Jamie has cat ears, cat tail and yes, he does purr when he's enjoying something. He's pretty much a cat boy, even in personality. He has a hard time trusting people, but when he does he can be very affectionate and caring! He can create different kinds of plants with his powers, he can heal people and he has lightning powers! He's basically immortal since even if you do kill him he comes back to life after some time. JJ loves books and he's a romantic! He feels like finding his soulmate is something really important to him (There are other things that are also important to him, though, like vangence over a certain someone, but no one needs to know that, shhh, let's not talk about it) He works as an assassin but usually keeps that a secret He's a nerd who loves studying about new things and finding about about stuff... but I think Poss can explain it a little better than me:

"The most main character energy of my OC roster - this is Jjheminee, also known as Jhemie, Jamie, and JJ. His go-to alias is Midnight, but sometimes he uses ‘Emerald’ or ‘Kitty’, depending on the situation. He is trans masc, but has female personas for work. He is an ex-royal due to being born under unfavorable circumstances that led to him being banished from the royal family when he was a preteen. His life had many bumps from there - an adventure full of various angst and forbidden knowledge. But now he is living in the human world, seeking revenge against the person who caused him to be born into such unfortunate circumstances. He works for the man who played a role in screwing up his life, and has many side hobbies so the revenge plan is very slow going. But that’s fine. He’s patient. That or he’s gotten super sidetracked from that goal. He loves books, knowledge, technology, dogs, kids, and kinky sex. About the sketch: It was nice to draw a character I'm a little bit used to draw already after spending a few days drawing characters I've never drawn before this challenge! Something I'm really happy about is the fact that I've noticed that even when I draw someone wearing a simple outfit (like JJ's oversized hoodie and ripped jeans) I've been able to add more detail than I used to. For reference I used to put a black t-shirt on everyone and everyone looked kinda the same imo, so improvement!

🥰 - What pet names do their partner(s) use for them? How flustered do they get by them?

Seeing his actual ship options, they're always stuff like "my dearest", "my beloved", "my love", etc. Just directly affective pet names hahaha And of course he gets flustered, specially the first times. But even when he is used to them already, he still gets blushy when one is used~ 🤭

🧸 - Do they have any stuffed animals? If so, are they decorative or do they sleep with them?

She has a few in her room back at home. She uses them as decorations now, but she used to cuddle some of them when she was younger, the ones she's had for longer~ They're all mostly kitty plushies or fishes. She just likes the cat theme, what can I say? hahah Also, she has a collection of small sushy plushies (those with cute faces hahah).

💀 - How do they feel about horror movies?

He won't seek them out in particular, but he doesn't mind them. He finds them entertaining most of the time, if there's a lot of action specially. But if they're the kind that has 90% slow plot and dialogue, then he'd just fall asleep before it reaches any scary part at all xDDD He also mostly just laughs when jumpscares or "scary scenes" happen lmao

💓 - What are some signs they’ve fallen for someone? How do they show their affection?

Well, it's more than obvious… he starts "stalking" that person, trying to talk to them at any chance. Oriol will also just talk about said person nonstop, in an unrealistic enamoured way hahaha And well, same as how he shows affection, he'd stick to them as much as he can, flirt at any ocassion, try to get some skinship into the mix xD He's shameless (and usually unwanted XDD).

👗 - How comfortable would they be wearing a skirt or dress?

Not much, since it's all flowy and has no "protection". Also, if it's one that shows a lot of her legs, she dislikes it even more. Even if she wore tights, it shows her figure a lot and she's not too comfy with that. If she wears any dress or skirt, it'll have to be a really long one that goes to her feet, and with non-transparent tights under, for sure. But she won't seek them out on her own.

☂️ - How do they feel about rain?

It's great! She enjoys the sunlight the most, but rain is great for plants and for life. She's also used to it raining a lot on her hometown so~ She also finds the sounds of the rain falling down calming 😌

Izar:

💘 - What do they find attractive about their partner(s)?

