I'm assuming you reblogged the 'send me a character' thing with intent, so I will ask about. Cyclonus! please : 3
ye ye! I guess I'll refer to G1 (cartoon) Cyclonus by large
favorite thing about them: the most nuanced bitch this side of the cartoon! Decepticons constantly pull themselves down by only looking out for themselves and being conniving little shits to each other instead of only their enemies (and that's the point) but here you have a complete inversion, a Decepticon (second-in-command, no less) who is LOYAL. not only loyal, but selfless, by their standards?? nothing matters to Cyclonus beyond Galvatron, the Decepticon cause, and combat. he should be a force of nature but is rendered inert by an incapable leader because he just wants to follow. He's a warrior first and foremost but he gets to basically be in charge and isn't dumb muscle, e.g. he knows psychology (or at least how to work a crowd). Cyclonus is one year old and yet feels like he personally met Roman gladiators or something, he's great. A character of visible, textual multitudes in the G1 cartoon, which was notoriously allergic to nuance
least favorite thing about them: bro, the character assassination, like in Headmasters anime or the comics. I know by and large the Decepticons are dumb as hell, but I get like personally offended when chars are just dumbed the hell down for the sake of a joke or to facilitate the plot. If you have to do that, just pick more-fitting character or come up with a justification, fr. you'd think watching G1 five times in a row would inoculate me to this, but no. (for the record, his weird amplified cowardice I'm counting as stupidity) This doesn't apply to like, gag manga, that's the whole point of them
least favorite thing about them pt 2: that last answer felt like cheating so I guess while I like both demon and final designs, I hate how held back his final design is! I joke about the Unicronian legs being fine af, but he had curvier legs and they took them away. His neck is blank and featureless, so is his face. He looks fine this way, but there were so many interesting details they could have kept even when making him look more uniform with previous character designs. I guess I can thank AKOM for once, for letting us see his old design in motion lol
favorite (serious) line: damn. if I gotta pick? I guess for characterization: [out of breath] "It has been too long since I had an opponent that was worthy of my FULL attention..." or alternatively, "Galvatron...!" said like Roger C. Carmel is crying in the sound booth purely just for the line delivery
favorite (silly) line: "Everybody's gotta be somewhere..." [casually waltzes past a guy Scourge just roundhoused through a screen]
brOTP: I used to joke that Cyclonus and Scourge are at most drinking buddies to me, and I learned that's literally how they met in IDW
OTP: G1? CycMags. The rituals are intricate. It's about the symmetry. Two second-in-commands, more competent than their not-up-to-the-task leaders, the Soldier and the Warrior. They pointedly unname each other. They get petty when they're in the same space together. Cyclonus saved Ultra Magnus' life so that he could end it himself. He's sure he'll win but is perfectly open to Magnus ending him. Cyclonus views him as an equal, and despite the attempts on each other's lives, that is what makes it healthier than...
NOTP: Cyclonus/Galvatron. he's down so bad but it's obviously one-sided. he can do MUCH better, he just doesn't want to. Cyclonus won't consider any other options...... unless
random headcanon: he's prone to parroting. if someone uses a particular word or phrase, he'll use it in a sentence soon after, and phrased exactly the same way too. then it just becomes part of Cyclonus' vocabulary forever. which is how you get a guy who uses words like "vanquish" and "insolent" also saying things like "wimps" and "losers"
unpopular opinion: I'm so not with the silly ear interpretation of his horns. It's cute, and I'll make some jokey references to it, or have characters refer to them as such (derisively) but I'm insistent that they're horns. He's based off a demon, the Unicronians are clearly made in Unicron's image, they're horns. I'm a bigger fan of the wings swiveling up and down
song i associate with them: this is more of a song for all the Unicronians as a group, but I just like this one
youtube
favorite picture of them: there's some silly ones I already shared but I might as well pick one he looks really good in
Tumblr media
in short: I like the him a normal, healthy amount

Alright, so I absolutely adore your blog, this is a ship I never before knew I needed but will now hold onto with my gremlin hands for dear life. I do have a request if you don’t mind: I think it would be hilarious if Scourge not only picks up on all the new swear words and rude gesture of Fleetway Sonic’s Zone, but also starts talking with a bit of a British accent (which he’ll deny until his very last breath). What if he somehow has a run-in with either the Prime Zone FF or his old team? How would they react? Thank you and have an amazing week!
I saw this ask, thought about the prompt for approximately three seconds, and immediately started stimming bc I love this so much. Welcome to rarepair hell! I'd give you a welcome jacket but our budget is tight this year, so I hope answering your request will be suitable compensation
~~~
To say that Scourge was pissed was an understatement to say the least.
Random warp portals weren't common in Sonic's dimension, and when they did appear most of them led to the Special Zone or, in rarer cases, that weird mirror dimension Sonic told him about. Very, very occasionally, one would open to the Cosmic Highway, but it happened so infrequently that by the time one finally manifested for the first time since Scourge got stuck in the new dimension, neither he nor Sonic were interested in him leaving.
But the universe - or, more specifically, the multiverse - had it out for him, so of course one opened right under his fucking feet when he and Sonic were play fighting sparring.
And of course it dropped him into the fucking Prime universe, because fuck Scourge the Hedgehog and his desire to stay a billion miles away from one of the most irritating dimensions he had ever had the displeasure of being in.
So yeah, pissed off was an understatement.
The only upside to getting dumped in the Prime universe was it was much easier to get onto the Cosmic Highway. From there all Scourge had to do was avoid the cops as he made his way back; although he had no intention of leaving permanently, he had left Sonic's dimension before, albeit mostly out of necessity to avoid the Zone Cops, so he knew how to get back. Apparently it was much easier to get in than it was to get out. Not surprising considering it was the home dimension for a destructive being made of corrupted chaos energy.
Still, it meant Scourge had to breathe the same air as the Prime mobians, so already his day was ruined.
"Stupid warp portals," Scourge muttered, kicking a nearby tree as he walked. "Fucking ruining my damn day, dumping me in this shitty perfect dimension with their shitty angelic hero, of fucking course this happens to me, let's fuck over Scourge's day by making him sneak around in a universe he doesn't even want to be in. What's next? Running into the Freedom-"
"Scourge?"
... Him and his big fucking mouth.
"Fuck off," Scourge snarled at Prime without bothering to turn around. "I'm not here for you."
"Never expected you to be back so soon," Prime grinned, intercepting Scourge's path. The words were casual, and to an outsider he seemed relaxed, but Scourge could see the tension in his shoulders and the way he was coiled to spring into a fight. "I thought you'd need at least six more months to lick your wounds, but hey, if you're that eager to get your ass handed to you again-"
"I said fuck off." See, that was exactly why Scourge couldn't fucking stand Prime. He always waltzed around acting like a hero, pretending to be some kind of fucking angel, when deep down he was no better than Scourge. Beating robots and "bad guys" into the dirt one minute, smiling innocently at his friends the next like he didn't just enjoy kicking the shit out of someone. He was just so fake and he somehow got a perfect life for it. And then he wondered why Scourge wanted to punch him until he'd dragged all the nasty shit Prime pretended didn't exist to the surface for everyone to see.
