Boys records at the time. At least until I heard Guns 'N Roses (#lifechanging). Good news for JBJ fans: On October 5, 2017, Bon Jovi was listed as a nominee for the 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductions... Stay tuned!! So ELO faced the music and burned 136 calories in 18 minutes over 4 songs. They earned 8 out of 12 possible stars. That is a pretty impressive 34 calories burned per song and 7.56 calories per minute. Bon Jovi made me both slippery AND wet (with sweat you pervs) while They burned 175 calories over 23 minutes and 5 songs. They earned 10 out of 15 possible stars. That is 35 calories burned per song and 7.61 calories per minute. Looks like the BJ's win..high fives all around! Listen for yourself!
Ο Jon πήγε στο λύκειο St. Joseph, στο Metuchen του New Jersey. Αργότερα μεταφέρθηκε στο λύκειο Sayreville War Memorial του New Jersey!
Ο Jon συνεργάστηκε με τις μπάντες: The Rest, The Lechers και με τους: John Bongiovi και Wild Ones!
Το 1980 όταν ο Meco βρισκόταν στο στούντιο του ξάδερφου του, Tony Bongiovi και ηχογραφούσε το τραγούδι Christmas in the Stars ο Tony σύστησε τον Jon για το τραγούδι ”R2-D2 We Wish You A Merry Christmas”
youtube
youtube
Τότε ο Jon σε συνεννόηση με τους Richie Sambora, David Bryan, Tico Torres και Alec John Such αποφάσισαν να φτιάξουν την δική τους μπάντα!
To 1989 σταματώντας στο Λος Άντζελες στα πλαίσια του New Jersey tour ο Jon πήγε κρυφά ταξίδι στο Λας Βέγκας και παντρεύτηκε την αγαπημένη του από το λύκειο Dorothea Hurley τον Απρίλιο του 1989 στο Graceland Wedding Chapel του Λας Βέγκας!

Today--March 2--is singer Jon Bon Jovi's birthday. I've been intent on publishing my January 19, 1984, phone interview with him for a long, long time, but I just cannot locate the original print version of the story to accompany it, so today I am throwing up my hands and we'll just go with the audio. At the time of this interview, Bon Jovi was a hard-working, fast-rising Jersey Shore band that made itself media accessible and media friendly. The guys frequently played baseball against local radio station DJs as they toured the country, generating good feelings and lots of extra spins of their debut record.
JON BON JOVI podcast excerpt: "My mom is a florist; my dad is a hairdresser. They always said, 'Do whatever makes you happy.' They knew I wanted this; there was a lot of of support."
I remember being struck by how nice Jon was in this interview and how surprised I was to discover his hometown was Sayreville, NJ. I grew up a short drive away in North Brunswick. He asked if I know any Bongiovis in North Brunswick--particularly Joe and Nanette. He also mentioned time spent at the then Boy Scouts of America Museum in my hometown. One other note about this interview: for years I carried around boxes and boxes of rock star interviews I conducted in the mid-1980s. Many, recorded on high-end brand name cassette tape, failed to hold up to the ravages of time and Florida weather. The ones recorded on cheap tape--Hello, Realistic!--seemed to do better. No one knew then there would one day be an Internet were all such things would have a second life.
JON BON JOVI podcast excerpt: "Ron Diaz at (Tampa Bay radio station) YNF was the biggest supporter before I ever had a record deal."
Anyway, two friends inspired me to recover this and dozens of other lost interviews. First was my friend Dean Hendrix, himself a musician. Second--particularly for this Jon Bon Jovi interview--was my neighbor, Lori Crotts. One day, I was visiting with Lori about some school matter and I saw some Bon Jovi memorabilia on her desk, including a photo of her and Jon, I believe. Turns out, she became a late fan of the band and had been catching up, attending as many of their concerts as possible, meeting the boys in the band backstage several times. This happily married, mother of three, and beloved pillar of the community, worked hard and, as her reward, treated herself to Bon Jovi concerts whenever possible. I told Lori about this interview and offered to find it for her. I took too long, as it turned out. Unfortunately, soon thereafter, Lori was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and never got to hear this restored conversation. She died on January 31, 2013. (Read more about Lori here.) That's why, I'm dedicating this to a fine woman and the biggest Bon Jovi fan I've ever known.