She really likes soft and squishy curves, they're comfy to lay over and pleasing to touch~ She also has a soft spot for her partner's ears 🤭

🍪 - How well can they bake?

He's ok at it~ Not as good as his cooking, but he knows enough about baking to not make big mistakes and be able to pull off all simple recipes 😌 Even if no one will believe him(?) hahah

🍳 - How well can they cook?

He's ok at it. Not great, but he can make simple dishes that don't require many steps. It's not delicious but it usually turns out nice enough~

I went for that one because I had thought of those for most of my other OCs but not her~ She's mostly quality time, just spending time together with people she cares about, and enjoying their company. Just lots of cuddles and always touching each other even if it's just leaning into the other person so their arms touch. She mostly just does this last one with her brother and her s.o. tho~

Introducing something new. A guide.

here we go again kiddos! buckle up, it's gonna be a long one!

so i had a poll out a few days ago (that I have since deleted) and it had several options of fanfiction's i had wanted to introduce to my blog, and the two with the most votes would have been introduced. i was planning on keeping the poll up for three days but two day's in and i only had 13 votes. so i sent out a new one asking if you wanted descriptions to the fics and ya'll said yes. so here we go.

this guide will always be up and linked in my pinned post, so you never had to fear about losing it. if and when i make more fics I'll update the list, and I will always refer to this list/guide when i wanna introduce a new fic to the blog.

before we begin though i have a rating system for my fics, i like to write dark so i have a scale;

it's not bad but- = it’s light, not much gore maybe some trauma for spice. But otherwise technically could be 13+ (not including smut) at best

Trauma o’clock = it gets worse. 16+ (not including smut) more trauma and gore for the characters and in the story

wounded dove = it’s pretty bad. But not to the point of dead dove. But still pretty bad.

Our doves are rotting = dead dove do not eat all the way, it’s a gore fest in here. Morals we don’t know her.

if you see ✅ beside a fic or series title, i have added it to my blog already.

I'll colour code the list, so the colours that the ratings are will correspond with the rating of the fic, ight? ight. and if a title is still white then the rating is undecided.

The Will of Gods and Monsters - Hellsing Ultimate ✅

summary - what is the human will? The age-old argument is of whether humans have free will at all, but if you want to go deeper, what about the Gods we serve? And what of the monsters they create?

Father Alexander Anderson makes choices that hurt him, he fixes those choices and eradicates all love for anyone except God. Though it is debatable who his god is.

Aireth made a choice in her young life to explore the world and subsequently got tangled up with a Lord by the name of Vlade Tempest, or Vlad the Impaler, she made an oath, by choice, and it continues to bite her in the ass even after she thinks she’s rid herself of it.

Finally, Abbadon. She seems to have no free will of her own, constantly controlled by the ones who took her as a child she never gets to make her own choices. Until she did, and the glass was broken.

It can be argued that humans have free will, Integra willingly killed her Uncle to save Hellsing, Walter willingly serves as her butler.

But what of the monsters under her control? Alucard, Aireth, Saris? What of the gods? Anderson, Seraph? Is their will their own?

the relationships in this fic are; Father Alexander Anderson x oc and the Captian x oc. this is a dead dove do not eat fic, there is human experimentation, nazi's (its Hellsing), lots of non-con/dub-con elements, attempted rape, and cannon-typical violence. this story is definitely not for the faint of heart but the characters I've made for it are super close to my heart and some of the best OC's I've made.

Wait No Longer - Cult of the Lamb

gonna be honest this one doesn't have a description to it (it's not as developed as my other one lmao) but I do have vague ideas for it that a lot of my friends think are pretty interesting. it is a Narinder (the one who waits) x oc. and mainly takes place before lambert. idk the rating yet (haven't decided how dark i wanna go with it but it does have cult stuff in it) i'd likely put in in wounded dove

And No One Saw It Coming - Puss in Boots the Last Wish

summary - Kitty and Perrito get to Puss while he is still stuck in the cave of souls, while death still hunts him down like a cat would a mouse, or a wolf would a cat. 

