Hikori stifled his laughter at the sight. The great Arcanine felled by scratches! What fascinated him more was the subtle glow emitting from Ky's form. He watched with excitement as the fangs around Roshi's neck alter to blue that matched the Kyogre. He never watched a blessing performed in action, the strange incantation sounding like a melody as he observed. 

Roshi on the other hand, his laughter ceased as he felt the power emit from Ky. He held himself still, mind racing. It wasn't expecting the tranquil wave washing over him, coaxing him to relax. He blinked with amazement, feeling a subtle blanket envelop his being. 

He waited until they were done, shifting on his paws. Everything felt… normal? "Why did you offer me this?" Gods had an awful way of wanting something in return. Yet Ky seemed to want nothing from what he could tell. It confused him. It made him suspicious. "You get nothing out of this. You gods are never this nice for no reason…

He shook his head, his gaze averting. "Don't bother answering my question. Just get out of here. You have done enough." His expression grew unsettled. 

Hikori stepped up, lowering his head as a way of respect. "Thanks for the help again! I think we'll be ok!"

sobbing over the humanity of the robots in Stray. they listen to music. they play dungeons & dragons. they have barber shops and bars and play the guitar and write poetry. they get heart eyes when a cat purrs against their legs. there are robot children! robot grandparents! they like comfy pillows and candles and warm blankets and they grow plants in a city that has never seen sunlight! they’re human and they’re not and there’s no humans left and they’re alive. ahhhhhhh

I want to believe that these two made enough of an impact on the robots that got to meet this duo to be forever immortalized in paint and legend passed through generations yet to come
