Something different! Every spring I dig up a bunch of plants from my garden and give them away. I needed a new sign :) I went hard on one side and ran out of time on the other, I might add some plant filigree later.
My giveaway was native plants and perennial herbs. I had 300+ pots and bare root chunks to give out. The pic of the set up is after about half was already gone- I was so busy immediately I didn't have time for a proper picture! I gave everything away in 4-5 hours. WHEW. Lots of fun, was great to make people happy and talk plants.

Speed test! Using as few colours as possible and working quickly, instead of my usual lot of putting on a colour then letting it dry for a day, then doing the next one etc. So all that's left is the white infill and straightening up on the OPEN LATE and picking a colour for the SAUNA itself.
I wanted this to be punchy and bright- the inspiration was one of those spinning signs like you get at car washes, but which said "SAUNA OPEN/LATE" which used to be outside of the bathhouse I went to as a teenager.
So, that was about 2 hours for that layer, including washing the brushes and mixing paint.
I'm coming towards maybe £50 for an A3 sign, assuming that the remaining layers take about the same amount of time.