In the ensuing scuffle, the three find out that even Death can have a wish, and Goldie and Jack are dealt with, they actively seek Death out and ask if they can somehow help grant his wish. If they can help find who he longs to see again. 

Of course, Lobo scoffs at them. He’s a very busy wolf and doesn’t have the time for this, but something in the back of his mind won't stop gnawing at him and eventually he caves, Accepting the tabi’s offer for help. 

Lobo (death) x oc, there is manipulation, illness, and maybe more, this is actually one of the newer fic's i have created for the movie .

Determination of the forsaken - Kung Fu Panda

again no summary (for some reason-) even though this fic is pretty old, but what I can tell you all is that a dragon falls from the heavens, Oogway finds her as her form changes to fit in the mortal world. it is a Tai Lung x oc, and the oc is trying to discover who she was before Oogway and Tai.

This Never Ending Nightmare We Must Call Life - Little Nightmares  ✅

summary - the Maw was where they lived and where they were supposed to die. But fate had another idea and kept one alive. Those on the Maw named her Key as they thought she was the key to saving them all from this twisted world. However, a strange signal pulses in her head and she is drawn to the land, heading for a place with towering buildings and pale skies;

Key makes a journey that should have never been made in the first place.

guys.... there is so much manipulation and gaslighting in this fic... i was really in my gaslight era. BUT ANYWAY its a Thin Man x oc fic, super dark, i think there was some elements of dub-con, also major character deaths and suicidal ideation. all i know was that it was dark. but like Thin Man

Xeno sees how Goku interacts with Goten the omni-king decides that his gods need that joy in their lives as well. So under the order of their father, the grand priest and the omni-king the angel attendants go and find suitable children for their gods.

when Bulma catches wind of the situation is she quick to pull several older kids who had been absolutely screwed over by the foster system for Whis to look at. One girl who has bruises all over her face and looks like a walking corpse catches his eyes.

in which renn exposes the foster system through dbz lmao. there will be drug use, pedophilia, non-con, dud-con, crimes, and a lot of trauma. but our girl will heal, after all, its amazing what a child can grow into if given the proper care isn't it

There were many kids their age or just a little younger in the community now that it was growing so well, but none stood out more to Bruno Madrigal than Mariposa Lucia Neva. And of course, his two sisters always noticed.

fic two; This Little Miracle of Mine

this fic doesn't have a summary but it involves the actual movie and Bruno and Mariposa have a child.

obv Bruno Madrigal x oc, and guy's looking back at the discord chats for this thing it is cute and mmmmmm. its just a lil trauma sprinkled here and there but the hurt comfort is hurt comforting.

fic one - Haunted by a Darker Side

summary - The Gods were never reliable in any sense for Nem. her mother prayed and believed but she never did, she thought it was a waste of time and took matters into her own hands. Unfortunately taking things into your own hands will often get you into much more trouble than it's truly worth. 

It was only when Nem really feared for her life that she prayed for the first time, it was only after running from guards with the shiver of the Pharaoh’s last words running through her mind, the moon clear above her as she lay dying in the sand that she truly prayed.  

“Oh Lord Khonshu, god of the moon, Protector of the travellers of the night. Please protect my mother and brothers in my absence, watch over them when I could not.  I beg of you if you are real please, please do this, I'm sorry I never believed or worshipped. I offer the rest of myself to you if you can do this one thing for me-”

What Nem was not expecting was a response to her prayer; 

“Why don’t you protect them yourself? It would be a shame to die on a nice night like this. Allow me to keep you alive Nem of Iken”

She should have known there would be strings attached to that offer… 

fic two - Transcends to Walking in the Light

summary - Nem would not let Khonshu be turned to stone, so with Anubis’ help, she announced that she was with child, a new god or goddess of the Ennead. Khonshu must live to raise the child, as Nem would not be able to handle it on her own unless they wanted a rouge god on their hands. 

Begrudgingly they agree, freeing her God, but this freedom comes at a price. 

“You must marry Khonshu, we cannot have a god be born naturally out of wedlock.” 