Actually, everyone would still probably ignore and excuse all the nasty shit. Because Prime was perfect and a hero and could do no wrong, and he always had people on his side in the end. Fuck, why did Scourge ever want to take over this shitty little dimension? Everyone would piss him off in five minutes with their hero worship, and no amount of beating them into submission would make him feel better. No fucking wonder he preferred Sonic's dimension. Sonic was an ass, but at least he didn't hide it, and his fans just had to get over it. The hero worship was still annoying, but nowhere near as bad as the Prime dimension.
"So you can cause trouble the second my back's turned? Yeah, I'll pass."
Don't punch him, Scourge. If you punch him you'll be stuck in this dimension longer, and then the cops could show up, and there's no team to bail your ass out. Don't fucking punch him, no matter how much he deserves it.
"I don't even want be here" Scourge hissed, balling his hand into a fist. Fuck, he hoped there was a mission or fight going on when he got back, because he really needed to punch something. Sonic would probably help him find a fight if there wasn't one already; it had been too quiet recently, and he was itching for trouble and excitement. "Some shitty portal dumped me here, okay? It was a fucking accident. I don't have any plans or plots this time. I just want to get out and go home."
"Yeah? Where's home? I know you've not been in Moebius."
"None of your business!" Fucking Zonic the Zone Snitch. "I'm not fucking doing anything wrong, so just piss off and let me get out of your shitty little dimension so I can-"
Scourge cut himself off. Prime had stopped grinning sharply at him. Although he was still on guard, his face had relaxed slightly, and he was tilting his head and staring at Scourge like he was trying to figure out a puzzle.
"What?"
"Nothing."
"The fuck do you mean nothing? What are you staring at me for!"
"Nothing. I just... I didn't know you have an accent."
... What?
"The fuck are you talking about? I don't have an accent." Sure, hearing his own accent come from someone else again after so long in Sonic's dimension was a little weird, but Scourge's accent never changed. Sonic would never let him live it down if it had.
But Prime was shaking his head and pointing at him. "Yeah, see, right there when you said 'fuck'. You said it different."
"No I didn't! I don't say anything different!"
"You do! Sometimes, at least. It's faint, but sometimes random words just have a little bit of an accent." He frowned at Scourge. "Where did you say you were staying, again?"
"Like I'd tell you." Trying to distract him with the accent bullshit so he'd give up his hiding place, huh? That was almost clever. Almost. Unfortunately for Prime, Sonic was way smarter, and it hadn't taken Scourge long to pick up on a few of his tricks. "Look, just because you expect weird shit to happen to people every other Tuesday-"
Scourge slapped his hand over his mouth the second the words came out, but it was too late. The mistake was made, and Prime's confused expression morphed into one of delight.
"Chewsday?"
"Shut up!" That was it. He wasn't going to look for a fight when he got back, he was going to wring Sonic's fucking neck. This was not happening to him. Not Tuesday, of all words, after all that time following Sonic around and mockingly repeating it's chewsday, innit. "Not one fucking word, Prime, I swear to fuck-"
"Say it again," Prime demanded, leaning in uncomfortably close.
"Get the fuck away from me-"
"Come on, say it again!"
Scourge grit his teeth and tried to dart around Prime, but Prime leapt on him, pinning him to the ground with a disturbing sparkle in his eyes.
"Get off me!"
"Not until you say it again!"
For fucks sake. Was this really what the (ex) King of Moebius had been reduced to?
"Tuesday," he forced out through gritted teeth, correctly.
"No no, that's not how you said it. You said chewsday. Say it again."
"I didn't say shit! You just heard it wrong. It's fucking Tuesday. Now get off of me, you fucking asshole, I-"
"Ass, too! You say ass different, too! You definitely have an accent."
"No the fuck I don't! Even if I did, why would you care?"
Prime shrugged. "I don't. It's just interesting. I like hearing different accents, and I didn't know you have one. I thought everyone on Moebius talks like we do."
"They do! We do!"
"Then where'd you get the accent from?"
Oh no, not fucking likely. Prime couldn't trick him that easily. "Prime. Get the fuck off me. Right now."
"Aww, Prime? What's with the multiverse titles? Surely you don't hate my name that much." Prime's eyes gleamed. "Or do you say Sonic differently, too?"
Scourge glowered up at him. It wasn't that. It was just easier to separate Sonic from all the other Sonics if he didn't use the same name for all of them. Plus Sonic would probably kick him if he tried to call him anything but his name, and it was his dimension, so he was the Sonic that got name privileges.
"I say it like I always do," Scourge said at last. "Now get off. I want out of here and you want me out of here. Keeping me here is lose-lose."
"Then why won't you just use my name?" Prime smirked at him. "C'mon, show me how you say Sonic and I'll let you up. Promise."
Scourge was so, so incredibly tempted to just spit in his face instead. But fuck, he didn't want to start a fight and stay in this dimension longer than he had to. Sonic's universe was 4,242 miles away from his own (roughly, at least; dimensions tended to shift for some reason, so it could easily jump to over 5,000 miles without warning) so it was probably a similar distance from the Prime universe, and although that wasn't far he couldn't run at top speed the whole time without attracting the attention of the Zone Cops. The distance combined with being forced to slow down and be somewhat stealthy already meant he was in for a long journey on the Cosmic Highway, and the last thing he wanted was to get into a fight that would exhaust him and make it take even longer.
"Sonic," he spat out. It felt wrong. This wasn't Sonic. Sonic was in a different universe, probably harassing his friends or kicking ass as he waited for Scourge to drag his ass back. "Sonic, get the fuck off so I can get out of your shitty dimension."
Prime looked a little disappointed - even though he knew how Scourge said his name, damn it - but true to his word he got off, even held out a hand to help Scourge up, which Scourge pointedly ignored. He was still a wanted criminal, after all, there was no way Prime wouldn't take the first opportunity he had to hand him over to the cops.
"Was that so hard?" Prime said as Scourge got up and dusted off his jacket. "Really, I don't see what the big deal is. It's just an accent. I think it sounds kinda cool-"
Scourge punched him in the face as hard as he could and fled.
***
"What took you so long?" Sonic asked when Scourge finally got back hours later. His fur was ruffled and his gloves were dusty like he'd just gotten out of a fight and hadn't had the chance to shower yet. Motherfucker. "What, did you forget you can run at the speed of sound?"
"Shut up," Scourge muttered, deliberately bumping into Sonic so the tea he was holding spilled onto him, and flopped onto the couch, burying his face in the cushions. "I hate you and your stupid accent."
"Suck it up. So where'd you end up?"
Scourge lifted his head. "If you ever have to choose between death or visiting the Prime universe, pull the trigger."
Sonic snorted, lightly thwacking him upside the head. "Dramatic arsehole. That bad?"
"I almost forgot how much of a dick Prime is. Fuck, he's just such a twat, I don't know why people can't see that."
"'Cause they're morons," Sonic said, then paused and grinned down at him. "Hey, you said 'twat' right this time. Looks like you're finally learning."
...
Who's a freedom fighter / Archie character in general that you think is very underutilized in fan works, and is there a particular fan work that utilizes them well you'd REALLY wish more people would check out?
