My issue with the mentality of just keeping any cat you come across that happened to be outside, is not every fucking cat you see outside is a fully outdoor, or even just an indoor/outdoor cat.

Like this obviously doesn't pertain to people who find a cat outside and then actually look for the owner, but I see way too many posts from people who found a cat outside, instantly assumed it was a stray or an outdoor cat, and just fucking kept it, without even bothering to try to find a potential owner.

Sometimes fully indoor cats get out, and actually yeah, you are just an asshole fully stealing someone's lost pet.

Maybe their people where moving in or out, and the cat slipped out. Maybe this cat usually gets walked, but slipped out of the harness (this has happened to me, luckily my cat went fully brain dead as soon as she was loose and I was able to catch her), maybe they did move, and the cat escaped to try and find its way "home". Any number of things could have happened, and you literally can't fucking know!

But no, not every single cat you see outside is available for you to just take home and keep!

#shit happens!#accidents fucking happen!#some cats are truly bound and determined to get the fuck outside and will fucking do so #this shit happens!#and before anyone tries to say anything about not walking cats for this reason #babysit her #babysit Midna for a fucking week and just you try and tell me indoor-only activities are enough for that little demon #some cats are just too high-energy to live their life permanently indoors #she needs an outlet for her prey drive and the only outlet that works is letting her actually *hunt* in a safe manner (end of a leash)#because it's not just a manner of her needing to climb or whatever #no she needs to *hunt*#we're pretty sure she was a barn cat of some kind #so I walk her and I let her chase bugs and various rodents (within reason)#and it mellows her out #that time she slipped out was 'cause it was a new harness and I didn't have her strapped in properly #but my point is shit happens

Ingo and Emmet are perfectly in sync. They have to be, living as conjoined twins. The Subway Masters of Nimbasa City, the two are happy with their friends and family and trains.

Of course, the universe contains chaos and random chance that can affect even the closest of people. The two find themselves in situations that neither would have ever expected, and it will test them both.

Through it all, one thing is certain. Family, both blood related and chosen, will never let you be alone. And, no matter the trials, a two-car train will always continue onwards.