At least it didn’t need to be conceived within wedlock- but these terms are easily agreed to by both parties. Now the next chapter of Nem’s patronage to Khonshu begins, 

With her as his Queen. 

fic three- And Slowly I'm Recovering

summary - Most agree that on any given night the moon is beautiful, it always has been and always will be. So why was it that Casper could never face it? Did it have something to do with a past she didn’t want to relive and a personal mission that had yet to be completed? Yes, yes it did. But she is too stubborn to admit that aloud. 

So when she gets mixed up with a nice fellow named Steven Grant and his life, her past with the moon god Khonshu comes to a head. And what she's been running from all this time is right in front of her, she just needs to face it with the honour she once had. 

fic four - The Beauty of Discovering

no summary but domestic fluff and chaos ensues.

GUYS I HAD THE BIGGEST BRAIN WHEN COMMING UP WITH THESE NAMES ON GOD I DID!!! if you haven't listened to the song Creature by Half Alive then what are you doing with your life?? anyway these titles come from the end of that song (it is one of my faves) and the lyrics describe what it happening sooooo well!!! i was so fucking proud of myself

anyway this is a Khonshu x oc, there is some pretty shitty stuff that happens in each of the fics that warrant the rating i have given it, but its not to the point that it's dead dove.

have you heard the golden records? series - Transformers Bayverse

there are five fic's for the five movies, and the rating is split because one of the fic's has human experimentation and two of them have child abuse (maybe three) i only have the summary for the first fic, and while each fic covers a movie in the franchise it also covers a lot more, like the before's and afters of the movies, the fallouts we never get to see.

fic one - MESSENGER

summary - Up to this point life has not been kind to Ezra Rhett, but she manages in her own way and actually maybe made some good friends in the form of the Witwicky family. When Sam gets his first car and it apparently steels itself she’s the first person he’s calling, the next day when Giant metal beings show themselves to them all in a back alley and ask Sam to save the world she’s already had enough. 

But that pleading look in his eyes has her reluctantly agreeing to go, and very quickly she realizes it would be a cold day in hell if she ever let these kids go through this alone. 

Optimus Prime has a similar thought process when he realized how young the humans helping his team were. He is glad that Ezra decided to stay and help her young friends not for herself but for their safety. The Autobot leader also keeps his eyes on them, he doesn’t need any of the humans helping them get hurt along the way. 

Though sometimes he finds himself being pulled by the Look in her eyes.

Optimus prime x oc because yes. somehow i made the oc a half-human, half cybertronian in a non-cringe way. like me and my significant other literally discussed the biochemistry of how this could all work. there are paragraphs of messages of my friends and i talking about this. so it's safe to say, smut will happen in a natural way (without that holo form bs)

summary - Cybertron was a stagnant planet, it had been since the collapse of the space bridges, no, likely since the fall of the thirteen. But it was all about to change, A Gladiator named Megatrounus would make sure of it. 

This, however, is not his story, this is the tale of another, one who called herself Seadrift and later Moray. She was the bot to bring Megatron back to his true ideals and the one to plunge him into a rage so deep it consumed all of Cybertron. 

She was also the one to make an impact on Monster kind, after all, it was the Monster’s who accepted her and the humans who shunned her. When war broke out all over again in her new home, Seadrift was going to be sure it didn’t end with her getting sent away from the ones she loved, not again. So she took up arms against the humans and fought for monster kind, just like she had for Megatron so long ago. 

fic two - The Reason I'm Alive

this one doesn't have a description but it's from Megatron and Seadrift's kid pov and it gets brutal (i think i have a scene where they saw off their own leg with fishing line)

Megatron x oc and eventually I make Megatron a dad (listen ya'll will eventually see that i have a thing for taking villans and making them single dads to daughter and have them absolutely dote on them)

- 24 years old

- he/him, asexual, panromantic

- Works at a restaurant as a waiter

- Nerdy dude, loves tv shows and movies, and references them constantly

- Honestly has no clue what his happening at any given moment

- Kind of a sad past, his family was pretty poor after his dad died and people tended to bully him about that in school. It’s better now that he’s graduated college, but he still has some memories that hurt