Okay, full disclosure, the main reason I haven't gotten around to answering this one for so long is largely embarrassment. The truth is that I actually don't interact with that many fanworks, and for the bulk of my internet experience I never have. I did in the very beginning*, but my experiences taught me early on that fandoms are fucking aggressive and the internet is more fun if I stick to my own little sandbox -- hence why so much of what I post about here is RP stuff, because it's quiet and secluded and not available for public scrutiny without consent. Unfortunately, the period in my life where I DID still interact broadly with fanworks was when I was still mostly a DBZ nerd, so that's where the bulk of my fan experience lies. The only Sonic-related fanfic I can even remember off the top of my head in significant detail is a story called "Capture the Flag" from like 1998. Hopefully that story still exists out there somewhere, because DAMN it was good. I know I have a ye olde print-out of it somewhere in an ancient folder of various other internet print-outs stored away as a window to my past.
Anyway, even if I don't interact that much with fanworks, I still like reading fan discourse, so maybe that counts to some degree? This is something that I also learned a while ago can fucking burn me if I get too close to the heat, but I haven't been burned so hard that I'm not willing to take a peek through binoculars every once in a while. I think it's safe to say that there's tons of discussion surrounding the main characters (Sonic and Tails and the usual game-centric cast) and the most popular characters (Elias and Scourge and... shit what's that platypus dude's name from IDW, you know who I'm talking about), but there are some very interesting ones out there that are extremely interesting in ways that aren't immediately obvious but that get a shamefully low amount of attention.
I don't think it'd surprise anyone for me to use Wes Weasley as an example, as I feel like I'm probably the one leading more discussions of this guy than anyone, but there are others. Uncle Chuck is another one that comes to mind quickly for me; he's an incredibly complex character even though he's secondary to the plot in SatAM, but those handful of moments where we do get to see him still speak a lot. There's a TON of showing-not-telling done with his portrayal and I fucking love it! But when you shift over to the Archie depiction his character, in my opinion, gets a lot more flat. I don't think they do a bad job with him exactly, just that they don't do enough of a job. Then you look at a character like Breezie, who actually has kind of the opposite effect going on; as far as non-main characters in AoStH go she had more staying power than most, and they DID try to give us a few insights into a more complex portrayal, but overall she still lacked depth. Then, decades later (god I'm old) when she got added to the Archie comics, we got to see a MUCH more well-rounded version of who she could be, and it was great! But she and Wes and Uncle Chuck largely just kind of sit on the sidelines of the fan--
STARLINE, THAT WAS THAT GUY'S NAME
--of the fandom. I won't say no one's talking about them, but I can definitely say that discussions of them sure haven't been hitting my dashboard. Maybe I'll start some discussions of my own, just because these guys (along with others) deserve that level of attention.
*by “beginning” I mean both “the beginning of my experiences with the internet” and, for the most part, “the beginning of the internet.” I WASN’T KIDDING WHEN I SAID I’M FUCKING OLD, YOUNG PUPS.
Hello! I’m your Klaroline Swap gifter👀 I am sorry it's taken me this long to reach out but I've finally gotten to it! I am excited to be writing for you and wanted to ask a few questions about your gift. Wanted to know about your all-time favorite tropes and side pairings? Any Caroline friendships you like? Any tropes or pairings you don't like? Any pet peeves with KC fic? Any smut preferences? Anything you especially want to see or any info you'd like me to know? Hope you have a great day!💖
Heyyy!! Thank you for sending me this ask, and please don't apologize, it’s all good 💖 I hope you're having a great day too! So I’ll just jump in and answer all your questions ✌🏾✨
I am so so sorry it got this long, like so long, I really tried to condense it, but I have no concept of short and concise so now I have to put this below a cut 😭🙃😭
All time favourite tropes:
[see here's the thing I dont exactly *know* what tropes are so I'm just gonna yeet a bunch of HIGHLY specific prompt-thingies that make me tingle at you and you can do w them what you wish- like take out certain parts you want to use, or base other tropes off of them anything you wish really, even if you choose to ignore all of them I won't be holding it against you dw!]
Ok so I love love the "I was just captured by the bad guys and very harshly uh demanded to sell you out, but I didnt, bc even though I might posture like you’re the scourge of the earth and would gladly see you dead, I in fact, do not want you dead and will therefore not be selling you out and will handle mild -emphasis on mild please do not hurt either of my babies too much- torture instead and oops! look at that, you just overheard this exact exchange where I stand my ground and refuse to betray you, and now you’ve gone feral over your loyalty kink and are spouting promises of never letting go of me, which honestly I cannot bring myself to be mad at."
I love love love the forced bedsharing trope which then leads to accidental cuddling, where one party [caroline] is just very very annoyed that their body sought the warmth of a cockroach fucknugget being [klaus] and the fucknugget party is just very very smug about being the other party's personal space heater, and nuzzles them and cuddles tighter and asdfghjkl I'm getting tingly just thinking about it, and like says w a husky sleepy voice “don't move” and cuddles closer. jfc please I’m a basic bitch with very basic wants.
I absolutely LOVE the "we work on opposite enemy sides, but now we have to band together to defeat one common enemy and honestly I am NOT glad that I constantly wanna throw you against a wall, and not all reasons for said wall-throwing are strictly to inflict violence on you."
I also LOVE the "fuck youre bleeding/hurt/injured and fucking hell I dont know why my hands are shaking while I attend to your wounds but god it is, and now I'm not sure exactly how deep you've furrowed into my heart and stuck yourself there like a dickheaded leech."
Now I feel like I have given you many tropes, but I also feel like i didnt in fact help you at all, bc I'm not sure these are uh tropes?? but anyway those are some highly specific...scenes?? I have a very deep bias for
[you obviously dont HAVE to write ANY of them if you dont want to]
And also if I had to give you a clear cut trope to follow, I absolutely LOVE the enemies-to tentative allies-to lovers trope, in which one party is just working really really hard to get to the lovers part, and the other is working really really hard not to get to the lovers part, but caves later on, bc really the fucker grows on you. [Featuring Klaus as the "high key besotted already pursuing Caroline"-person, and Caroline is the "I am very very annoyed w this wooing, but I am more annoyed this wooing is working"-person. And also, I like my Klaus E V I L, But really really really *soft* for Caroline.]
Also if by tropes you meant settings, Like AU's, literally anything works, I have a personal bias for Crime AU's when it comes to enemies to lovers, and Canon is the ultimate enemies to lovers AU, but honestly you can use which ever one you want, I am not entirely sure myself if I have a specific preference here, AH, Fantasy, Supernatural, Scifi, it's all good.
[I however am not extremely fond of Historical Settings]
Again you are not required to follow any of these tropes at all if you don't wish to, I just require you to have a lot of fun writing and love the beauty you write yourself first!
Side pairings:
Ok I LOVE me some Kennett [kol + bonnie] but I also LOVEEE kolenzo [Kol and Enzo], I also am extremely just *heart eyes* at Bonenzo [Bonnie + enzo], but I absolutely DIE for Kennettzo [which is OT3 of Kol Bonnie and Enzo]
Kalijah is also a-ok w me, and I feel like I dont have any other side pairings I'd like die to see I guess. If you choose not to go with these side pairings its perfectly alright.
