Now that marijuana is fully out of my system, the night terrors and getting trapped in nightmare loops for entire irl days at a time and the waking up kicking and screaming has returned! 🤠 And so far they’ve all been about the family that I am entirely estranged from for very good reasons 🤠 And my tics and waking seizures are making a come back! I’m having a lot of fun! 🤠

#I dream extremely vividly #I can read in dreams and use my phone like normal #Scroll through and text and all that #Phone calls are usually garbled but the rest is just like reality #I die in my dreams #I feel the physical pain #I feel them holding me down #I feel the wind on my face as I run run run from them #Woke up screaming for Tyrell this morning #Couldn’t stay awake and was dragged back into the loop #Kicked the fuck out of the shelf next to my bed recently #Woke up in a running crawl (right off my very tall bed)#Neck muscles enraged from the irl head flinging #At least the tics and neuro issues aren’t quite as bad as they usually are without weed #I assume because of the naltrexone?#which I will be out of soon with no $ to refill too :(#but low dose naltrexone does not help with the dreaming #only weed has ever helped with the dreaming #but hey I have been less nauseous these last few days at least #so that’s a win #idk what kind of tw to put on this post I’m sorry #I haven’t seen them in ten years irl #and now they’re torturing me every time I sleep #and it is so so so real #getting some dream things and reality things mixed up again #am confused #everything is a lot! all at once! always!#makes zero sense for stuff from compunding pharmacies to not be covered by insurance #makes zero sense for medical marijuana to be legal but not covered by insurance #compounding*

The first Andreil fic i ever read was this rly amazing one that i cant remember the name of where Andrew has retrograde amnesia after an accident and can’t remember Neil, but he is freaked out because his trauma responses aren’t the same as they used to be. I was just thinking about how amazing that would be if the narrative was flipping and how hard it would be Andrew to watch Neil having lost all of the progress he had made because of his memory loss and his fight or flight overcoming learned behavior ugh

because on the one hand i'm like yeah! i get it! and on the other hand hhhhhh the word "woobify" like nails on a chalkboard and the trust is not there anymore with people who talk about woobifying villains because sometimes that just means sympathizing with them or doing anything other than discussing their evil badness and yet this post sounds so reasonable, look, it's right there, "reasonable villain enjoyers" but who the fuck is that, it's the good villain fan/bad villain fan thing all over again, am i a reasonable villain enjoyer, well i don't feel reasonable any more i feel positively insane

and it's even more frustrating than the "liking villains is wrong and bad" people because this one comes with a superiority complex and obscure and ever-changing standards but also I agree because people can be really frustrating when they file off all the hard edges and it can make a character very boring but also what do you mean by woobifying op, what the fuck do you mean here, and what do all the people reblogging mean, because i damn well bet some of them are the "let villains be villains why does every villain have to have a tragic backstory smdh" people and I'm so tired of playing villain fan respectability politics--

I got into a car accident today.

But I was very lucky.

A truck went out of control, slid sideways down the road towards me and hit the driver's side with its rear end, pushing my car against a wall for a moment, then spun around again and got stuck, fully blocking the road.

I'm completely fine.

Only a piece of shattered glass cut my finger. Except for that, your humble artist is unharmed.

Is it just me or is there a trend of more and more "poorly written" fics?

I don't mean "poorly written" as in the story being bad or not engaging, I just mean that it'd get a bad grade in school because it doesn't have correct capitalization/punctuation/formatting/ect.

But fanfiction is NOT written for a grade, so authors can write however they want. Just, can anyone tell me if they think fanfiction getting more casual is a trend that's going to keep increasing?

I'm not against reading fic like this it's just that I find it very very distracting and tiring to try and read, but I don't want to miss out on good fics because I grew up with some elitist idea of what writing should look like or something.