- Learned ASL so he could talk easier to his best friend he met in college, Safer

- Overall: Extreme Chaotic Dork

Safer

- 24 years old

- he/him and they/them, forgot to add his little pin in the picture, but he’s asexual as well, homoromantic

- Works at the local library

- Loves books. It’s kind of a problem. Sometimes he’ll go out to grab a coffee and come back with five books and an iced tea instead

- He’s Deaf, has been since he was around 7. Safer had constant ear infections throughout his life until then that made it difficult to do school work and basic activities, much less do the fun things 7 year old should be doing. Instead of hanging out with his friends, Safer was often laying in bed and hoping he’d fall asleep so he wouldn’t feel the pain in his ears anymore. So when he was finally offered to get rid of it with a surgery that would cost him his hearing, he jumped at the chance and hasn’t regretted it since. 

- Would rather curl up on the couch with a book and his best friend than go outside

- Overall: Major Sweetheart

Pirate

- Jace and Safer’s kitty! Safer found her in an alleyway, and brought her home 

- she’s an old cat now, but it looks like back in her younger days she was a bit of a fighter haha

- She’s got one eye, so sometimes she bumps into things and gets startled by stuff other cats would’ve been able to see

- Jace and Safer dress her up as an actual pirate every Halloween. She just barely tolerates it every time

It has been a month and 2 days since I first made her, I love how cool this OC is when I drew it at first. So for a month anniversary, I'm going to make a maybe proper reference sheet of her.

Here's some story I've made about her

She lives on an apartment with her sister in an urban city, she's studying in college and also working on a pet store as her part-time job.

She has alot of cats at home, and also alot of annoying ants living on her home. She's too annoyed with the existence of the ants, these ants always eat up her food on the table, crawling on the floor , being a huge eyesore and also quite disgusting , She have done everything to prevent these ants from existing on her sweet apartment but somehow the ants kept coming back, She's still battling on these ants and will just kill whenever she sees one.

Her favourite food would be the bread, it doesn't matter what kind of bread, she will eat it because she thinks it's very good for her health.(she might use these bread for other stuff than eating them too.)

About her cats, well she loves them of course , sometimes she got scratched by these cats at home but doesn't seem to really mind , the house is always end up messy whenever she came back home.

Her sister is the one who's paying all the bills and furnitures at the apartment home, her sister works everyday, almost a full day and rarely got free time, really busy with her own work for the family.

i have sorta been in and out of rp for years now. i remember, i used to write on tumblr when i was like 12 / 13 which is ..... really kinda scary thinking about it. when i was 17, i got back into roleplay and ended up joining a group with the nicest of people ( some of who i still speak to now ). i worked my way up to becoming a moderator and then an admin, then poured my heart and soul into a revamp but i think the longer i spent there, i just got a bit bummed out by strict rules and having to set an example as head admin when i could hardly follow them myself with university and working a full time job. i did leave eventually and came over to indie where i took my lil fire cracker as oc. just recently made her a blog because i found my long lost love @asynjja​ / @indizien​ and got hit right in the feels with this rollercoaster plot we had going. i then started adding game of thrones muses to that multi, switched it out for solely a game of thrones multi, then made daenerys & margaery their own separate blogs but marg moo is hibernating

i have a soft spot in my heart for cripples, bastards & broken things. nah, i’m kidding but most of my characters have legit always been BROKEN  !!!  i’ve always had this thing for powerful woman who are inspiring, a lil wild and just stand out characters. so aside from dany, i’ve also written sansa, arya, cersei and margaery but i just never really resonated with them in the way that i did with daenerys. i feel like because i started watching game of thrones when there were only 3 seasons out, that i really watched her grow and just came to love her even more. she stands for freedom, justice, equality and tbh .... that’s the stuff i stand for too. she’s a passionate fiery lil thing and i think i can relate to that on quite a few levels, which is why i’ve opted for the characters that i have in the past. i could really do with reviving marg ( @rosebeavty​ ) but my muse here is far too strong. once i become hooked on a certain character, i find it difficult to place my muse and interest elsewhere so sorry guys but ur stuck with me for a lil while

1. What is/are your OC’s nickname(s) and how did it come about?

Cat is the main nickname she has as it is just a shortening of her name. In other verses she has nicknames of Catnip, Conejito, Kit Cat, Kitty Cat, Mew, and that’s all for now that I can think of. Her name lends its some to fun options, though please avoid using any form of Tiny and Short Stuff. 