Caroline Friendships:
Ok this I can answer without rambling like an idiot, I love love love love :
Bonnie + Caroline [like i love this so much it physically hurts me, they both deserve so so so much better]
Kol + Caroline [I will literally touch a frog, and I have a phobia of frogs, to have one full conversation w these two idiots]
Enzo + Caroline [Honestly enzoline brotp makes me wanna sob happy tears bc they are so perfect together]
Katherine + Caroline + Rebekah [bad bitch meets head bitch meets super bitch, what could possibly go wrong]
Tropes and Pairings I dont like:
NOTPS:
Kolvina, stebekah, delena, stelena, datherine, steferine, Haylijah, Marcel+Rebekah, Matt+Rebekah, Bamon, Kai+bonnie, beremy.
And I think that's about it? mostly I just hate elena stefan damon and hayley and I am not fond of them w anyone, I hate all canon Rebekah relationships, and I dont like seeing Bonnie with anyone other than enzo or kol.
Tropes:
I am totally not fond of the Kill Liz for plot reasons trope, like seriously killing Caroline's mom is not ok w me, but I am totes fine if she's like already dead as part of Caroline's backstory, just don't show me Liz dying in the story as a part of the plot.
Any form of sire-bond-y or like sire-bond adjacent or like any form of deal/bargain/agreement that gives Klaus even a tiniest bit of power over Caroline's free will and choices, is just not for me, like at all, no matter how well it's done, I can't stand it.
not fond of any form of prisoner/hostage tropes, like klaus kidnapping caroline or caroline kidnapping klaus and holding each other hostage and stuff like that.
Death as a plot point doesnt work for me? and really I'd prefer if there were no major character deaths at all.
Friends to lovers trope is not for me, childhood friends to lovers trope is definitely not for me.
I don't like any sort of redemption arc really, anything that starts with Klaus as a “bad” dude and ends with him being a relatively “good” dude is not for me.
Any form of infidelity, like ofc especially in between Klaus and Caroline is just [shudder] hard pass, but like I also hate it when Caroline or Klaus cheat on anybody at all.
Also all the tropes and like themes I'm not comfy w that I mentioned in my original Gift Request still stand.
KC Pairing Pet peeves
ok This I can answer easily bc I have like a FEW,
I hate a woobified Klaus so much, like so much, I hate all TO!Klaus characterizations but this one is the worst, absolutely not here for it, I am not here to feel sorry for this mf I want to feel really deliriously GIDDY at how evil he is and how whipped he is for Caroline, but like concentrating on Klaus's manpain is not something I really wanna read.
Caroline excusing Klaus's bullshit, or like being a push over-y “it's ok, I understand why you did it” person is not for me, bc she never was one to begin w, she never did rationalize or justify Klaus's behaviour, she always held him accountable and told him what a difficult son of a bitch he is every chance she got.
I don't like arcs where Caroline is Klaus's redemption? like Caroline bringing Klaus into the "light" or whatever I am not here for it, like at all, I like Klaus staying evil while being endlessly in love with Caroline, and Caroline being able to be w a man she knows is a selfish evil ruthless grade A asshole, but will literally also choke himself to death for Caroline, cuz the man is whipped as fuck.
I also absolutely am not a fan of arcs where like Caroline remains "pure" or whatever, like that's just not for me, I am totally fine, actually MORE than fine for ruthless Caroline who is willing to do deplorable shit to get to her goal and protect her people, like Caroline being extremely almost evilly pragmatic just gives me a boner, and pretty sure gives Klaus one too. Klaus "protecting" Caroline's so called innocence is uh off putting for me personally. And her remaining this pure white light princess of good and Klaus being attracted to the *good* in her is um, nope.
Smutty Preferences
Honestly I’m very easy when it comes to smut [and u totally dont have to write me any if you dont want to]
I do not like:
non con/dub con, anal sex, Strict and/or elaborate Bdsm themes, [light undertones are ok], drunk sex, sex that’s basically infidellity [like caroline/klaus cheating on someone else w each other] , gagging, choking, Extremely rough emotionless sex, sex as a bargain, or as a part of a bargain.
Smut preferences:
I like reading oral sex, especially Klaus going down on Caroline
light bondage like being tied up [either Klaus/Caroline I enjoy both]
Sex toys are really really good, like love reading Klaus using one on Caroline, or Caroline using one on herself and Klaus watching
I do have a special love for praise kink, especially Klaus being really just in awe of Caroline during the do and expressing it uninhibitedly
Dirty Talk is GREAT
I enjoy both Klaus and Caroline in a dominant role, but I usually love it when both of them share the dominance equally, I’m just not into “Yes master” and “Yes mistress” level of dominance. I guess the word I’m looking for is Vanilla dominance lmao.
Bloodplay is also great if they're vampires.
And Klaus and Caroline leaving marks on each other is *swoon*.
I love reading possessive!klaus and possessive!caroline in equal measure so really your choice.
Hot and Dirty sex with a an undercurrent of emotion and devotion, want and need and all that nice stuff is great!
But I do have a list of words I’m not really a big fan of coming across when I’m reading smut:
Any word for vagina that’s not wetness, or folds or lips, is squicky, cunt is not a problem, pussy however is squick.
Clit is clit; little nub, bundle of nerves, all of that makes the med student in me really anxious lmao.
Any word for Cock that’s not cock is squick.
Juices, cream, semen are squicky, I just prefer come or release.
Ok these are seemingly innocent words but moist, engorged, gaping, drooling, sopping are not words I like seeing in context of smut.
So yeah that’s about it, I know hi, it’s been what, eleventy bajillion years since the beginning of this ask, I am so so so sorry for being this difficult, and really, LIKE SERIOUSLY, except for my squicks you are more than welcome to just skip past everything else, since I’m not really that hard to please, as long as the no-no’s are not there in what I read and the dynamic I asked for is even just vaguely followed I will be really really really happy and really I just want you to have fun writing whatever you feel like cooking up, I’m superrrr excited to see your interpretation of my request!!!
[Also Please please send me another ask clarifying you got my answer and also telling me I haven't frightened you with this long ass rambling list of okay’s and no-no’s bc honestly I am just anxiously debating if I should answer this ask like this or yeet half of it and vaguely rewrite the answer.]
Hope you have a great day lovely!! I am once again sorry for being this difficult. ✨💖🤝🏾
Hello! Sorry this may seem like a weird request! But could you give some of your Scourge Headcanons? I haven't seen much bout the trash boy in a while and I was wondering if you'd be happy to talk about him for a while! Like, how does he react to good/bad things? What comforts him? What makes him genuinely happy? I love seeing Headcanons about him! Thanks! :000
 I AM ALWAYS DOWN TO TALK ABOUT TRASHBOY
Gosh, it’s been a while, but here’s a few!
~’Good and bad things’ is kind of vague, but if things are going his way, he tends to take the credit for it, and if things go badly, he blames others. When he’s up, he does a lot of laughing and teasing of people, and he generally has a happier attitude. He doesn’t want anyone to see him when he feels bad, as he thinks it destroys his tough-guy image if anyone sees him shaking or crying. He’s got walls a mile high, but if you know where to pick at them, they’re about the strength of peanut brittle.
~He’s comforted by music, or physical activity. He listens to a lot of pop music, actually, and he hates classical because his house often had it on and he associates it with being lonely.
