As the church was destroyed in a fire in 1992, the building was rebuilt in the original style in the late 1990s. The wood in a more venerable stave church would not look so fresh!

Gingerbread house 2023, Fantoft Stave Church

Fantoft Stave Church is a midieval church located in Norway outside Bergen. This building was a suggestion from a friend after I asked my family, friends, students and followers on Instagram to come with suggestions to what to make for this year's gingerbread house.

It took about 20+ hours over four days and consist of about 50+ pieces.

Still tinkering in Valheim.  Decided to build myself a stave church because what sort of viking would I be if I didn’t?  Also included my jarl’s longhouse and butcher hovel for fits and gigles.  Can’t wait to finish this build save so I can show it all off together. Yes, I know, this isn’t Sims, apologies.  More of that coming soon.