5. What does your OC normally wear? What would your OC wear on a special night?

Cat goes for sundresses, sweaters, jeans, t-shirts(very nerdy ones), booties and flats, light colors and just very instagram soft woman’s fashion. On special nights she has specific dresses and two piece outfits it all depends on whats going to happen for the night. You can see some examples of how basic she is here and here

8. How does your OC talk/what does your OC’s voice sound like?

Cat can be formal in her speech or just very relaxed. She can mix in some big words but will also rely on simple. This varies from person to person but her voiceclaim! I have that! You can check out her voice claim here that is Batgirl in the Arkham games. 

17. What is your OC’s imagination like?

She has a big imagination in terms of ideas and what to do for events and things, she can make stories and what not but she can’t really put that imagination into anything creative really sadly.

1. What is/are your OC’s nickname(s) and how did it come about?

Main canon: Deputy, Rook, that one guy. He doesn’t like nicknames so he doesn’t get very many. Even in other verses he doesn’t have a ton. He lets very few people give him nicknames and more so to his partners exclusively. 

5. What does your OC normally wear? What would your OC wear on a special night?

Chance is one for band shirts. plain t-shirts, jeans, boots and converse, flannels over shirts, and then his grandfather’s jean jacket or an old leather(most likely its faux in all reality) jacket he’s had since high school, but he opts for the jean more because it fits better and the memories associated with it. Chance doesn’t always do nice nights out but he will try to dress nicely. He has a few button up shirts and slacks. He has a suit jacket too but it doesn’t always get worn. He has one suit that was his dad’s and that’s it for nice clothes really.

8. How does your OC talk/what does your OC’s voice sound like?

Chance speaks very simple and doesn’t use a ton of big words, but he will also surprise you and start speaking very formal and using words that when you look at them you question how anyone can even start to pronounce them. Boy is smart and very involved with science and grew up around it. He can pronounce the latin names of species very well and can put two and two together to figure out what things mean, he just chooses to not do that outside of school/work setting. Conversationally he is very much one to use memes and old references of teenhood to speak and convey what he means. Basically when he’s casual he’s really casual and when he’s formal he’s very formal. There isn’t much inbetween with him.

His voice claim is a bit of a mixture of Logan Lerman more specific in his roles in the show Hunters along with Billie Joe Armstrong’s singing voice, specifically the song of “Christian’s Inferno”. That laugh in the song when I first heard it just was instant “That’s Chance!” moment for me.

17. What is your OC’s imagination like?

For fantasy and stories type? It hasn’t been that big since he was a kid really. As he got older though he dreams big for things in science and making new things. Its very specific and hard to articulate like he can come up with games to play and stuff like that but he’s got more imagination for science and where to go and things like that. He’s more creative when it has to do with his work and job really.

Some musings about my BNA and AC inserts, mainly general bio related ideas but nothing concrete because I’m too nervous to totally commit to anything just yet, although knowing me unless I end up tweaking this stuff like a year from now like it seems I have with all my other main selfships, I’ll likely end up keeping most of it when I finally get off my butt and make an official bio to add to my bio page because I’ve been dwelling on these specific ideas this long in the first place ghieslfjlefs

A lot of this is still subject to change, I know I keep saying that but that’s because I’m afraid of committing to or putting too much work into one idea and then changing everything...I really need to give myself more leeway to just having a bunch of different ideas for one ship that I can switch between or just do whatever I want with because again it’s just my selfship and it only really affects me...so moving on