~He’s genuinely happy when… well, when he’s on top, but he’s always a little worried someone’s going to kick his throne down, so he’s always a little paranoid too. He likes winning of any kind though, be it at video games or eating contests or actual physical fights. In a redemption arc, he really likes video games and travel.
~Still hold that he hates heights like Sonic hates water, due to my hc on how he killed his dad on accident, not on purpose, by shoving him back a balcony on a rainy day that made everything slippery. (They’re both at least somewhat claustrophobic, though.)
Battle For The Planet of the Apes Part Three
When Worlds Collide,
Rainey walked Jess over to the building where  the holding cells where and picked up the two drifters bags from off the table. Jess opened one up, looking through the bag. Her eyes widened in shock to find a large skull inside of it. An ape skull. She handed it to Rainey as she saw something else and pulled out a poster. It was a wanted poster with a name underneath of it ordered to be captured alive. On it was a young woman with long dark black hair and dark green eyes, who looked to be in her early to late teens. Lily. Who was she?
Jess turned around and walked over to the cells, looking at Willits who was sitting down on the bench.
"I don't think you've been entirely honest with us," Jess frowned. "Cuz, you sure ain't as hell who you say you are." She tossed the ape skull to the man and it rolled ont the floor stopping in front of him. Then she pulled out the wanted poster of Lily, holding it out in front of the two men. "And why are you after this one girl? What did she do to piss you guys off?"
 "Guess it's time we come clean, eh, Oswald? Fact is, we didn't want to scare you guys unnecessarily." Willits said. "But we're, we're what you'd call-"
 "Ape hunters." Reeves finished.
 "You're what?" Rainey questioned.
 "We hunt apes since the flu." Willits replied.
 "Somehow they got out. They got smart, bred like rats. Use guns." Reeves said.
 "Guns?" Rainey asked.
 "Yep." Reeves answered him. "Shoot you real dead too."
"And the girl?" Jess asked.
"We've been tracking her for years since the outbreak broke out. She holds the cure to the simian flu." Jess and Rainey looked at each other before turning back to the two men as Willits continued. "A couple of days ago, we've actually managed to run into her but the apes that she was with interfered. She seemed particularly close to one ape that had blue eyes."
"A human with apes? I don't believe it." Rainey said, frowning.
"Well, believe it. She is living among them. She's probably out there right now. Waiting." Willits told him.
"Waiting for what?" Jess asked.
"Revenge." Reeves replied. "It is her fault that almost most of the human race had died out."
 "Your wound's mighty improved." Jess retorted, looking at the stab wound on Reeve's shoulder. "I'm guessing she must have done it."
 "Oh, yeah. How about that?" Reeves replied. "Guess I'm one of those lucky types. Heals fast."
 "Apes. They are a scourge," Willits said. "They've been heading east. We've been tracking them. See, what we do is we find a tribe -and we rub 'em out. And people, are usually grateful."
 "Surprisingly grateful." Reeves added.
 "So, you knew about these apes," Jess said. "And what else didn't you tell us?"
 "I wouldn't say we knew you had an ape problem," Willits said. "Fact is, we thought you folks might be fine out here."
 "I guess now we've changed our minds about that." Reeves replied.
 "You know what Willits, I don't give a damn about the apes moving east," Jess answered him. "We got a herd to protect, and we can't afford to lose any more cattle or any more men."
 "Yeah, appreciate that vote of confidence, but thing is we don't know how bad your ape problem is, could be a whole army of them out there. And I'm guessing you folks don't have a damn clue what you're gonna face," Willits said. "So for us- come morning, we're turning south."
 "Yeah, you're right we don't have a clue, but maybe you do, so why don't you share what you know, huh?" Jess asked them.
 "Yeah, maybe next time," Willits retorted. "If there is a next time. Your town- none too friendly either. I think you can sort this out."
 "Alright I get it, a couple of punk drifters, all talk." Rainey replied. "Come on, Jess, let's get out of here."
 "Ma'am, Mr. Rainey," Reeves said. "You really want our help, you know what, we'll help. But here's the thing, you need to listen to us and do exactly what we say and when we say it, or more people gonna die."
 "It's your call, Jess." Rainey replied, looking at her.
 "Okay," Jess sighed. "We'll take your help. But let's get one thing straight. You don't call the shots, I do."
 "Thanks." Reeves replied to her.
 "And we'll help you." Willits said. "Not right now. We're going to get some sleep. But, come tomorrow though-we'll track us some apes. Hell, maybe even kill a few." Jess and Rainey walked away, leaving them men in the cells.
 "Y'all shut the door, we're getting a little bit of a draft in here." Willits chuckled.
Bryn, Tola and Juno along with the rest of hunting party apes returned back to the mountain with the cattle that they've killed as they dragged it behind their horses. Several apes greeted them happily as they saw them approach walking inside the cave. Oaka ran over to husband, hugging him. Bryn wrapped his arm around her, and Tola hopped down from his horse and Brutus tore a leg piece from the cattle, carrying with him as he followed the ape. Tola walked up to a small hill with a tree on it, standing on top of it. Brutus threw the leg down on the ground.
"We bring food to our tribe!" Tola shouted.
 "Because of my brother, the tribe will eat!" Bryn shouted.
 "Tonight," Tola said. "And for many nights. We shall feast!" Bryn saw Clarence approach to him and Oaka, slowly. He frowned in suspicion as he looked over at the cattle before turning to Bryn.
 "Bryn," He signed, shaking his head "This is human food. It is not from the mountain. You disobeyed your father."
 "No. This food is good. Bring life to tribe!" Bryn signed as he told him.
  "Clarence- look. Thanks to Bryn and Tola- tribe eats. Without food, there is no tribe." Oaka signed, supporting her husband.
 "You think I don't know what this food means?" Clarence signed.
 "Oaka is right. Tribe must eat or die." Bryn insisted as he signed to the orangutan. Clarence walked away as he headed up to the throne to Khan. Oaka turned to her husband, placing her forehead on his.
 "Today our son will eat. Today all apes eat because of you and Tola." Oaka signed to her husband. She walked away to check on Kanj. Tola hopped down and walked over to Bryn.
 "When we talk with father. We tell him we found steer on mountain. Understand?" Tola said.
 "Clarence does not believe us," Bryn signed. " He will warn our father."
"Khan is waiting. He wants to talk with you-now." Clarence pointed out. The two brothers turned to see Juno, standing behind them nervously. He looked down as he saw Clarence pointing at him as well. "Juno too."
 The three headed up the stairs until they reached the throne to find their father, with his back facing them. He looked down at the cattle, seeing the tribe starting to split up the pieces and divide them, giving it out. "Those animals. You found them on this mountain?" The three heard their father asked them.
 "Yes, father." Tola stepped up as he told him. "Maybe, they were lost. Wandered onto the mountain."
"Steer, wandering the mountain. How lucky you were." Khan turned around. Bryn tensed up as his eyes was met with his father's silent piercing gaze. Their father knew. "Bryn...is this true?" Bryn nodded.
"Yes," He spoke. "Father we were lucky. And the tribe gets to eat. It is what you wanted, yes?" Bryn saw his father frown before looking over at Juno who was hiding a few feet back. Khan walked over to him.
