One year one of the batkids asks for Clark for help in evading Bat cause who better than the superman? Cue Bruce finding them not only in record time, but sitting them down along with Clark and giving a step-by-step breakdown over powerpoint detailing every step where they failed to truly cover their tracks/something they failed to account for.

Also, no one knows Clark better than Bruce so what were they expecting really?

I think they fail to understand that superpowers and staying physically ahead of Bruce is only one part of the puzzle. It’s not about evading him in the short term; the key to winning is not running away or hiding in exactly the kind of spot he’s herding you to.

Bruce knows that if Superman’s involved, he won’t be able to track Dick quickly in the moment, but that doesn’t matter if Dick’s hiding spot is still predictable. If Dick’s logic and reasoning are predictable, Bruce can find him. And even when he tries not to be predictable, that in and of itself is predictable.

For example: drawing Dick out of hiding by making his hiding spot seem less appealing. Flushing your prey out of the hole, just like hunting.

Bruce, unshaven, cowl off: *looking up from League reports* "Finally. Now that you're finished with your unapproved holiday, I brought you all the paperwork you have to sign off on, four reports of shenanigans you can deal with, and one of the Lanterns lost a deep space "pet" somewhere, so I need you to find it."

Clark, smiling; "You didn't have to do all that. How long have you been here?"

Bruce, checking his watch: "Around ten minutes, too long already. I better get going." *climbs out of the chair, every joint cracking horribly*

Clark:

Clark: "Do you have any idea how many mattresses are around here?"

Bruce, rolling his eyes: "I was not about to lug a mattress in here. Terrific told me you'd recover soon, not that you can be counted upon for anything."

Clark: *mentally reminding himself that Ma would disown him if he joked about regretting saving Bruce's life*

Clark: "With that kind of bedside manner I'm starting to understand why you dropped out of med school."

Terrific, bursting into the room: "Is everything okay? I thought I heard something-- is he okay?"

Clark: "We can never truly be sure. Batman, stop laughing, you're freaking people out."

I’m waiting for a Cass and Clark team up. I mean if she’s gonna be Batman one day she’s gonna have to learn to get along with Supes. The problem there being I think if somebody tried shielding her from bullets she would find it to be literally the single most insulting thing anybody has done to her in her life.

Thinking about eye in the sky and the bat kids. I feel like Kal would like getting them all together for some family orientated holiday just to play happy families. Like, if they have no incidents during the year, the get to come to [insert family holiday here], and it's awful for everyone but Kal, because he thinks he's doing something nice for Bruce meanwhile all the bats are miserable because they can see but not touch, can't talk about anything real, can't offer each other real comfort because Kal is watching their every move to make sure they all stay within his idea of a wholesome family holiday

But they do it anyway, because it's the only day of the year they get to see each other in person

Oof, or something like a formal military ball where it's all the brass in their formal uniforms, there as representatives of their respective forces. And none of them can do more than nod at Bruce, positioned right at Kal's side. Or from across the room. Stiff backs, rigid uniforms, and stilted conversation about various "fronts" while all of them are trying desperately to communicate as much information as they can through looks, hand signals, an micro expressions.

The worst, I think, would be for the boys to see Bruce paraded around as some sort of half-trophy, half-general. To see how much favor and respect he's lost among the former League and its supporters. And for Bruce to see his children growing up but unable to ask about new scars, or new developments, etc.

I imagine they only get one or two of these before Diana realizes how much information they're passing to each other and convinces Kal it's too much of a "security risk" for Bruce to be visible/public, and he gets locked back even further onto the Watchtower and in his training role as a result,.