Unsurprisingly, Nova is a black cat beastman (although her fur is more light/dark gray so her black hair stands out) that’s lived in Anima City since it was inhabitable? I know it’s only existed for 10 years in canon so that implies most of the residents made the choice to move there as adults, she was a teen when her parents moved to the city with her

In present day she lives with a roommate named Luna (an OC I made just so Nova could have an in universe friend lol) who is also a cat beastman but idk what kind yet...I was playing around with the idea of her being a calico because I thought it’d be cute but I also like the idea of her being a tortie...either way she’s another kitty lol

I’ve mentioned it before but Nova usually presents as a catgirl, not as a full furry or full human, because she wants to. Pretty much everyone outside of Luna and Shirou think it’s really weird because that’s just not how things are done in Anima City or the mainland but Nova doesn’t give a shit and regulars to the cafe are used to it. Both she and Luna go catgirl for their cafe shifts specifically, as a gimmick, but Nova stays that way pretty much all the time, unless she’s in full furry form for some reason. She only goes into her full human form when completely necessarily, like if she has to visit the mainland for something (and usually Shirou accompanies her lol)

The two kitties co-own and run a cafe known as the “Astral Alley Cat Cafe,” a reference to another furry game I absolutely adore, and because I thought it’d be funny that they both have space names and work at a place that’s also “space themed” in name if nothing else lol. And it is a legitimate cat cafe with little kitties and stuff that Luna and Nova take care of and adopt out, beastmen can own pets I’m sure :V or at least they do now lmao

I was also considering having Luna and Nova own three of their own: Io, Calypso, and a third I haven’t decided on a name for yet. I don’t even know what kind of cats they’d be, other than that at least one would be a black cat, but this is more just supplemental info that I just wanted to throw out there because that’s what this post is for

Not sure how she and Shirou met or came into contact, all I know is that he’s a regular at the cafe because he doesn’t have any friends anyway and it’s not like he cares about the gender stigma of a big brooding dude like him visiting a cutesy cat cafe multiple times a week

Although Luna and Nova do tease him about being this intimidating imposing wolf that comes and hangs out in this cute little cafe on the cat side of town of his own accord...he doesn’t care lol there is little that seems to faze him in terms of his own reputation. He just goes there to unwind and because the coffee/tea/whatever hot drink he’d be biased towards is genuinely good (thanks to Luna lol Nova is just there to look cute for the most part her culinary prowess isn’t impressive)

The most important thing is that Shirou and Nova aren’t a couple from the get go, nor do they even really have romantic feelings for each other. I’ve gone back and forth on who ends up developing feelings for who first--initially I went with Nova because I thought her panicking about the fact that he definitely didn’t and wouldn’t return her feelings but then surprise! It turns out he does would be cute, but then the more I thought about her being the oblivious one and him having legitimate feelings but being fine not acting on them because 1) he doesn’t even really know what to do with feelings like that and 2) he knows she doesn’t feel the same way and sometimes that does sting a little just got me like HOO BOY!!!!

So then for the past week I’ve just been thinking about the development of: they are just genuinely good friends, like. Nova feels so comfortable with him and vice versa, they spend a lot of free time together, she falls asleep on him/cuddles with him (esp in beast form...when he’s big fluffy wolfy and just really warm and soft and she can just sprawl out and purr against his chest and he really likes it) but it’s completely platonic and neither of them mind, they don’t act or think that it’s anything more and initially they’re both totally fine with that. Nova feels like she can talk to him about anything and vice versa and isn’t afraid to be herself with him because he’s not a guy she’s worried about impressing, but he likes her for who she is anyway which is just so :’) my heart desperately craves this wholesome “my partner is just my very best friend” feeling

There are instances where Nova ends up talking to him about relationship things because she’s just like “man I’ve been worrying about this one thing because something got me thinking about relationship stuff” and at first she doesn’t want to admit/discuss things like that with him because he is still a guy and since most of her complaints about expectations in relationships deal with gender specific stuff, she doesn’t want to make him uncomfortable plus she’s worried since he’s a guy he’ll end up judging her for it. But ofc he doesn’t and eventually coaxes it out of her with “listen, do you really think I’m the type of guy who cares about all this stuff” and she’s just like “no” and caves and ends up venting her frustration and insecurities to him a lot