"Juno," Khan asked him. "Is that what happened? Is that what you saw?" Juno looked down avoiding his gaze, stammering and hooting nervously. Khan walked over and sat down on the throne, waiting. Juno glanced over at Bryn, shaking a little. Bryn quickly stepped up.
"Why do you doubt us, father? We found steer. We took them," He signed. "The tribe eats. That is a good thing."
"You think me foolish? Old?" Khan frowned.
"Father, we told you how we found it," Tola signed. "Is that not enough? Go, eat with tribe. Feast!" Khan sighed. He looked back up, looking at Bryn straight in eyes.
 "Bryn, I ask you one last time." Bryn heard his father said. "Is that how it happened?" Bryn shook his head. He can't lie to his father. He couldn't.
 "No, father. Not true. We found cattle on plains." He signed. Tola narrowed his eyes at him as he continued. "But we only took the food we needed."
 "This food is human food. Now humans will look for their animals and hunt us down." Khan frowned, furiously, looking at all three of them.
"Yes, father," Bryn signed. "I am sorry. Forgive me."
"Did you see humans?" Khan asked him.
 "Yes," Bryn nodded and spoke. "There were two."
 "Did you hurt them?" His father asked him.
 "We had to kill one. The other...escaped." Bryn told him.
 "My sons are fools..." Khan shook his head. Tola tried to speak but their father silenced him. He narrowed his eyes at them, angrily. "YOU PUT THE TRIBE IN DANGER!" The three backed away from him. Bryn looked down, avoiding his gaze. Tola and Juno looked at each other before glancing hesitantly at their father. Khan turned to Clarence.
 "Clarence," Khan signed to the orangutan. "What can we do?"
"So many questions. Are the humans near? Are there many of them?" Clarence signed. "We must find out more before we act." Khan turned back to the three apes.
 "Yes, we must go. Find the humans, learn more." He signed. "There will be no more killing." He stood up, stepping up to the three. Tola, Bryn, and Juno backed away and quickly kneeled down, holding their hand out to him. Submitting to him. "This time...I will lead. You may leave now." As they father watched the three brothers leave, he turned to Clarence, seeing the orangutan shook his head and signed.
"Your sons still have much to learn."
The next morning came as the sun started to rise in the sky. Jess took Rainey and her son, along with a few of Rainey's men to the ranch with the ape hunters. As they arrived, they saw a large hole in the wall to the barn, smashed through by a large force. Pete's body lying on the ground, pulverized to a pulp. The blood stains on the grass from where the livestock once where standing. It was a gruesome sight. Rainey and some of his men went to check on the scene with the ape hunters. Mark glanced over at Pete's body. Jess stepped in front of him, shielding him from the body.
 "No, Mark," Jess told her son. "You wait here."
"Neck broken like a twig," Reeves replied. "It's a hell of a way to go."
"Y'all see these tracks?" Willits pointed out to find a few footprints on the ground.
"Bunch of apes. Five, six, maybe," Reeves said. "Chimps more likely. But you see here? At least one gorilla. And they ridin' horses too."
"Anything else you see?" Jess asked the two men.
"Yeah, like, what happened here?" Rainey asked as well.
"My guess is that is where that gorilla crashed through. The other five or six through this one, with guns. I'd say it wasn't a fair fight." Willits explained.
"Ah, maybe it was just a random attack and they moved on." Rainey said.
"Yeah, I mean, why would they stay?" Jess questioned.
"Look, winter's coming, and just like us, they need food," Willits replied. "My guess is-they're close."
"What if they're watching us right now?" Mark asked.
"Nobody's watching us, Mark." Jess assured him. "And even if they are-we're well protected."
"Apes get a taste for blood, there's no telling what they'd do." Reeves replied.
"There's only one way to find out," Willits said. "They like trees. They like cover."
"Yeah, it's easy enough to track 'em from here." Reeves replied.
"So, we hunt them down?" Mark said.
"Now, hold on!" Rainey shouted. "Now, we came here for Pete and the herd. There's no way in hell that we're going after 'em."
"Right," Jess agreed with him. "We get the herd safe. Take Pete's body-and ride back into town."
"Okay, look. You guys gotta listen." Willits said. "Alright-you need to know what you're up against. How many of them are there? Okay. Are they moving on or are they here to stay?"
"Damn it," Rainey sighed. "Alright...Blake...we need to get Pete back to town. The herd to safety, take care of it."
"Yeah." Blake answered. Jess turned to Mark.
"Mark," She told him. "I want you to stay close."
"Of course." He answered.
"Hey,...Mark," Rainey spoke. "Why don't you give Blake a hand, huh? Get Pete laid to rest. Bring the steer in. It's an important job, son."
"Okay, let's go find us some apes." Reeves replied.
The human group rode into the woods, leading up to the mountain riding their horses on the trail. Jess looked around, noticing that it was deadly quiet. Not a sound. Not even a bird chirping or an deer running by.
"We're getting close," Reeves told the group. "Ya'll better be ready."
"Willits," Jess spoke. "What do you know about these apes?"
"Know? I know they'll rip you in two. I'll tell you this though," Willits replied. "They go down with a head shot. Anything else, you better empty that clip."
"But if we hit 'em hard." Jess said. "They'll run, right? Just leave?"
"Run? No. If we met up with 'em." Willits told her. "We're in for a nasty fight."
"You wanna know what to do if one of 'em grabs you?" Reeves asked.
"Let me guess, Reeves," Jess sighed. "Kiss your ass goodbye?"
Reeves laughed. "Something like that."
Many eyes stared at the humans from above as the rode past. The apes watched them, silently, waiting for their leaders orders. To Bryn's shock, he saw Juno further down near the humans. The branch that he was standing on, gave away and snapped. Juno fell on the ground, startling the human group. Bryn was about to jump down just as they were about to shoot his brother. Bryn heard his father give out a loud roar, telling the apes to attack. Many began to surround the humans as they charged at them. Juno quickly scurried away while the group was distracted, running over to Bryn.
The human party began firing at the apes as they came at them. Jess saw an ape climbing a tree and quickly aimed her gun at him. She hesitated as she tried to squeeze the trigger. Shoot! She saw the ape look at her as his eyes widened. Jess bit her lip, as she saw the ape staring back at her. She cursed as the lowering her gun until she heard a loud roar coming towards her. Jess quickly looked up and saw a large gorilla darting straight at her. She quickly held up gun up to fire, but was too as the gorilla smashed right into her horse, knocking Jess off of it. Jess fell on the ground. She sat up and quickly looked around for her gun, seeing it lying a few feet away from her. She quickly scrambled over and grabbed it, picking it back up.
As she looked up, her eyes met with an older ape with greying hair, glaring down at her as he towered over her. Jess fell back, aiming her gun at him. He slowly began to approach her.
"S-Stay back! I don't want to shoot you!" Jess cried out. The ape frowned as he stared at her, stopping in his tracks. Willits and Reeves quickly turned their horses around, seeing the ape and Jess on the ground. They both fired at the ape while also trying to shoot at the apes above them. More apes came firing at the humans, trying to outnumber them. Jess saw the ape quickly sprint away, escaping. Rainey ran over, pulling Jess back on her feet again.
"Fall back! We'll cover you!" Willits shouted.
