Haven't seen them in any cut scenes yet, including Lae'zel's first sex scene. So at this point, Lae'zel is the only person who knows what genitals my character has.

Star Colonel Jehan MacKenzie identifies as male, but mostly cause none of the other labels he's looked at seem to fit any better. Gender's not particularly important to him, and he's honestly likely to make "I identify as a warrior" jokes unironically.

2. Jehan is also effectively, pansexual. He grew up in a Clan Sibko. And the Clans don't particularly care about orientation or gender. As far as he's concerned genitalia are, if not the least important aspect of attraction, at least rather far down the list.

as for the canonicity of Astra's Demo....that's up for debate, honestly. Astra's Demo is primarily my own test of my capabilities, to see what all I can do. I wanted to see...what I could make with twinery.org.

As Astra is meant to be the reader, that leaves a lot of things up for interpretation. Astra is a clay doll brought to life with magic. They use any pronouns, they don't have any genitalia, they don't even have a sexual orientation unless a route is picked to go on, and even THEN, the dialogue is intentionally open ended to be either romantic or platonic.

I guess you could say Astra is...schrodinger's homosexual? Nothing is mentioned at ALL regarding Astra's clothing, looks, pronouns, or sexual orientation. And that MIGHT be a case of lazy writing. I'm open to genuine constructive criticism when the game-thing is done and released. I mean, you wouldn't criticize the taste of a cake that hasn't even been baked yet, right? You can lick the spoon of cake batter, which is what the teasers I've posted in the past are.