I think Shirou has at least been in casual relationships before, he’s not like The Most Desired or Experienced Guy Ever but you know he’s an adult with a fair amount of life experience...so he gets where she’s coming from and offers what thoughts/advice he can in most cases, but overall he’s just taking notes so that if he ever gets the chance he can offer to be there for her and since he already knows about all this stuff it’s not like she’d have to worry about going into it blind with him :^)

Their relationship starts to shift when something happens and Nova either asks him to pretend to be her bf for a party or something, or she’s been fretting about another relationship thing, maybe kissing or something and he’s just like “well if you’re so worried about it why don’t you try it with me, since it won’t mean anything” or he like gets drunk one time and acts on impulse and maybe he forgets about anything he did or said but afterwards Nova is just like “hmmmmm??? idk if he legitimately likes me but oh no that thing we did or said together gave me feelings??? oop that’s bad”

My current favorite scenario is that they do go the “fake dating” route for a social gathering because Nova is sick of being degraded for not having a partner and Shirou’s pissed that that’s even a thing that’s been happening to her so regardless of the circumstances he would have said yes anyway, and ofc some shitty person there is just like “oh yeah well if you really are a couple you should kiss” and Nova gets into nervous, trying to play it off chattering and Shirou cuts her off with A Real Kiss and afterwards Nova’s just like “oof he’s a good kisser...Don’t Like That :^)” and idk when they’d start talking about it again but it definitely sticks with her

And at that point things start to go downhill a little because when Nova realizes she’s starting to have feelings, Shirou becomes someone she cares about in a romantic sense and all of a sudden that means there’s a lot more risk than there was before, and she has to back off a bit and isn’t as touchy feely and intimate with him as she used to be and ofc that upsets him and he ends up confronting her about it

And that’s about as far as I got lol...I don’t have anything about legitimate confessions or how their relationship starts out, I just went from “they’re really good friends with awkward feelings for each other” to “pleasant content post relationship phase where they act the same as they did before but now they kiss and stuff” because ofc Shirou ends up telling her that like...that’s okay. They can just be like that, she doesn’t have to change anything if she doesn’t want to, he already does like her and has liked her just the way she is from the beginning and he prefers things to be that way, and she’s the one who has to adjust to “oh man he makes me feel special things now...how tf am I supposed to deal with this” lol but ofc she secretly really likes it :’) she likes being special to him and vice versa

Not as much to put here because it’s Animal Cr0ssing, but that doesn’t mean I can’t still have some things reflective of both my personal play experience/island and also my ship preferences lol

Follows the premise of the game in that Nova started up on this island and built up a tropical paradise from scratch :V

In this verse however I think she’s still gonna be a catgirl because I’m just SO attached to that idea/part of my identity rather than being a full furry...still subject to change however and hell maybe I’ll just portray her one way sometimes and a different way another, it’s my selfship and I can do what I want lmao

I named my island “Rippletide” in honor of all my Octopath feelings but I’m not sure if/when I’ll ever reference that in ship since that’s a real world name...or maybe I’ll just stick with it because who cares lol

I don’t actually have Raymond on my island yet but (since I’m assuming this is how we’d meet anyway) Nova meets him on a trip to one of those random uncharted islands and hits it off with him and he says he’ll come visit her at least to check out her island and stuff but ofc he’s also got a baby crush...and she absolutely does from the moment she lays eyes on him because damn if that cat isn’t fine

They’re just a cute couple man!! Raymond helps out with fishing and bug catching sometimes but mostly he just sticks to his office work and Nova comes by his house a lot to offer presents and see what he’s up to. They go for long walks on the beach and go on museum dates and just have fun living that chill happy tropical island life :^) 

God he’s so cute I just love him so much okay like I’m just a simple furry...and he’s an adorably handsome cat ToT