"Rainey, fall back! They got us covered!" Jess called out.
"We gotta find the horses!" Rainey shouted.
The rest of the party ran while the two ape hunters held back the apes shooting at them. Jess and Rainey hopped back onto their horses and rode away and the ape hunters followed them. The group stopped near the edge of the woods, noticing that the apes had stopped chasing after them.
 "What happened?" Jess asked.
"They attacked us," Rainey frowned. "And they ran off."
"We beat 'em."  Reeves said.
"Yeah, maybe." Willits replied.
"We should get the hell outta here." Jess said to them.
The apes ran as they were heading back towards the mountain. Khan was riding on Brutus's back. The older ape groaned as he held his wound. "Stop,...here." Khan groaned, weakly. Brutus stopped and gently pulled Khan off of him, lying him down on a flat rock, resting his body against it. Bryn stopped and he turned around, seeing his father.
"Father! The camp is close," Bryn spoke. "We can still..."
"My sons, listen to me," Khan told them and slowly began to sign. Bryn, Tola, and Juno slowly approached their father. "Humans know we are here. Now they will come for us." He turned to Tola.
"You must keep the tribe safe," He signed to him. "Tola...as oldest, you will lead."
"Father-rest!" Bryn shook his head. "You lead us still..." Juno made a worried hoot as he slowly touched at the gunshot wounds on Khans chest. He quickly started to look around until he found some herbs that would stop the bleeding and pressed it against the wound, to get the bleeding to stop. Khan let out a painful hiss. Juno stopped and pulled away. Khan turned to him, shaking his head. Dread began to overwhelm Bryn as he felt his heart stop in his chest, realizing. Their father had lost too much blood. He wasn't going to make it. Juno's eyes widened.
"F-Father..."
"Listen to Clarence," Khan struggled as he told them. "Take his...advice." He looked up to Bryn. "Keep Juno safe."
"I will protect Juno." Bryn replied signing back to him.
"Remember," Their father looked at the three brothers. "...Family is all."
Bryn felt his eyes starting to sting hearing their father's last words. He slowly signed back to him.
"Family is all."
Bryn saw his father take his last breath and his eyes rolled back before he no longer moved.
"Father!" Bryn cried out.
"Father, please!" Juno hooted sadly as he reached over, trying to shake their father. Bryn placed his hand on Juno's shoulder, comforting him as he held his younger brother in his arms as he cried. From the corner of Bryn's eye, he saw Tola stood silently beside him as he looked down at their father.
His eyes had darkness in them, clouded with anger.
The human party back at the compound, meeting up with Mark and Maria along with several of the townspeople. Maria ran over to them. "What the hell happened?" She asked.
"We found the apes alright," Jess told her. "Tracked them straight into an ambush."
"Where's Isaac?" Maria asked.
"I'm sorry," Jess told her. "Isaac didn't make it."
"Two dead in twenty-four hours?" Maria's mouth dropped in disbelief. "God, Jess."
"I know and they're still out there," Jess said. "But for now, we have to take care of everyone here."
"Jess!" Rainey shouted. "We got to start protecting ourselves-and fast. Get people to look for ways that apes could break into this town."
"Okay," Jess nodded. "We'll get people to help. But we have to take precautions."
"Alright." Rainey replied.
"Jess, you gotta get this town safe again," Willits said. "Now, it could be Oswald and I help you with that."
"I thought you might have ideas," Jess said to him. "Let's hear them."
"Look, when the apes find you, and they will find you, they're gonna come after you," Willits explained as he told her. "So, unless you got guns on these walls- and I do mean all these walls. It's just a matter of time before they're in here."
"Okay but hang on. We can't just hole up in here, waiting," Rainey replied. "We need to send out patrols."
"Willits is right." Jess said. "We have to keep Millerton safe. Guns on the walls."
"God damn it, Jess," Rainey frowned. "What about our food? We got corn and beets out there to be harvest. My cattle, all out there. We're just sitting in here, waiting."
"Securing Millerton is a priority," She told him. "We take care of our people."
"It's a good decision, Jess." Willits smiled at her.
"You two thinking you'll stay?" Jess asked him.
"You got some good people in this town. Hate to see things go wrong," Willits replied. "Yeah, I think we'll stay."
"Sure." Reeves said. "And in the meantime, we'll go outside and...check out ways them apes can maybe get in here."
"What can I do?" Mark asked. Jess looked up and Mark followed her gaze, seeing her look at the watch tower.
"I want you on lookout." She answered.
The apes returned home to the tribe. Brutus held Khan solemnly his arms as he carried the fallen leader, up to the throne. He laid Khan down and closed the apes eyes walking away. Tola walked over to his father, looking down at him in grief. Oaka ran up the stairs, hearing what had happened and rushed over to Bryn, seeing her husband standing in the corner. His wife comforted him as she hugged Bryn and Bryn held her in his arms, hugging her back. He glanced over at his father and Tola, seeing his older brother, standing over him silently. He was Tola turn around as he set his sights on Juno. He growled as he stormed over. "You...did...this!" Tola snarled.
Juno whimpered as he held his hand out. Tola grabbed Juno's arm in a tight grip and began to twist it harshly. Bryn's and his wife's eyes widened in shock, along with Clarence. Juno let a blood curdling scream, hollering in pain. He glanced over at Bryn, for help. "Tola! Stop!" Bryn shouted as he ran over, pulling Tola off of Juno. Tola shrugged Bryn off of him. He turned around and narrowed his eyes at Bryn, angrily. Bryn stared back at him, silently. He was also nervous as well. "This is wrong."
"Tola," His wife spoke as she signed to him. She walked over standing beside Bryn. "Ape not fight ape."
"Oaka is right." Bryn agreed signing with her. "We must not fight amongst ourselves."
Tola glared angrily at him. "You dare tell me what the tribe needs!?"
"No, Tola...listen to Oaka." Bryn answered. "You are wrong."
"No-you must control her," Tola growled. He stepped over to the two. "You are weak, brother." Oaka stepped up with a look of challenge in her eyes. Bryn held her back.
"Oaka," He told her. "Enough! You must stop. We are done here."
A low angry bark filled the air and everyone turned to see Clarence. He frowned as he hopped down from his spot beside Khan, slowly walking over to the two brothers.
"Your father is not yet cold," Clarence signed to the two. "Did you listen to nothing he taught you?"
"I am sorry," Bryn signed to the orangutan. "Forgive us, Clarence."
"Khan was a great leader. We all feel his loss. But do not be ruled by your anger." Clarence replied, signing.
"What do you know about anger?!" Tola glared, furiously.
"We all feel anger at humans," Oaka replied, signing. "We all grieve. But Tola, anger will not keep tribe safe."
"My wife is right, Tola. The tribe looks to you now," Bryn told him, signing as well. "And you must lead us."
"I will lead," Tola growled. "And I will make the humans pay in blood, for what they have done." He walked away, signaling the gorilla to follow him. "Brutus!"
Bryn and Oaka watched in concern as the they saw Tola leave along with the large gorilla.
Back at the compound, Jess walked inside the armory, looking for Rainey, seeing him as he pulled out a machine gun, setting it on the table. He was opening more boxes that had more bigger guns. "Rainey-what the hell?" Jess exclaimed.
"Face it, Jess," He told her. "We've been firing peashooters at those damn apes! Some of them had goddamn assault rifles, for Christ's sake!"
"Wait a second, Rainey," Jess said. "You're handing these out? To the whole compound? It's overkill."
"Better safe than dead," He replied. "Especially, if we to go after them right where they live."
"We're not going anywhere," Jess shook her head. "Not for now."
"This is war, Jess! We don't have a damn choice here!" Rainey shouted. "It's kill them-or they are gonna kill us."
"No." Jess slammed the lid down. "We do have a choice. No one wants more bloodshed."
"So, we just sit back, and we wait for them?" He asked her. "That your plan?"
"The apes attacked us because we attacked them." Jess told him. "Can't you see that?! I think first, we calm people down, strengthen the defenses. And yes, break out the heavy stuff. But get it up on the walls! They come; they shoot. We shoot back. We don't go looking for trouble, you got that?"
"Here," Rainey sighed. He pulled an assault gun from the case, holding it out to her. "At least carry a decent weapon."
"No." Jess refused. "Fewer of those out there, the better."
"Alright, it's your call," He replied. "But, God, if you're wrong, Jess, and they come for us..."
"If I'm wrong, we fight them off," She answered. "And we follow them back into the forest. We find their camp and then we'll hunt them down like rats."
Later on that night, the apes held a funeral for their fallen leader. Juno walked over a torch and handed it over to Bryn. He took it from him and passed it to Tola. The older brother walked over and lit the boat with their father's body on it. Tola began pushing it into the water and the flames began to grow, completely engulfing Khan's body. The current took their father along with it drifting away.
Tola turned back towards the tribe, who were looking on sadly. "Khan is dead! Tola is leader now!" He declared as he shouted to the tribe. Several apes hooted joining him. Bryn watched his father as his body sailed away.
"Goodbye," Bryn signed. "Father." Oaka stood beside him as she leaned her head against him.
"Juno must be careful," Clarence walked over to two "Now-more than ever."
"I cannot always be there to protect him." Bryn replied as he signed to him.
"Tola is quick to anger." Clarence told him. "You must teach him to think, before he acts."
"Tola will never learn." Oaka signed. "Anger blinds him."
"Clarence is right," Bryn told her. "With my help. Tola can be a wise leader."
Oaka shook her head. "Tola will not listen to anyone." She turned to her husband and spoke. "You should be leader."
Bryn's eyes widened a little in surprise then shook his head. "It is not my place. I know nothing of leadership." He heard Clarence make a low hoot and looked at him. Clarence shook his head.
"Not true. You show compassion, loyalty, mercy. Bryn must show his brother," Clarence told her. "How to lead."
"Yes." Bryn said, signing. "Tola can learn to be a good leader."
"Tola wants to talk," Brutus signed as he walked over to the three. He frowned at Clarence, stopping him.  "Not you, old one." Bryn turned to his wife.
"Wait here." He told her.
Oaka nodded and she watched as she saw her husband leave as he followed Brutus. Clarence sat down beside her sadly looking the river watching the glowing fire within the distance for his fallen old friend.
Brutus led Bryn over to Tola as they walked to the throne. Tola was sitting down on it and looked up as he saw the two come in. Brutus walked away leaving the two of them alone. He sat down not too far off, silently watching.
"Why did you not want Clarence here, brother?" Bryn asked his brother.
"It is time for us to talk, to plan on what we will do," Tola told him as he signed. "Now, our father is gone. There can never be peace with humans. Never."
"You are right," Bryn told him as he signed. "But we must be careful."
"Careful?" Tola sneered. "I smell fear, brother."
"Humans now will learn to fear us." Brutus replied.
"Human blood must flow-or we dishonor father," Tola signed. "Tonight-we will lead a war party. We will kill humans-as many as we can."
"Did our father's death teach you nothing?!" Bryn frowned, angrily, signing, furiously. "We must take our time...or more apes will die."
"You will listen to me, brother!" Tola shouted. "Obey! Tonight, we kill humans! We gather our strongest warriors. Clarence come. Clarence wise."
"Clarence is no warrior." Bryn frowned in suspicion.
"We do as Tola orders," Brutus signed. "We are all warriors, now. Wise Clarence goes with us, tonight."
Tola smirked. "Much blood will flow."
(1) I really like the timeline you made for Bloodborne, many things in it make a lot of sense! I do wonder where you'd put the events of Old Yharnam in it, though. Vaatividya, in his Bloodborne videos, does a pretty good argument that Old Yharnam was the first place where Laurance and co. went with their miracle cure; the town was afflicted by that disease of ashen blood, and the tablets that the population used to contain it were useless (the "antidote" item).
(2) Then came Laurence with his holy blood, and it helped for a while, until everyone started turning into beasts and the church, still way into its infancy, didn’t have the system to contain it, so they burned the city and sealed it away. This could explains the “ the ashen blood ailment eventually triggered the spread of the beastly scourge” line of the antidote item, and I think it fits well in your timeline; could even be the event that brings Annelise’s attention to Laurence and co., maybe?
First of all, thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed reading my wild speculations! :D I know that so many things need to be accepted ‘just because’ in order for my timeline to make sense but I think that any attempt to place events in chronological order would require similar assumptions.
Now, let’s get to your question! The reason why I kinda brush to the side the whole Old Yharnam episode in my fanfiction is that, in canon, I believe it to be the moment when the Hunters became known to the population who was previously kept in the dark. In my story, the existence of the Byrgenwerth Hunters is never really hidden on purpose and in fact, many people with ties to the college know or at least have heard about them. Members of the Church (not the ‘healing’ one. simply the religious institution that existed in Yharnam since the old days and that Laurence will later take over) even openly opposed Willem’s heretical ideology and denounced that he and his ‘hired guns’ were trespassing and profaning hallowed ground in their exploration of the Chalice Dungeons.
I don’t remember exactly what item description mentions that the Hunters were ‘unmasked’ at some point and that the Church Hunters kinda replaced them or something… and that is why I invite you guys to help me with this one! Was it an actual item description or am I imagining things?!
As I was searching for it on the wiki, I found this:
One of the staple articles of hunter attire, fashioned at the workshop.A product of the scourge of the beast that once plagued Old Yharnam and culminated in the town’s fiery cleansing.[Charred Hunter Set]
That kinda confirms the idea that the Hunters involved in the burning of Old Yharnam were the Workshop/Byrgenwerth ones and not the Church’s. So it would totally make sense if, just like you said, Old Yharnam was the first place where Laurence extensively tested the Healing Blood, possibly, even before he left Byrgenwerth. In my story, the place where Laurence carried on his experiments after Willem forbid him to do so (bad Laurence!) was the small village in the Forbidden Woods. A small and poor settlement where people couldn’t afford medical treatment and thus had nothing to lose from submitting themselves to Laurence’s sketchy remedies if sick. Old Yharnam on the other hand, looks like a place for wealthier people that would probably frown upon a young student who isn’t even a real doctor :P
Another possibility is that Ashen Blood was inflicted on purpose on the population of OY by the Healing Church itself but again, all these theories make sense and absolutely do not invalidate the others :) it all depends on what kind of narrative we’re building around characters and institutions.
